My whole life my fp has been my mom. She's the one thing in my life that I can count on, that I love more than anything. Friends and partners come and go but she's always had my back. Here's Akira!

Akira is the God of Love (you know, because he’s so lovable). As the patron of mutual feelings, he is a very cheerful and enthusiastic god that always extends a caring hand to all those around him. His kindness and openness for others can be affectionate bordering on aggressive, which makes people tend to walk on eggshells around him.

His job is to ensure that humans eventually find a partner (or partners - poly) that they are content with spending the rest of their lives with. Each couple that comes together is by his design - he searches each human for characteristics and ideals that are similar (or different, as opposites tend to attract) to that of another human’s, then sets events into motion that will eventually lead to the two parties meeting and falling in love. If someone does not find a partner by the time it’s their turn to journey to the Spirit World, it’s most likely because Akira didn’t feel that they would be a good match for anyone - their actions and/or ideals were simply too abrasive for him to match them with someone.

Akira mainly represents the emotions that come with being in love, the similar feelings of safety and certainty that stems from being with someone that you truly care for. Though if a couple does decide to get frisky, he’s more than happy to extend the secrecy of his sleeve in order to shield their activities from the rest of the world. He also tries to give them privacy on his behalf.
