Anyone who thinks Pidge isn't a Slytherin is an idiot. She changed her entire identity to get into a school, that by the way she didn't even really like, just to find information on her dad and brother.

HP Voltron crossover?
When Harry went to Hogwarts there was a group of ghosts they were..... strange to say the least. No one only a few ghosts knew their names, and they wouldn’t tell a single soul their name’s. They went by Paladins of the colour of the lions that followed them, the sixth went by advisor and the last Shiro but no one could find their names in history books. A group of seven, five followed by lions.
The lions had a ghostly hue with a bright colour emanating off of them.
Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, and the assumed pride leader, Black. Black was the biggest followed by Yellow, then Blue, followed by Red, and finally Green. Each followed a ghost with mysterious ease, sometimes looking at people if considering them for something but never deciding.
They each stayed at a table two at the Slytherin table, one of which had the Paladin name of the Red Paladin he was with tall and lanky with freckles covering his body, short hair, a few big scars, and rumour had it that in life he had beautiful eyes that seemed to hold an entire ocean, he appeared to wear a long cloak with robes underneath along with some armour, the reputation he carried for being a massive flirt was no lie he would flirt with any year seven even went after the Blue and Black Paladins -he failed with Blue not Black- he also bore a marking of what appeared to be a bruise of a rope on his neck. The Red lion would follow him around purring and nudging and -rarely nipping- for attention. The other a smaller person half the time you could here them teasing each other, she had short hair that makes her look like a boy, she also bore similar scars but had less as if protected or missing during all the important battles, she wore the same outfit as the other Paladins. Her own lion would stand there and observe with here for what appeared to be hours on end. From what Harry had learned from Hermione -who had been told a bit by the Green paladin for her amazing aptitude for knowledge- she was the youngest Paladin.
The Slytherin’s had bragged at least several times that both of their Paladins were pure-bloods, when the Paladins found out the Slytherins ended up having a very large mess in their common room for seven months, they never did it again.
On the other end of the spectrum at the Hufflepuff table were two resided.
The Yellow Paladin and the Black Paladin.
The Yellow Paladin had a bandana wrapped around his head, short hair, he had a smile on his face all the time except for when he was worrying, the fact that he had some scars but not as much as the others, he always had a spark in his eyes at the feast, he would help the house elves cook, you could always tell when he did everyone went hard on grabbing as much food as they could. He was quite chubby though no one said it aloud apparently, one year someone called him “fat” the Paladins made that person suffer for the rest of their time a Hogwarts. The Yellow lion would follow purr nudge and listen to his rants about the food. The Black Paladin was the second smallest of the group with a mullet -as of from the 80s though probably much, much older-, he had eyes that would slit and glow yellow when extremely mad, there was a scar that went up his left cheek down his neck, some people say Shiro gave it to him then it was debunked the fact they are half brothers, to quote Ron “no one in their right mind would maim their sibling” Shiro had looked so ashamed as Ron said that, when he wouldn’t come to dinner the Red Paladin or one of the others -most of the Red Paladin- be playing with a small cat most people theorized that he’s an animimagi he denied as the black lion just rubbed her face against his hand.
Whenever Slytherin and Hufflepuff had a quidditch match or one was beating the other at the house cup it seemed a flare was sparked between the Red and Black Paladins that had many insults thrown and often the Green Paladin would scream at them to “SHUT UP AND KISS ALREADY!” to which a truce came into existence to bring down the Green Paladin. To which they would kiss over her head and at the same time ask if she was happy now? The answer would always be “it was worth it” or “put me down or I’ll skin you two dead!”
At the Ravenclaw table two people sat there the ‘advisor’ and the Blue Paladin or Princess, they had somewhat of a father daughter relationship.
They had bright hair and two weird markings under their with pointed ears.
The Blue Paladin had a crown with long flowing hair her cheek markings always glowed a bright pink, she wore a dress and a cloak cut of at the elbows she had a hole in her stomach an assumed stab wound, she could so regally like royalty which she apparently was it made total sense she usually was the peace maker between the Paladins, she and the Blue lion would often mother the rest of the Paladins and lions -except for the Blacks that was the Reds job- but would not hesitate to tease them, all of the Ravenclaws respected her who wouldn’t she’s smart intelligent and beautiful, also because boys fell at her feet. The advisor had blue markings, with a fancy suit -”not this century!” “Ow you’re kidding me Black” “none of us are!”- he often would speak in charms and potions on things that only the Flitwick and the seven years -Hermoine and a couple Ravenclaws- could understand, he would also spout things like Yalmors and Weblums along with balmarans, no one except the other Paladins, Luna, anyone who read the Quibbler, and Dumbledore would understand.
The last Paladin was Shiro he had a scar right across his nose and his right arm was missing no one knew how but then again no one knew much about them. He was the Black Paladins half brother and now and again you would see him leave the Gryfindor table to talk to Hufflepuff Paladins other times all the Paladins would sit a table and just talk.
The last thing Harry expected to find when he was looking for a place to host the D.A. meetings were the two of the Paladins laughing and talking.
“Keith ha! we are definitely gonna win against Hufflepuff!”  “What makes you say that Lance? You gonna cheat?” He saw the Black Paladin - no Keith- talking to who he assumed was Lance.
“No I’ve already got the most competitive Hufflepuffs head out of the game.”
“Really?” Keith said raising an eyebrow.
As he watched Lance lean down and kiss Keith. Harry almost immediately backtracked walking out of the room. Two thought repeating in his head ‘nope nope nope’ along with ‘I know to Paladins names’
Ummm sorry if I misrepresented any characters been awhile since I read Harry Potter.

Best Kept Secret
Summary: Hogwarts AU. Between their duties as Head Boy and Girl and keeping up with their grades, it's hard for Pidge and Keith to find time to be together. Still, they manage to steal moments whenever they can.
Pairing: Keith/Pidge
Tagging @luce-ciel who showed interest in this when I mentioned it the other day.

Story notes at the end!
Best Kept Secret
Katie “Pidge” Holt carefully finished buttoning her collared shirt and then attempted to smooth out the wrinkles with her hands before deeming herself presentable. She smiled as hands reached out, pulling her back against a warm body, but didn't put up a fuss even as her clothing was rumpled once again.
“Don't forget your tie,” a low, husky voice murmured in her ear.
She shivered as he draped the silk tie around her neck, moving her hair out of the way to do so. She tilted her head back. “Keith...”
Keith chuckled as he bowed his head, kissing her deeply.
“You gave me the wrong tie,” Pidge breathlessly accused as they parted. Even without looking, she knew the colors of the tie around her neck were yellow and black, rather than the green and silver of her own House.
“Is it?” Keith asked in a tone that was just on the side of sounding too innocent.
Pidge giggled and kissed him again, unable to help herself. “Just one more week,” she reminded him, her voice full of promise. She turned in his arms, taken by the need to hug him. She felt his arms shift around her, readjusting to make her more comfortable.
“I can't wait to get out of here,” Keith admitted. “One more week and we won't have to deal with House prejudices anymore. No one will bat an eye over our relationship.”
Pidge pressed her face against his shoulder and, for a moment, she said nothing. Then, in a quiet voice, made a confession of her own. “I keep envisioning the End of Term feast. Us walking in together. You sweeping me up in your arms and... and kissing me, right there in front of everyone.”
She could feel Keith's sharp intake of breath.
“Is that really what you want?” he asked.
“Yes,” she whispered back.
It terrified her, how much she wanted it. She was tired of all of the sneaking around, of the lies she told to avoid suspicion. For so long, she'd wanted to reveal the truth, but it wasn't possible thanks to the state her House was in. One day she hoped things would be different, but at the moment it wasn't possible to tell everyone without risking her safety or Keith's.
But graduation was upon them. In a week's time, they would board the Hogwarts Express one final time. They would spend a few weeks at home awaiting their NEWT scores before setting out on new paths. Keith, she knew, already had a place as a trainee for the Department of Magical Law Enforcement thanks to Shiro. And Pidge was all set with an apprenticeship in Spellcrafting with a  Master who took only the brightest and most passionate as her pupils.
“Would you wear my tie then too?” Keith asked.
Pidge blinked, pulled out of her thoughts and back to their conversation. She drew away so she could smile up at him. “I'd like that. A lot. We should at least follow one great Hogwarts tradition before we leave.”
Keith returned her own tie, draping it around her neck in the same fashion as before, and then reclaimed his own. “Not that anyone will be paying attention to it while we're snogging in front of them.”
“It's the meaning that counts,” Pidge said, reluctantly backing away to finish neatening up before they headed down to the Great Hall for breakfast – separately, of course. She was aware of Keith's eyes on her as she walked around to gather up her few scattered belongings. The room they'd commandeered for their “sleepovers” was a fascinating one, but they weren't sure what would happen to their stuff if they left anything behind.
“You know, we could sneak down to the kitchens for food. Spend the rest of the day together... No one would notice we were gone,” he tried to convince her.
Pidge raised an eyebrow, despite being secretly pleased by the attempt. “Keith, everyone would notice if the Head Boy and Girl disappeared for most of the day. At the very least, Lance would convince the other Prefects that we've been kidnapped, or something equally as ridiculous.”
Keith recognized that he'd been beat. His shoulders slumped as he began to gather his own things. “I'll see you tonight then? For the Prefect dinner?”
“I'd forgotten that was tonight,” Pidge murmured, more to herself. “Yeah, I'll see you there.” She shouldered her bag, double checking to make sure she had everything. The only exam she had left was Ancient Runes and she wanted to squeeze in a little extra time to review her notes before then.
Her mind was already miles away, cataloging everything she needed to get done for the day. After breakfast was review, and then another unnecessary meeting with the Slytherin seventh year Prefect, Lotor, who seemed to think his opinion of who would make a good Head Boy or Girl for the next year was Very Important. After that no-doubt exhausting ordeal was lunch and then it was off to the last of her final exams. Her only plan after that was to relax with a long, warm bubble bath before she had to prep for the End-of-Term dinner where she and Keith would announce their picks for next year's Head Boy and Girl.
All-in-all, Pidge had a busy day ahead of her.
Keith smiled fondly as he watched her, knowing the exact moment her attention turned to something else. It was actually nice, knowing she trusted him enough to let her guard down. He couldn't wait for the day they could get their own place together – nothing too big, but not so cramped they couldn't have their individual space. Pidge would definitely need an office of her own for all of her projects...
He shook his head.
They weren't ready for that step yet, he knew, but it was nice to think about.
“Hey,” he called to get her attention. He waited until he was sure she was paying attention to him before telling her he was heading down to the Great Hall.
“Oh, okay. I'll see you tonight,” Pidge said distantly.
Keith wanted to linger for a while, but he knew he needed to get down to breakfast soon, so when Pidge followed a few minutes later she'd have enough time to eat. “Don't study too hard. And if you need me to hex Lotor for you, just say the word.”
Pidge grinned, fully snapping out of her daze at the old joke. “As always, your offer is tempting. Careful, or I may actually take you up on that.”
After that playful exchange, Keith left the room in high spirits and carefully made his way to breakfast through use of several secret passages to disguise the fact that he was traveling down from the seventh floor rather than up from the dungeons. It was unlikely that anyone would question the Head Boy about why he was patrolling the halls so early in the morning. He'd always had a penchant for roaming with no real goal in mind except to learn his way around, and as it was the last week of his final year, he felt he could easily convince even the nosiest of people that it was a walk driven by nostalgia. (Which wasn't completely a lie. Hogwarts was a second home to him and he would miss it.)
Keith encountered no one else on his travel and was soon sitting at the Hufflepuff table next to Shay, who leaned over to discuss that night's dinner as he began helping himself to food.
“Hunk wishes to know if you're sure two dozen of his homemade biscuits are enough for dessert,” she said.
Keith raised his eyes to glance over at the Ravenclaw table, where the seventh year Prefect of that House sat talking to a rather nervous-looking pair of first years. “Two dozen is fine. Honestly, he doesn't need to make anything; the house elves have it covered.”
“Ah,” Shay said, fiddling with her fork. “I know. He's just nervous, that's all. It's the last time we'll have a meeting together, you know? I think... I think he just wants to leave a good impression. So no one forgets him.”
“That's not going to happen,” Keith said firmly. “Even if Lance didn't throw a huge party for his birthday and invite the whole school every year, we'd still find some reason to meet up. All of us. Except for Lotor.”
Shay giggled.
Keith would have to make a note to have Hunk over sometime during the summer. He was sure Shiro and Adam wouldn't mind the company.
Things were bound to change once they graduated, but that didn't mean everything had to change. The relationships they'd formed at school were important and while there was every chance they could drift apart over the years, he wanted to hope that they were ones that would last.
He glanced up at the double doors leading into the Great Hall just in time to see Pidge arrive and slip quietly over to the Slytherin table. Next to him, Shay sighed in disappointment and he knew he'd started smiling at the sight of his girlfriend.
Keith schooled his face into what he hoped was a neutral expression. “What?”
“There's only a week left, you know. That's not much time to tell her how you feel,” Shay told him.
Keith could feel his face heating up. She'd been on his case for three months about working up the courage to confess his feelings to Pidge, having apparently decided that he'd been harboring a secret crush on her since the start of term. He wanted to tell Shay the truth, but knew she'd accidentally tell Hunk, who would then tell Lance, who would tell the entire school.
'One more week,' he reminded himself.
Shay sighed again and he felt a stab of guilt.
Maybe... maybe it wouldn't hurt to tell a few people? Their friends, at least, who wouldn't make such a big deal about it. And then they'd have support when they did reveal their relationship.
Keith would have to talk to Pidge about it later.
With that plan loosely in mind, he began to eat. He'd need his strength to get through the rest of the day.
NOTES
I have a ton of thoughts for this AU, but I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to writing more fics for this. (Unless everyone wants more. I'm pretty easily persuaded.) Still, I'll probably post some stuff about it here, at least so I can get my thoughts out. But some notes for this:
- I'm sure it's the teachers who pick Prefects and the Head Boy and Girl, but in this AU it's up to the returning students. So basically, Head Boy picks the next Head Boy and Head Girl picks the next Head Girl. The new HB and HG work with the teachers to pick the 6th year Prefects. The last week of school is used to acclimate the new HB and HG to their positions.
For Pidge and Keith's year, the roster goes something like: Slytherin: Pidge (Head Girl) and Lotor | Two unnamed 6th year prefects (one is probably Kinkade.) Hufflepuff: Keith (Head Boy) and Shay | Two unnamed 6th year prefects (Leifsdottir is one?) Ravenclaw: Hunk and an unnamed girl | Two unnamed 6th year prefects (Probably Rizavi) Gryffindor: Lance and Allura | Two unnamed 6th year prefects (you can see the pattern here. It's Griffin.)
- Keith lives with Shiro and Adam. It's not an official adoption, but Shiro has guardianship over Keith and took him in the year after he graduated. Shiro refused to watch a friend grow up in a muggle orphanage while trying to keep up with his magical studies like he had to.
- Things in Slytherin House are... not the best. Distrust still runs high, though Pidge has done what she can to start shifting the way things are. As much as she dislikes Lotor, he HAS helped her with that.
- Keith wants to be an Auror, like Shiro.
- Pidge plans on earning her Mastery in Spellcrafting so she can invent useful new things for the wizarding world, possibly mimicries of muggle technology, or even adapting them to work in magical environments.

Day 1
Hunk: “Hey Pidge. Whatcha doin’?”
Pidge: “Ah that stupid hat put me in Slytherin instead of Ravenclaw, so I’m studying to get my revenge.”
Hunk: “Oh, by showing you have the determination and strengths of a Ravenclaw?”
Pidge: “Yeah. Plus a few stategically placed moths with a homing spell on ‘em won’t hurt.”
Hunk: “I think it put you in the right house.”

Lance chases Pidge; Pidge seeks Lance
If you knew the right places to look, the Ravenclaw tower contained a plethora of hidden secrets. One of the first ones students tended to learn was if you gave the enchanted doorknocker technically correct answers to her riddles but not the one she was looking for, she’ll still open the door but snark at you for several seconds. Ticia DeVaughn once missed a week of classes because she was convinced the design of the common room carpet contained coded instructions for brewing a mystery potion.
(It turned out to yield an unnecessarily convoluted but delicious stew. Ticia got a month of detention but declared no regrets when she fed half the Ravenclaw House.)
Pidge’s favorite so far was the secret passage to the wrap-around balcony. She often did her homework by candlelight under the stars - something about the night sky was calming and helped her focus. Half the time another student was there too, but every Ravenclaw understood a tacit code of silence on the balcony, especially at night.
Tonight Pidge hadn’t intended to do homework; she simply couldn’t fall asleep. It was better to be awake and outside than awake and listening to the other second-year girls snore. She leaned back in her chair, and a small blur of movement caught her eye from the direction of the Quidditch pitch. She leaned forward over the rail. Maybe it was just an owl? No, owls didn’t fly like that. The faint figure she tried to focus on moved too erratically. Someone was flying a broomstick after hours.
As quietly as she could, Pidge rushed back to her dormitory to find her broomstick and omnioculars. She felt relieved when she crept back to the hidden balcony and found the figure still zipping around the pitch. There’s no way she’d be able to sleep not knowing who’d snuck out. She searched for them through the onmioculars, fiddling with the settings and slowing down the speed to get a good look.
She huffed a laugh when she recognized the green string bean. Pocketing the omnioculars, Pidge cautiously climbed onto the wall, and in a practiced move leapt of the ledge onto her broom.
Cold wind brushed through her hair and Pidge resisted the urge to holler joyfully into the night air. She sped towards the Quidditch pitch, zeroed in on the quaffle’s trajectory, and snatched it from its path inches from Lance’s fingertips.
“What the - ”
Pidge flitted behind Lance, spinning the quaffle on her finger. “Looking for this?”
He whirled around, rocking slightly on his broom. “Hey! That’s not fair.”
“What about a perfectly legal steal isn’t fair?”
Lance huffed. “How about the parts where you’re a Seeker, I didn’t know you were on the pitch, and we’re not even playing a real match?”
Pidge tossed the quaffle from hand to hand, taunting him. “Except only Quidditch players are allowed on the pitch.”
“Well, no need to rub it in,” he grumbled.
“Oh,” she realized. She passed him back the ball. “You’re going to try out for the team. Let me guess - going for Chaser?”
“What gave it away?” he asked cheekily.
“You know, I’m no Keeper, but I’m fast and I can catch well enough. You want some help?”
“Why would a Ravenclaw Seeker help someone get on the Slytherin team?”
“Maybe I want to do some damage to the opposition.”
“Pidge!” He whined.
She laughed. “You gotta learn to take a joke, Lance. I want to help you because I’m bored and you’re my friend. Any other stupid questions?”

Plance Hogwarts AU: Part 5
I have a random question, but in your opinion what would Pidge wear to the Yule ball? Im super curious lol
Year Five:
“Stupid Loverboy. Stupid ball. Stupid Dance. Everything is so stupid!”
Katie paced through the garden; the air frigid cold. She was too heated to notice someone walk up behind her.
“Are you okay?” Katie turned around to face a dark-haired Gryffindor. He was leaning up against a pillar with his arms crossed.
Katie had seen him around here and there. He’d sometimes hang out with Hunk and Lance. She heard rumors that he was pretty hot-headed and has gotten to a few fights in his time being here.
“Well, I mean…” Katie stuttered over her words, the cold finally getting to her.
He walked over to her, “Here.” He draped his jacket over her shoulders and Katie was grateful for the warmth. They stood in silence for a few minutes, until he broke the silence, “The names Keith. Do you want to talk about whatever is bothering you?”
Katie looked up at him and she was surprised to see genuine concern on his face, “Uh, yeah.” They walked over to the stairs right inside the castle away from prying eyes, “I have this friend that, well, is, I guess-“
“That you think of as more than a friend?”
Katie looked at the stranger. She felt the tears rolling down her face. Keith reached up and wiped the tears from her cheek.
“I-“
“What are you doing?”
Katie and Keith stand up quickly, “Lance…”
Lance stepped towards Katie, “I was looking all over for you. I-“ Keith stepped in front of him, “Hey!”
“You shouldn’t come any closer.”
“That’s my best friend, Mullet-Head.”
“Yeah, well you hurt her, Lover Boy.”
“Stop!”
Both boys stopped in their tracks. They turned to Katie, who was visibly crying, “Just leave me alone!”
She turned and ran down the stairs. This day had been the worst she’d had in a long time.

Pidge is a Ravenclaw
Can someone inform me of Pidge's ambitions? I seem to be having trouble thinking of any? Because finding her brother and father doesn't count. Anyone would do that. That's a noble thing to do. Other than that I'm pretty sure the only ambition she's ever mentioned was that she wanted to be a pilot?
Oh, and cunning. Someone explain to me when Pidge has been cunning? From what I can tell she brute forces her way through most problems. Maybe the way she sneaked into the Garrison could be considered cunning? Dubious. But the way she tracked down Matt using brutal threats isn't very cunning, is it? Or simple rummaging for loose change in a fountain? She's not too terribly cunning.
In fact, Pidge acts more like a Gryffindor than a Slytherin. Heck, she tackled a god-like being, for Merlin's sake.
But gentlefolk
Pidge is a fucking Ravenclaw
Curiosity and intelligence, a willingness to learn, those are the qualities that define a green paladin. Pidge has always been interested in, above else, the knowledge she's come across. Whether pondering the excellence of the engineers that built the castle or using her mind to directly program plants with the Olkari.
Pidge is inquisitive and innovative and should not be put in Slytherin just because her armor matches the robes, alright?
She's a Ravenclaw.

Slytherin Pidge
I strongly believe that Pidge would be in Slytherin. While everybody would think shes in Ravenclaw because she's smart but she was so freaking devoted to finding Matt and her dad that I just think she should be in Slytherin because she's clever, ambitious, and would honestly be the best in Slytherin.
She would most definitely be welcomed into the Ravenclaw tower and have study sessions and debates with them.
She would also be edgy with her house but would discuss ways to get away with murder with both Slytherin and Ravenclaw just because they're all bored.
She would do experiments with Hunk and Lance from Hufflepuff and make the best pranks. Her being buds with Shiro and Keith in Gryffindor despite the rivalry between the houses and the comments they get on being friends.
Matt being a proud brother in Ravenclaw and often joining in on pranks and late night study sessions.

My current favourite thing about VLD is that the four human paladins all fit into a different hogwarts house.
Lance being a Slytherin, Pidge being a Ravenclaw, Hunk being a Hufflepuff, and Keith being a Gryffindor.
the fact that the au makes Keith and Lance automatic rivals due to their houses is just an added benefit.
