Harry's fine with all the men and women that Sirius brings home. It doesn't bother him when he can hear Sirius fucking someone else through the thin walls at Grimmauld Place. And of course, he doesn't care about Sirius and Remus' past. He's not in love with them... Or maybe he is.

This fucking fic!! I've fallen down the fic trap of longform porn and I'm not sure when I'll emerge. Sirius behaves atrociously - just outrageously atrociously - as a Dom and is so incredibly compelling. I fell for him right alongside Harry. If you enjoy some degree of dirtywrong or bad BDSM but with a happy ending (but no actual formal negotiation ever), this fic is for you.

Turns out one of my favorite tropes is for a character to get aftercare from their Dom's ex because their Dom is too in their own feelings to provide it?? learn something new about yourself every day.

It's been so long since I've read a fic across multiple days and spent all day thinking about it, excited to start reading it again at night, and this delicious fic absolutely delivered.

Harry/Ron, things like this fic by @writcraft and this post suggest that friends to lovers might be in fact the ultimate trope. it took me so long to get into the idea of them as a romantic ship, and even longer to start reading it because I’m picky af, but after I did they started living rent free in my head and there’s no way back. rip liv 🤡

3. Harry/Ron/Draco because I really wanted to include a triad, also a bit picky about them but @tackytigerfic’s foundational Aim For My Heart punched me in the solar plexus with feelings (ugh!!!), and I can’t really resist the pull now that @dronarryfest exists. I’ll take this chance to also mention my love for Dron which has superb fics like this and this, a really fun and refreshing ship with its own brand of humor and angst.

4. Harry/Sirius, look I’m a simple woman with simple fandom needs and age gap covers most of them lol I don’t read it very often but I ache for the angst potential of those hotdirtywrong vibes & delicious want x guilt moral dilemma that our Sirry champion @lqtraintracks explores so well. orrr we can go the hot & sweet route and still get ruined by tender wall sex, how dare you @maesterchill

I'm Sol, and I've been in various fandoms for most of my life, though it's been a while since I was active.

My current fandom is Prongsfoot. Just Prongsfoot. And Moonchaser. Not that it has a fandom. If you see Prongsfoot in anything I do, it's *~*ROMANTIC*~* unless otherwise stated.

I've never been part of fandom Twitter/TikTok, so I missed the zeitgeist. I'm not into Wolfstar, Jegulus, Blackcest or whatever you call Snape/Sirius. I'll happily take recs if they don't include the above and aren't ATYD/ATYD-adjacent. Golden Trio-era, I'm not into Drarry, Sirry, Snarry or Tomarry, though it's been a while since I've read anything from that period.

I have many headcanons, but I tend to hew close to canon unless going full AU. Even then I try to stay close to canon personalities, as I see them.

I stan James Potter, sorry not sorry.

I'm posting fic again, here's my Ao3. I don't have a beta or a Britpicker and while I'd love to have one, I must struggle on without. I'll try not to use too many "howdys" or mention McDonald's every other sentence, as we Americans are wont to do, but consider this a warning if you're sensitive to things being spelled with a 'z' instead of an 's.'

"I could be James," he says, but he cannot be, because James is dead. Though if you live too much in years gone by, the lines between the past and present - as viewed through an empty brandy glass - may soften and pool like melting wax.

Saying this is a holiday fic is a little bit like saying Die Hard is a Christmas movie, but the main action does take place over the Christmas holiday, and I associate it with that so...

These tragic, tragic, broken boys. Somehow this fic makes Sirius's death hurt even more. His despair and grief is so palpable, and this fic fits into canon in the most painful way possible. It's also really hot if you like me love fics with alcohol-fueled dub con and guilt. I just love Sirius, especially messy Sirius, so much. This fic is immersive and gutting and divinely characterized, and it hurts to revisit like pressing a bruise, and it's one of the best fics I've ever read.

So, I like to read Sirius and James fics mainly. Mostly Sirius-centric because I love him with my whole heart. And just no constantly joking, vain Sirius.

I like my Sirius with dry, cutting humor, a little this side of cruel, ruthless when crossed but can also be oh so loving and loyal to the people he loves, yeah? And also, I love a powerful Sirius. Like super badass, cunning but also horrible to people he doesn't care about.

I honestly don't care about any pairing with Sirius. I have read so many that I don't even care anymore (just it should have a good Sirius). Like I've read him with Voldemort on one end to James on the other. And everything in between. So that's all fine. Just obviously no wolfstar because that's number one for bad characterization.

I just need a good Sirius you know? That's all I want. I'd love if you've some recs but honestly your blog is my salvation right now.
