Naomi here. Things have been... a little difficult for us lately. Not only am I - ugh - an elder now, but my dearest friends, Sarah and Nicole, have both gone home to be with The Watcher! Oh... and their husbands too, I guess. Watcher rest their souls.

And then there's my daughter, Grace... please, good people of Willow Creek, pray for her! Since Phoebe left to get married, Stephen and I have had to give Grace more chores to do - and yes, she does them, but she does not do them joyfully, or with a servant's heart! Oh, she's just as bad as her sister - how will she ever find a decent husband?!

I ended up having to ask Anna Hall of all people for advice on how to keep Grace in line - she is the most experienced of us ladies, after all, and she does have six children. But she was as useless as ever - all she did was cry and talk about her poor late husband. I don't know what I expected, honestly.

I guess I'll just have to keep praying. Oh, that girl... Watcher help her. May He help us all.

Significant Jother Prelims!

The prelims for Jacket 4 will come in two waves after the winner’s bonus poll ends on Sunday, so get your votes in there.

First, there will be the prelims to decide between love interests for Johns/Jacks/Variants who had multiple submitted. There are eight of those matches, and they will be released throughout the day on Monday, July 10.

Then, there will be the prelims to decide which single nomination significant jothers will make the bracket. If a nomination was submitted multiple times as the only love interest, they are already in. There are 11 polls of four significant jothers, and the winner of each will make the bracket. Prelims were seeded by submission order, and those polls will be released throughout the day on Wednesday, July 12.

The Smith Family Album: Volume VII

Graduation finally comes around for the Kellynch Hall residents, and everyone passes their finals - just. There’s just time for one last spat between Walter and Anna over Bennet’s affections, before everyone departs for their new lives.

It doesn’t change anything though, and after graduation, Anna and Bennet move in together, finding themselves a rather trendy apartment in nearby Sanditon. (Such a pair of exhibitionists!)

Their first guest in their new home is Anna’s sibling, Louisa, who is keen to get the recent graduates’ advice on their academic ambitions.

Bennet and Anna are as passionate about each other as ever, but neither sees any need for their relationship to be exclusive, at least for now.

I don’t consider my Sims’ LTWs fixed until after they graduate/age up to adult, so I ignore them until then - after all, how many of us really knew at the age of 13 what we wanted to do with the rest of our lives? I also almost always reroll the LTW that the game automatically assigns to them, as it’s usually either inappropriate, dull, or both - although with @lamare-sims’​s fabulous ‘LTW Chooser’, I’m hoping that will now be a thing of the past. 🤩

Jacob Hall here. It's been two days, and I already can't stand that girl my son Joe married. She don't cook or clean, she don't do what we tell her to... she ain't no woman of The Watcher, I'll tell you that now.

All she does is look at herself in the mirror, like she's some kinda beauty queen or something. Thinks she's too good for us. Don't she know vanity's a sin?

Even Anna thinks she's no good - and that's, like, the only thing we agree on these days. We should never have let Joe marry her - should have stopped him before he put that ring on her finger. He's stupid, that boy. Just went and married the first girl who looked at him right.

Whatever. At least my youngest boy Josh turned out alright. He's a young adult now, y'know - time to start thinking about his future. I hope he won't make the same stupid mistakes Joe made. I raised him to be a real man, a man of The Watcher, and he deserves a real woman.

↳ i’d be surprised to find people who haven’t read this series, but it’s the definition of “the magnus archives is a workplace comedy”. also, alasdair stuart has actually read some clips of this on Twitch, so that’s a fun bonus.

In accordance with the Ride or Die Pact of 2009, Jonathan Sims can call upon Georgie Barker at any time for aid with no strings attached. Despite their rocky history, their childhood friendship, and Jon’s barely recovered alcoholism, this pact is sacred and must be upheld.

Georgie Barker may regret this. She may regret it when she discovers that the world is full of monsters and eldritch gods and dickhead managers. She may regret it when a punk rocker who should be dead collapses on their doorstep, a teenager again who needs their help. She may regret it when her stupid ex-boyfriend starts selling his soul for knowledge and the ability to keep his new family safe.

But she probably won’t. Georgie isn’t scared of anything - not a Clown’s apocalypse, not the apocalypse that Jon is destined to begin, and not Jon’s own loss of humanity.

Maybe she should be.

This list is in no particular order just the ones that came to my head as I went and the ones I had in my gif hunt tag, some of these may be the rpc definition of dark skin which is anyone darker than Michael B. Jordan but I had to put them on this list because the rpc really need to know people darker than Michael B. The Kellynch students are very close to graduating, so there’s just time for one more get-together before they do. Unfortunately, it backfires horribly, as everyone’s infidelities and repressed desires finally come back to bite them on the backside, and things get...complicated!

First, we have Benjamin flirting with Anna, and upsetting both fiancée Clara and her cousin Beth (who, up until this moment, has always had a crush on him) in the process.

Bertram, on the other hand, is too caught up in his growing friendship with Beth to notice anything amiss.

Then, Ambrose picks exactly the wrong moment to show Cassandra just how much he enjoyed catching up with her again, throwing his relationship with Isabella into turmoil!

See, he had a brilliant time! He has yet to face the fallout, however.

Walter also decides that he doesn’t want to miss out on all the fun.

What a mess!!! (I love this game.)

But, at last, these two finally notice each other! They’ve been the best of friends for a while now (and have three bolts for each other), but sometimes you can’t see what’s right under your nose. Like almost everyone else, Bertram has been bewitched by Anna since they were at school together, and Beth never thought she’d meet anyone who could compare to Benjamin. But now that they have seen the true colours of their first loves, it becomes blindingly obvious to them that they were made for each other!
