It’s been YEARS since I watched Prison Break. For some reason I jumped into season five and I’m realizing I remember absolutely nothing besides who the main villain is. Also, Lincoln deciding to dig up Michael’s grave took me out 😭😂 That’s sheer desperation for answers. I’d be doing literally everything besides that.

Clockwork moved Danny and de aged Dan and Ellie to Gotham, pulling a favor from Lady Gotham to make sure no one (ie the fentons and the GIW) would find them. He erased them from all media records, and Tucker created decent fake records, enrolling the kids into daycare and Danny into a job at Arkham as a guard who quickly became loved by most of the staff(and inmates). (Danny was one of the few people who treated the inmates like human beings, never being scared of them, joking with them, genuinely being interested in them.) (they were 100% willing to kill for their new guard)

Unfortunately, the batfamily noticed the new security guard who had amazingly forged records(if anyone else had looked at them, they wouldn’t know they were forged.) Which lead to Batman paying them a visit.

Half an hour after Batman went to visit, Batman was viciously researching a group called the GIW, and Danny showed up at the door of Ivy’s garden with his kids in toe, begging for sanctuary.

Rewatching some episodes of Avatar in my sick state...and man, that silent sequence with Zuko where he sneaks into the Northern Water tribe is still like, the coolest thing. I remember being so impressed with it as a kid because it really made you feel the struggle he was going through to not freeze to death and it was so rare for cartoons to have totally silent sequences like that (minus Zuko briefly yelling at animals) where you were just feeling nothing but the intensity of the life and death struggle. It also just gets across how relentless and tenacious he is, entirely visually.

There's kind of the anime influence there because kids cartoons at the time were all bangbang next piece of dialogue, whereas a Ghibli movie would trust itself to be engaging enough that you could just sit with what the animation was saying.

Plus it was just such a cool firebending effect with the breath of fire and his hands heating up and breaking through the ice...

It's such a small sequence, but it just kind of captures what made the show special, in a way, and I think that kind of sticks with me.

Once again begging for more people to watch Prison Break. If you like smart, tattooed, autistic men you will like this show. If you like crime shows then please give it a chance. You like when people punch cops? You’ll like this show. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WATCH THIS SHOW AND WRITE FANFIC ABOUT IT

a lot of people are talking about the new wan chapter and the idea of skk being fanfic writers and can i just propose that if they were fic writers in the canon universe they’d have the CRAZIEST authors notes explaining why they weren’t updating.

I was gonna make a joke about a certain 4 wheeled vehicle of transportation having multiple rapid chemical expansions while adorned with a type of hand tool intended for using percussive force to move nails into wood but now I'm literally scared to say any of the words involved lest I get my blog moved to that island from The Prisoner starring Patrick McGoohan.

“With all the blood?” Ian splutters. “And— and the fucking needles and shit? Jesus, Mick, what the hell were you thinking?”

“The fuck was I suppose to know the warden was gonna let me check out on the prison bus?” Mickey runs a soothing hand up Ian’s jaw. “Fuckin’ missed you…”

Ian immediately softens, letting Mickey kiss him as he guides them towards the bed.

“Shit—” Ian pulls away sharply. “Do I gotta worry about your jizz being radioactive now?” 

Mickey smirks, falling back and pulling Ian down on top of him. “Only one way to find out, big guy.”

well, almost 20 years late, but i’ve finally started prison break and my god, i get it. i really do.

Wait! How did I not realize this earlier: the first and last thing that Omega does in the show with the Batch is escape a prison using maintenance crawlspaces. Both prison breaks started with Omega using a crawlspace to get everyone out of the cell, ended with a stand-off/shoot-out featuring Omega and Crosshair and getting help from one of the facility’s top scientists. Also, I cannot believe that it was a coincidence that there was a storm on Wayland for their escape and that it wasn’t a deliberate callback to Kamino.

Another thing that gets me about Bill's crack so much is that he presents himself as this all powerful entity that's doing fine. He lies until he's not lying anymore. However, he can't continue to lie about that because he's got a giant crack across his body.
