AMOOOO essa cena e irei protegê-la eternamente!

Ok, admito, eu não era muito interessada nessa versão de Lois e Clark (sou obsecada pela dos anos 90), poréeeeeem.. após todo esse tempo eu senti vontade de ver Smallville e me aventurar assistindo a dinâmica da relação desses dois personagens (que eu AMOOO DEMAIS em todas as versões, até desenho). E cara .. * pausa dramática * ... essa cena aí, no episodio 4x3 me ganhou de uma tal maneira, que olha. Motivos:

O sorriso do Tom Welling faz o pior dia da sua vida virar o melhor. MEU DEUS DO CÉU! Que homem é esse?! Pq Deus faz pessoas tão lindas e outras tão feias?! Tô apaixonada na carinha deste menino saindo da água descabelado.

A química FENOMENAL entre os personagens me fez ficar de queixo caído. O jeito que eles interagem, se divertem juntos como amigos zoeiros, ele jogando água nela, ela bagunçando o cabelo dele, os OLHARES que nas entrelinhas já sabemos o que será.

O fato da Chloe ter olhado e percebido exatamente o que citei ali em cima e fazendo cara de "É, eles se amam, não sabem, mas vão ficar juntos". AHHHHHHHH! BERROOOOO!!

Parabéns roteirista desse episódio. Você é foda! Te amo.

Lex: So you are dating SuperGIRL now? Hm?

Lena: Please stop.

Lex: Can't a man ask about his baby sister poor life choices?

Lena: No. And it's not what you are doing anyway.

Lex: And what in god's name is it that I'm doing?

Lena: You know I spoke with mom and you are trying to mimic her homophobic talking points so you can pretend the reason you are mad is that I'm dating a woman and not that you are jealous that I got to date Supergirl while the closest you got to Superman was a hyper controled punch.

Lex: I'm not doing that! And I do resent the acusation! I'm merely concerd about what people will think of the Luthor's name when-

Lena: Fuck off. You hate people. The last time you cared about what people were saying was when they compared you to Elon Musk and that is a massive insult. Before that you were twelve.

Lex: Mayhaps. But there is the question of money.

Lena: I don't think we can ever lose enough money to stop being the 1%. It's actually concerning and we should at least pay more taxes...

Lex: Uh... Actually I think you should not be with woman because god doesn't like it! Yeah. That's it! Nothing to do with Superman at all.

Lena: *laughs* The last time you even sugested the existence of a god you were high, had not took your meds in a while and was talking about how you were a god and would become the only one soon. Please.

Lex: Maybe I'm merely preparing you to deal with mother.

Toddler!Conner: *wobbles into the room* Dada!

Lena: *baby talk to Conner* Who is this cutie? * to Lex* No, really who is this child?

Lex: *avoiding eye contact* Surely not a artifically made baby I created with mine and Superman's stolen DNA and am now raising.

Lena: LEX?!

Lex: I said I didn't do it and if I had I'm older and you hold no power over me.

Lena: You have a dangerous obcession and that is ridiculous. You can't just genetically engineer a child with your's forgive me the childish word "crush".

Lex: I did not! For your information he was supposed to be a weapon of mass destruction to protect Earth when Superman finally failed like we all know he will.

Lena: HOW IS THAT BETTER?

Lex: I don't want to do that anymore?

Lena: You better not.

Lex: Don't worry. I won't be like father, I have principles.

Lena: Again you better do. Because if not aunt Lena and aunt Kara are going to make you pay.

Not long after The Outlaws dealt with Untitled, Cheshire cane to Roy with a suprise. It's a girl!

Roy will of course keep his daughter, but his relationship with Kori and Jason is kinda... idk, loose? Open? Kori is not into labels, and Jason has kinda screwed sense on love and relationships. So he's scared it'll be the end. They surely won't want to get involve in a whole ass child!

But, suprise, they are very much ready. Not as parents - they both have very complex issues with their own family/parents, and won'tcommit as such. But they will stick to Roy. They will help with Lian.

So, The Outlaws newer break. They stick together, and try to get handle on basic parenting and babies caring. The babyproofed the spaceship.

For now, Lian is a tiny little baby, but when she starts to grow, they have to figure out how to socialise her with other children. Where, and with who will they do that?

So. They run away to some far-ass little village. Kinda like Smalville,but with kindergarden and families that live there. They get a house, and they hide the spaceship in their garden.

And then Jason freaks out, because oh shit, he kinda left Gotham, and he bought a house, and he's the second emergency contact for Lian. (Kori's the second. Lian wanted it that way, nobody knows why.)

So he kind of get away on some mission,and Roy and Kori get super worried. Lian is sad too, because she doesn't know when Jay will be back.

Then it is time for Kori to freak out. Because she realises that that thing they had? It was loose, and open, and they never labeled what was between them. She was scared on getting hurt like with Dick. And now it became something real. She's parenting a child, even if they don't call it like that. And she loves Lian, and Jason and Roy. So she gets spooked and is like 'I'll go search for Jason' and promptly dissapear.

And then Roy freaks out. Because yes, Kori and Jason and even him were going on missions from time to time, but he's suddenly alone with Lian, and he's got no idea where his partners are!

Lian, go figure, is the smartest one. She pats Roy on the back and says the will obviously be back, because they obviously love each other. When Jason and Kori are back, slightly more freaked out, she also pats them and is like 'dad loves you, and i love you, you can't dissapear like that. Dad was very sad'.

With that, they have very adult conversation about their feeling, and they kinda say out loud that they're exclusive and together, and they love each other.

Fast forward, let's say a year. The summer break is on, and Lian wants to go to space. And joyfire are suckers for her, so they do go to space. And they get married in space. There is a whole situation around it, bat that's the point.

Lian is very glad to be a Tamaranian princess. Jason secretly is also enjoying being a prince by law.

Kori nad Jason still aren't mom and dad for Lian, but they're her parents, and it's kinda just accepted. Especially now that they're married to Roy.

Meanwhile, Arrows and Bats've got no idea what's going on. Outlaws are kinda popping out all around the world from time to time, but mostly stays silent. When they finally get their shit together and try to repair their relationships with them, they're very suprised.

Clark rode the glass elevator up to his penthouse in Metropolis. He could never afford a place like this on a farm boy allowance, but he didn't need to thanks to his alien physiology. He was loaded with money that he stole from banks. Night after night, parties. Guys. Girls. Sex. Drugs. Whatever he wants, he gets.

He frowns unhappily as the elevator dings, and the door opens. Clark sees his best friend from Smalville, Y/N L/N, outside his penthouse door, looking in the window. He turns to him when he hears the elevator. "Clark, I need to talk to you about ..."

The words die in his throat as Clark comes toward him, backing him against the railing and towering over him as he growls. "Y/N, I told you to never come back here again! Who else knows I'm here?"

"No one. Your secret's safe with me, but we need to talk."

Clark walks past him and opens the door into the penthouse as he tries to shut the door on him. "I'm busy." Y/N stuck his foot in the door. "Well, I'm coming in. Now, what's your deal? You come to Metropolis, and you're a completely different person."

"Maybe it's the real me." Clark said.

"Well, if it is, then I definitely prefer the farm boy version. Now... how did you afford all this?" Y/N looks at the expensive looking clothes and shoes. The silky bedsheets and bunch of elegant wine and booze. A new stereo, strobe lights, a gaming system, and a giant TV screen.

"Why, Y/N? Gonna tell all the rednecks back in Nowheresville? Maybe that's why you kept my secret."

"I kept your secret because you asked me to. I was hoping that if I left you alone, you'd get a grip and come home. Now, there are people in Smallville that still haven't given up on the search."

Clark rolled his eyes at that. He could give two fucks about Smallville. Living like a poor man, always wanting for something. "I'm tired of worrying about every nickel and dime. I figured it was time I had all the same cool stuff everyone else has. Besides, I've erased Smallville from my past." He sat in a chair.

Y/N eyed the red stone class ring on Clark's finger. "Really? Is that why you're still wearing your school ring?" Clark touched his ring and frowns. The red Kryptonite was making him into a different person. A person he didn't recognize, but he didn't care. He liked being Kal of Metropolis.

"You know, sooner or later, someone else is gonna find you."

"You were lucky."

"Maybe so. But what are you gonna do if one day Lana shows up on your doorstep, or your dad? How are you gonna explain this to them?" Y/N asked.

"I'm through explaining myself to anyone, Y/N!" Clark shouts.

"Clark, Lana is a wreck, and your parents are losing the farm!"

Clark stood up and walked across the room to pour himself a drink at the small bar. "What do I care? I'm never gonna go back anyway."

"Clark, you were not forced into exile. You ran away from your problems. You are not being noble. You're being a coward!" Y/N shouts out after him.

Clark's eyes flash a dangerous red color as he struggles to control himself. His anger and urges as he walks back to Y/N, grabbing his shoulders, pushing him to the door. "Y/N, get out! If you tell anyone where I am, I'll go so far away from Metropolis that no one will ever find me!"

"Get your hands off me!" Y/N pushed him back. "I don't even know who you are anymore."

Clark got in his face, lips close enough to kiss. "Get out!"

"Make me, you selfish bastard!"

Clark crashed their lips together in a heated and passionate kiss as Y/N tugged at Clark's hair before the Kryptonian lifted the human boy up in his strong arms and carried him to his bed.

Currently writing a Superfam snow day fic and an offhand line about driving got me thinking:

Kansans have negative winter/icy roads driving skills. They are TERRIBLE at it. I say this as someone who has Kansas relatives, but does not live there.

So picture Clark, in Metropolis, after experiencing his first major snowstorm. He has to drive for some reason (picking Lois up from somewhere). Lois actually knows how to drive on winter/icy roads. She is horrified. She makes Clark pull over so that she can drive instead because "Really, Smalville, were you trying to get in an accident?"

Lois then insists on teaching Clark how to drive on winter roads so he's no longer a road hazard during winter. Bruce gets to help/be the mock driver's examiner after Lois calls him to complain about their boyfriend's lack of driving skills (because I think this works best as Cloisbat)

Bruce: Clark, why did Lois call me and say we had to teach you to drive before you killed us?

Clark: You're both terrible drivers and she's exaggerating. I can drive perfectly safely on ice!

Bruce: So what did you do?

Clark: I stopped before driving up a hill. It's slippery!

Bruce: You what?!?!

Clark: It's slippery!

Bruce: *going through the five stages of grief about how Clark is going to end up in a car accident*

And then Lois and Bruce teach Clark how to drive in winter conditions and despair when he says that everyone drives like this.

In no particular order: 1. it was always you (mcu, thor/sif, teen, 4943w) - a thor/sif soulmate fic. i was nervous since i hadn't written this ship and their voices were intimidating but i was happy with how it turned out.

2. meeting in the middle (superman returns, clark/richard pre-slash, teen, 1445w) - another new fandom/ship i wrote for yuletide and it was fun to think about it/give a shot

3. you drive me crazy (but its all right) (smalville, clark/lois, teen, 2408w) - a clois s4 fic where studying turns into something more. i enjoyed writing them in the early seasons and it was easy to just keep going

4. you feel like home (mcu, sam/bucky, teen, 2843w) - in which bucky starts wearing cap gear to drive sam nuts. the prompt was the recip's and it was another one i liked writing

5. let's give them something to talk about (how about love) (smallville, clark/oliver, teen, 10604w) - a clark/oliver fake dating fic. i love the theme and was happy to have an excuse to write it for them.

Fancast to play Vincent Thorpe : Michael Rosenbaum. He is the right age and he was Lex Luthor in Smalville so he has history with the creators of the show who also created Smalville. If Vincent Thorpe is how I am imagining him to be, he would be a tamer version of Lionel Luthor from Smalville and Rosenbaum could 100% pull that off. He plays charming but distant, intimitaing and controlling so well and thats how I imagine Vincent Thorpe to be. Hes my dream actor for this role since they mentioned him

Kara: *very very nervous* *on the phone*Lena! I have a situation.

Lena: What happened? How can I help?

Kara: Remember that I decided to take you nephew for a flight.

Lena: Yes? Did something happened to Conner?

Kara: I droped him. He kept asking and I though I would be abble to just catch him middle flight but there was a stupid bird and *crying* Lena... I think he is dead.

Lena: Oh he is fine.

Kara: I... Look I understand that denial is hard, babe. And I also understand if you never want to see me again. I'll just try to find the body at least.

Lena: He really is fine. You should know kriptonians are like suuuper invulnerable.

Kara: Yes, but Conner is human. Right?

Conner, right on cue, completly fine on a crater on the floor of an empty Deli's parking lot: *gigling* Hi, auntie Kara, it was soo fun. I was scared when you droped me but then I feel and it barely hurt and I want it again!

Kara: Lena?? Did you forgot to tell me something?

Lena: Ooh! That... *akward laugh* Uh... so... my brother might have bioengeneered Kon by mixing his and Superman's DNA.

Kara: And why didn't you tell me?

Lena: Look Conner likes his life and being a father is doing wonders for Lex. He didn't got himself into shaddy bussinnes in two months, he has spent a whole week without trash talking Superman even once and I'm including Clark Kent, he is almost a year crime free. I think he is starting to say "thank you" and "please" and actually take his meds! And I was afraid that if you knew you would try to separate them.

Kara: Okay. You know it is not Conner responsability to turn your brother into a better person, right? Just like it isn't yours.

Lena: I know. But Lex is a good dad. Conner adores him and Lex is crazy for his kid, he is super proud and always takes time to spend with Conner and he is patient with him and maybe spoils him a bit too much but is nothing drastic. Please don't separate them.

Kara: I just wanted to make sure you know that. You spent too much time holding the burden of feeling like you should to turn your mother into a better person and I don't want you to go back to this mentality again and even less put Conner into it.

Lena: I'm not. I promise. If Conner ever feels like that, I'll make sure to stop it however I can.

Kara: Good. So I have a second cousin. Huh?

Lena: *smiles* Yeah.

Kara: I should probably tell Clark about him, right?

Lena: *tense* Yes, it's the right thing to do.

Kara: I really should.

Lena: Yes. You should.

Kara: Reaaally should.

Lena: You're not gonna do it. Are you?

Kara: He ate all my cookies.

I’ve never seen Smalville and I’ve never really felt tempted expept to see if the episode with The Flash is as gay as it looks on the youtube shorts clip I just watched. Clark asks Bart what he can do to make him stay and Bart says catch him and starts running. and of course he’s way faster. and they run for a bit and then he turns around. 

And here's the moment. The aching longing moment if I’m reading it right. Where Bart is watching Clarks face to see how hard he’s trying to catch him. Trying to tell Clark that he’s willing to be caught if Clark runs hard enough to make him believe he really wants him. And instead of realizing that he’s being asked something to big to ask in words Clark sees him running backwards and smiles because to him it’s only a race. He isn’t attracted to Bart. I haven't seen the show or even the full episode but I’d guess that its the joy of being able to share a moment where doesn’t have to hold back. He’s othered in a different way and their connection will never be romantic so Bart stops holding back and goes. 

And I don’t think I ever will watch any Smallville because I like the story I’ve built arount the scene so much.
