It has been a week since you and Geto had rescued Mimiko and Nanako from the village. Between the constant task of sorting through legal papers to officially take the girls into your care and ensuring they were settling in well, your mind never fully rested. They were subtle at first, just short, professional messages about the progress of the legal paperwork. But over the days, the tone of his messages had changed. He would share little things like how the weather was, how he wished you could come back soon, or how he hoped Mimiko and Nanako were adjusting well.

It's like the old Geto is coming back. He also told you that he has been opening up more to his friends, especially Gojo about his thoughts. It seemed to be going well on his end.
