I’m supposed to be writing my Bullevelyan fic. I need to write my Bullevelyan fic, actually. Because reasons.

But I can’t stop thinking about her… Silvhen, my Lavellan.

The story of what she and Solas found together, across millennia and against all odds. The story of two people who lived in a world they built together while saving Thedas… and the story of her search for Solas and what her life became between the Inquisition and the events of The Veilguard. Who she found, who she saved, and who will save her if she loses Solas forever.

I’ve written a ton of it, but it’s all out of order. And I’ve only posted two parts of it, Stronger Than She Feels and Leave it Locked, which I need to merge together somehow.

Blackwall was a professional soldier. It was his literal job. I often think about the adjustment it would have been to suddenly be fighting alongside bolts of electricity, risen bodies, Antivan Fire potions, and... bees. Blackwall is a champ.

Thought I recently had about Silvhen Lavellan

Post Trespasser Silvhen won't let Cullen fix her hair for her. She brushes it but getting it up one handed is difficult so it's a wild curly mess.

Upon visiting the couple Dorian's first comment

Silvhen Lavellan

Main story: The older brother of Inquisitor Velahris Lavellan, Silvhen had quite an eventful life before they reunite at Adamant fortress. He left the clan in his early teens in search of his parents, eventually finding a group of Grey Wardens who agreed to take him to them. Thankfully, they reunited without incident - although, after years of traveling with Wardens, he is inspired to take the Joining and becomes a Grey Warden himself. He travels with his fellow Wardens for a while before they convalesce at Adamant, where he reunites with his younger sister(now the Inquisitor). He joins the Inquisition with the remainder of the loyal Wardens, and helps lead his brothers into battle to fight for the Inquisition. Over the course of the Inquisition, he has a minor fling with Iron Bull - mostly for pleasure, though he does enjoy his company greatly(finally, a drinking buddy that can keep up with him). After the Inquisition disbands, he joins the rest of his family in Kirkwall and starts a new life for himself, teaching his sister’s children how to wield weapons and fight for their lives. Much to his delight, they’re spectacularly good at it.

been awhile since i've played inquisition but i decided to make one of my inquisitor's younger sisters :) haven't figured out who emith will romance yet but i think this playthrough will be fun

Silvhen’s turn to shoot Solas a “did you just” expression that does absolutely nothing to hide how she really feels... And when Solas turns around to face her, he sees it.

He sees how she sees him and it undoes him.

So, I learned about this thing called “My Heritage”

And they have an AI that let’s you animate old photographs.

So, logically, I had it try to animate my art.

Like, hm, yeah, okay there’s some trial and error here since her mouth was already open in the picture, but, its still pretty cute!

Nearly front-facing with mouth closed seems to work the best? It looks like the movements repeat, so that was good for being able to predict how well things would turn out (clearly the tech was not made with elf ears in mind, however)

This one turned out to be my FAVORITE. In the last, it fit Aislin’s personality pretty well (almost looking like she had the hint of a smirk, very in control, etc), but this one really felt like what the tech promised: bringing the person to life.

Yes, its repeated movements... but it feels so much like Mellan. She looks curious and hopeful and a little unsure and... AH! THAT���S MY BABY!

But then, Icarus flew too close to the sun.

And I tried it with a picture of Mellan with her eyes closed.

Question - should I make aesthetic boards or something else for Vel’s brothers, Silvhen(a Grey Warden) and Ethelan(a mage from the Kirkwall circle)? I want to develop their characters more but I’m not sure how. I’d really appreciate if you sent suggestions/questions! 💕 For more info:
