My first-ever mini-shift

Background:

My first-ever mini-shift was when I had just discovered shifting back in 2020-2021, I believe. At the time, I was around 10-11 years old. This was my second desired reality, and the script has long since been deleted, but I remember scripting that I was the daughter of two very important purebloods. I also had a relationship with Ronald Weasley, but that's for later.

A lot was going on in this dr, plus I was a literal baby, so I had so many silly things scripted in there. I'm so glad I didn’t end up staying any longer than a few seconds now that I'm older.

I also don’t really count any of the times I shifted without opening my eyes as mini-shifts, simply because, for me, I’d never feel 100% sure since I tend to rely on my eyes when it comes to shifting, so I only have a handful of stories to tell.

How I shifted:

This was when I discovered my absolute love for awake methods. I haven’t used an awake method in so long (it's been years), but they worked so well for me in the past, so I need to get back into it.

It was the middle of the afternoon during the summer when I found this subliminal with a blonde woman on it. I can't find the exact one now, but it was really similar to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibxLzE1g0vU

I laid down in my bed for a while listening to it, repeating a few affirmations like:

"I am in my desired reality"

"My name is (DR name)"

"My house is Slytherin"

"I am waking up on the Hogwarts Express"

I continued to repeat these affirmations while focusing on the sensation of being inside my desired reality and where I was, until I fell asleep on the train. (As a young shifter the Julia Method was my QUEEN)

The shift:

Okay, so this was a very, very short shift. It's around my second shortest, I believe?

I kind of half-woke up on the Hogwarts Express, like I was in that little spot between being asleep and awake. I remember hearing a lot of chattering, mostly just the buzzing of people talking, you know? Also, the lights were extremely bright to the point that I could barely keep my eyes open, much like the lighting in the scene where the trio meets for the first time.

This was like 3-4 years ago, so bear with me, please, because I had two versions of this DR that were the exact same, but the only difference was the year I started in.

I believe this time was when I started in 3rd-4th year. I basically woke up with my head lying on Ronald Weasley’s shoulder. My eyes were doing that thing where they're too heavy to open, so they flutter for a bit, but I could see the passenger carriage and Hermione Granger and Harry Potter sitting across from me. I wasn’t fully aware that I was there, but I had this thought in my mind that I should be getting up.

Ron, being the amazing boyfriend he is, was stroking my hair and telling me to just go back to sleep, and that he’d wake me up when we got there. Half-asleep me decided to go along with it and went back to sleep.

When I woke up I was back here and I just felt, EXTREMELY thirsty—like absolutely parched. I feel like other shifters have mentioned this, but eh? After all that, I remember sitting up and feeling so disappointed that I hadn’t just ignored Ron and fully gotten up like I was so pissed at myself for awhile.

That pretty much sums up my first-ever shift. Sorry if this is short or disappointing, but I tried! It was so long ago I can't remember all the details.

How to Shift: Simplified

This is is what I did the time when I was closer to shifting (I'm currently in a break, since like a week after that attempt), and it's also how many people shift.

It's actually pretty simple. I'm going to explain it in steps to make it even easier to understand, although it's not supposed to be a step by step method.

LAY DOWN AND RELAX: Breath deeply, meditate, count your heartbeats... do whatever it works for you. take a few minutes, till your mind is as calm as possible.

IMAGINE: Start imagining the exact place where you'll wake up. It's not necessary to visualise, I personally don't do it. I just imagine everything in first person as I were there. If you feel like it, try adding more and more details, like the breathing of your roomies, the texture of your clothes, etc. However, this is optional.

THINK AS YOUR DR SELF: What are you doing tomorrow? What's that thing you can't forget to do? Do you have to finish your homework? Think in first person, as you were you other self. Daily basic things. Think what s normal person would think before going to sleep.

ENJOY BEING THERE IN IMAGINATION: Once you've imagined it, you're there. So, go on, enjoy it.

That's basically all. It's not a method. You don't have to do it in order. You don't have to remember the steps. Do it naturally, enjoy the process. Do what you feel like to do.

I'm going to tell you the KEY to this.

FORGET YOU'RE TRYING TO SHIFT. Focus on the 4d (imagination) to the point you don't remember you're not there, but attempting to shift there.

And remember, it's not a step by step method (it's like the fourth time i say it i know), but more of a "do what you feel" method. So do it in the order you like the most. If you rather first start thinking as your DR self, do it. If you rather mix imaginacion and thoughts, you're free to do it. The important thing, is that you feel there, and forget you are (not) there, but you are attempting to shift to that place.

shifting is as easy as you make it to be

Stella found out about shifting during the peak of DracoTok. in the beginning, she had such a positive mindset, she knew that she will shift! she tried every method, every meditation and every subliminal possible! but she started to grow tired of not waking up in her 'dr', doubts started to form in her mind. she knew shifting was easy, but she started to get frustrated with herself. she started to doubt her abilities in shifting, started to think that she'll never shift, she'll never be able to meet her 'dr' friends. she still did every method possible, tried out everything in order to shift with no avail.

Alice found out about shifting in early 2023. she already knew of the law of assumption, but never really used it, until she found out about shifting. she realized, that she doesn't need any methods, subliminals or meditation in order to shift. because she knew that those are just helping tools; they can help them in her journey, but they will never be able to actually shift her. she started to apply the law into her shifting journey. told herself that she was already in her 'dr', that shifting was as easy as breathing. she knew, that in order to shift, she had to look within. she started to ignore the physical world, she told herself that she was already in her 'dr', because she knew that what she was thinking in her 4D, was true.

as you can see, Stella had a really positive mindset in the beginning, knew that she was capable of shifting to her 'dr'! but then she started looking at her 3D, and noticed, that she never actually woke up in her destined reality. after this realization, she stopped living in the end, and only put her focus on the 3D, not the 4D. Stella did not shift because she put way too much focus on the 3D.

Alice, on the other hand, from the beginning to the end; focused more on the 4D, and never let the 3D get in her way. she knew that she was in her 'dr', why would she not be?? Alice did shift, because she knew that the assumptions she made in her 4D, were going to be pushed out into the 3D.

My biggest shifting advice pt.2

If you attempt to shift before going to sleep at night and when you open your eyes, you still wake up here, read this.

Your brain has habits. So when you go to bed at night, even though you intend to wake up in your DR, you always wake up here. Why? because of your habits. Your mind is extremely used to go to bed and sleep and then wake up here, that is almost impossible to change that habit. What do you have to do then?

During the day, lay down, relax and do whatever you want to shift. intend to wake up in your Dr. Make a new habit, and you will shift.
