Although Remus wasn’t big on dressing up for Halloween, you absolutely adored it. Since your childhood, you always looked forward to the holiday and the tacky outfits from the spirit store down the street. Since Remus’ childhood, the holiday only reminded him that everyone found werewolves terrifying as death itself.
But you made sure to change all his horrid memories to good ones the second you met.
Over the years, you slowly coaxed Remus into dressing up and having fun on Halloween, especially when his best friends threw the Gryffindor party every year. When you began dating, the costumes you made him wear became couple costumes. Some of your favorites being Phantom of the Opera, Beauty and the Beast, and The Great Gatsby.
This year — your final year at Hogwarts — you wanted to wear something that would be talked about for years. You wanted something so spectacular that it would be remembered. Luckily, you had just the couples costume in mind.
“Remind me again, why do you need a quidditch uniform?” James threw a curious look to Remus who was currently reading Little Women, a book you made him read for entertainment purposes. “If you’re telling me you’re joining the quidditch team during your last year, I’ll go bloody mad.”
“I’m not.” Remus flicked the page and sipped on his tea beside him, glancing at James from the corner of his eye. “Just need to borrow one.”
Remus, James, and Sirius have gone through this dance about ten times. Each one ending in the talk of the latest play before James sobered up and asked about the uniform again. It was a never ending cycle of bickering.
Sirius threw a crumpled piece of plastic at Remus’ head as the painting opened up, earning a loud sigh from the boy himself. “Yeah, but why do you need to borrow one?”
“Don’t throw stuff at Remus, Black.” You huff and make your way over to the trio, flashing your loving boyfriend a smile as his hand made their way to your hip. “What did they do this time?”
“Why are you assuming we did something?”
“Yeah, we’re saints!” Sirius dropped down on the couch beside Remus, sending you an oh-so innocent smile.
You roll your eyes at him and flash him your favorite finger, “Says the devil himself.”
“Hey—!”
“They were asking why I needed a quidditch uniform.” Remus cut Sirius off before you two could argue for the nth time.
It was like you two were always fighting over him — which he had to admit — was funny to see unfold each time. Remus laced his other hand with yours and returned your attention back to him, thumb rubbing your pulse point.
“How’s your thing going?” He murmured when you sat beside him and rested your head on his shoulder, shifting his body to block Sirius from your sight.
You shrug, “Lily and I have been working on it. We’ll be done even before the holiday.”
“You two are so ominous, I don’t like it.” James shuddered, which earned a glare from you and an eye roll from Remus. “What? It’s obvious you two are planning something and not telling us.”
“Okay, well, I’m done with this conversation.” You sighed and pressed a quick kiss to Remus’ lips, looking like the love sick fool that you were. “I love you, and I’ll see you in a bit.”
You made quick steps up the girls’ dorm after Remus reciprocated the notion and left the three boys back to their dwelling.
“Why does she hate us and love you?” Sirius grumbled and popped a jelly bean into his mouth, grimacing at the flavor and spitting it out.
“Maybe because she’s dating him and not us?” James threw him an annoyed look.
Remus blocked out their bickering and went back to reading. He loved you and you loved him, and that’s all he needed to know. Besides, it was the boys who practically begged him to ask you out since first year. They knew he was smitten with you the second you both met on the train.
Eventually, James did lend Remus an unused quidditch uniform while you and Lily finished your costume for Halloween. The only thing left to do was perfect the actual look and win the couples contest.
“Hell, are you dressing up as one of our quidditch players for Halloween?” Sirius raised his brows in surprise as Remus shuffled out of the bathroom with said uniform on. “Which Gryffindor did you dress up as?”
“No one.” Remus replied in a bored manner and adjusted the leather gloves he had on. “I’m just a quidditch player.”
“Uh-huh. So you definitely didn’t dress as Prongs or I?”
“No.”
Sirius gave him an unimpressed look and shrugged on his vest for his Indiana Jones costume. “Whatever you say… Anyway, Prongs and the rest of them are already down there and I’m not waiting for you any longer if you’re going to gel your hair back.”
“Yeah, I’m going.” He grumbled and adjusted his uniform before following Sirius down the stairs and into the ongoing Halloween party.
The red lights flickered about as the music practically shook the entire room. Remus scanned the vicinity for you, struggling until Sirius almost dropped dead at the sight of you. It was the same reaction everyone had to seeing you dressed in… That.
“Holy fuck. Your girlfriend is wearing the shortest dress in existence.” Sirius gaped and earned a smack to the head from Remus.
Remus watched you dance and jump with Lily, eyes shining bright with joy when they met his. You beamed so bright and almost elbowed everyone in your way to make it to him. He caught you in his arms as you kissed him senseless, hands coming to rest on his cheeks.
“Hey, dovey.” He finally spoke when you both parted for air, thumbing your jaw softly. “You look absolutely stunning in gold.”
“Of course, I do, Rem! I’m a Gryffindor!” You laugh and eyes his outfit like he was a three course meal. “It’s interesting seeing you dressed in quidditch robes for the first time.”
“Yeah?” He continued to thumb your jaw in a doting manner. “Well if I did play, I plan on you being the snitch every game. I wouldn’t play otherwise.”
You tilt your head and meet his eyes with so much love. Now that you and Remus were standing together, your costumes made so much sense. It wasn’t just a quidditch player and a golden fairy, it was a seeker and the golden snitch. Sirius looked between the both of you before gasping and clapping his hands in realization, those around you looking over as well.
“Aren’t you two the cutest pair!” He gushed and pinched Remus’ cheek at the revelation.
Smacking Sirius’ hand away, you rested your chin on Remus’s shoulder to prevent him from doing such thing again. Remus laughed at you two and rubbed your back.
“You know, Marlene is looking for you, Siri.” You practically shout over the loud music.
“Is she?” He perked up at the mention of the girl he had been talking to recently. “Well then… I will catch up with you two later.”
You waited a little longer before laughing loudly at your own doing. Was Marlene really looking for him? No, but Sirius was always there whenever you wanted to be alone with Remus. Before you could stop laughing, Remus swatted your ass playfully in response to the poor prank.
“Hey—!” You pout jokingly, laughing again when Remus shook his head at you with an upturned smile.
As the night carried on, the crowd grew bigger, the music louder, and the drinks more alcoholic. It got to the point where you and Remus were too drunk to be the responsible ones in the group. Oddly enough, you both drank more than anyone else in the group.
However, you both won the couples costume contest and — for some reason no one could explain the next day — you decided to give a speech to the mass of Gryffindors in the common room about winning the contest. It wasn’t your proudest moment, but it was your last year.
Clambering on top of the wooden tables, you stumbled over your own legs as Remus tried to stabilize you. Lily, who was the responsible one for the night, rubbed her forehead in exasperation. She didn’t want to necessarily stop you. You were a whiny drunk, and it would be impossible to stop you from something you wanted to do.
“Wait wait — hiccup — I would like to thank the committee,” You hold your red cup close to your chest, your cheeks almost as bright as the cup. “Lily Evans — hiccup — the quidditch team, and my ever so loving boyfriend — hiccup — for making this all possible!” You throw your arms in the air, earning cheers from the crowd.
“What committee?” Sirius looked at Lily with a confused look, pointing between him and James. “Us?”
She shrugged and watched you jump down from the table, snickering when Remus nearly had a heart attack from your way of getting down. She made sure you both were okay before returning to James’ side, pointing you both out to him.
“You’re gonna be the — hiccup — death of me.” Remus tucked his head in between your neck and shoulder, nudging his nose on your exposed skin. “Don’t do that.”
“M’sorry.” You giggle and stumble slightly at the weight being put on you. “You baby.”
He kissed your cheek, “No.”
“Yeah.”
“No.” He dragged you over to the dormitory stairs. “Hi.”
You giggle and trace the scars on his face, “Hey.”
“You’re cute.” He melted into your hands and pecked your palm. “Really really cute.”
“You wanna know a secret, Rem?” You murmur and hiccup when he tugged you impossibly closer. “I promise it’s really cool.”
“What is it?” He pressed kisses everywhere he could, putting more attention to your lips.
“I love you.” You whisper against his lips and fully kiss him, the taste of firewhisky strong. “So much.”
He smiled into the kiss and parted briefly, thumbing your lip. “You want to know my secret, dovey?”
“What?” You look up and meet the hazel eyes you’ve come to love.
“I love you more.”

Could I request poly marauders x reader who was always judged at home on what she ate when she was little, and now subconsciously hides her food from the marauders (like she doesn’t even realize she’s doing it) I completely understand if you’re not comfortable doing this req!
Thanks honey!
cw: reader experiences shame around eating "bad" foods
poly!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 1k words
“You know what I could use right now?” Sirius asks about halfway through the film, right on schedule. “A little treat.”
You smile, and James hops up gamely. “I’ll see what we have,” he says. Remus chuckles as you and Sirius both turn around on the couch, watching eagerly as James goes into the kitchen. “Ice cream?” he asks, as if he doesn’t know already.
“Obviously,” Sirius confirms.
James opens the freezer. “Alright, we have rocky road…half a pint of mint chip…rum raisin—Remus, you’re an old man.” Remus shrugs with a little smile. You think that he’s probably just glad no one else wants anything to do with his flavor of choice. “Also plain vanilla, and…” James pauses, moving things aside and reaching into the back of the freezer. “...chocolate cherry. This yours, angel?”
You’d forgotten you’d bought that. “Yeah,” you tell him, “but it’s open to everyone, of course.”
James sends you an odd look. “Why’d you have it back behind the frozen peas?”
“I didn’t know it was back there,” you say with a shrug. “I just put things there automatically, I guess.”
There’s a crinkling sound as James moves more bags of frozen vegetables aside. “There’s also a box of thin mints and an ice cream sandwich.”
“Ooh, can I have that?” Sirius asks, giving you a pleading look.
You smile at him. “Course you can. And Jamie, would you bring me the chocolate cherry, please?”
James still has a funny look on his face as he shuts the freezer, bringing you and Sirius your frozen treats. You turn around once he hands it to you, finding Remus watching you with a similar expression.
“What?” you ask, popping the lid off your ice cream. James squishes between you and Sirius, the four of you barely fitting on the couch.
Remus looks like he’s turning something over in his head. “Why was all that back behind the frozen vegetables, love?”
You shrug, happily sucking ice cream off your spoon. “I dunno. I just put it there, I guess.”
“It just…” Remus shrugs, and he’s wearing that tiny smile he does when he’s trying to make light of something he doesn’t consider light at all. You tilt your head bemusedly. “It makes it seem like you were trying to hide them or something.”
“She’s always hiding food,” Sirius says airily, munching on his dessert. “Like the oreos behind the soup cans.” You all look at him, and he stops chewing. “Was that not something we all knew?”
“I don’t…I didn’t think I was hiding anything.” You cross your arms, feeling defensive without really knowing why. There’s a whole number of things you don’t know about yourself, apparently.
“It’s alright, darling,” Remus says soothingly, placing a hand on your thigh, “just so long as you don’t think you have to hide anything from us.”
“I don’t,” you say, but you’re looking at your lap and your face feels hot. You don’t, right? Why would you?
“Sorry for calling you out like that, babe,” Sirius says through a mouthful. “I figured it was intentional, and you just didn’t want us to eat your food. Nobody here cares what you eat, y’know.”
“I know,” you promise him. “I guess…I just get a little embarrassed sometimes. Like, if I pig out, I don’t want everyone to know because suddenly a whole box of oreos is gone or whatever.”
“First of all, as if we would even notice,” James scoffs, giving you a friendly shake by the shoulder. “And second, it’s like Sirius said—we don’t care what you eat, sweetheart. Or how much of it. If you want to eat a box of oreos, that’s your business. That’s not even that many oreos.” He shakes his head like you’re silly. “No one’s going to judge you for it.”
It’s not surprising to hear him say that, and yet you can’t make yourself believe it’s true. Your boyfriends may not say anything about your eating habits—to your face or even to each other—but there’s no way that if they knew every detail, they wouldn’t think it was shameful.
“Also,” Remus says, arching an eyebrow, “I don’t love the phrase ‘pig out.’ There’s nothing wrong with having a treat—”
“Duh,” Sirius cuts in, toasting with his half-eaten ice cream sandwich.
“—and you shouldn’t feel like you have to hide things like that from us,” Remus finishes with a nod to appease Sirius. “If you don’t mind me asking, did you put your food in hiding places before you moved in with us?”
You gnaw on your lip as you think back to pints of ice cream stowed in the ice cube dispenser when you lived at home, eating before your parents got back from work and quickly putting it away again when you heard cars approaching. Back then, you’d hidden dishes in your room too, evidence of food you knew wouldn’t be approved of crusted onto plates and bowls you were keeping stashed there until you could wash them without anyone noticing.
“I guess so,” you say, and you can feel Remus’ eyes on yours but can’t bring yourself to meet them. You don’t know whether your shame is for your love of junk food or the odd habit of secrecy you’ve fallen into because of it. It might be both. “I used to do it when I lived at home, but I didn’t realize I was doing it here.”
“That’s alright, sweetheart,” James says hastily, panicking in the face of your solemn change in mood. “So long as you know we don’t care, it’s not like you hiding it is hurting anyone.”
“It’s hurting me,” Sirius protests. “We had ice cream sandwiches, and I had no idea!”
You laugh, and James visibly relaxes. “Alright, I’ll try to stop putting things way in the back so that you can find them. I’m not trying to hoard, I swear.”
“Keeping all the good stuff for yourself.” Sirius shakes his head at you. “That sweet face hides some pretty selfish tendencies, huh?”
“Actually, could I grab a few of your oreos?” Remus asks before you and Sirius can really get into it. “That sounds pretty good right now.”
“Yes!” you say. “Yes, please, have as many as you want. Sorry I kept them to myself, it wasn’t on purpose.”
James takes your jaw in a big hand, pressing a slobbery smooch to your cheek. “You’re forgiven, sweetpea.” He raises his eyebrows. “If I can have some of those thin mints.”

bad girls do it the best
james potter x female!reader
warning: mentions of smut.
summary: everyone secretly likes a bad girl, even the golden boy.
a/n: i wrote this in a hurry without proofreading so yay! I'm sorry if this is cringe, i just thought of it.
Tumblr media
James hurried through to detention; he was five minutes late. He had forgotten that he had gotten in trouble for setting off a firework in the middle of OWL'S.
It wasn't even his fault; somehow, the firework ended up in the classroom; it's not like he placed it.
Of course, that was a lie, but he was the only one who got in trouble, not Sirius or Peter. Remus didn't have any part in it because he takes his studies "seriously," It still wasn't fair.
He entered the classroom immediately; there was only him and a group of Slytherin girls, you included. He hated to admit it, but you scared him.
It's not like you were violent.
Well, that was untrue.
You had beaten a girl in your house for sleeping with your ex-boyfriend. It was one of the most notorious things James had seen throughout his years.
Tumblr media
James remembered envying the ex-boyfriend because you were one of the hottest girls in his year, and you knew it. Even with the way you sat in front of him, ass on the desk with your legs crossed and a smirk on your face.
You might've been "bad," but you still got good grades and were one the best witches in your year. You never made fun of good people and only made fun of people who did it to others.
You only disrespected a professor if they disrespected you first.
And you never believed in blood supremacy or house, and your family was well known for not being with the Dark Lord.
So why couldn't James talk to you?
"What's up with the stare, Potter?" One of your friends had said, James almost shitting his pants.
"There is n-no stare," James stuttered, causing the girls to laugh.
"Do you have a fucking problem?" Another girl asked, "You think you're allowed to stare at Y/n?" She threatened, cracking her knuckles.
James had never had a girl scare him so bad. He had never wished for a teacher to appear so fast.
You waved your hand to your friend to stop her actions, "Aw, don't scare the puppy," You snickered. Your friend immediately sat back down.
"What are you doing here, Potter?" You asked, teeth flashing in your smile.
"I got in trouble for lighting a firework in the middle of OWL's," He swallowed, wiping the sweat off his forehead.
Was it hot in here, or was he just nervous?
You tsked, "What a bad boy," You said, causing all of your friends to laugh as James did an awkward one.
"Wanna know what I did?" You asked him as he hesitated.
You raised your eyebrow as he nodded eagerly, "Y-Yes, I wanna know,"
"Well," You stood, "I got caught giving the most mindblowing blowjob to Professor Binns," You walked closer to him as he gulped. You smirked, "I'm just joking; I got caught sneaking out of the castle,"
He exhaled as your face was extremely close to his, "Did that make you nervous, Potter?" You asked, pouting.
The rest of your friends laughed as James looked like a deer in headlights.
Suddenly, you put your hand inside his pocket as he moaned surprisingly, causing snickers from your friends. You pulled out a lollipop that James had gotten from the nurse earlier.
Pulling the sucker into your mouth, it was cherry flavored.
Professor McGonagall came in at the sight of this with a sigh, "Ms. L/n, please take a seat,"
You smiled, sitting down with the sucker in your mouth as James sat down, hiding his bulge.
"As all of you know, this is your punishment and NOT a day at the Quidditch field," McGonagall looked at James, "Nor a day at Three Broomsticks," She looked at you as you blew her a kiss, "You may read or write, but I want absolutely no talking." She instructed.
"Yes, Professor McGonagall," Your entire friend group said in perfect unison.
McGonagall gave one stern look to your group before sighing and sitting in her chair.
James tried to not look at you but couldn't help himself. You were something he never even thought would look at him. It wasn't only confidence but your whole entire being.
Suddenly, you tilted your head to the right, and James heard the loud telephone beside McGonagall ring, causing her to put down her book.
You smirked toward your friend before McGonagall spoke, "I have to take care of something; all of you are to be on your best behavior until I come back!" She demanded, giving a stern look to all of you.
She rushed out of the room as your friends got up to guard the door.
"Thirty minutes," You said to your friend as she nodded, going outside the door.
"W-What's going on?" James asked as you approached him.
"I've always wanted to fuck the golden boy, you know that?" You said as James's face turned tomato red.
"What?" He asked, gripping his seat.
"Don't play dumb, Potter," You smiled, getting on your knees in front of his chair, "Ever since I saw you, I always wanted to taste good in you,"
He couldn't believe this was happening.
"But-" He hesitated.
You frowned, "You don't wanna fuck me?" You asked, "Do you think I'm ugly?" You played with him.
"No, no!" He almost yelled, "You're fucking gorgeous, but I don't know if this is a good idea."
"Haven't you ever just wanted to taste something bad?" You asked, palming his bulge as he closed his eyes and groaned, "I promise it tastes so good,"
He wanted you more than he ever wanted anything in his entire life.
He ran his hands through the sides of your hair, kissing you passionately as you returned it eagerly, removing his belt.
"Tell me what you want," You moaned.
"I wanna see your tits," He whispered in your neck, sucking bruises on it as you pulled your shirt over your head, your tits bouncing out.
He squeezes your boobs immediately, leaning down to suck on the bud of your nipples. You moaned, pulling down his pants with his boxers.
He was bigger than any guy you had seen in growth and length; you had no idea how he would fit inside you.
You pushed him back from your boobs, the harsh air on your nipples causing them to rise.
You sucked the tip of his cock, him groaning as you swirled your tongue around his tip, looking him in the eyes.
You could feel the wetness in your panties just by looking at his pleasure which gave you pleasure.
You took him in entirely, gagging on him as you grabbed your hair in a ponytail from getting in your mouth. You started going faster as James was finding it hard to control himself, about to come in your mouth.
"I'm gonna- fuck," James warned before cumming in your mouth as you swallowed it like a champ.
He had gotten hard again that very second.
You smirked, swallowing the rest, "Open your mouth," James said as you obeyed, sticking your tongue out as he spit in your mouth as you swallowed it.
"You wanna fuck me?" You grinned, standing up.
James couldn't believe you were real, "I wanna taste you," He said as if in a trance.
You giggled, "We don't have enough time,"
"I don't care," He grunted, kissing you deeply as he laid your back on the desk and ground into you.
He ripped off your panties as you gasped into his mouth before he laid kisses down your breasts to your cunt, feasting.
You moaned loudly as he sucked on your clit, causing you to almost scream.
He shoved his tongue inside you, making you put your hand on your mouth as he looked up at you.
He lifted off your cunt, "Don't cover your mouth; I wanna hear you slut," He demanded
You had no idea James Potter was capable of having a dirty mouth.
You did as he said, trying to control your sounds to not let anyone hear. He was attacking your cunt like no one had ever done, girl or boy.
He genuinely enjoyed this as he stroked himself while eating you out.
Once he saw you were close, he put a finger inside you, causing you to go overstimulated.
You came there, and then as your release was all over his mouth. He rose off your cunt, kissing you on the mouth, "Taste yourself," He breathly said, putting his finger in your mouth.
You sucked on his finger, doing as he asked. He gave you one last kiss before you both heard two knocks on the door.
That was the signal that McGonagall was coming.
You and he put your clothes on quickly as you moved back to your side, sitting down before your friends and McGonagall entered the classroom.
You could hear McGonagall berating your friends for being outside before she rushed in and looked at you and James.
You both tried your best to be completely normal, and it was fooling McGonagall.
"Glad to know at least two students followed my tasks!" She said as all your friends sat down, and you smiled at James.
An hour passed before McGonagall let you all go as you slipped in a note in James's pocket with a kiss on his cheek.
Meet me in my dorm after Potions tomorrow.
And James had never felt so lucky in his entire life.

Ice cream
Remus Lupin x gn!reader
Microfic - 182 words
cw: fluff
“Remus, what kind of ice cream do you want?” you ask, standing in front of the wall of ice cream tubs in the grocery store.
He strolls up behind you, placing his hands on your shoulder and then resting his chin on top of them.
“That’s a question? Chocolate, obviously.”
“Just plain chocolate? Of all the chocolate variants, you want normal?”
He ponders your questioning for a moment.
“Maybe the chocolate with the fudge swirl then?”
You laugh. “What about the chocolate with fudge swirl and chunks of chocolate?”
You don’t need to see his face to know that his eyes went wide with excitement.
“They have that?” His voice is ecstatic.
You move from under his hands toward the freezer door. You select the tub and hold it out for Remus to see.
“If you weren’t so set in stone about regular chocolate, we could’ve been living like kings a while ago.”
“Grab three more. I have Sirius’ card. He can pay.”
You cackle as you grab more ice cream. Maybe you created a monster when introducing Remus to new flavors.

Ah hello~ :3 I heard you were looking for requests and uh I got an idea but its Remus x reader :"3 if that's alright?
So the idea is... Remus has this chocolate thing right? And he knows everyone's favorite chocolates... But no one knows his. Reader (who is a Ravenclaw) observes him and realizes what his favorite flavor is :3. So she first tries it by leaving a stash of it on his book in the library one day to which Remus LOVES. Then... Idk you do the rest 😅 I want them to interact in the end tho 🤧 like he discovers or like she gets caught dunno aha
Pomegranate chocolate | Remus Lupin x reader
LOVED this idea had to start writing as soon as I could, hope you enjoy this’
fluff
You had always had a crush on Remus. While everyone seemed to be lusting over Sirius’s bad boy vibe, or falling for James’s outgoing behaviour, you had always found Remus’s calmness endeavouring and kind of intimidating at the same time.
You never were the one to initiate things, could barely speak to people you didn’t know, but this time, you wished you could. You wished you could just tap Remus’s shoulder and introduce yourself like every other girl in Hogwarts did. You wished you could have his attention, even for just a few seconds, even if it meant being made fun of. But you couldn’t.
So, you kept on watching him like a stalker. You knew that it was creepy, and kind of out of character for you, but having a crush on the same person for three years straight makes you do crazy things. You knew his favourite book because he always seemed to read it in the library, at least once a month. You knew his favourite classes and his least favourite ones by noticing if he was there or if he was skipping them to go smoking in the astronomy tower. You knew his favourite chocolate, of course, and you noticed that it had been a while since he last bought it. Every time he went to Honeydukes, he came back with his friends’ favourite chocolates, never his, and it seemed quite sad.
That explained why you were now standing in front of the cashier, three stashes of pomegranate dark chocolate piled in your hands, sheepishly handing them over, your face the one of a thief who had just been caught.
You didn’t even know what to do with them, you didn’t know Remus, you couldn’t just come up to him with his favourite type of chocolate like a desperate schoolgirl, begging for attention. You just knew you wanted him to be happy, you wanted to see the scars above his lip crinkle, his eyes light up, and that cute little dimple showing, knowing it was you who made him that happy.
You walked back to the library, bag secured, and looked inside from shelving unit. It was then that you spotted Remus leaving, probably going to smoke, as he always did. You looked around: no one was there, it was Saturday night, after all. Slowly, you got up from your hiding spot, positioning the chocolate on his book; you didn’t stop at that, though: you picked up one of his pens and draw a little heart on a piece of paper, positioning it right above the sweet treat.
You weren’t  stupid, you knew he couldn’t know it was you who draw that heart, still you wanted to accompany the gift with some type of card. You decided to go back to your dorm, staying in your hiding spot would have been to risky.
What you didn’t see was Remus reaction to your little surprise. As soon as he saw the little heart, immediately knew it was you, his little obsession. He smiled down at the gift, finally you were showing him some interest. He had been making everything in his power to get you to like him back: looking at you in class just to see your cheeks becoming the sweetest shade of red, spotting you on the bleachers during practice only to use the hem of his jersey to wipe his face, showing his six pack. His heart swelled: he was going to make you his sooner than he expected. A plan slowly started to take form in his head.
Tumblr media
After a week, you still had two other boxes to give to Remus. You decided to leave one of them in front of his locker during Quidditch practice, and the other one on his desk right before potions. Every time you gave him the sweet treat, you always draw an heart on the box, just so he knew that it was the same person who decided to gift him his favourite candy.
When he came back from his smoking break, you watched as he looked down at his desk, his face lighting up as he saw the chocolates, making your lips curl into a little grin. What you didn’t expect, though, was for him to be looking around, spotting you. In mere seconds you had become redder than the sweetest cherry, you looked down, praying he didn’t see your reddened cheeks from across the room, sprinting once the bell rang.
You decided to spend your day in your dorm room, too afraid of running into him. Sure, he couldn’t be knowing that you had a massive crush on him, right? You had been so careful, he couldn’t have seen you. You heard a knock on the door, and as you went to open it, right under your eyes were five boxes of white raspberry chocolate, your favourite.
No one had ever gifted you anything before, and no one knew your taste in chocolate, so that left you kind of surprised.
You gasped loudly, and then you saw Remus coming out from a corner, making you nearly faint.
“I know what you did” He was smirking down at you, the height difference making you feel even more powerless. You decided to play it off.
“And what did I do now, Lupin?” He chuckled, one of his hands coming to cup your cheek, making your false bravado fall as fast as it came.
“You gifted me chocolate. Three boxes, to be more specific. Always with those little cute hearts. My favourite type of chocolate, no one knows what my favourite type of chocolate is, but you do. My smart girl” He was staring into your eyes, his hand preventing you from looking away, even if you wanted to. “My question is, why?”
“Could ask you the same question, Lupin. No one knows my favourite type of chocolate, either.” He chuckled.
“I know why I did it. I really like you, Y/N, have been sporting a massive crush on you for a while. Are you insinuating that you feel the same about me?”
Your mouth opened, you widened your eyes. He was kidding you, this must have been a joke. “I- Is this some type of marauder prank? Because I’m not falling for it, Lupin, take your spiked chocolate away from me”
“You’re so cute when you get mad” He caressed your cheek with his thumb, his face now dangerously close to yours. “I mean what I said, you know that?” He whispered, right above your lips.
“How did you know it was me, though?”
He smiled. “You always draw those little hearts on your books while you read them. Been observing you for a while now, I could swear there isn’t one of your books who has blank margins.”
Your heart swelled. The idea that he had been as obsessed with you as you were with him making you dizzy. You reached up for his collar, pulling him close to you, pecking his lips. He groaned loudly, his hands gripping your hips as he devoured your mouth, while you reciprocated the kiss with as much fervour.
After a while, you took a big breath, pulling away from the kiss. He licked his lips, making you blush once again. “So, Friday night at Hogsmade? How does that sound?”
“Good” You pulled him once again close to you, afraid he would vanish in thin air if you didn’t.

━━ ✦ pairing(s): marauders, lily, marlene and regulus x fem! reader
━━ ✦ warning: kissing
━━ ✦ word count: 1.3k
author's note: lets just pretend they have a high tolerance or theyre a lil affected by it cuz i forgot to write it down there 😭. btw sirius and reggie r on good terms here and also — ITS DANE DEEHAN'S PETER AND I CANNOT NOT ADD HIM WHEN HE'S HOT 😭😭😭😭
Tumblr media
THE MARAUDERS, a few other friends, and you gathered in the common room, forming a circle for a muggle game Lily called "Never Have I Ever." The concept piqued your interest; it was something entirely new to you and sounded like you would have a good time especially when you heard how the game works.
But before that you, Sirius, Peter, and Lily went to the kitchens to take some snacks, glasses, and a few bottles of firewhisky for this and went back to the common room where the others were waiting and circled.
Lily initiated the round, her eyes scanning each person in the circle. "Never have I ever," she began, a mischievous glint in her eyes, "tasted the poop flavor in Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans." Laughter erupted as James, Remus, and a few others reached for the firewhisky and took a drink. Sirius and you couldn't help but burst into laughter too, sympathizing with their unfortunate experiences.
"It was bloody awful! Feels like I was gobbling up Pads' poop by mistake." James wrinkled his nose, wincing as the firewhisky blazed its way down his throat. Sirius burst into laughter, but his chuckles abruptly halted as James' comment hit his ears and you choked on your saliva. With a flushed face, Sirius playfully smacked James on the back, eliciting a groan from him. "Fuck."
The empty glasses clinked as they were refilled, the game continuing with fervor. Seated next to Lily, Marlene was thinking of what to ask. "Never have I ever lost my chocolate frog and found it in front of a teacher." Peter drank his firewhisky.
"I remember this!" You exclaimed with a chuckle, clutching a treacle tart. "Peter lost his chocolate frog while going inside the castle from Hogsmeade and tried to go after it only for it to end up in Professor McGonagall's palms. Then, she gave it to Peter and Peter ate it after brushing the dirt away."
Remus took his turn, a playful glint in his eyes. "Never have I ever been caught by Filch while out of bed after curfew." The Marauders, excluding Remus and including you, raised their glasses to their lips, taking hearty swigs of firewhisky.
Lily's eyebrows arched curiously, her gaze shifting toward you. "Even you, Y/N?" You shrugged with a sheepish grin, caught in the act. "What were you up to?"
You intended to avoid the question, but Marlene piped up, unable to resist the urge to share, "Oh, it's either she's setting up pranks with them," She gestured towards the infamous Black and Potter duo, who responded with knowing smirks, "Or she's engaged in some secret snogging rendezvous with Black."
"Which Black are we talking about here?" You countered mischievously, casting an amused glance at both brothers.
"Both," Marlene replied with an air of nonchalance, earning a round of chuckles from the group, a coughing Regulus, and a shock i-don't-know-what-to-say-i-feel-betrayed Sirius.
The blonde female had frequently stumbled upon them in rather compromising situations. On various occasions, it happened to be you and Regulus emerging from a cupboard, catching Marlene on her way to class. The sight of you and the younger boy with tousled hair, swollen lips, and flushed cheeks was hard to miss. Marlene also vividly remembered the time she stumbled upon you and Sirius, who were well on their way to shagging, both only partially clothed and entangled on the bed. Fortunately — for Marlene's case — she barged in before all the rest of their garments were thrown on the floor and preventing further embarrassment.
Honestly, who could really blame her? It wasn't her decision to conduct such activities within a shared dorm room, where other roommates also resided.
Marlene's cheeks heated as memories replayed in her mind. She shook her head, murmuring, "It's a traumatic experience."
Seated between you and Remus, Sirius wore a knowing smirk, mischief glinting in his eyes. Your heart fluttered as you felt a tinge of nervousness, his transparent mischievousness making you uneasy. "Never…" He began, his words causing a slight stumble in your breath as he continued, "have I ever kissed Y/N." Once more, you found yourself momentarily taken aback, a surprised reaction escaping you.
Sirius' gaze swept across the group, his smirk growing as he met each person's eyes, enjoying their reactions. With a feeling of delightfulness, he snatched the bottle of firewhisky and took a victorious swig. Nearby, Regulus raised an eyebrow, his amusement detached yet evident, as he took a casual sip of his own firewhisky. "Just u—" He began, his sentence left hanging in the air, a smirk curving his lips.
Lily roll her eyes and playfully retort, "Trying to embarrass everyone now, are we? Well, I can't say I'm surprised. Cheers to your boldness, I suppose." She then took a sip of her firewhisky, shaking her head with a mix of amusement and annoyance at Sirius' antics.
"Wait a second — everyone?" Sirius exclaimed, his tone a mix of disbelief and amusement. Marlene couldn't contain herself and erupted into laughter, finding the situation utterly comical. With a gleeful grin, she grabbed the firewhisky and took a big gulp. "Even McKinnon? Seriously, Y/N, how did you do it?" Sirius continued, his smirk growing wider.
Observing the scene, Remus couldn't help but roll his eyes playfully, his expression a blend of exasperation and fondness. He reached for his firewhisky and took a measured sip, his gaze briefly locking with yours.
You nonchalantly replied. "She was asking me to teach her how to kiss — who am I to refuse?" Peter let out a nervous chuckle and take a small sip of firewhisky.
As Sirius noticed the sip Peter took, his eyebrows arched mischievously. He glanced at you and exchanged an amused look with Lily. Lily, her curiosity piqued, raised an eyebrow and inquired, "Even Peter?" Her surprise was evident, the corners of her lips twitching in a mixture of astonishment and amusement.
All eyes turned to James, who met their gaze with an intrigued quirk of his eyebrow. His gaze then shifted to you, his lips curling into a mischievous grin as he leaned back in his chair. "Looks like I've fallen a bit behind, haven't I?" he mused, a glint of determination lighting up his eyes.
In a flash, he rose from his seat, a confident swagger in his step as he dropped down to one knee in front of you. His presence felt magnetic as he leaned closer, his hand gently cupping your cheek, and before you could fully process the moment, his lips met yours in a quick, playful kiss.
The room was filled with a collective gasp as all eyes turned to both of you as James pulled back, a triumphant smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. James then took the bottle of firewhisky from Sirius and chugged the remaining liquid down.
A mixture of shock, amusement, and admiration swept across their faces. Lily's jaw dropped slightly and twitching into an amused smile. Remus's eyebrows shot up, his usual composed demeanor momentarily replaced by astonishment. Sirius's playful grin widened into genuine surprise, and even Peter seemed momentarily stunned, his mouth hanging open. Marlene let out an excited whoop, her surprise quickly turning into enthusiastic cheers. Regulus raised an eyebrow, a subtle flicker of being taken aback swept across his features.
James' smirk softened into a warm grin as he glanced at you, his eyes locking onto yours for a heartbeat before he turned back to the others. "Honestly, Prongs." You stated recovering from your surprised state with a fond smile tugging on your lips.
A mischievous glint danced in Marlene's eyes as she playfully nudged Sirius with her elbow. "Seems like you're not the only one stealing the show tonight, Black."
A warm chuckle rumbled from Remus as he shook his head, a genuine fondness reflecting in his gaze. "You've outdone yourself, Prongs."
Even Regulus's typically stoic expression softened, a subtle twitch at the corner of his mouth betraying his amusement. "Quite the move," he conceded.

The flickering candlelight danced on the stone walls of Severus Snape's private chambers, casting long shadows that intertwined like the tangled emotions within the room. YN Black, professor of herbology and Sirius Black's sister stood, by the small window, her silhouette framed against the night sky, her heart racing as she felt Severus’s presence behind her. The warmth of his breath brushed her neck, sending shivers down her spine.
“Are you sure this is wise?” he murmured, his voice low, laced with a hint of concern. He reached out, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers lingering against her skin.
“Wise? No,” she replied, turning to face him, her eyes bright with mischief. “But it feels right.” She stepped closer, the distance between them collapsing as she leaned into him. The world outside faded, leaving just the two of them, enveloped in the cocoon of secrecy that their love had woven amidst the chaos of the wizarding world.
Severus’s lips curled into a ghost of a smile, a rare sight that made YN’s heart swell. “You are a reckless woman,” he teased softly, but his voice betrayed the warmth he felt for her. She knew he would never admit it, but his heart was as entwined with hers as the roots of the mandrakes they tended to in Herbology class.
“Only for you,” she whispered, and then she closed the gap between them, tasting the bittersweet flavor of passion and danger on his lips. They melted into a kiss, a moment of stolen bliss that felt both electrifying and forbidden.
But as the summer sun began to rise, so did the reality that awaited them.
---
The stone walls of 12, Grimmauld Place echoed with the tension of the gathering Order members. Flickering candles cast dancing shadows across the room, illuminating the faces of those present, each marked by the weight of their shared burden. At the head of the table, Albus Dumbledore sat, his eyes twinkling behind his half-moon spectacles, while Sirius Black paced restlessly nearby, hands shoved deep into his pockets.
“Snape hasn’t changed, Albus,” Sirius insisted, his voice rising, a stark contrast to the calm ambiance. “He’s still a Death Eater at heart. We can’t trust him!”
“Enough, Black,” Severus Snape retorted, his voice low and edged with disdain. He leaned back in his chair, dark robes pooling around him like shadows. “I have proven my loyalty time and again. Your inability to see beyond your own prejudice is your weakness.”
“Prejudice? You call it prejudice when I refuse to trust a man who would sell his own soul for a chance at power?” Sirius shot back, fists clenching at his sides. “You are a coward and always will be, Snivellus!”
The tension in the room thickened, and Yn, seated quietly at the far end, felt her heart race. As a professor of Herbology, she had spent years cultivating patience and understanding, but the childish bickering between her brother and Severus was grating on her last nerve.
“Enough!” Yn’s voice rang out, firm and clear. She rose from her seat, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders like a waterfall, catching the candlelight. “This is not the time or place for your petty squabbles. We have far more important matters to discuss.”
Sirius shot her a glare, eyes narrowing. “You’re on his side now? You don’t even know what he is capable of!”
“Actually, I do.” The words slipped out before she could stop them, and the room fell silent, a collective breath held in anticipation.
“What do you mean by that?” Sirius asked, voice low and dangerous.
With a sudden rush of courage—or perhaps foolishness—Yn took a step closer to Severus, her heart in her throat. “Because Severus and I are…dating.” The admission hung in the air like a spell that had gone wrong, the shock palpable.
Gasps echoed around the room. But Dumbledore merely raised an eyebrow, as if he had expected this revelation. Sirius’s face twisted in disbelief, anger radiating off him in waves.
“You’re joking,” he breathed, a harsh laugh escaping his lips. “You cannot be serious, Yn. You’re dating him? That—”
“Is none of your business!” she snapped, feeling the heat of her brother’s gaze like a physical blow. “I’m not a child, Sirius. I can make my own choices.”
“This monster has hurt many people before, and you think he’s changed, what makes you think he won't hurt you just as well?” Sirius’s voice trembled with a mixture of fury and heartbreak. “I won’t allow it!”
“Allow it?” Yn’s voice cracked, her emotions spilling over. “Who do you think you are to dictate my life? To tell me who I can and cannot love?”
“Love? You call this love?” Sirius spat, his face pale with anger. “You’re putting yourself in danger. He’s playing you, Yn!”
“Enough!” Severus interjected, his voice colder than the winter winds. “This is between Yn and me. You will not speak to her as if she was a child.”
“The problem is you’re not just some charming suitor—” Sirius shot back, but Yn stepped in, her heart racing.
“He's right, I’m not a child, Sirius!” she yelled, tears brimming in her eyes. “I know you just wanna protect me, espicially after what happened to Regulus, but I can take care of myself!”
The mention of her lost brother struck a chord, and the room fell silent again, the weight of grief settling heavily upon them. Sirius’s eyes softened momentarily, but his anger flared back to life.
“You’re making a mistake! I won’t stand by and watch you ruin your life!”
“Ruin my life?” Yn’s voice cracked, the tears finally spilling down her cheeks. “You've spent most of your life in Azkaban because you chose revenge, you don’t know anything about me or what I want!”
With that, she turned on her heel, storming out of the room. Her footsteps echoed in the hall, a stark reminder of the conflict left unresolved.
Sirius stared after her, guilt gnawing at him. The last time he had seen his sister cry was when Regulus died, and the memory twisted in his chest like a knife. But pride held him back; he didn’t want to admit he was wrong.
“Leave her be, Sirius,” Dumbledore said softly, his voice filled with understanding. “She needs time.”
“Time? She’s with him!” Sirius snapped, gesturing toward Severus. “What if he hurts her? I won’t let that happen!”
Severus, who had remained silent through most of the confrontation, felt a flicker of something akin to guilt. He hadn’t meant for this to happen. He hadn’t wanted to cause a rift between the siblings.
“I’ll speak to her,” he said, rising from his chair.
“Not without my permission,” Sirius warned, eyes fierce.
“Enough!” Dumbledore interjected, his voice commanding. “This is not a battlefield, gentlemen. We are fighting a war, and if you cannot set aside your differences for the sake of the mission, you will find yourselves at a greater loss.”
“And Sirius, you must know that we are often surprised by the paths others choose,” Dumbledore continue, his voice gentle but firm. “But it is not our place to judge the journey, only to trust that love—wherever it is found—brings with it the potential for great courage and even greater understanding.”
Sirius’s shoulders slumped, but the anger still simmered beneath the surface. He turned away, staring out the window at the darkening sky.
Yn leaned against her door, her heart racing, tears streaming down her face. How had it come to this? She had hoped that her relationship with Severus would be a source of strength, not a point of contention. She felt trapped between loyalty to her brother and her love for Severus, a tangled web of emotions that left her feeling breathless.
A soft knock interrupted her thoughts, and she wiped her eyes hastily. “Go away,” she called, her voice thick with sadness.
“Yn?” Severus’s voice was low, almost tentative. “May I come in?”
She hesitated but finally opened the door. Severus stood there, his dark eyes searching hers, concern etched on his features.
“I’m sorry,” he said quietly, stepping inside. “I didn’t mean for this to happen.”
“It’s not your fault,” she replied, shaking her head. “It’s just…Sirius doesn’t understand. He’s hurting and he's doesn't see it.”
“I know.” Severus’s voice was gentle, a contrast to the sharpness that had characterized their earlier confrontation. “But I can’t change who I am. I can’t change how I feels. All I can do is be here for you.”
The sincerity in his voice warmed her, and she took a shaky breath. “I don’t want to choose between you two,” she admitted, her voice trembling. “But I feel like I have to.”
“You don’t,” he said firmly, crossing the room to stand before her. “You can be loyal to your brother and still love me. He’ll come around eventually.”
“But what if he doesn’t?” she whispered, looking up at him, searching for reassurance. “What if I lose him forever? I've already spent twelve years without him, Severus
Severus reached out, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. “Then we will find a way to make it work. Together.”
His touch sent a shiver down her spine, and she leaned into him, the warmth of his body grounding her in the chaos of her thoughts.
Days passed, the tension palpable within Grimmauld Place. Sirius avoided her, and every time she caught a glimpse of him, guilt twisted in her stomach. She missed her brother, and the silence between them felt insurmountable.
One evening, as Yn prepared for bed, a soft knock broke through her thoughts. She opened the door to find Sirius standing there, his expression a mix of determination and regret.
“Can I come in?” he asked, voice softer than she’d ever heard.
“Of course,” she replied, stepping aside.
Sirius entered, shifting awkwardly in the small space, his hands shoved deep in his pockets. “I’ve been a right git,” he began, his voice low. “And I’m sorry. I just…” He hesitated, searching for the words. “I don’t want to see you get hurt. Not again.”
Tears pricked her eyes, and she nodded, unable to speak.
“I know I can’t dictate your life,” he continued, his voice gaining strength. “But I’m your brother, and I care. I just—” He paused, taking a deep breath. “If you’re going to be with him, I need to know that he’s not going to hurt you.”
Yn crossed her arms, heart racing. “He won’t, Sirius. He’s different now. He’s changed. You just weren't here to see it”
Sirius studied her for a moment, the anger in his eyes fading, replaced by something softer. “I just want you to be happy.”
“I am happy” she said firmly. “With him. I love him, Sirius.”
The confession hung in the air, and Sirius let out a frustrated sigh, running a hand through his hair. “I hate that I can’t just accept this,” he muttered, pacing the room. “I just—he’s Snape. He’s always been Snape.”
“Maybe it’s time to let that go,” she said, her voice steady. “You have to let me make my own choices.”
Sirius stopped, turning to face her, vulnerability etched in every line of his face. “I just wish you’d chosen someone else, someone-”
“Someone safer?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. “You want me to date someone you approve of? That’s not how love works, Sirius. It’s not just about safety; it’s also about connection and heart.”
He opened his mouth to argue but then closed it, the fight leaving him. “I don’t want to lose you,not after… Regulus” he admitted, his voice breaking.
“You won’t,” she promised, stepping closer, reaching for his hands. “I’ll always be your sister, no matter what.”
A silence stretched between them, thick with unspoken emotions. Then, Sirius pulled her into a tight embrace, and she melted against him, feeling the warmth of family wrap around her.
“I just want you to be safe,” he murmured into her hair, and she felt the tremor in his voice.
“I will be,” she whispered back, her heart swelling with love for her brother. “I promise.”
The next day, as the sun broke through the clouds, casting light upon the darkened house, Yn found Severus in the garden, tending to the herbs she had planted. The vibrant greens and delicate blooms stood in stark contrast to the somber atmosphere of Grimmauld Place.
“Hey,” she said softly, approaching him.
Severus looked up, his expression softening at the sight of her. “How did your conversation with your brother go?”
“He’s…coming around,” she replied, a small smile breaking through her earlier worries. “He just needs time.”
“Time,” Severus echoed, a hint of skepticism in his tone. “That can be a double-edged sword.”
“Maybe,” she admitted, reaching out to touch a petal of a blooming herb. “But I think he’ll come to see that we’re not just some reckless fling. This is real between us.”
Severus stepped closer, his eyes locking onto hers. “And what if he doesn’t? What if he never accepts this?”
“Then we’ll figure it out together,” she said firmly, determination swirling within her. “I won’t let fear dictate my happiness.”
For a moment, Severus studied her, and then his lips curled into a rare smile. “You are far more stubborn than I anticipated.”
“Stubbornness is a family trait,” she teased, her heart swelling with affection. “But that doesn't stop me from loving you”
As they stood together, the sun casting a warm glow around them, Yn felt a sense of peace settle within her. The path ahead was uncertain, but her heart was anchored in the knowledge that love, no matter how complicated, was worth fighting for.
And as the winds of change swept through the garden, Yn knew she would stand strong—both for herself and for the love she had chosen, no matter who stood against her.

Not to be a bitch or anything but I feel like the marauders fandom is losing their flavor and sense of whimsy
Like maybe it's bc it was a new sparkling thing for me to enjoy but I feel like before I had stumbled into a room with everyone sitting in a circle with their monster high dolls out and like sharing clothes and they were like "hey have you seen these two guys in the Harry Potter movies? Yeah well they kiss now wanna play with us?" And then I went and sat down with them and it was all gravy and there were so many new characters to relate to and put in different scenarios and it was so fun bc like everyone was just like little bottom dwelling queers with raccoons as their role models like "actually so I think Sirius is genderfluid what do we think?" And the crowd went wild
and now its like all white characters with no flavor and people are like "guys James Potter is a swiftie" and "Taylor Swift wrote all the young dudes" and "Sirius black is manly and I hate the way you twinked him it's so unrealistic" and "Jily is the only acceptable ship bc jegulus nor regulily wouldn't have happened" and it's just like when the annoying kid in your class goes "no I'm tired of you guys they're my friend now" and then sits next to you and pretends to be asking you genuine questions all while glancing over at their friends and its like we spent all this time playing with our monster high dolls and diy-ing their outfits and made our doll houses out of shoeboxes and these guys come in here and start stomping on all our toys and bringing in their two story barbie house
Basically it used to feel like playing with monster high dolls with all my cool monster high doll friends and now I feel like everyone is playing with Barbies and I miss our MOTHER FREAKING CARDBOARD DOLL HOUSE
Anyways going to get back to writing rosekiller smut

omg omg omg bestie can i request james potter and "be gentle, please." you can make if fluff, smut, or angst (preferably with a happy ending 🥺)! i love you and i LOVE your new theme 💖🫶
- pretty-little-mind33
eeeeeeee hehehe. YAY. also thank you about the theme, it was a lot of work but i looooove it!!
pairing: james potter x gn!reader
warning: little bit of hurt/comfort, unintentional injury
(three word sentences)
––––––––––
You walked into the kitchen, laughing to yourself as James talked animatedly on the phone with Sirius. You knew it would be trouble to let James use the muggle phone you'd set up in your apartment by the way his eyes lit up the second you told him about it.
He laughed loudly at something his friend said over the phone, replying with equal vigor. You went to move past him to get to the sink, but you quickly realized it was a mistake.
He was being his usual spirited self, swinging an arm around as he spoke. Apparently you got too close, because next thing you knew, you were sent to the floor after his fist made contact with your face, right near your eye.
"Ow," you winced, attempting to sit up.
"I'm so sorry!" James exclaimed, his eyes wide as he dropped to his knees next to you, the phone forgotten.
You merely groaned, holding your head in your hand.
"I'm a bloody idiot," he murmured to himself, his hand ghosting over your wrist. "Let me see."
"Why? You plan on smacking me on the other side?"
He pouted, his voice soft. "I didn't mean to. I'm sorry."
You glanced at him, realizing he was actually upset. You gave him a sympathetic smile.
"I know you didn't mean to. Sorry, that was a bad joke."
"I deserve it. I didn't mean to hit you."
"I know. It's alright."
"It's not alright. Let me see," he insisted.
You moved your hand away, and he grimaced. Not a great sign.
"Ugh. I need to be sent to time-out for this," he mumbled. "I'm so sorry, lovie."
He gently touched around your eye, making you jerk away.
"James. Be gentle, please," you huffed, trying to keep the annoyance out of your voice.
"Sorry, baby," he pouted again, swallowing. "I think you should hit me back. There's already a bit of a bruise."
You snorted. "No need."
"Let me get you some ice," he said, pulling his hand away.
He stood, but quickly looked back down at you. He hummed in annoyance at himself, swiftly scooping you up in his arms, ignoring your protests as he brought you to the couch and set you down like you were some delicate little flower.
"I'll be right back," he sighed, gingerly kissing the other side of your face.
You couldn't help but smile a little bit as you watched him hurry back to the kitchen. Your smile grew as to heard him frantically moving around in there before coming back out with an icepack wrapped in a soft cloth.
"Here you go, my love," he cooed softly, sitting next to you to gently rest the ice pack on your eye. "I still think you should hit me."
"I think you babying me like this is payment enough, James," you gave him a small smile.
He hummed, unhappy with the answer. "I'm gonna go buy you ice cream later. And dinner. Flowers, too."
"You don't have to–"
"And maybe a puppy."
You laughed. "James."
"I'm evil."
"You're an angel," you asserted, rubbing his arm softly as he held the icepack for you.
He jutted his lip out. "You're too good to me."
"You're the one offering to buy me a puppy," you chuckled.
"I love you," he frowned.
"I adore you," you brought his free hand to your lips, kissing his knuckle. "But I would like the ice cream, so..."
His eyes widened, and he nodded quickly. He jumped off of the couch, practically running to the front door.
"I'm going now. I love you, I'll see you soon!" he shouted back to the living room.
"How do you know what flavor I want?" you laughed.
"I'm buying them all! I love youuuu!" he emphasized.
"I love you more!" you shouted back.
"Impossible. I love you most, no take-backs!"
He shut the door before you could argue, leaving you on the couch with a happy smile and a black eye. Poor boy.

hiyaaa, can i request reader x sick!sirius black? like, he has a common cold, but he’s being sooo dramatic about it, acting like he’s dying and making reader get him soup and pamper him and all? love u xx
It's the clatter of the soup bowl against Sirius's nightstand that wakes him; you hadn't meant to set it down so harshly, but the slight warmth of the bowl against your skin had quickly built to a burning sensation the longer you carried it up the stairs.
"Sorry, Siri," You hum sympathetically, but you refrain from spending too much time lingering on the guilt of waking him with a start, as he'd have needed waking anyways in order to eat.
"Soup time?" He rasps, well accustomed to your now three-day-long routine of sleep, soup, medicine, repeat.
"Soup time," You hum in confirmation, "Chicken and stars this time, baby. 'Thought you'd like it."
"Fuckin' love those little stars," He grumbles, face pinched in a grimace as he tries sitting up in bed. You presume it's his head, stuffy from the congestion of his cold.
You've been taking care of him for long enough to know that he'll ask you to feed him, so you pick up the spoon without being asked. He holds his mouth open expectantly and hums at the flavor of the soup, a reassuring sign seeing as yesterday he couldn't taste at all. But when he gently swallows the mouthful of broth his face screws up, and a pitiful groan seeps from his closed mouth.
"My throat," He complains, gruff voice only confirming his ailment, "Ah, fuck, I think this is the end. Can't breathe through m'nose, can't swallow anything, can't be in the light or it makes my head throb."
"I'm sorry, Siri," You croon, thankful that your own nose is clear and free from blockages, "Just a few more days' rest, and-"
"No, this is it," He insists, voice louder than it should be considering he's complaining of a raw throat, "I feel cruel death; his hand upon my skin," He throws a hand over his eyes, his head thumping against the wall behind his bed.
"Okay, no more Shakespeare," You reach for the copy of Hamlet he'd abandoned in favor of a nap, tucking it away beneath the bed, "It's making you far too dramatic."
"Escort me to the window, darling girl; I wish to see the life of spring 'fore I am but a ghost."
"Are you speaking in iambic pentameter?" You scoff, "Sirius, are you even sick anymore, or do you just want princess treatment?"
"Not pentameter, darling," Sirius drawls, his voice still rough but his eyes now bright, confirming your suspicions, "That's seven feet in the last line. Honestly, don't you know anything about poetry?"
"You can feed yourself," You groan, standing from his bedside before he can grab you in protest, and taking his book with you, "And I don't care how many sonnets you write me, I'm not rubbing your feet again tonight!"

❝ i could build a castle of memories just to have somewhere to go
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
✧.* jily x fem reader
synopsis: a warm morning with your other halfs, lily and james.
cw: shitty writing, i haven't written anything on here before so it's prob not the best lmao, complete fluff, I actually love james and lily so much their so so cute, pretty short ngl, not proofread at all
Tumblr media
you winced lightly as you heard the familiar sound of curtains being opened. you opened your eyes and saw lily; who was straightening the curtains. you glanced to the view outside, seeing that the sun was yet to rise over the horizon; the street lights still glowing, dew still present on the roads, and a soft dark blue hue taking over the sky.
your movement on the bed must have alerted lily of you, who turned and smiled softly when she saw that you were awake. she walked over to your side of the bed, leaning down to kiss your cheek. "good morning, my dear." she whispered as to not awake james.
you only whined lightly in response, still to tired to formulate a verbal response. lily breathed out a chuckle through her nose; brining her forehead to rest atop of yours. "i took it that you slept well, hon?" she asked, not looking for a response from you this time.
james mumbled something inaduble from your other side, his arm wrapping around your waist and bringing you closer to him. he gently shoved his face into the crook of your neck, humming when he started relaxing into your body.
lily allowed for a couple minutes of peaceful silence, hand gently caressing james jawline as her forehead was still rested on yours. just as you were being pulled back into the world of sleep, lily spoke to you once more. "d'you want to get up and help me with breakfast, dear?"
when you didn't respond right away, lily pulled away; causing both james and you to wake up slightly due to lack of touch. when you processed what lily had said to you, you hummed in a affirming tone. a cup of coffee with your favorite flavor of creamer did sound quite lovely right now.
lily nodded softy in response before turning and walking out of the room, most likely to head to the kitchen. after a moment, you started to get up; which would normally be quite easy, but james had your waist in an iron grip. "jamie, i need to get up, hon." you mused quietly, hand coming up to weave through his curly hair.
he simply hummed in response, probably not even hearing what you had said clearly. james did however, quickly fall back into his slumber, allowing for you to slip out of his grasp and head for the kitchen.
as you rounded the corner, you were hit with the strong sent of coffee brewing. lily had come into the kitchen then, you thought. as you entered, you saw lily; who was facing away from you and leaning against the counter, probably trying to stay awake herself.
you walked up behind her and wrapped your arms around her torso, letting her know of your presence in the kitchen. "you read my mind sweetheart. how'd you know id want coffee?" you asked as she brought her shoulder to rest against your collar bone.
she giggled softly at your words. "darling, you have coffee every morning. of course i would know that you wanted some," she said, voice still a little hoarse from getting up not to long ago.
you hummed in response, dipping your head down to press and quick kiss to her neck before breaking the embrace the two of you were in. "what do you think for food, honey?" you asked as you walked over to the fridge.
lily turned around so she was facing you. "hmmm.." she hummed, looking over your shoulder as you opened the door to the fridge. "how about muffins?" she mused, seeing some of the required ingredients inside.
you nodded your head, on board with her muffin idea. "blueberry muffins?" you asked, grabbing a almost full container of the said berries and lifting them over your shoulder for lily to see. "jamie likes them," you said as an offhand comment; remembering the time that sirius had made james go on a 20 minute speech about how blueberry muffins were superior.
lily also probably had the same thought as you heard a small giggle from her. "that sounds perfect, dear." she said, turning her attention back to the coffee brewing.
the two of you made quick work with the coffee and muffins; the treat almost being done cooling before james came into the kitchen.
"how are my two favorite girls doing?" james mused as he walked round the corner, sleepiness still heavily present in his eyes; but a sparkle still there from seeing the two of you. both lily and you smiled at him in sync, you mumbling a quiet good to him while lily said her response.
james eyes drifted over twords the coffee, and then the muffins. his eyes light up even more (if that was possible). "did you two minxes already bake muffins? gods, how long did i sleep for?" he asked, but mainly to himself.
before he could pick a muffin up and shove it into his face, your hand grabbed his. "you're gonna burn yourself, love," you mused with a hint of amusement. "their still cooling."
james rolled his eyes playfully before taking your hand out of his; his hand moving to your face and caress the slope of your nose. you heard lily's amused chuckle as she walked behind you, her arms wrapping around your neck area and bringing you closer to her.
"i love you to so much," you said as you tucked yourself more into lily's side; james hand still soothing across your nose slope. you saw james eyes crinkle at the edges, a dopey smile appearing across his face.
you felt lily smile into your hair, her hold on you tightening ever so slightly at the words spoken. "we love you to angel," lily mused as she pressed a kiss to the back of your neck.
"we do. love you so, so much." james said, eyes flickering between you and lily. "my two bueatiful girls."

@jegulus-microfic // may 22 // prompt: control // words: 1169
“We should eat soon. Do you have any preference?” James asks as he glances into his rearview mirror.
“No, I'm easy,” Regulus replies. He swipes at his phone again, mindlessly opening the calculator before closing it again. He's been alternating between the calculator and the weather app for the better part of an hour now, nothing else to do on his phone and a deep reluctance to have an actual conversation with James.
He looks up at James when there’s no response. It takes a second for his own words to register and with a sigh he adds, “I meant easy to please.”
Again, the double meaning snatches James’ attention. “I'm just not picky,” Regulus grounds out.
“Yeah,” James scoffs. “I can tell.”
Regulus drops his phone on his lap, turning his head to give James his full attention. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Nothing.” But evidently it is not nothing, because James waits barely a second before continuing with, “It’s just that you barely waited for the bed to get cold.”
“Excuse me?” Incredulity bleeds into his voice.
“I heard that you went out a lot.”
“With my friends.” Late nights wallowing on the couch were only accepted for so long until they started tugging at him with impatient hands, dragging him out of the house and into this club, then that one.
They told him that the best way to get over someone was to get under someone else, but Regulus never did take anyone home. Any pair of hands that didn't belong to James made his skin crawl.
“And we all know how your friends feel about you,” James says harshly.
“Okay, seriously, what the fuck is your damage, James?” Regulus twists in his seat, staring holes into James’ side profile. His messy hair and wire-frame glasses. His cheeks are flushed with anger, but Regulus doesn’t think James has anything to be angry about.
“What's my damage?” James asks, eyes flitting over to Regulus. “What are you, twelve?”
“You know what I mean.”
“Do I?”
Regulus laughs, short and joyless, before dropping back into his seat. His eyes fall shut as he lets his head thud against the headrest. “And I remember, suddenly, why this didn’t work.”
“Yeah? Was it your incessant need to be in control?”
“No, actually. It was your complete and utter inability to listen.”
“Oh, I think I hear you loud and clear,” James scoffs, and Regulus resists the urge to just crawl out the car window. He’s slight enough, he thinks he could fit. As a matter of fact —
“Stop the car.”
“What?”
“You heard me, stop the fucking car.”
“Regulus, you're not walking all the way to Sirius' house. We still have three hours to go.”
“I don't care. Stop. The. Car.”
“What's your damage?”
“My damage is that I'm stuck in a car with you with nowhere else to go!”
It's silent for a beat. Then two.
“Well, I'm sorry you feel that way,” James says eventually, before harshly twisting the dial to turn up the volume.
They drive to the roadside restaurant in silence. Or well, as silent as can be with the music playing loud enough that Regulus can’t hear himself think. Just as well. He wasn’t thinking anything nice.
James makes the executive decision to pass by a drive-through, probably to prevent having to spend more time in each other’s company than strictly necessary. Regulus can’t say that he minds.
No words are exchanged as they eat, but when Regulus reaches for his drink in the cupholder, James speaks again.
“Do you still like vanilla milkshakes?” He inclines his head toward the cup in Regulus’ hand. James always teased him about choosing the most boring flavor, but vanilla is a classic and Regulus stands by it.
Regulus has the urge to make a snide comment, but he swallows it down. Glances over at James, tense in his seat, both hands on the steering wheel. It unnerves Regulus a little, seeing James like this. He is supposed to be loose limbs and easy smiles. Not… this.
“Yeah, do— do you still like those cherries?” Regulus asks, holding out his cup for James in case he wants the maraschino cherry that sits on top of the whipped cream. James plucks it out of the swirl with ease, like they never stopped doing this.
“Do you still go to the diner down the street?”
They used to go often. The 24/7 diner, red and white tiles on the walls, cracked leather in the booths. They spent late nights there, when studying took priority over cooking and everything else was closed. Appearing again on a Saturday morning, soaking up the alcohol that still lingered in their systems. Salty and sweet kisses shared next to the jukebox.
“No, it—” Regulus catches himself before he says something embarrassing like it hasn’t been the same without you. “It’s been a while,” he says instead.
“I see.”
Regulus squeezes his eyes shut, black spots swimming in his vision. Then, before he can chicken out, he asks the first thing that comes to mind.
“Does your mom still collect those novelty plates?”
James laughs at that, the sound of it comforting and familiar, and he seems to relax in his seat. Even if just a little.
“She’s actually moved on to novelty shot glasses. My dad had to get rid of five plates he’d bought in advance. I still have them, though. I just know she’ll return to the plate thing soon enough.”
They pass the time like that, dragging up memories and habits, questions flowing between them. Regulus finds that he likes it. He’d missed James’ easy nature, his way of telling stories. He also finds that he is secretly relieved that James hasn’t changed a lot in the time they spent away from each other.
Do you still? Say yes, say yes.
Do you still forget to clean your glasses? Do you still keep a picture of you dad in your wallet? Do you still like your coffee the same way? Do you still—
Say yes, say yes.
“I got the internship, by the way,” Regulus says at some point. He’s not sure how much time has passed, but stretching fields of green are slowly giving way to houses again. “The—”
“—one at the publishing house?” James cuts in excitedly. His head whips to the side to look at Regulus, joy evident in the little crinkles around his eyes. “No way!”
Regulus’ heart stalls and stutters. A heavy beat in his chest. Say yes, say yes.
“I can’t believe you remember that,” he breathes.
Silence stretches between them and for a moment, Regulus thinks the conversation has died down again. It was nice while it lasted.
But then, so soft like he hoped Regulus might not hear, “I remember everything about you.”
Do you still? Say yes, say yes.
“James. Stop the car.”
“What?”
“Stop the car.”
Say yes, say yes.
Thankfully, James doesn’t need to be told a third time.

Absolutely you can, my love! And this is suchhhh a sweet idea. I can't seem to help making Sirius a nuisance lately, so I'm a bit worried I've missed the mark on a calm morning, but I hope you like it <3
poly!marauders x gn!reader ♡ 907 words
You rise to consciousness slowly, roused by a slight movement at your back. You turn in Sirius’ arms with a soft whining sound.
“Sorry,” Remus whispers. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“S’okay,” you murmur, cracking an eyelid. Buttery morning light has infiltrated the cracks in your curtains, illuminating Remus angelically from behind. It turns the rumpled ends of his hair golden, and when you cup the back of his head to give him a kiss, it’s warm as a cat’s fur after laying in the sun. Remus makes a satisfied humming sound, hands snaking around your waist to bring you closer as he kisses lazily at your bottom lip.
“Oi,” Sirius grumbles, arm tightening around you and halting Remus’ progress, “get your own.”
“James left to go on a run already,” Remus replies.
“Doesn’t matter. I had them first.”
“Wait, has he really?” you ask, propping yourself up on your elbow to see over Remus. Sure enough, there’s only a faint indentation in the sheets where you’d supposed James to be sleeping. “I think I’m going to try and make muffins before he gets back,” you decide, starting to get up, but Sirius keeps you, his arm surprisingly unmovable around your middle.
“That sounds lovely,” Remus says, watching amusedly as you try to pry Sirius’ fingers from your t-shirt. “Should I make us some tea as well?”
“No,” Sirius protests, reaching around you to clamp his other hand around Remus’ forearm. “Neither of you can leave me, it’ll get cold in here.”
Remus extricates himself from Sirius’ grip with little effort, standing and leaving you to fend for yourself. “You’re welcome to get up too, Pads.”
Sirius casts his head forlornly into the juncture of your neck as he moans, “But it’s so early.”
You make another attempt at escape, and Sirius rolls over you with a vitality that defies his claims of lethargy, pinning you under his weight. “Siri,” you laugh, cupping his face with one hand and pressing a kiss to his cheek, “you can’t keep me here, honey.”
He all but ignores your tenderness, looking down at you obstinately. “Can’t I?”
“Don’t you want muffins? I’ll let you pick the flavor, so long as we have the ingredients for it.”
Sirius frowns pensively. “Those blueberries haven’t gone bad yet, have they?”
You grin. “Nope.”
Time is on your side this morning. James slips in and goes straight to the shower just as you’re setting the timer on the oven, emerging eucalyptus-scented and in his pajama bottoms when the muffins are cooling on the counter.
“Smells good in here,” he says as he comes into the kitchen, stopping short when he sees you like you’re not in the same disheveled state you were when he left. “Oh, sweetheart, what’re you trying to do to me?”
“James.” You take a tentative step back, all too familiar with the glint in his eyes. “It’s just a t-shirt.”
It’s no use; he’s hauled you up onto the counter before you can take another breath, pushing between your legs with both hands on your ass. “Don’t play coy with me.” He nips at the underside of your jaw, drawing frenetic giggles out of you. “You put those legs on display on purpose.”
“Let them go, you neanderthal,” comes Sirius’ hypocritical call. “Bring us the muffins while they’re still warm.”
James grants you one, sweet kiss to soothe the damage he’s done to your face before giving you a conspiratorial look. “So demanding,” he says lowly, but helps you down from the counter.
“Finally,” Sirius says as you enter, as though the plate of muffins isn’t still steaming. “What was the point of getting out of bed if I can’t have muffins or cuddles?”
James doesn’t hesitate to indulge him, sidling up to the other boy and holding a muffin under his nose as a temptation. You sit on the floor next to Remus, taking the cup of tea he offers you gratefully. He’s already resumed his work on the puzzle you’d started the night before, which both James and Sirius claim they’re going to “win” despite neither of them having the patience to put much work into it. You pick up an oddly colored piece, studying the picture on the box alongside your pensive boyfriend.
“Doesn’t look like the same brown as the tree, does it?” he murmurs.
“No. Maybe the fence, though?”
“Ah.” He takes the piece from you, putting it in its place with a satisfying click. “Nice one, love.”
“What a couple of nerds,” Sirius drawls, and you look up to find he’s moved into James’ lap, being fed pieces of blueberry muffin like a prince. “How’d we end up dating such losers, Prongs?”
“I don’t know,” James says consideringly. “They make us tea and muffins, so that’s not bad.”
“I’ll allow that the muffins and tea are perks, definitely.”
Remus drags his attention from the puzzle to give Sirius a deadpan look. “You seemed alright with us this morning,” he reminds him. “But I suppose Y/N and I could go handle our nerd business elsewhere, if it suits you.”
“No need to leave me, too. I’m not in his camp,” James says, though he breaks off another piece of muffin to give him.
Sirius rolls his eyes, chewing the muffin before giving you and Remus a benevolent smile. “I suppose we’ll keep you around.” He winks at you. “Thanks for the muffins, darling.”

The Art of Gift-Giving
@wolfstarbingo2024 - prompt: gift giving - word count: 592 - warnings: none - rating: g - link
It started out small. Little bars of chocolate and tokens of affection left on his pillow, handwritten notes in block letters explaining secretive feelings and intimate desires.
But then it got more elaborate.
Every time a gift was left it seemed to be hand-picked for him. If he ripped the elbow of his favorite jumper, it seemed a new one was left for him on his bed within the day. If he expressed a desire for a specific quill or a flavor of his favorite candy, whatever he asked for always appeared.
He began testing it. Trying to figure out who his secret admirer could possibly be. And he realized quite quickly that it had to be someone who lived in his dorm.
It was pretty obvious after a while. He didn't hang 'round a lot of people, and many times his expression of needs or wants was only in front of his three closest friends. So, he started trying to narrow it down.
"Ugh, I'm almost out of blue ink," he lamented in front of James one day as they studied alone in he library.
"Sucks, mate," James replied vaguely, staring over at Lily, who was chatting with Marlene McKinnon.
His present the next day was a scarf, made of the softest wool.
"The pudding tonight was awful," he complained to Peter as they played chess quietly another night, Peter solidly kicking his arse.
"It was!" Peter exclaimed. "Checkmate, by the way."
And his present, he found, was a new journal, bound in leather.
But the next night, when he said to Sirius, heart beating nervously, "My quill broke yesterday. My favorite one," he was half-hoping not to find the stunning, gold-plated quill he saw on his pillow the next day. Because he knew what that meant.
"Sirius!" he called to his friend in the hall, embarrassment and a bit of anger flooding through him, grabbing the shorter boy's hand and pulling him into an empty classroom. "We need to talk."
"What's up, Moons?" Sirius asked. And Merlin, he was pretty. Remus hated himself.
"You need to stop," he said softly, tears in his eyes. "It's not fair."
"S-stop what?" Sirius stammered, but they both knew what Remus was talking about.
"I don't know if you're teasing me, or you're doing this out of pity, or what," Remus said, trying to keep his voice level. "But it's got to stop. I don't want any of this. I-"
But Sirius interrupted him, looking shocked. "Rem, I'm not making fun of you, and I'm definitely not doing this out of pity. Fuck, I- I'm doing this because-"
"I don't want to hear this, Sirius," Remus cut him off. "I can't hear it." He wanted to cry. To run. It was impossible, to hear that Sirius didn't feel the same way. He knew it, of course, but to hear it aloud would forever change him. The dread was sitting in his stomach like a sludge and he just needed to scream.
"Remus, I like you!" Sirius nearly-yelled, throwing his hands out desperately.
And Remus stilled, hope blooming in his chest, a single tear escaping his eye and slowly moving down his cheek. "What?"
"Yes! Merlin, I wouldn't have done all of this otherwise," Sirius said, face a bit nervous, gaze at his feet as his confession sat in the air.
But, rather than taking too long to search for words that he wasn't sure he could find right now, Remus chose to reach for Sirius instead, drawing their lips together in a sweet kiss.
Leave comments and kudos here!
