ok i will consult mashblr on this. ive been working on recreating the mash camp in sims 4 and its gone p well but i was saving the actual medical building for last bc its layout has absolutely baffled me for the entire duration of this project (since nov). there’s plenty of maps of the 4077, but there’s only one that attempts to lay out the inside of the medical building and it’s not the right shape, so i’m basically working from scratch. i’ve just been trying to take angles from the show to figure out how it’s set up, and i’m not even fully committed to accuracy because the show contradicts the layout constantly - there is no accuracy. i just want something that makes sense, and it’s legit unattainable. im frustrated by now fdhskjf

so,,, it’s an equal-ended T shape, right. for a second, i was like, ok, i’ll section each of the ends of the T into three: pre op + scrub/xray + OR in one, post op + storage + the lab in the second, and radar/klinger’s office + henry/potter’s office in the third. then something mucked that up - the fact that, i’m not sure how to describe this but the... armpit of the left arm of the T has a door there. which could just be, ok, extra door, but whenever theyre shown going through that door, it’s to one of two places - into radar’s office (which has at least three doors to it; entrance, into the colonel’s office, and into the OR) or into a hallway with a door on every wall (entrance, OR, Post Op, and into radar’s office). now, i don’t like that that hallway exists, because it seems stupid to me to have a hallway between the OR and post op that the corpsman would have to be trying to navigate stretchers through, but we know it’s there because sometimes they put casualties there when they have too many to fit in pre-op. 

i could put the hallway behind radar’s office with a separate door leading to it from outside (though then it’d be in the back and... ?????), but the thing with radar’s office is.. well, again, i’m thinking in terms of the sims, im not versed in irl architecture + blueprinting. but radar’s office is square-shaped but it’d have to be diagonal within the building for that ‘armpit’ door to be flat on one wall right? within the sims that’d be a jaunty ass angle. like ??? i just. do not know how to make it work :c anyone hav any thoughts
