Smart Ways to Make the 'About Me' Section on Physician Dating Sites Interesting
It's important to have a unique "about me" section on dating sites, especially for medical professionals. This section of your profile provides information about your values, interests, and identity to possible matches. The days of relying just on a profile image are long gone; authenticity is now essential. A well-written bio on a physician dating site can draw readers who are really interested in learning more about you. Your chances of meeting the one who is a perfect fit and values both your career and personality might be raised by concentrating on authentic and imaginative descriptions.
Tumblr media
Creating a single physicians dating profile
It might be less intimidating to write your single physicians dating profileoffline, particularly if you're thinking of a doctor's dating site. It enables you to meticulously edit and modify your profile so that it appropriately conveys your character and obligations in the workplace. You can monitor character limits, tailor your bio to highlight your unique qualities as a physician and save it for use across different dating platforms. This approach enables you to present yourself authentically and attract potential matches who appreciate your dedication to medicine and personal interests.
Define Your Ideal Partner
For genuine relationships to flourish and embarrassing first dates to be avoided, it's important to know what kind of partner you desire. Think about your preferences for a casual or committed relationship, as well as their hobbies and how you would spend time together. These observations help you not only focus your search but also craft a dating profile that appeals to potential partners. Knowing your interests can help you customize your profile so that it appeals to others who share your vision and increases the likelihood that you will make a meaningful connection on a surgeon dating app.
Highlight your best qualities
Emphasize your strengths without overwhelming potential matches with excessive details. Use a friendly and inviting tone that aligns with the relationship dynamics you desire. Whether you're aiming for casual connections or a serious commitment, tailoring your profile to reflect your personality and relationship goals increases your chances of attracting compatible matches on physician dating platforms.
Tumblr media
Reflecting on Relationship Dynamics
Reflect on past relationships to identify traits others found appealing. Finding your relationship strengths or shared interests requires self-awareness. You may honestly communicate who you are and the kinds of connections you're seeking for by listing these attributes in your dating profile. By being genuine, you draw similar people to you on medical dating sites that value and connect with what you have to give.
Choose words Wisely
It's critical to stay away from certain terms and phrases in your dating profile that might take away from your message or lead to misconceptions. Refrain words like 'Don't' from listing dislikes or negative preferences. Focus instead on what you are looking for positively to attract compatible matches. Even while it might be funny, sarcasm might not work well in a dating profile. Don't suggest that you like sarcasm until you've built a connection with someone.
Conclusion
Take your time creating a succinct yet engaging "about me" section for a medical dating service. Because long profiles might not be seen by potential partners, concentrate on emphasizing your best qualities right away. Be sincere and allow your own self to come through. Steer clear of overanalyzing and try to project a real personality that briefly highlights your passion for both your personal and professional pursuits. By keeping it straightforward and engaging on doctors' dating apps, you can attract like-minded individuals who appreciate your unique qualities as a physician.

Thinking about Surgeon!Eli meeting a kid who has a cleft lip and isn't scared of getting the corrective surgery. He's a brave little guy, about 4 years old, who does well every visit. He talks to Hawk about everything, all his interests, even the small things like his favorite food his mommy makes him.
Speaking of his mommy, Reader is the one super nervous and scared for her baby to go into surgery. She's the one talking fast and needing assurance about the procedure. Her mind is racing and so is her heart at the thought of her baby being in any pain at all. However, she knows his quality of life will be better with the surgery. This isn't for appearances. This is for his life and health.
Eli assures her every appointment that it will be okay. He won't say it but the nurses will tell her that he's the best peds plastics surgeon around. She won't find someone who cares as much as Eli Moskowitz and how will take care of her baby as if he's his own. Her heart and mind are put at ease. So when surgery day comes, she gives her brave baby boy a kiss on the head before he's taken back and she's left waiting.
When Eli comes out and tells her it went well and that they'll have him in a room soon, she wants to hug him. She thanks him over and over again instead, telling hi thanks for taking such good care of her baby. That little boy is her whole life. She doesn't know what she'd do without him and she'll do anything to make his life better, easier, happier. It means so much to her and she says she doesn't know how to repay him. He assures he that there's no need for repayment. This is his job, what he's spent his whole life working towards, and helping kids and their families is reward enough.
A few months later, Eli runs into the pair at the grocery. Reader's son sees him and runs up to him, screaming across the store for him. Eli crouches down to him for a greeting and asks him how he's doing. The little boy is so happy to see him and show him his healed lip. Eli already knew what the healed scar looks like from their last check up appointment months ago but indulges the boy with a smile.
"Now we match!" the little boy giggles.
Reader catches up and begs her son to stop running off like that. He's so rambunctious and independent that he can't help it. When they're on the pasta aisle, he volunteers to go get their favorite cereal and that he'll be "super duper fast." Only to get distracted by toy cars.
This time he's happened to get distracted by his favorite doctor in the whole wide world.
Eli smiles and stands as Reader picks up her son and puts him in the cart so he won't run off again. "How are you two?"
"Well," she tells him, smiling back. "How are you?"
"Great," he says and nods. "It's nice to see you. How're the pre schoolers liking that cool scar?"
Reader son grins. "I'm so cool! We play doctor all the time and I get to be the doctor like you! And fix everyone's lips like you do! And their arms and their legs and I listen to their hearts too."
"Really?" He asks. Her son nods and Eli sighs. "Wow! Sounds like you and I should be partners. We'd make a really great team at the rate your going."
The boy laughs and kicks his feet from the cart's seat, the idea exciting him. "That sounds like so much fun! I'll start soon!"
Reader can't help but giggle and smile. Seeing her little boy thrive after the surgery is great. Not that he wasn't thriving before but she was worried that the surgery Ishtar change things. He had friends before and he still has friends, but there was that motherly fear that things wouldn't stay the same. That somehow he'd be treated differently because of this. But he wasn't and he was happy. And it was thanks to Eli, their fantastic doctor who made it less scary for her and that much more amazing for her son.
The doctor standing in front of her that she can't seem to take her eyes off of. The guy who was making her son laugh and engaging with him in conversation that he was so happy about. The guy who looked good standing in a tight compression shirt and shorts, a little sweaty from what appears to be an afternoon run. Her heart thrums and flutters as he high fives her son with a big smile. And she thinks Oh shit, not again.

Where the middle meets snippet
His soulmate, in scant an hour of knowing, who’d called him beauty, angel, in precisely the same tone as he said Dick was a menace, a labyrinth on legs. Naturally, Dick had taken the opportunity to throw said legs, tanned from a Themysciran sunburn, right across Llewellyn’s lap. He’d thought he’d looked good- bronzed, sleek in running shorts, but Llewellyn hadn’t even glanced, before heaving him away. What he did was simmer in vague, fond frustration for about ten minutes straight, starring off into space, before demanding if Dick knew his knuckle was fractured. Scowling murderously down at the hand he was still holding, he hadn’t waited for an answer. Just grumbled on about Dick’s bone density, his cortisol levels, his spine- Dick lost track, at the time. He was busy, with the all consuming thought of how much he wanted to stick Llewellyn’s fingers in his mouth. Learn what his tongue tasted like. Find out what he’d look like, coming apart beneath him. And then Llewellyn groaned. “Dick.” A blink, a smile, watching a whole new expression, scowl hooking between pretty red-brown brows. “Wells.” “Your whole body is fucked.” Dick’s whole body was in perfect form. He very much wanted to demonstrate it. He’d shrugged knowing what the contained motion did to his shoulders, tank top more a suggestion of clothing than a certainty. “We can make that happen.” Llewellyn’s groan upgraded to a drawn out, exaggerated gag. Despite himself, any dignity, Dick couldn’t not smile in response, heart doing flips. “I’m fine. They’re just scars.” “You’re telling me your wrist doesn’t hurt when it rains? That your hand doesn’t hurt right now?” Not meaningfully, was the truth. Dick had a high pain tolerance- very barely knew better than to suggest they test it, though that answer was on the tip of his tongue. Which Llewellyn knew, soul bond drowning out anything else in the world, in Dick’s brain and his heart and his many formerly broken bones. Pressing back into the corner of his laughably small grey couch, Llewellyn sighed. Pinched the bridge of his nose, turned arm baring a new stripe of neatly spaced, beautiful tattoos. Treasure map, Dick thought. A sigh drowned the first few words of Llewellyn’s reply. “‘Drive me fucking insane,” he opened his eyes. Shifted forward, long, slouchy posture gone perfectly straight. “Look. There is no reason to be in pain.” He sighed again, deeper. “I can fix it.”

Wisdom Teeth
by gusucloudbunny
G, 5k, Wangxian
Summary: Wei Wuxian is an oral surgeon, Lan Wangji gets his wisdom teeth removed, Lan Wangji is high as a kite, flirting ensues.
Kay's comments: Phew, what a cliffhanger at the end of the first chapter!! Really punched me straight in the heart, but thankfully, chapter two healed it again with lots of fluff. I adored this story and I loved having single father Wei Wuxian in this and Lan Wangji interacting with A-Yuan! Cuties, all of them!
Excerpt: “Ah,” Lan Wangji said, beginning to understand. “We have not kissed.” “Not yet, Lan Zhan.” Wei Wuxian said with a laugh. Lan Wangji nearly snapped his neck bringing it up so quickly to bore his eyes into Wei Wuxian’s. “So there is hope?” He asked eagerly. “Oh, Wangji.” Lan Xichen said, shaking his head. Lan Wangji furrowed his brow and frowned at his older brother. “Brother,” Lan Wangji said. “If you are not going to be supportive then you may leave.”
modern setting, cute, doctor/patient, wisdom teeth, doctor wei wuxian, patient lan wangji, oral surgeon wei wuxian, kid fic, single parent wei wuxian, wingman lan xichen, anesthesia

How Dating Apps Can Help a Nurse Connect with Doctors for Love?
In the ever-evolving landscape of modern romance, dating apps have become a prevalent tool for individuals to connect with potential partners. For professionals like nurses, whose demanding schedules often leave little time for traditional dating avenues, these platforms offer a convenient and efficient way to seek companionship.
Interestingly, dating apps also present a unique opportunity for nurses to meet and connect with single surgeons, fostering relationships that transcend the boundaries of their shared profession. Let's explore how dating apps facilitate this connection and why it's becoming increasingly common.
Tumblr media
1. Common Ground:
One of the primary reasons dating apps can help nurses connect with doctors is the shared professional background. Nurses and doctors often work closely together in healthcare settings, creating a natural bond based on mutual understanding and respect for each other's professions. This shared experience can serve as a solid foundation for single surgeons dating, as both parties are familiar with the challenges and rewards of working in the medical field.
2. Compatibility:
Dating apps allow users to specify their preferences and criteria for potential matches, including profession, interests, and lifestyle choices. For nurses seeking relationships with doctors, these platforms offer the opportunity to filter and prioritize individuals who share similar values and goals. Whether it's finding someone who values work-life balance or understands the demands of shift work, surgeon dating apps make it easier for nurses to connect with doctors who are compatible on multiple levels.
3. Convenience:
The demanding schedules of healthcare professionals can make it challenging to find time for traditional dating. However, dating site to meet doctors provides a convenient solution by allowing users to browse profiles and communicate with potential matches at their own pace and schedule. For busy nurses and doctors, this flexibility is invaluable, as it enables them to connect with like-minded individuals without disrupting their work or personal commitments.
4. Networking Opportunities:
Beyond romantic connections, dating apps also offer nurses and doctors the chance to expand their professional networks within the healthcare community. By engaging with other medical professionals on these platforms, individuals can meet single nurses. This networking aspect adds an extra layer of value to dating apps, as it fosters both personal and professional growth for users in the medical field.
5. Support System:
Navigating the challenges of a healthcare career can be emotionally taxing, but having a supportive partner who understands the intricacies of the profession can make a significant difference. Whether it's discussing difficult cases, celebrating professional achievements, or simply providing emotional support during stressful times, these relationships can enrich both personal and professional lives.
Conclusion:
Dating apps have revolutionized the way people approach relationships, offering a convenient and accessible platform for individuals to connect with potential partners. For nurses seeking love and companionship with doctors, these platforms provide a unique opportunity to find compatible matches who share their professional backgrounds and understand the demands of a healthcdating-a-female-dentistare career. By leveraging the power of technology and connectivity, nurses can forge meaningful connections with doctors that transcend the boundaries of their shared profession, enriching both their personal and professional lives in the process.

man it is seriously depressing remembering how excited i was when i first got my bottom surgery referral multiple years ago now like things were finally looking up i was so excited to finally get surgery after waiting my entire life i was constantly browsing bottom surgery forums to read other ppls account of their recovery etc. i really couldnt wait to feel comfortable in my own skin and be able to have sex the way i wanted and be able to shower with the lights on and all that. and then that was all taken away from me. and all that imagining post-op life that made me so excited is so painful now bc i know it is so far off and possibly i'll never be able to have it bc the nhs can just arbitrarily take it away from me again on the whim of one doctor.
cant stop thinking about emigrating cause i know i would literally get bottom surgery faster if i moved to another country and went through their processes despite the fact that my initial gic referral was in 2017 lol. even if i got my bottom surgery referral today (realistically i won't be re-referred for like another decade p much, and no they won't let me keep my old place in the bottom surgery waiting list, i checked many times with gdnrss lol) it still might be faster to emigrate. i know that a friend of mine who was recommended for bottom surgery in 2019 recently had surgery (she's a trans woman, im aware the waiting times are an order of magnitude longer for masculinising bottom surgery bc of the nhs fucking up the st peters contract too) and like i definitely know foreign surgeons with wayy faster turnaround than that, although im not sure how quickly i could become a citizen to become eligible for those countries' healthcare systems. maybe i could take advantage of my british passport privileges idk how much easier that would make it. but anyway i've been on and off thinking about moving to cuba since i was 16 anyway for anti-imperialist reasons, and ofc they have free bottom surgery there. ive have stayed put bc i think there needs to be communists in the imperial core too to sabotage imperialist efforts to crush revolutions abroad if nothing else bc the british people are so impotent lol, but like damn if britain doesnt keep giving me reason after reason to leave this shitty place

about to leave a scathing review for a historical fiction book on goodreads (felt so strongly about it i made an account for the first time) then chickening out once i realised i'd put down my full name and i dont want to offend the author TOO much in case we end up working in the same field as historians
#missives#i admire her a lot too which sucks but holy shit. this book is bad its SO bad#maybe i'll post my review here just to get it out of my system#in essence its a book about a real historical figure but shes written in this way where literally all she ever does is serve men#and have babies continuously#and we're meant to believe she's fallen in love with her dropkick of a husband who does fuck all and is constantly abroad#and like. of course i can believe that's how some women were especially given their religious inclinations#but i could feel the feminism leaving my body the longer i read the book like it is that bad i felt like i was being brainwashed#it starts good like it goes into her childhood and relationship with her siblings#but then she just turns into her husband's mother essentially and its so revolting. and it doesnt even feel authentic? like#none of these people feel like real people. they dont fight they dont have nasty thoughts they are so fucking sanitised#i dont know what i expected.jpeg#and this woman is a historian!! she has a phd!!#yet she gets basic things wrong to an immersion-breaking degree#the whole thing is set during the civil wars but she NEVER talks about there being surgeons i have not seen a single mention of a surgeon#shes always referring to doctors and physicians but it's becoming apparent to me that when she says physician#shes just using it as an old timey word for doctor not because she properly understands the 17th century medical hierarchy#fucking hell. im so mad

Surgeon dad Eli 😍😍 I honestly love it omfg
Imagine him asking to adopt Reader's kids 🥺 like their dad is a pos so why not? Eli love them so much and he'd give them his name if Reader doesn't mind that. Ugh my heart
- gemini sensei
( @gemini-sensei )
I would think that either Reader’s babies' daddy either skipped town entirely or sighed over rights, possibly not even signing their first child's birth certificate in the first place.
So when he asks Reader about it, months after they move in together, she's only slightly taken aback. She thinks it over for a while before she says yes and they start working on the legal papers.
I imagine the two of them making a big deal out of it, Eli basically makes it into a second birthday thing.
(I know that's how my adoption went, I have a regular birthday and then a birthday/anniversary when we finally got my adoption papers notarized at the courthouse. We go out to dinner most of the time.🙂)
Eli takes them all out and they celebrate. They probably take them out to a kid's place, maybe golf-n-stuff. They let them play games and they eat junk. Eli is just happy to see them laughing and giggling. When the oldest boy kisses him and says “Now your my real Daddy!” his heart melts. He kisses the boy all over making him laugh and picks him up, not before picking up the other baby and holding them too. All of them laugh and spend the night enjoying their family.
I would like to think that they go as far as officially changing the kid's last names.
Eli thinks he might actually cry when the oldest boy comes back from daycare one day and hands him a piece of paper. In chicken scratch handwriting is his full name, with a capital “MOSKOWITZ” at the end. The boy is so proud of himself as he shows it off to his dad.

today in "trying to get bottom surgery is its own circle of hell": on may 28th, i get my surgeon on the phone regarding the issue of my surgery getting approved and inform him that i have an official document of approval that covers all transition surgeries for the rest of my life and therefore i dont need to pass through a specific meeting to have bottom surgery approved. surgeon tells me to send him the document and hell be able to bring it up in a staff meeting "at the end of the week" and schedule my surgery asap. as soon as i get a copy of the document the next day i email it to him. so, of course, its been two weeks since that "end of the week" staff meeting and i havent heard shit!
emailed the surgeon again asking for an update.. maybe at some point ill finally get a date for this surgery ive been going through the process of preparing and getting approved since 2021 :) which was already scheduled then delayed twice in 2023 :))
can i move to the reality right wingers believe in where you just walk into a hospital and say "give me a sex change now!!" and they immediately start prepping an or lol
