How to Shift: Simplified
This is what I did the time when I was closer to shifting (I'm currently in a break, since like a week after that attempt), and it's also how many people shift.
It's actually pretty simple. I'm going to explain it in steps to make it even easier to understand, although it's not supposed to be a step by step method.
LAY DOWN AND RELAX: Breath deeply, meditate, count your heartbeats... do whatever it works for you. take a few minutes, till your mind is as calm as possible.
IMAGINE: Start imagining the exact place where you'll wake up. It's not necessary to visualise, I personally don't do it. I just imagine everything in first person as I were there. If you feel like it, try adding more and more details, like the breathing of your roomies, the texture of your clothes, etc. However, this is optional.
THINK AS YOUR DR SELF: What are you doing tomorrow? What's that thing you can't forget to do? Do you have to finish your homework? Think in first person, as you were you other self. Daily basic things. Think what s normal person would think before going to sleep.
ENJOY BEING THERE IN IMAGINATION: Once you've imagined it, you're there. So, go on, enjoy it.
That's basically all. It's not a method. You don't have to do it in order. You don't have to remember the steps. Do it naturally, enjoy the process. Do what you feel like to do.
I'm going to tell you the KEY to this.
FORGET YOU'RE TRYING TO SHIFT. Focus on the 4d (imagination) to the point you don't remember you're not there, but attempting to shift there.
And remember, it's not a step by step method (it's like the fourth time i say it i know), but more of a "do what you feel" method. So do it in the order you like the most. If you rather first start thinking as your DR self, do it. If you rather mix imaginacion and thoughts, you're free to do it. The important thing, is that you feel there, and forget you are (not) there, but you are attempting to shift to that place.

the doubt method
this is a shifting method for the doubters out there. the ones who try to affirm or act as if they’re in their dr yet they contradict themselves by thinking that they’re still in their cr and feel bad about it.
what you have to do is choose two of your drs. the first one (dr 1) is the reality where you’re planning to go, the second one (dr 2) is a reality that you simply like but it’s not your priority.
start affirming of being in your dr 2, but then contradict yourself by saying sentences like “ugh i just know thats not true because i’m actually still in dr 1, that’s so annoying, i really want to be in my dr 2 yet i’m still in dr 1, why??” you basically have to rant about it.
this is similar to when you go against your affirmation out of doubts like “no i’m still in my cr :((“ so you would use this to your advantage and instead go “no i’m still in my dr 1 :((“.
try this and see yourself shift.
edit: someone on tiktok informed me that there’s a similar method so make sure you check that one too, it’s called the nowehere method.

THE GASLIGHTING METHOD: made by me :)

I promise the method is a lot more flattering than the name.
My biggest issue with shifting was believing I was actually in my DR. I’m a logical person, so the idea that I was in my DR was a concept I couldn’t wrap my head around. I decided since I couldn’t believe on my own, why not trick myself into believing I was there?
THE STEPS, SIMPLIFIED:
I like to use this method at night so I can have the entire day, but this is NOT required. I spend the day acting as my DR self. Some of you might think it’s weird, but it made it sooo much easier for me to shift if I was already comfortable with my DR self. I talked like her, dressed like her, did my hair like her, completed tasks like her, etc.
I affirm throughout the day that I am connected to my DR, and that my DR is within reach. I believed fully that I had the power to shift, which I did, and so do you.
Now we get into the actual shift.
Go to sleep, and set an alarm for a couple of hours later.
Once you wake up, do something your DR self would do, like a task specific to your DR. For me, it would be checking on my daughter or setting out outfits for the next day. If it’s not something you can do in your OR (like I can’t check on my daughter), do something similar (I checked on my dog instead and pretended it was her)
Once you complete it, etch in your mind that you did that in your DR. Get back into bed and try to go to sleep again, except you’re trying to shift.
Tell yourself that you are in your DR. Don’t let any doubts creep into your head, if they do, counter them. Anything that you think is tying you down to your OR, counter that too. You hear a noise? Somebody in your DR was moving around (if you’re waking up alone, it was a gust of wind from your DR). Voices of your family in the living room? It’s your DR s/o or friend talking on the phone (or you accidentally left the radio or TV on). Even if you aren’t in a modern world, find something to tie it to. It’s very easy once you think about it.
Continue doing this until you can’t find a reason why you’re in your OR anymore. Affirm affirm affirm that you are in your DR until you fall asleep and wake up in your DR.
I hope I explained this well enough!! This method is perfect (hopefully) for people who have logical minds like me. If any of you try it, let me know how it went! :)

i shifted and i’m not freaking out like i thought i would😭
ok so i was meditating last night (with the intention to shift/manifest), i was saying my “i am” affirmations and then i just heard my dog start barking like either in my room or right outside, so i was like “uhhh she’s not supposed to be in my room or outside, she’s sleeping..” then it stopped so abruptly after i said that like😭??? then i heard my name being called and i was like nuh uh uh, so that stopped too ! and i started seeing my dr room so i was like errr i don’t wanna be in my dr room then it changed into a classroom, i had on uniform (japan’s typical summer uniform, white shirt and blue skirt) and i was twirling my pen while looking out the window, the sun seemed to be just rising and i don’t think the teacher was there yet but then i was like nvm and came back (here), i assume that can easily replicated!! im very surprised, i shifted and i wasn’t even scared like i usually am, i’ll definitely be further prepared tonight!!!!!!!

Connecting to your DR
idea for connecting to your DR better. i think this has been done before, but i can’t remember.
so, write a letter to your DR self. ask all the things you’re curious about. ask what it’s like. what you’re like there. what memories you’ve had there. all that. do that BEFORE you go to shift.
then, go shift. do whatever you do to do that: methods, affirmations, loa, intention, etc.
even if you don’t shift, when you’ve finished your shifting attempt, write a letter back to your CR self from your DR self’s POV. write a letter back AS IF you’ve already shifted and now hold all that knowledge.

New shifting/manifestation method?
Ok so idk if anyone's gonna see this but I just feel like I should share my last shitfting attempt where I went into the void state super fast and easily bc I feel like this could maybe be helpful for people. Both for shifting and just manifesting.
So in this attempt I had woken up but not really yk, I was still in that sorta half asleep state which was really good because it made my mind super susceptible to whatever affirmations I wanted.
Basically the method I did is inspired by something I saw on tiktok recently about using a "now or never" mindset which will trick your mind into thinking you HAVE to shift/go in the void state which will make it happen much easier. So I imagined myself jumping off a really tall building where I'd die if I reached the ground (obviously lol) and sorta just yelled at myself in my head stuff like "I have to be in the void state right now" and just like forcefully affirmed "I am in the void state I am in the void state" and basically convinced myself I would die if I didn't go into the void state right now. And dudes I kid you not I literally went into the void state within SECONDS it was fuckin CRAZY.
I think the key is to not actually give yourself that much time like you have to convince yourself that you have to do it within the next few seconds. This is also why I think you should try this when you're reeaaaally tired and/or sorta half asleep so before bed or right after waking up because then your able to actually convince your mind easily while its susceptible.
Ok so here are steps if ppl wanna try this:
1. Start when you're mind is really tired or half asleep so before bed, after waking up, or during a nap.
2. Before doing anything I think it's good to set the intention of what you want to do e.g. mine was "I'm going to go into the void state and successfully shift to my desired reality".
3. Make up a scenario where you are going to die within seconds (scary ik but trust me). For me I think scenarios where you are falling are the best. And you gotta really immerse yourself in this scenario so sorry to people who can't visualize 😭.
4. Aggressively affirm to yourself that you HAVE to shift or go into the void state right now like its urgent or you'll die.
And yea that's about it. It's like 3 steps and super quick so it doesn't hurt to atleast give it a try. I wanna see if this can work for other people or just me because I have a unique relationship with sleep.
Also no I didn't get to my DR sadly as I got a little scared lol, but I did get into the void state which as you know makes it a lot easier to shift. Sorry if this was kinda rambly this is my first ever post.

My biggest shifting advice
the time I got closer to shifting (I'm almost a 99% sure I didn't shift that day bc I had to go while I was attempting to shift) was ironically, when I forgot I was trying to shift. Let me explain.
I was a bit sleepy, I was imagining I was there and enjoying being there in the 4d. I almost forgot I was trying to shift, bc I was so focused on my imagination that I only got distracted a few times when I felt my surroundings different, and then went back at my imagination.
So here's the tip: be there in imagination, to the point you forget about your CR, and the fact that you are attempting to shift. When everyone says "focus on the 4d, forget about the 3d" this is what (for me) they mean. Meaning for "focus on the 4d" that you embody yourself with your imagination, reaching the point you are enjoying it that much to forget you are ("not") there. That's the way you forget the 3d. That's the way you detach from your Cr.
As an extra tip, I recommend you to imagine the place where you'll wake up (that's what I did)

I want to give a shout out to all the shifters who don’t believe in the mainstream view of shifting, or law of assumption. To shifters who are religious, who believe in destiny or divine timing. Who don’t believe we’re all-powerful gods with all the answers. It’s okay to be uncertain. It’s okay to have beliefs that don’t align with ShiftTok or Shiftblr.
At the end of the day, nobody has the one way to shift. Your journey is no less valid, and you can still shift. ♥️♥️

i don’t know if someone’s done this before or something like this, but i have an idea for a method.
basically, pretend that you’re in a DR. this is your DR that you’re in right now. truly believe that this is your DR that you’re in right now. your OR is the reality you’re desiring to shift to, but you must pretend that it is your OR, you must believe that it is your OR.
and then go lay down to sleep, or whatever method you use, and “shift back” to your OR. say your safe word repeatedly while doing your method, cuz that’s what gets you back to your OR.
and then, hopefully, you’ll be in your DR.
(i haven’t tried this out yet, but maybe some shifters can and tell me what y’all think and how it goes for you, peeps! :])
