It's interesting how similar Fear The Spotlight is to Silent Hill 4:

The two protagonists are unexpectedly pulled through into an alternate version of an area familiar to them by the antagonist who becomes fixated on one of the main characters for his own warped desires

The other version of said familiar location was created after the initial death of the main antagonist before his return as a monster. The place is also haunted by his victims from the inciting incident that is the game's backstory

The final confrontation occurs in the location of the antagonists death with the protagonist's companion being trapped abo where it takes place in

The display case in the school's library contains the iconic pocket radio alongside the Book of Lost Memories as an actual physical tome

Vivian is forced to squeeze through a gap in the rundown 1991 library wall much like James does during the Historical Society segment of Silent Hill 2.

The two main characters escape a collapsing location towards a glowing white portal much like Harry does with a newborn Heather at the very end of Silent Hill 1

Number 10. Douglas Cartland (Silent Hill, 3 specially)- is tricked by a cult into looking for the reincarnation of a girl they want to force god pregnancy on, teams up Heather after learning the truth

Number 9. Chun Li (Street Fighter, most of them)- started as a cop and became an Interpol agent, played a vital role in taking Shadaloo and the Illuminate, has retired to teach to kung fu

Number 8. Big Band (Skullgirls)- was betrayed and almost killed by a corrupt police force, now works as a detective and Skullgirl hunter for lab 8, is mostly a cyborg and made of instruments

Number 7. Shinko Kurayanagi (25th Ward, no gifs because visual novel)- totally not Major Motoko Kusanagi, for real this lady is a lot more unhinged but I love her attitude, was orphaned after being a test subject for the Shelter Kids "Ayame" program

Number 6. Jill Valentine (Resident Evil 1, 3, Revalations 1 and 5, specifically like her in 1 and 3)- Former member of STARS, survivor of Racoon City zombie outbreak, now BSAA agent still fighting monsters

Number 5. Aya Brea (Parasite Eve, there is only 1)- more of a cop then a detective for the NYPD but she's still cool, slayer of mitochondria monster, develops mitochondria powers herself

Number 4. Vanessa (King of Fighters 2000, 01, XI, XIV, XV)- secret agents are kind of like detectives, is also a boxer who punches the shit out of people, canon winner of 1 KOF tournament

Number 3. Noa Izumi (Patlabor)- again more of a cop but also a mech pilot, bisexual robot fucker icon and loves her mech Alphonse

Number 2. Kim Kitsuragi (Disco Elysium)- extreme professional of Precinct 57, liker of machines, liker of men, disliker of delinquents

Number 1. Major Motoko Kusanagi (Ghost in the Shell franchise, Stand Alone Complex being the best version)- the real deal super professional of Pubic Security Section 9 especially in Stand Alone Complex but she's great in every adaption, full body prosthetic cyborg, hyper capable commander of her squad and super hacker, polyamorus bisexual who has 2 girlfriends and gets all the action, Queen of cyberpunk
