ITS BEEN A LONG TIME COMIN' I'm very sorry for the wait ya'll I was suppose to post this literally like before January was over and it's now nearly mid-February 💀

Ya'll know the drill, since this is a NP card, heavily summarized, a few screenshots, the usual.

Though I will tell you...this card was a MAJOR turn around from his Torture card in terms of pacing, writing, his personality shining through and through. And that date story???

Satan wants me to marry him I guess.

Butttt let's get this show on the road~

Summary

So it seems Satan is upset today because the Explosive Sphere event (wth lmaooo) has had so many victories by Gehenna that they are removing it. Like, no one else gets a chance to win because it's biased toward long-range snipers. (okay yah I guess I get that)

And surprise, surprise we get a cameo from the big granddaddy himself, Solomon! It appears that this card starts with a blast from the past, and Solomon's influence is seen in real time. Like he literally just whispers to Satan and he calms down just like that. Levi is even like >:( sit next to me and being semi-clingy and I'm just here like??? Damn that personality didn't transfer over to MC at all sorry 😭

The narration even pointed out that it wasn't that Solomon used overt logic or strength, he was simply just present, had a nice voice, and was just himself. Literally he's just that guy.

It's official, the Calvary Battles replaced the Exploding Sphere event, we're now in the future and things are underway and Satan is hyping up his men to win. Violence is allowed, so it sounds like the devils from each country are just gonna beat each other's asses until someone passes out essentially.

And the story reflects back to Luci's victory card, which honestly that shit was wild as it is. But it's nice to know that these themed cards are connected and therefore...canon lol (at least for whatever's happening, I imagine this is MC's everyday life and how it would be realistically during their time in Hell aside from the things happening in the main story)

It begins, each country planning out their battle strategies! As we see what Gehenna is up to, basically using 6 devils together in an "iron maiden" like formation with bombs attached to themselves (wild...) we have Hades (who sent Foras to spy on the Gehenna devils...) and they are using the 9 Apostles that will come out from 9 coffins, Levi will be wearing rings (sounds similar to the infinity gauntlet lmao who is he thanos?) to show his bond with them so they can work with Hades.

And not only that ya'll, a fly was spying on Hades...and we go over to Abyssos and they plan on hiring Abaddon devils from the Red Light District as mercenaries! (Nabe's idea btw, Stolas apparently just wanted to shoot everyone too the little angry birb) And then, while folks in Abyssos were placing their votes for a bet...there's this one devil that's confident that Abyssos will lose? Turns out....he's a spy for Tartaros 😭 (this is so wild ya'll)

I want to add that Tartaros had a transforming fortrace and they didn't even have plans for a stage 3 and Mammon was like "Ah pay the devil who suggested stage 3 and we'll get right to it" MAMMON PL SSSSSSSS what do you mean you didn't have more than two stages helpppppp.

And now, we're also looking into Paradise Lost, Gamigin wants to participate so badly to show that healer's aren't weak, even offering to turn into a complete dragon or to lend Lucifer his powers? (I bet he can do that tbh) and this entire display of the other nobles treating Gamigin softly about it, has Luci convinced to join in the battles (seems like he was going to not participate just out of choice, since I mean he won the horse races and got his prize already)

Then we get a visitor??? ZAGAN THE BABES <3 He shows up to Paradise Lost to ask the nobles to not participate this time around, only because he's worried that some devil's may actually die this time because MC is the prize. He doesn't want Satan most of all to get hurt, and it really shows us more of Zagan's personality. He went there of his own accord, is worried about his King and others, and is asking for standby help to prevent a possibly tragedy. Love him.

I'll be very brief about the battle, Satan won lmao. And it wasn't like the other's didn't try it's just...even with all the spying and cheating, Satan still came out on top and he did it so flawlessly too.

And the way he grabbed MC as his prize and whisked them away? I love it when it does that. So cocky, so....him. Phewww

So I'mma just say rn, I needed one of Beleth's cigarette's after reading the smut with Satan. Like ya'll we got backshots, for whatever reason MC was describing being fucked like a bitch in heat, but whatever I might as well be cause I'm a sucker for backshots and that's something Satan should like too because it gives him good range to smack that ass.

Also, so commanding, being mad about MC being so cute, saying that he's in charge so there's no reason MC should be ordering him around. MC gave him head, he was throatfucking, and because he had consumed devil's blood beforehand it seems that made him harder, bigger (more swollen), and just more unhinged and hornier than usual.

Bonus: they came at the same time, after ya know he made them cum like 9 times before that

And one thing Satan is always gonna do? Put MC to sleep. Which happened, he was being cute at the end, and MC just passes out. All of this in an alleyway mind you...Satan freaky asf fucking outside with the possibility of getting caught.

Date Story and Chat Summary!

I think it's funny that Satan pretty much just says outloud that he had good sex with MC and everyone is like :O and MC is like 🙃🙃🙃💀😭 and I'm over here like??? Okay, now I do understand not wanting your business out there, but???? Lol

Paimon thing: He likes shy ppl and certified hoes who open their legs too, so basically ya'll you're his type no matter what I guess💀

So the date ends up being that he takes MC to his private motorcyle repair shop! He's being so domestic and soft here you almost forget he gets angry and prefers to fuck roughly lmao

But also, a big thing we learn is Satan's love language of physical touch. He doesn't say things with words, it's all actions, so you could even say that Acts of Service, is also another love language for him! He really is very affectionate, and I love that so much about him.

But the main point being that he treated this date like how any regular degular human boyfriend would, and I think...that's really what sets him apart from the other devils! He has that sense of "normal humanity" to him when he feels like it and it brings you back to a sense of comfort. Now, I have yet to observe this behavior from the other devils, as I feel it's touch and go from what we get per story, BUT yes...

Btw it seems that Satan really likes bringing up how good the sex is, because he was doing that in the chats and even had a point in time where he was like "yeah it's big again, I'm going to you now." Like my guy literally was like

Also, it seems Levi really was upset about losing twice 💀 but strangely enough, Satan doesn't think he's the petty type (I beg to differ, maybe not petty towards you Satan). And he thinks he's a real man even though others call him feminine. This is interesting to bring up though because I'm like...huh yeah Levi's a pretty boy, that's his thing, though I don't think it's a hinderance to anything. that attitude sure fucking is though.

I really did enjoy this card way more than Satan's Torture one. Again, it's mostly because it had the same writing format at Levi's Torture card. A bunch of build up, some lore thrown in, some comedy, and then it leads up to the smut and it's pretty much it from there. Not solely focused on the smut only, it was pretty long, and we get to see the nobles and kings interact once again. Now, sadly since this was a true NP card, that means if you didn't get him this time around, you'll have to wait for them to bring it back in the future. Which I would recommend getting this card if you're a Satan fan! The date story was super cute too.

Now...it's on to Mammon's Victory card which from a quick glance, it was much shorter? Man they never do that devil justice when it comes to creating card content from him majority of the time, BUT I'll see ya there <3

As part of President Biden's goal to bring the number of traffic deaths to zero, the Department of Transportation has sent $480 million in safety grants to all 50 states, DC, and all the US territories. Half the funds will go to the federal government half to state and local governments and for the first time ever a tribal Conservation Land Acquisition program has been set up to allow tribal governments to buy land to protect nature.

The Department of Transportation announced that it had managed to get customers nearly $1 Billion dollars worth of flight reimbursements. The DoT reached an agreement with 3 airlines, Lufthansa, KLM, and South African Airways to pay between them $900 million to passengers effected by Covid related cancellations and delays. This adds to the $4 billion dollars of refunds and reimbursements to airline passengers under the Biden Administration.

The Department of Interior announced $725 million to clean up legacy coal pollution. This is the 3rd pay out from the $11.3 billion dollars President Biden signed into law in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to clean up coal pollution and invest in communities that used to rely on the coal industry. The money will be spent across 22 states and the Navajo Nation. Closing dangerous mine shafts, reclaim unstable slopes, improve water quality by treating acid mine drainage, and restore water supplies damaged by mining.

HUD launches the first of its kind investment program in manufactured homes. Manufactured homes represent a major market for affordable housing and the Biden Administration is the first to offer support to people trying to buy. The Department of the Interior announced $700 million for long-term water conservation projects across the Lower Colorado River Basin. What might decolonization in the US after a successful socialist revolution look like? Would there be one big government still? A sort of union of socialist republics? Something else entirely? Honestly I don't know how to ask.

Post-revolutionary decolonization (and realistically, the only kind of meaningful decolonization that is ever happening) in the US is a complicated matter given the relative success of the USAmerican genocidal project. The native population is 1.1% of the total population as of the 2020 census, this means that unlike in other, incomplete, settler projects such as the Sahrawi Republic or Palestine, it isn't feasible to restore the relation of the native population to the totality of the country. Regardless of population proportions though, the main focus of socialist decolonization is the struggle against any conflict between nationalities by removing the economic basis of that antagonism, which would then allow to also begin to remove the cultural elements that reinforced that dynamic of oppression. The focus is not to create more landlords but native, it's to remove the structure around private property in general, and make sure every worker, native or otherwise, receives as is needed. Taking into account the already relative dispossession of native people even before a pre-revolution context, there will have to be a great effort to bring the conditions of native people at the same level of non-native people.

Regarding the form of the new state, this will evidently depend on the form of the US state as the revolution happens. In other countries this would not be such a pressing question, but given the role and strength of the USAmerican bourgeoisie, it's not hard to believe that for any revolution to take place, the US state would need to be considerably weakened. Keeping this in mind, the strategy followed by all hitherto socialist revolutions is to not further fragment the new state. Given the complexity of navigating the construction of the first elements of a socialist economy, with the simultaneous effort needed for security, it would be both counterproductive and hypocritical to explicitly seek the independence of a portion of the population, as a part of the political program, it would be taking two steps forward and one step back. The communist revolution is national in form, because it happens within the structure of the capitalist state, but it is also international in content, because it explicitly repudiates the division of the proletariat along national lines.

We must understand that nationality, as much as it is relevant today and as much as it influences the course of history, is a byproduct of the development of capitalism, and that since it arose from the infrastructure to justify and protect it, it will also have to seize to exist and be replaced with proletarian internationalism for the duration of the transition to socialism-communism. Keeping this in mind, it would be hypocritical and regressive to, after taking control of the state and beginning the transition away from capitalism, to then turn around and divide the working class of the new country into even more national categories than they already are divided into.

The early USSR is a good comparison because of the sheer quantity of national diversity contained within the bounds of the corpse of the Tsarist Empire. The policy of the bolsheviks was neither of Russian supremacy or of immediate splintering into hundreds of nation states. Even during the very complicated and desperate context of the civil war, Finland was allowed its independence without much fuss from the CC, even if they were immediately incorporated into the German sphere via Von Mannerheim. When the 1936 constitution was being discussed, it was Stalin himself who went against the wishes of many bolsheviks to prevent the republics from gaining independence if they wished. No republics requested this however, because the oppressive mechanisms of capitalism and feudalism that had kept them under the Tsar's thumb for centuries had been replaced with an economic system that assured the equal development of all peoples within the USSR. The USSR itself was also not absolutely centralist, and the many constituent republics had varying degrees of autonomy, reflecting in some aspects the structure of democratic centralism.

I don't think the answer is to replicate the USSR, of course. The context and general state of things are very different, but there are lessons to be learnt from this successful, albeit flawed, tackling of the national question. Again though, we can't really speculate on the way that the US will look right before a revolution, and consequently the structures and problems a revolutionary government will have to start from.

Hi! I hope that I don't bother you with my question. I'm asking out of genuine interest for an analysis and also because it has been 5 years since I last read any asoiaf book.

Coming from you comparison of Cersei's and Tyrion's time as Hand, what obvious mistakes did Tyrion make? I was probably not paying too proper attention because Tyrion did a lot of sympathetic things like ending Jeoffrey's terror on Sansa, or came up with a great strategy to limit casualties during Stannis invasion. His downfall struck me as Cersei conspiring against him, and Tywin taking all the credit for the work his son did. But I feel like I missed something here, and don't have all the details. (Again genuine question, not a "how dare you imply that perfect innocent angel uwu did anything wrong" way!)

i originally wrote a much longer list for this but i think the myrcella episode sums up most of the problems w tyrions politicking in microcosm

the entire point of the scheme is to embarrass cersei and undermine her with the removal of one of her spies. a lot of tyrions moves in acok are ridiculously cersei-focused because it makes him feel good to get petty wins over her he enjoys doing kings landing spy vs spy antics. constantly asking ‘what is cersei doing? does cersei know what im doing?’ when the answer to both is invariably ‘spying on each other’. when theyre still actively fighting three major enemies all this effort to plot and spy feels like it could be focused elsewhere. the scene where they laugh at stannis and renly pettily stupidly fighting each other rather than them obviously an acknowledgment of this neither of them notice

the idea to tell all the small council members different plans and then identify whichever one he told the story cersei gets mad at him for as her spy is good on paper a lot of tyrions moves are motivated by what makes him feel clever. in practice its kind of a mess

the idea of littlefinger having harrenhal is initially proposed to him by tyrion (who notes littlefinger looks extremely excited) as a reward for him arranging a hypothetical myrcella arryn match and then snatched away annoying and alienating him. its then next raised when littlefinger has obviously requested it to kevan/the tyrells/etc as his prize after the battle of the blackwater and he gets it. this isn’t necessarily direct cause and effect littlefinger always wanted to be a big lord he could have wanted harrenhal on his own but it seems like he was told he would have it, formulated his affc taking-over-the-vale plan, and then found out tyrion was fucking with him. again getting one over littlefinger makes tyrion feel good its gratifying to have the biggest schemer at court going grr you used me as a pawn and lied to me do NOT do that shit again

one of the main strengths of the situation tyrion inherits is a hypercompetent small council he immediately sets to turning on him (petyr) and giving them dangerous personal secrets (varys) while fantasising about having all their heads on spikes over the city walls

the idea of an elaborate plan to prove pycelle of all people is an incompetent lannister toady is absurd. you can tell that by talking to pycelle once. worse this makes pycelle hatee tyrion when if tyrion hadnt noticed he is ALSO a lannister he could have benefited from this !!

the sending myrcella to dorne plot that tyrion commits to lest cersei thinks he wasn’t serious and this was a finding-the-mole ploy (in which he gave them plans so obviously shocking and upsetting to cersei that if theyre her allies theyd immediately tell her) is terrible on the face of it and in affc proves to also be terrible in practice. the two outcomes are she gets crowned or killed both explicitly to start a war with the lannisters + burning one of your two spare heirs on the outing pycelle as a fraud and annoying cersei and littlefinger plan is. misguided. its insane to me he goes through w it he could still say ohh i changed my mind + let cersei think she’s persuaded him out of it (giving her a false win) or even just say yeah i was fucking with you haha you fell into my trap and exposed your own spy but he doesnt do either

tyrion’s conclusion on the plan is ‘this doesnt actually prove i can trust varys and littlefinger. theyre just untrustworthy in a subtler way. nobody in the world is as smart as me nobody has ever been this good at politics’

Here’s all of my sonadow kids together! since I felt like doing 7 reference sheets will take a long time to do, I made something like this! It has all of their height differences, Lilac being the tallest and the twins being the smallest! Maybe at some point I will do their sheets but for now this will do. The other slides just show some dynamics between some of the sonadow kids, that are the most closest together or just stuck together, and I felt like showing them :) but in the end they all love eachother! This also took a long time to post because I’m no longer in my Sonic phase so I don’t know when I’ll be back to drawing again 🥲

Stuff about them, listed to oldest to youngest:

They were all created just like Shadow was created when he was in space colony ark. Shadow and Sonic's quill dna were used to create them all and Tails helped with their creation by creating the chamber/capsule just like shadow was in and were born/created as babies but Ruby was the only one adopted so she isn't biologically related.

Lilac is confident and bubbly, she has plant manipulation as her main power and she likes admiring nature and its animals and enjoys doing stuff outdoors like hiking, gardening or yoga.

Storm is quiet and arrogant, he has lightning as his main power and he likes using his electric guitar, thinks about forming a band with his friends and volunteers at G.U.N with his father, Shadow.

Ruby is calm and gentle, she has no powers of her own and she enjoys being in chao garden with the chaos and learning about their history, she would accompany her sister Diana or Cream the rabbit there sometimes! She also has a pet chao named Fluffy (she’s shown in the sketch drawing!)

Diana is anxious and reserved, she has out of control chaos power since birth from an accident and learning her newly formed psychic powers, but mostly uses hand to hand combat instead to defend herself from battles and from her nervousness of using power, she likes spending time with Ruby in the chao garden or do peaceful hobbies to make her feel less anxious.

Soarin is high spirited and kind, he has flight as his power and he likes to listen to tunes with his earbuds, likes helping anyone that needs it, is a bit heroic like his father Sonic, without being cocky, and he would sometimes happily join Lilac on her outdoor hobbies too.

Dash is cocky and energetic, he has speed as his main power and he likes annoying Storm whenever he can, be side by side with his twin sister, adventure like his father Sonic and having fun, getting into trouble, sometimes sarcastic and likes loud music blasting in speakers.

Molly is spunky and smart, she has super strength as her main power and she likes playing puzzle or strategy games, reading, being around tails and asking too many smart questions, battling and boasting when not thinking rationally, being side by side with her twin brother, also likes adventure and having fun, and loud music privately. (She’s basically has the mix of personality and some traits of Toph from the last airbender and Anais from tawog into one!)

For sure!! But this is a novel and a half so I apologize in advance (also most of this is from memory so anyone can correct me if I'm getting any details wrong)

I realized I'd seen barely any art showing what the victors would have looked like when they won their games. They were all just kids and I feel like it can be easy to forget that sometimes

For all of them, I made the background one of their main "weapons" but tried to make it look like its turning back on them instead since there are no victors as Haymitch said.

I'll try to explain them all more in depth individually going in the order I drew them:

Finnick Odair, 65th Games:

His main weapons were his trident and nets that he made with vines. His background is one of the nets ready to trap him.

Finnick was the youngest victor ever at only 14. I really really wanted to emphasize just how little that is. (Especially since we know exactly why the Capitol loved him from the start…) Once I actually drew him looking that little I had to step away for a bit because I made myself too sad…

Outside of just how horrific his age is as a concept, I tried to think about what circumstances would lead to him actually winning when surrounded by older tributes. I think he would have had to avoid any kind of fight he didn't have the upper hand in. We know that he got the most expensive sponsor gifts in the history of the games (a trident), so he probably got plenty of sponsors outside of that as well. Because of that I doubt he needed to go looking for supplies much if ever so it was easy to avoid people there. He was also probably in a career pack, despite his age, due to his training and his popularity, and they would have hunted other tributes down together much like the one we saw in the first book (safer in numbers). Once it was narrowing down and the pack broke is when I think he started catching people in nets. All of that is a long winded way of saying that's why, unlike the other victors I drew, I only show him with minor cuts and bruises.

Originally I was going to draw him with a kind of strained smile like he was acting for an audience from the start. But I decided I actually think its sadder if he believed he was popular because of his skill and strategy as a fighter and only learned the whole truth after he won and that's when he started acting more for the camera. Instead I gave him a more muted despair kind of look, like his world is crashing down. One of my favorite parts about the movies, mainly THG and ABOSAS, is when they give the career tributes at the end a moment of realization about what they've done, and I wanted to give Finnick his. I'm a person that believes Finnick had to have volunteered for his games. I think he would have legitimately believed in the propaganda the career districts were fed and had a bit of a (very middle school boy) ego about his abilities. (I was NOT expecting to write so much about his lmao)

Enobaria, 62nd Games

She's most well known for ripping someones throat out with her teeth. (Her background is her sharpened teeth getting ready to eat her.) This is treated by The Capitol, and by Katniss, as grotesque and terrifying blood lust (Which obviously the Capitol loves her for). However, and I'm not at all the first to say it, that sounds more like a terrified and desperate attempt to survive a fight she was losing and an example of hysterical strength. We know that Career packs have had bloody betrayals in the past and I can see Enobaria being a part of one of them. Enobaria doesn't have a canonical age, but I decided to put her on the younger side (15 or 16.) I can imagine some of the older, bigger tributes deciding she was the weakest link towards the end and that was the result. I tried to make the blood around her mouth and down her shirt look more faded, like she tried desperately to wipe it off (Also I had to step away from drawing again after I drew her little tooth gap)

I think she probably leaned into the bloodthirsty image afterwards as a way to protect herself and (maybe even started to believe it too)

Annie Cresta, 70th Games

Annie's known for losing her mind after seeing her district partner decapitated in front of her. After that, she ran off and hid until the game makers started an earth quake, which made the large dam in the arena break and cause a huge flood. Annie was the only survivor because she was the strongest swimmer. So I decided to make her background dark water that's churning up and over her head. I also think it can work well as a way to show her mental state in the moment (and afterwards) Annie is actually one of my favorite characters in the series and I've been writing out a plan for a possible comic series about her that'll go more in depth about my headcanons for her. (when I say comic series, I mean sketches and oneshots, not a full thing lmao) It wouldn't take place during her games (outside of a few flashbacks when I need more context), instead it would start at her Victory Tour and go into her first (and last) year as a mentor for the 71st Games. Which is a perfect segue to-

Johanna Mason, 71st Games

Johanna is actually first mentioned early on in the first book when Katniss is wondering if the reason Peeta is crying is because he plans to act weak and helpless as a strategy in the games. (Katniss, he just found out he has to fight in a murder tournament with his crush. He's just Sad.) She bases her theory on Johanna, who pretended she was a "sniveling, cowardly fool" in the arena until the final stretch of the games when she proved to be deadly with an axe.

OR….. Katniss is an unreliable narrator and Johanna was actually a terrified kid from a district with so few victors that she was the only name in the bowl for the Quarter Quell… This is totally just a personal headcanon of mine tho lol. I think there would have been a point in her games where she realized she actually had a chance and that's when she seemingly had a huge character turn around. Maybe there was a infighting with the careers that ended in multiple deaths and there was only a few left along with any other tributes hiding away like her. Maybe she poked around what was left of their camp, found the axe, and felt strength from her district.

Her background was a little harder for me. Just slapping a big axe behind her felt cheesy. But them I remembered her saying there was no one left that she loved. So instead I put trees that could represent her loved ones (Two fully grown trees, a younger "teenage" tree, and a sapling) that are in the process of being cut down.

Haymitch Abernathy, 50th Games

Don't worry, I'm almost done. I don't have as much to say about Haymitch since we know SO much about what happened in his games. But his background was probably the hardest for me. His main weapon was invisible after all. I thought maybe the axe that was used, but again, That would look cheesy. I tried (and kinda failed imo) to draw the cliff side the force field was on instead. But the main thing I did was split the three panels I had on the previous drawings into six for two reasons. 1: Because he had to face twice as many tributes in order to win and 2: Being the only victor of a district that's tributes are seen as fodder for the blood bath means he had to meet and watch the death of twice as many kids every year.

Like I said in the first post, she's well liked by the people she saves. And she often takes her magical girl form to go and help people around with anything and everything. It's often older people.

Strengths:

She's so sparky that she always manage to get the villains' attention, they often forget about other MagiKey users. This only work when she's working in team tho. Alone, her strength would be that she knows perfectly how to use her abilities in new and surprising ways, and always manage to catch everyone's off guard.

Weaknesses:

Kogane can brag how she wants about how she's "evil" and "selfish", but she does care about everyone. That makes her in reality selfless, and villains could take advantage of that.

I know Layla is the kind to always go solo, BUT Kogane would let her do her work alone, just come to help if anything happens, she doesn't force her to agree with her plans also, she can do whatever she wants, but Kogane just keeps an eye on her just in case she needs help. Also, they're pretty similar, that's why I choose Layla. They both hate Crowley!

First of all, Kogane absolutely loves her, they're so bestfriends! Sun and moon, what a good duo. Maybe I've got a duo ability coming soon 😃

Second, they're both energic and seems to like chaos, they'll find a way to support each others.

Well, they'd be such a good duo too because Shin is more on the strategic kind, and they can come up with plans at the last second, which could help Kogane a lot in her fights. Their abilities are helpful too, since Kogane often uses her hands to fight if needed, she can aim at the weaknesses of her target. They would also get along well!

When Kogane learned that Tsukiko could heal and buff her allies, she found it cool. Until she saw what's that it takes her own blood to heal, and she gets damaged when she buffs her allies. Like, it's useful, but Kogane doesn't want her to get hurt, she looks so frail! She'll only want her to use her abilities when the situation is REALLY bad. And she tries to get the least hurt possible. Kogane thought of teaming up with Tsukiko because she wanted to protect her.

That's the four main, if anyone wants to make their OC friends with mine it's no problems!

Lady d'Or and Shinii the Magical Girl Hunter

They first met after Lady d'Or won against a mid villain. It was not a big fight, really, no big damages. But she still waved at her fans and chatted with some.

That's when Shinii appeared out of nowhere in her Magical Girl form, grabbed both Lady d'Or's hands and started yapping about how this fight was awesome and how cool she was?

Lady d'Or looked at her with a puzzled look, what the hell was she doing? And the fact that Shinii's eyes constantly darted between Lady d'Or's eyes and MagiKey only made it weirder. Then after a while she finally found a way to excuse herself. That was creepy.

No but seriously, Lady d'Or might've been really scared. Her instincts were telling her to just run away.

Alice Littel received her magic key when she was quite young at the age of 7! It was quite a peculiar moment for her, and now here she is at the age of 16! Quite a veteran magikey user, is she not?

Abilities:

Down the Rabbit Hole (support) : Alice can be quite helpful with her first ability. She can summon large “rabbit holes” that allows her to transport anyone or anything to the other side of it. It is similar to portals in such regards. Of course, it can be quite chaotic and disastrous (plus even dizzying) if more rabbit holes were to be used, so Alice uses two unless absolutely necessary.

The Rule is Jam To-morrow and Jam Yesterday — but Never Jam To-day (support) : Shortened to “Jam To-morrow,” it relates to the pocket watch dangling from Alice’s waist. Alice can turn back time or fast forward it. The catch is that Alice can only turn it back to a certain point in either tomorrow or yesterday, she can never turn back time if not a day had been rewinded or forwarded. Only Alice has memories of these time rewinds and fast forwards. So she seems quite mad each time.

Everlasting Mad Tea Party* (offense) : This ability can only happen if there’s magikey or magisword users present. A long table with plates and a tea set are summoned. Those helping Alice are considered to be guests while Alice is the host. The villains? Those people are the main course and are shrunk into the tea pot. It’s almost ritualistic with each person having to sing what they are bringing to the tea party, the food item being summoned around the tea pot. Once the song is over, the tea pot fills. It is meant to render the opponent unconscious.

*It is similar to the cake song scene in Madoka Magica essentially!

Mental/Emotional Strength: ★★★★★ (She’s quite strong. It’s hard to break her down especially considering that she possibly has rewinded or fast-forwarded time who knows how many times. She has to be strong for herself even if others perceived her as “mad”)

Physical Strength: ★★★☆☆ (She built some strength over the years! Not too much, but just decent. Most physical attacks get rabbit hole’d anyways)

Strengths: Due to being a magikey users for over 9 years, Alice is quite knowledgeable about a lot of things. She can easily support other magikey users and can prolong enemies until more allies arrive.

Weaknesses: She needs to have allies. She cannot go solo and she can only rewind or fast-forward so much time until she finally breaks.

Alice’s magical girl color is blue not because of Alice in Wonderland but because of the usual tropes the blue magical girl has! I wanted her to seem elegant too.

I’d like to believe Alice is usually very high up in ranking due to both her aesthetic and personality. Plus her powers are quite overpowered when paired with the right people

Alice has paired up with many magikey users, but none are permanent. Most of them are for convenience-sake, but she doesn’t mind really.

Alice is only known to a select few of people. So I will say this here, Alice is transfem maverique and goes by she/he pronouns. In this au, Alice’s parents are divorced and her mother won custody of both Alice, Lorina, and Frederick.

The relationship of Tecna and Timmy is so romantic.

It may be not as visible, because the show has couples being romantic in a more classical way, but Timmy and Tecna actually have so many tender, gentle and vulnerable moments. They are so sweet together, and awkward, and then out of nowhere hit you with the deepest scenes imaginable. They are so Jane-Austen's-characters'-coded lol.

Like this short scene of a game from season 2 (first gif)??? This is so romantic and sensual, you wouldn't expect it from them.

Their conflict in the second season was that Tecna at first cared about rather performative bravery (literal fighting, close combat) + wanted something more than just talking about their hyperfixation. Timmy, on the other hand, thought in a more logical way: he knew his strengths, and that he's better at strategy and computers, and wasn't interested in posing as a hero just to feel good about himself (this scene where he realizes he isn't strong enough against Trix and so he gives away the Codex). He also wanted to get closer to Tecna, so it makes sense he tried to connect on their common hobby, at first not realizing that Tecna, with her emotional growth, started to want a little more than this. And you can understand them both, and both have good points.

And Timmy is a freaking badass. He always thinks logically (I'd argue that even more than Tecna, like this scene with Codex, where she called him a coward for not doing something that was doomed from the start), and so the scene in the third season hits so much. You know which one. All Winx cry and Riven tries to comfort Timmy (I really like the fact it's Riven who does that btw, but this is a material for another post), trying to bring reason to him, politely saying that there's no way Tecna is still alive, and Timmy says in a calm and sure way that he knows she is alive. If Timmy says something like that, you know he's right.

I guess the scene from the second season, when Winx go to fight Lord Darkar and specialists stay at the back, sums up their relationship in the best way: Timmy stays inside the ship, because it is his role to navigate it, and he and Tecna look at each other, just sighing each other's names (though they cannot hear it). Their love is so, so deep. And a relationship like the one they have wouldn't fit everyone, since both of them don't need to spend as much time together as others, nor do they have to say as much (but if they say how much they love each other, oh they say it), and they both share their hyperfixation/special interest, but all of this works perfectly for them. They're a match made in heaven. And come to think of that, we have this popular fanon that Tecna is on the spectrum of autism, but I wonder if there is any fanon like this for Timmy? I also feel like being demisexual or graysexual fits them both (maybe I just like the idea of Tecna, a character whose main arc is understanding and expressing emotions, feeling sexual desire only to someone who she has a strong connection with, I guess it feels kinda poetic to me).

Completed Cassette Beasts last night (not the DLC yet) and I love this game so much I must tell the whole world about it.

First off, the story is perfect for what it's trying to accomplish. It has its occasional serious moments, mostly to build backstory for a character, but it largely stays out of the way of the player. Its reminiscent of Pokémon in this sense, except those moments of character-building don't fall flat. The cast is legitimately charming, making this one of the few games where I'm glad I'm forced to lug an NPC with me everywhere I go. Also it's implied that the world has similar mechanics to Infinity Train, a very good show that everyone reading this should watch in its entirety.

The combat system is much more compelling than Pokémon as well. Doubles is the default format, which on its own introduces loads more strategy. AP as a replacement for PP forces you to actually strategize instead of clicking the biggest move and sweeping the main story. It also cuts down on forced rests, since the only combat resource that carries between battles is health. The fact that everything is a status effect lets you do very interesting things when you stack them, and the fact that all these status effects are listed with a description makes those interesting things actually understandable.

The best mechanic this game introduces, though, is the sticker system. Eight move slots per beast may sound like a lot, but when "moves" can also be passive abilities (and also AP forcing you to have several different strengths of moves) it becomes necessary. Letting you combine passives is interesting enough on its own, but there's several that let you trigger other moves. If the prospect of engine-building in a monster collector doesn't make your mouth water you should probably stop reading my blog.

The game definitely isn't perfect, but my gripes with it are minor and almost certainly a result of the weird way I play games. Overspill damage makes some sense as a way to level-check certain fights, but once you reach the post game it mostly serves to make mass recording tapes even more tedious (also custom starter makes it sooooo easy to ignore level checks even with overspill). Once you hear a partner's voice line while resting you'll never hear it again, even if it's something really generic like how much they like spending time with you. I worked hard to romance my partner, let me hear their voice!

Overall, if you've ever wanted a slightly more mature single-player Pokémon experience (or just wanted a good modern Pokémon game), pick up Cassette Beasts. And pick Candevil. Glory to Miasmodeus.

Celeste is one of the 3 characters part of Leon's battle team in UTDP.

Beneficial similarities:

Neither of them conform to what society expects of them.

Dead-set on their dreams, even if others might said dreams to be overly ambitious and/or unrealistic. In fact, they were so set on their ambitions that they were some of the most desperate characters to escape to the point of sacrificing another person's life to escape. Only difference is that Leon's dreams often change, especially depending on the girl he's interested in at that moment.

Both of their Trigger Happy Heart events share similar themes of them secretly worrying about other people they care finding them weird for their dreams and true feelings. That could potentially be something they could mutually relate to.

The closest living being in Celeste's life is her beloved cat, Grand Bois Chéri Ludenberg. As time goes by they would end up getting closer, especially if Leon would give him treats (only the *best* treats would do), but they would still annoy each other every now and then.

Leon is presumably close with his family, but he especially cares about his younger cousin Kanon (in what way is uncertain, but he usually refers to her as a sister type.) Given Kanon's obsessed taboo feelings towards Leon, she wouldn't approve of him and Celeste being together. She and Celeste would likely have a pretty indifferent relationship since they don't really have anything in common and Celeste would most likely find her behavior and way of speaking annoying, but their relationship has a high chance of turning chaotic when they would be forced to be around each other and Kanon provokes her about Leon.

Since they are both in the same class at Hope's Peak, their friends/acquaintances from that class would be mutual and familiar for the both of them.

Leon would love to spoil her with gifts whenever he can (as long as it doesn't require too much legwork), and show off his skills to prove that he's worthy of being her knight.

Celeste would feed into Leon's competitive spirit, finding it immensely entertaining. Leon isn't interested in most strategic games, but once he gives it a shot, he refuses to give up, making him a formidable opponent.

I picture their mutual love language involving their competitive banter and challenges.

Combined Lifestyles:

Leon would be bored partaking in Celeste's elegant hobbies most of the time, but also grow to appreciate certain goth aesthetics (making sure not to touch anything unless he'd want to face Celeste's wrath).

His initial disinterest in Celeste's gambling matches quickly turns to fascination once he witnesses the high stakes and victories she commands.

Celeste would reluctantly agree to watch Leon's matches, but only if she has a parasol with her in the stands and has someone fetch her refreshments.

She wouldn't partake in Leon's own casual, uncouth hobbies and lifestyles unless she was feeling curious and fascinated by living such a life.

Hi. I binged like 80 chats in a row and I have opinions(tm) about physical strength and general power stuff of the brothers. Mostly just strength related things, but I tried to cover most of their battle stuff.

Yes I know, yes I know, "they're ranked as siblings by power blabla", but that's LAME. So here are my personal takes mostly for fun. Canon is dead and I ate it.

Also I finished the dividers and general aesthetics of this blog woo

★ Lucifer.

Generally the strongest, period, can and WILL kill almost anyone without much issue or even second thought

Physical strength, however? He’s not the best, as he doesn’t rely on it at all for battle / conflict

He didn't need it in heaven, after all

(Beel was his brawns and he was already a powerful angel so it never was a requirement)

I don't see him actively working out (anymore, at least), so most of his strength is merely his baseline

His main tactic conflict wise is intimidation.

Cough giving MC death threats cough

Very prideful of himself in battle, obviously

Rarely would ever use any sort of dirty tricks

Would probably prefer to go down the "honorable way"

Target his brothers though and he WILL play every trick in the book with little regard to his pride or his own life

This fuck looks like he knows swordsmanship and is probably the only of the brothers who does so

(except maybe Satan who is learning just to copy / be better than him)

Either that or he knows fancy sword dances for angel rituals he cannot partake in anymore (and doesn't do them anymore)

Diavolo has photos of him doing said dances but his lips are triple sealed since it is a heavily touchy subject

★ Mammon.

Canonically this man is physically weak (or at least has a weak complexion / scrawny arms)

Probably the most disappointing in terms of strength because he is literally the second born

His saving grace is his unholy speed and dirty tricks, using it to cover his weaknesses / lack of physical strength.

A LOT of dirty tricks and bs magic stuff. So so many. Never ends

He’s the living embodiment of the “random bullshit go!!!” meme

You know Looney tunes? Yeah this man has the Bugs bunny's levels of bullshit

But he has the best stamina out of his brothers (so he can run away from his debts)

Doesn't train because he's already perfect as it is (<- that's his ego talking he can barely pick up the weights at Beel's gym)

Honor is for the dead type of person. Nothing is out of the table in battle

(^ that makes him terrifying to fight against btw)

He either tries to intimidate (imitating Lucifer) or sweet-talk his way out of conflict

It usually just pisses off his adversary more which actually leads to the fights starting, but hey, he tried 乁⁠(⁠ ⁠•⁠_⁠•⁠ ⁠)⁠ㄏ

★ Leviathan.

Physical strength is shit.

he will get his shit kicked if he tries to brawl with almost anyone

Except maybe the lowest hanging fruit (humans)

Magical or general strength is decent, but he's definitely not the greatest in battle out of the brothers

^ he's kinda insecure about this and he wishes he were stronger (he sulks about it)

Wishes that actual irl battles were like Fire Emblem or strategy games bcs he's actually good in those

Update: I didn't make it clear (mb lol) but I see him as the best strategist of the brothers by far, he just isn't good at front-line action

^ Being away from the front lines keeps the pressure away from him for the most part, and it avoids him getting riled up and acting rash

He once tried to workout with Beel but quickly got overwhelmed because Beel shoved 200kg weights onto him thinking it was an reasonable starting point

So he kinda has trauma(tm) about it

Despite his garbage physical prowess, he WILL start fights and get riled up easily

He goes onto his demon form immediately when he wants to fight

^ bcs his strength isn't great, and he needs any boost he can get

Plus, awful anger management

My man will get onto a fist fight with the demon equivalent of a redditor over anime waifus and he will lose

★ Satan.

As the literal embodiment of Wrath, he does pack quite a punch and will maul you to death with only his fists. No problems at all

But that's merely his baseline strength (which is a lot) since he doesn’t really train physically

Probably focuses on other areas (read: intelligence) instead of physical strength.

Which is ironic because he could kick Lucifer's ass in a fist fight if he actually trained more

But oh well. Books do be booking

Surprisingly strategic while in fights, although not above Going Apeshit

Funnily enough the least likely of the brothers to enter a fight

Has read The Art Of War and will quote it just to be a smartass

★ Asmodeus.

Physically? Weak.

Probably the weakest of the brothers, having more or less the strength of a human (and on the weaker side of that).

He doesn’t train whatsoever; Likes his slender figure and muscles “ruin” that.

However, he makes up for it on the "trickster" scale.

As the Avatar of Lust, he will probably go the charm route instead of wanting to directly fight his enemies, or he make someone else do the dirty work for him.

Think of Mammon but make it a bit less scummy, tricks wise.

His go-to is sweet talk.

Something something the Avatar of Lust being physically weak since sex is considered an act of vulnerability and therefore the lowering of one’s guard something something

Something something the poetic narrative of the Avatar of Lust having only power through Communication something something

★ Beelzebub.

Contrary to Asmo; he does lift for days and can pack quite the punch, being one of the stronger brothers physically despite being one of the youngest.

I don't see him caring much for magic or other types of strength, he is content in packing the punch and has the capabilities to back him up.

Fight wise he will probably punch the problems away

Maybe use one or two tricks he’s learned

Mostly relies on his intuition and gut and it surprisingly works out

Nothing fancy; Dictionary definition of all muscle no brain battle wise

Literally one of the scariest brothers to ever fight he will actually beat you to a bloody pulp

And make a smoothie out of it

★ Belphegor.

This fucker doesn't lift at all you can't tell me shit

At MOST he'll accompany Beel to the gym and would sleep at the benches

The strength he has is the strength he was born with

Which isn't a lot, but still above human average by quite a lot

More or less demon standard of strength. Maybe a slightly below it

But he's still above most demons by a mile in other regards, mostly magic prowess

He's stronger than Levi because I think it would be hilarious that the dude who sleeps all day is stronger than him

(or you can make him really physically strong just because it'd be funny to see the sleepy dude kick ass)

(either way is funny as shit go ham)

It's been a while- SO- one of the AUs I have on the back-burner is what I call the "Swapverse"... a kind of swap AU. Not everyone is swapped, but I tried to at least swap the majority of the main cast (the Battle Brawlers).

I said I'll do designs since last year and I finally got around to do the designs for Dan and Runo a few weeks ago.

As for some info:

In the swapverse, Dan is the haos brawler of the team. He's still quite similar to his canon counterpart, as he rushes into battle with little to no strategy and prefers to use raw strength.

Meanwhile, Runo, is the pyrus brawler. Unlike Dan who takes a while to realize that this isn't just a game, Runo quickly realizes there's something going on.

Some more notes

Each swapped character swaps attribute and guardian bakugan, so as I mentioned, Swap Dan is haos, and he has Tigrerra as his guardian.

This also means that Swap Runo gets Drago.

This AU also becomes a huge "Would B do what A did?". For example, I don't see Swap Runo yeeting Drago in the river like canon Dan, instead, the two may come to agree that they both did mistakes and decide to try be better partners to one another.

Some scenarios ma also play differently. Like, when Dan gets in a fight with one of his classmates over simulated battles, he does get called out by Runo and Drago, which makes him run away.

Another note on the swaps, backstories are kinda mixed and remixed. For example, Dan's family is the one to own a family restaurant (mainly ran by Miyoko), Dan does try to help how he can. Funny enough, him and Runo meet a bit more earlier than canon, since they kinda end up bumping into one another when Dan needed to fetch some ingredients.

Afterwards, the two mainly hang out at the restaurant when they aren't brawling or at school. Runo also helps Miyoko since Dan is a terrible cook (he can't really cook food- but somehow can bake??? Tho it takes a while for that to get revealed since people don't really trust him considering his track record).

Some other swaps I have planned are Marucho <-> Shun and Julie <-> Alice. I'll give more details on them once I design them or if I get questions about them.

What's your interpretation of a NuzVi fight scene?

Where all three are in a relationship, and how that would influence their strategies in combat

At first i couldnt tell if you meant like... fighting against eachother in a sparring manner or fighting against something else as a team-

but anyway uwu

In a fight scenario- V would be the main head on fighter- she has a powerful drive and focus and oddly enough has a lot of body strength put into her attacks too, giving her blows extra weigh to it- as much as shes a pretty good shot, she prefers hands on fights with claws and blades- often times Uzi and N can be the distractions for her to sneak up on enemies too- she has done this alot before in the past- sneaking up on Thad, Doll, and solver Uzi- she isnt into defense much which almost costs her several times since she keeps continuously fighting back rather than being tactful about it or retreat which may be her biggest flaw and why she needs N.

N is more into defending his teammates and long range attacks for support, hes an excellent shot if he doesnt get distracted and very quick and decisive to act immediately for protecting others. tho usually this is at the cost of his own safty so sometimes V and Uzi worry for him. he doesnt like using his claws much and usually even in sparring its hard to ask of him to use his full power on anyone cuz he doesnt want to risk actually hurting anybody. Hes a pacifist that would prefer to defend and keep an eye on the others or act as a diversion and support the others any way he can rather that being in the main fight head on unless he absolutely has to.

Uzi is a wildcard, jack of all trades, master of none, shes new to this, she gets scared easily, and her fear sometimes pushes her to a breaking point where the solver takes over. but even then, the solver goes based off her AI, shes the most tactful of the 3, shes smart and could use words just as much as fists and teeth, her aim is impeccable and she likes messing with her foes mind and scaring/threatning them just as much as fighting them. she fills up any lacking spaces that the other two may leave, if shes needed for defense, attack, support or anything else- she is quick to come up with something to make things go smoothly- she wants to keep herself and her partners safe, and might sometimes act emotionally but never impulsively.

Nobody gets to hurt their family a second time.
