Ngl, I will have all my characters for Dragon Age Inquisition being connected to one another, alongside with Ravenna (thought she, as an adult, is more connected to Veilguard), and in the most simple of ways.

I will have Arryn (my male Warrior Human), Ravhona and Ravenna (whose real name is not truly Ravenna Calante Pavan - that is a name she chose for herself once in the city) all being raised in the wild by Mama Bear Velahris and her sister Belahrian.

You see, Velahris, Belahrian and Ravenna are all Dalish Elves, all belonging to the Lavellan Clan, and initially resided in the area of the Free Marches, with Bela being a mage and the First of her Clan and Vela instead being Chief Huntress.

But when baby Ravenna (literally a baby, we are talking around the year of age) started to display some Mage powers, both Bela and Vela knew what it meant: Ravenna would be sent away.

Neither sisters would allow it, of course, but they knew that there was not much to be done about it.

So Vela took baby Ravenna with her and left the clan behind, not giving one single fuck about anything but the tradition and whatever bs they were blabbering about, and trying to put as much distance between herself and her clan, she headed straight south, toward the Hinterlands.

There, she found her way in the mountains and built a lodge for herself and Ravenna, and together, they would live their lives in realative tranquillity.

Around a year or so after that, Bela, filled with guilt and worry for her sister, would join Vela in the Hinterlands, bringing with her two orphaned children, Arryn and Ravhona, that she found along the way there.

and so, for a few years they would just live all together, with the three youngling being raised by the two sisters together.

I AM HONESTLY SUCH A SUCKER FOR FOUND FAMILY.

And I am living for Velahris being as tough as a mountain (not for anything she was nicknamed "Stone-Hearted" by the people of the Clan) but having such soft spot for children, she would see an orphan needing of a mother figure, and she would be like: you are my child now.

And all these bebes deserve SO MUCH LOVE.

SO MUCH LOVE.

I need to hurry up and draw Belahrian and Arryn as well, because fml YES.

Just one big happy family.

Am living.

Also, fun fact: Ravenna got her name as an homage to her elder sister Ravhona! And the "Canonical" Inquisitor, among all my ocs here, is Belahrian, my Dalish Mage :D

(I need to see if their ages do work for them, but for now this is a concept that it's pretty dear to my heart, so I hope to be able to bring it forward lolol).

I already know I will end up creating another Lavellan character and probably a Trevelyan one as well.

My Lavellan mage will be Varric's lady love because fml I need this like the air I breathe (and I need my Lavellan mage to be sisters in all but blood with Velahris and Ravenna because YES. I have a sort of small idea for the three of them, so to speak).

My Trevelyan Rogue will instead be Cullen's lady love, because the man is a freaking dork and I need him to be putty in her hands.

Also, the one thing that just makes me giddy is thinking that all my girls share a piece of history together, probably before Inquisition, and they travelled together for sometimes.

fml I need.

We are really going with the whole "Maiden, Mother, Crone" with my Inquisitors/Rook, eh?

Ravenna as the Maiden,

Add also all the Lunar symbolism to it, and I have the first part of my Sun, Moon and Star Trifecta lololol

Velahris will hold one, when she is not too busy wielding an axe.

My girl is like a freaking tank.

Because I need -I ABSOLUTELY NEED- for Blackwall to see her basically chasing away black bears from her camp in the Hinterlands, screaming and hollering like a freaking banshee, and go all heart eyes for her and already planning on how to ask her to share some mead with her.

Like.

He saw her wrestling bears for fun and was a goner.

I like also to imagine that while people might be a bit wary of Blackwall because of his grouchy appearance, with Velahris we have a case of "he is scary, but his wife is scarier" (sorry, I just live for this trope, I adore).

I NEED THIS.

also, fml I am living for Velahris and Ravenna (not her real name at this point) being like polar opposite sisters: Ravenna being all fashionable, liking the finest things in life, and having as favourite time that of reading harlequin-style romantic novel in front of the fireplace, with a glass of wine and a small box of chocolate...and then you have Velahris who basically lives in the wood like a freaking hermit, wrestles Bears and Wolves and only eat meat from animals that she has killed with her bare hands and that is only cooked over campfire.

So, as you might know, a while back I started playing DA: Inquisition, and I decided right away that the Inquisitor would be the eldest sibling of my Rook in Veilguard.

So, allow me to present my Inquisitor, Velahris Lavellan, oldest sibling of my darling Ravenna here.

Too bad that there isn't a Barbaric class in Dragon Age, because it would have fit her like a glove.

She can be definitely found in the mountains battling bears (she got a grudge against them, since one black bear basically took away half of her ear. She got him back by taking his pelt.) or in taverns listening to merry songs lol.

Also, fml, I just decided that my Rook is going to be the younger sister of my Inquisitor, Velahris Lavellan.

Like, I can see Ravenna just poking at her sister to actually spill the beans about Varric (because yes, I ship my Inquisitor with Varric AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME FROM DOING SO LOL.) because SHE KNOWS that her sister is hiding something.

Like, she just cannot stop mentioning him in EVERY SINGLE LETTER they exchange (even if she always refers to him in a professional manner), but Ravenna CAN READ through those lines.

Because yes, I am going with the whole shtick of Stoic sarcastic emotionally constipated older sister vs fun-loving, little ray of sunshine (to hide away the sadness) younger sister.

I mean, this just means that Ravenna is already equipped to deal with Lucanis, considering she had to deal with her sister's grumpiness HER ENTIRE LIFE.

But one thing is for sure: at least Lucanis will make a better coffee lol though, I do envision some rivarly between him and Ravenna because MY GIRL CAN COOK (sorry, but as an Italian, I cannot for the life of me have an Italian-Based Character that has no idea how to cook. It's a matter of personal pride lol).

Like, I have to be honest, from what little I know about Lucaris and his personality, I can see him as a bit of a grouchy sad cat.

So now I want Ravenna to be his safe haven, from when things are so dire that not even a good cup of coffee can chase troubles away.

Now I just have to see how things are going to be in general, considering that I made Ravenna's sister a Mage lololololol

gods am stocked.

This will be running in the back of my mind for a while, I already know that things are brewing.

H: It’s not hard to notice, you know. The whole ‘making calf-eyes at each other during important missions’ thing is a little obvious. Not to mention how you look at her... And the kitchen maids are only too happy to share whispers of your nocturnal activities. Or at least the fact that you hardly spend the night in your own room.

V: Not so loud, please! Andraste’s sacred knickers, you really haven’t learned the art of subtlety.

H: Neither have you, from what I hear. Probably spend your nights pining for her like an idiot. You know she likes you too, right?

V: Hm?

H: Maker, Varric. Haven’t you noticed? She looks at you like you’re made of solid gold. Reminds me of Merrill, actually.

V: I guess so. But that’s just her personality, though. Too nice for her own good.

H: The Inquisitor’s fallen hard, Varric. Take it easy on her.

V: Don’t worry. But I think it’s her who’s gonna have to go easy on me. 

H: And here I thought you didn’t go for the hero types!

V: She’s not a hero. She’s just a normal person caught in the middle of all this shit, like you and me.

H: Then why is she called Inquisitor?

V: Convenient title. Besides, Inquisitor Velahris Lavellan - it has a nice ring to it, eh?

H: That’s her name? And you call her Clover? How’d you get there?

V: Long story. Tell you over drinks later.

H: Hey, V, if you ever need a wingman...

V: If I ever do, Hawke, you’ll be the first to know.
