so! i was going through @thedeafprophet 's blog yesterday (specifically their rory posts) and saw this:

from about a year ago! and since rory still doesn't have a tattoo yet, i thought i might try my hand at designing her one! so! nudity (just back and ass) under the cut, here's what i ended up designing!!

(the heart is just to show heart shape)

i imagine with Monsterous Anatomy and how far along her transformation is, the stars in her tattoos would behave similarly to how a real curator's wing stars would! whether faintly glowing, or moving with the season, or just being very neat!!

The base would be connected to her shoulder muscles, and give the faint illusion of them actually flexing!

i just ran into a one of my coworkers and his wife at the library and had a very embarrassing conversation. they’re both very sweet, very religious, and i venture both in their sixties. my coworker pointed to my shirt (see below), and asked, “who’s that?” i told him it was pj harvey, and got a little flustered because it’s a bit of a suggestive shirt and i felt weird talking to them about it (see above). his wife asked, “whatever happened to her?” and i said, “oh, she’s still alive!”

Spinner is ??? Does he have siblings?? Parents? Grandparents? Anyone? No one? An orphan? We get nothing about him specifically, nothing that can't be related (or parallels drawn) with other characters.

And with the weakest quirk of the League, he's left alive? Like he's not even a threat to the heroes as himself? The complete lack of care that he's given in the story is...

Today on "Another JeanMarco Soulmate AU absolutely no one asked for" I present to you -

Soulmate AU in which you stop seeing colors when your soulmate dies, the only exception being your soulmate. Now cue to Jean who just found Marco's, his best friend's, body. And you know, there's the shock of finding out Marco's dead. The pain and confusion and guilt. But there's also the revelation, because despite everything he can still see Marco like nothing took place at all- yes, half of his face is missing and his body is straight up lifeless, but Jean can still make out the color of his eye ; see that light shade of brown perfectly, remember all the times he has found himself looking at them while listening to Marco talk. He can still make out the colors of his uniform, see the same shade of black his hair has always had, practically see. Despite being dead, Marco was the only piece of color left in his life.

And there's denial for a moment because there's no way Marco was his soulmate. But that goes away fast, getting replaced by guilt. By the fact that he hasn't been there to save him, that Marco has to die all alone without anyone being there for him.

And that was worse than the simple fact that he could no longer see colors ; because Marco was there when Jean needed him, but he failed to do the same. And not only he lost his best friend that day, but his other half too.

FUCK IT'S GONNA STAIN THE STUFF NO

Im genuinely upset about that, I can live with it on the comforter, I've had it for years, the sheets? Already all messed up, plus we have extra. But it also got on a very important blanket, my family calls it the butterfly blanket, it's a quilt my mom made in college. I had to convince her to let me use it and I think I stained it. Sure it has some holes and stuff but, augh/neg I feel horrible, what if she gets mad?
