Just finished Blood Plus One Night Kiss

Great game and absolutely a hidden gem that is secretly one of Grasshopper's better games. Not really familiar with the source material but it seems cool and it's good to get more of those Suda vibes, especially seeing the Killer 7 art style again. The blending of Blood with that cel shading kind of presentation is magic.

Love Saya so much as a protagonist as well, badass vampire school girl with a sword who hunts monsters, love how badass but also chill she is. She's so cool that she kinda makes me want to check out the source material, might have to watch it one day. Very fun character to actually play as well, I know that it's not the most complex action game but it feels satisfying and the bosses are all really fun to fight with spooky designs. Also her assistant guy is hot as well.

Anyway, yes the second Suda original protagonist Aoyama is endearing as well, he's definitely a Suda character alright lol, biggest pompadour I've ever seen as well. But nowhere near as fun to play because he uses a gun and you kinda just stand and shoot to kill most things.

The final boss was super cool, I like how after both character had separate stories for the entire game, they intersect at the end and team up. Saya's part of the fight is especially fun and stopping a flying monster into the ground while it's trying to swoop is one of the most satisfying things I've done in a long time. One of the best button prompts I've ever had.

Anyway yes, super fun game with gorgeous presentation, might have to check out the Blood Plus anime one day. Also while I was using the emulator saves, I realized that some of the thumbnails looked really cool so I took some screenshots with the PS2 emulators screenshot feature as well which are the pictures on this post along with the cover, here are the rest-
