Had it not been for Jinx accidentally blowing up the Kiramman's apartment building Jayce and Viktor might've never partnered together to discover hextech. Their hextech discovery made the Kiramman's even more wildly rich than they already were (we all saw that scrpyscraper in the timeskip).
And in that same vein had Jinx NOT murdered all those enforcers and Cassandra, Caitlyn might've never become the Sheriff of Piltover or met Vi. So in a way, Jinx has been a net positive on Caitlyn's life, and Caitlyn should thank her for making her life the way it ...*finds cover from sniper fire* is.

I think some inherent comfort of the party’s relationship, of why they’re so tightly knit and wholesome, is that it’s kinda the embodiment of "people that care for each other unconditionally, so much so that you could be the biggest freak on Earth and they would still not turn their back to you". Like, Laios’ whole character arc is that he was scared of others and their judgement, that he should hide a big part of himself and his interests to be tolerated if not accepted… But showing himself to others was the road through which the party bonded and got closer, and by the end of the story Laios literally turns into his monster because it was his biggest wish and everyone sees it and also he eats his human body a lot. After that he runs to the woods and is so scared of everyone not wanting to see him again, but y’know what. It’s fine his party still loves him, and aghhhh ouch my heart
I think also, Izutsumi was central to the party having a found family feel. The party was mostly made of work colleagues acquaintances, but adopting a stray/teenager that has no one on the way in your grand adventure really makes the whole family vibe skyrocket.

Busting in here like the Kool-aid Man. Okay, so, you know all those posts about JGY being put "in a dilemma" by the principle of filial piety? And that asking him to do literally anything about jgs would have made him an unfilial son? I really really really don't think that Chinese filial piety extends to helping your parents commit literal murder? As an Asian myself (though not Chinese) it's more about obeying and respecting your parents in day to day life like in household matters, personal conduct and caring for them well in old age???? Not to say that it's all sunshine and roses (for example, parents traditionally having complete control over their child's marriage in a lot of cultures, and ofc there's lots of sexism) but um. Not murder lol
Ah yes, poor little Meng Yao, so caught in the net of filial piety that he *checks notes* serial murders women of his mother’s profession, imprisons one of his mother’s only true friends that also protected him as a child, and murders his own father in a plot so unsavory so as to dissuade anyone from looking too deeply into the death. Definitely a man tortured by the opposition of “filial piety” and “being a decent fucking human being.”

god I'm still not over the fact that armand didn't care!!!! like he didn't fucking care even slightly and sure he pretended like it to the point he probably even convinced himself that there was nothing he could do but its the way he barely looked at claudia and couldn't be bothered to even try and hear her last words and he stops an entire theatre from saying death for louis but can't even spare the energy to make them even *think* about not calling for claudias death its the way he lets himself be stopped by sam who he had licking the floor to clean it its the way he's a 500 year old vampire and can't be bothered to do anything more than 🥺 as claudia dies in front of him

Artanis: You don't think I can fight because I'm a girl!
Vilkas: No, I don't think you can fight because you're wearing a dress. For what it's worth, I don't think Farkas could fight in that dress either.
Farkas: Perhaps not. But I would look fantastic.

I want it to be chaos ngl. People thought Eris is Beron son when LoA and Helion have a hell of their own escapadies when LoA first got engaged to Beron.
And people thought Lucien is Helion son since he is born short of 9 month. With eris viper like toubge and sweet innocent lucient, imagine the chaos when Helion figured out Eris. Eris vanserra that he hated so much is his first born son.
Can you imagine? Compare to Lucien, Eris is older and have experienced the most abused from Beron since he is um, the first born. Lucien, at least got out of the Autumn Court.
But Eris as Helion firstborn? I live for the drama. I want Helion Thigh-Cleaver to suffer from the truth of Eris as his son. Helion wailed, cried, just suffer basically.
The drama 🫠😘
Hear me out though:
She meets Helion at a ball (when courts presumably mingled)
Beron asks LoA to marry him
She waits a year before she marries Beron (because women have autonomy in prythian lmao)
How long is a fae pregnancy?? about 10 months - almost a year - but LoA seems to be "fertile" considering she's had 7 kids when it's difficult for high fae
Helion only became high lord utm because the previous high lord was killed which means he was not super powerful when they met - and both of them were likely to be in their 20s
If LoA was pregnant with Helion's baby but betrothed to Beron, he could enact the blood duel and kill Helion quite easily
What's the best option to protect Helion, herself, AND her unborn child?
Get married to Beron and raise the child as his

Cries about JRS and JGY
Thinking. Thinking thinking. Thinking about how the novel implies JRS's death was gruesome and a public spectacle. Thinking.
Thinking about a JGY who deliberatedly neglected JRS's safety (because that's the only way I can see him having a hand on his death) being horrified and feeling sick over what his actions (or inaction in this case) lead to.
Thinking about a JGY who did not intend JRS's death and didn't do anything to cause it being just as horrified with the death of his son. Thinking about a JGY who genuinely didn't do anything wrong this time and yet it still backfired on him monumentally. Thinking about JGY being unable to sleep for days on end wondering what he could have done differently.
Thinking about JGY feeling so utterly guilty that he would take all the blame for killing him, to the point it comes across as if he did it on purpose.
Thinking about JRS being mauled in public. Thinking about JGY and QS burying and mourning what is left of their son.
THINKING! About JL watching his baby cousin! His only friend! Being brutally murdered in public!
Thinking also about the brutality JGY himself is capable of, and the low that he went into while massacring the entire sect of the culprit. Thinking about him feeling no remorse for that.
Yeah! [dies]
