im still on my fuckshit but when i think of cc maria ( by extension also nosy maria but specifically noting the isolation aspect of cc );
can you imagine one day skimming the paper. its been a few weeks since all the commotion knowing your friends' had attempted to come find you but then were chased off. never actually heard or saw any of them, but you know they were around.
but you've been moved from the cells to a mattress upstairs. you're given more freedom, more wiggle room, you're allowed to do things - little hobby-type activities - you're given better foods, you're looked after by the older woman at the other house. the man who took you, who terrifies you still to some degree, slowly doesn't feel like such a stranger anymore, you're right to still be cautious around him but as the days, the weeks, pass by, there's simply a different air about him, and in the shack. lighter, in a sense.
you find yourself growing used to the new daily - the new routine. of waking to the sound of him getting ready for the day, of being left alone in there for hours sometimes, others trailing after him like a duckling, around the older womans' property, helping with an array of tasks. and you worry about upsetting her at first, unsure if doing so will earn a knife to the throat. you listen, you do as you're told, you find some kind of way to co-exist - all the while still, in the back of your mind, there's still a ray of hope,
that maybe, maybe, since the rest of them got away - that they're merely licking their wounds, that they'll get word out and even with all the silence since they had been on the property, there's that shred of hope that maybe? someone will waltz in, guns blazing so to speak, and you'll get out of this hell finally.
that is, until that day - that you're skimming through the paper, and you recognize yourself in a little column - and you realize you're staring at your own fucking obituary.
and in that moment everything seems solidified.
you're never getting away.
there's no point in it.
there's no one out there who are still trying to find you, get you back, bring you home, back to your mothers' arms, back to being an older sister, back to the circle of friends you loved so dearly.
you're dead.
not just to the world, but to those you loved - those who claimed to have loved you, too.
what else do you have at that point? where else do you go, even if you still tried to leave? who wouldn't look at you sideways for the blood that's already stained your hands? for the flesh caught between teeth?

But god are ya'll are insufferable on there. The fact you have this strong par asocial attachment to Sebastian and claim that Zerum is ""ruining the character"" is just blasphemy and shows you guys know nothing to zero about writing and do not play the game whats so ever.
I've talked to Zerum; Ive talked to the devs and mods ; and all the false claims and misinformation that's being spread like a wildfire IS CRAZY. Everyone's so exhausted. It takes just a couple of minutes to prove it's false but that would actually require these people to literally sit down and fucking read.
Zerum never banned anybody. Zerum doesn't handle the bans in the server. If you got banned or muted, it was most likely the automod in the server that they have implemented to avoid people saying anything weird or sexual... [ A friend of mine got muted because they sent a gif that had a weird name to it; nothing related to the gif, the gif was fine and they filed a ticket and got unmuted. Its just the bot doing its job.] and even then the mods probably banned you for something completely unrelated...
and even then, can we STOP normalizing this??

“I shouldve never given her that uniform.” Agatha snickers.
Pietro, ever the jokester, threw some popcorn at his sister. “Boo this ref!”
Wanda walked over and sat down by you. “I’m going to kill him some day”
“You love him too much” you answer back, kissing your wife on the cheek. “And the boys love you out there”
“Are you sure it’s not you?” She winks back. Wanda whispers in your ear, “I got Pietro to watch the kids after the game and Agatha to let us lock the locker rooms up”
“You’ve been reading my referee fantasies again havent you?” You smirk.
Wanda nods “and I’m gonna make every single one of them come true tonight” your wife tops it off with a wink.
And then came another foul, this time from the other team. Wanda was immediately on it.
She blew her whistle, “foul!”

Any thoughts on Bart and Rose?

they make me so goddamn emotional. first of all bart being genuinely interested in being friends with her in a period of her life where she felt like no one really wanted her around.. like the titans kinda had to look after her and the older titans saw her as an unstable child that had to be taken care of (which is correct. but she didnt like that). but BART just looked at her and thought she was cool and wanted to hang out with her <3
and him saying "its not like that" is sooo sweet bc he really just wanted to be friends with her 😭 ge*ff made their relationship sorta romantic but its so sweet that he saw her and said "idk how i feel about her but i just know i want to hang out with her <3"
also my fav thing ever is that he sees her screaming at donna and crying and goes "this is the perfect time to make my move 😎" its so fucking funny because then the NEXT time he sees her he does the exact same thing. she watched her foster parents get murdered in front of her and bart goes "hey rose! its me your friend!" ily bart. but he just keeps running into her at the absolute lowest points in her life and trying to be friends. like baby shes about to kill herself this is not the time to hang out...
and then. GOD. HELLO. tt03 #12 makes me lose my fucking mind btw
sobbing because hes the ONLY PERSON that ever reached out to her during this era. hes the only person that recognized there was something wrong and tried to help her. he knew her!!! he thought she was lying to slade because he couldnt believe she would do that. GOD.
it drives me insane that so many people who shouldve done something to help her just. didnt. but i understand that sometimes the story has to happen and they couldnt do it. thats FINE its FINE

scraps of what could've been....... i assume geoff had an arc in mind where the titans take rose back (they were at least kinda hinting at it in some of the stories) and i so badly want to know what would've happened. i like the renegade arc but i wish we got a story with the titans taking her back :((( i dont trust jeff geohns with anything but... in my imagination it would've been a great story with bart coming to get her and convincing her to leave her dad
and im still refusing to acknowledge the rest of the titans of tomorrow arc because that story is so goddamn stupid and boring. but theyre married or something in it idk

because ouuughhhh they could be besties but they just. keep missing each other. right person wrong time but platonically because oughhhh they first met when rose's life was just completely destroyed. then they meet again when rose's life was destroyed AGAIN. then!!!!!!!! when rose meets the team its right after bart leaves and later dies
throwing up and crying bc after rose dies we get so much of rose's favorite trauma response of suppressing it and pretending she doesnt care then trying to fuck someone
someone that she considered a friend but hadnt been able to talk to in years dies and she says "LOL that funeral is so boring! haha bart meant nothing to me. im fine. stop talking about feelings and lets skinny dip right now. bart who" go off queen <3 she does not want to let herself feel any emotion so she represses it as hard as she can forever
(btw. i have complicated feelings about this bc as much as its in character for her to repress all her feelings with sexualizing herself,,,, ew. idk if this is johns or mckeever but its one of their faults and i know it because despite defining all the important aspects of her character theyre both so gross about her sometimes. men 👎 but thats a completely different rant)

bart spent this entire story saying she was awful and trying to murder her (they divorced i guess. stupid ass storyline i dont care) shes still sad to lose him again. this is literally the only time she lets herself mourn him and its right after hes been trying to kill her. there is so much wrong with her <3 <3 <3
also as i was looking for that panel i saw this one and i think its so silly:

anyways. then later the krul run happens and theyre both vaguely out of character but they FINALLY get to be friends again!!!!!! theyre buddies!!!!!!!!!!!! theyre hanging out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also one of my favs because i know its supposed to be "haha barts being creepy to her XD isnt that so funny" but inside my head this moment is just bart getting so excited about being on a team with rose again that he refuses to let her miss any of the action. he grabs her hand and gets her into her costume and doesnt think anything of it because hes just so happy that he gets to hang out with his buddy <3 that wasnt the writers intention. but it is to me
if youre willing to exaggerate. they r so besties here. they are taking every opportunity to hang out because they finally get to be buddies :') we still get to see bart just genuinely liking her and once again he just thinks shes cool and wants to hang out with her <3333 theyre so much fun
and i cant keep looking for screenshots because reading the end of this book bums me out since the new52 happened and they couldnt finish any of the arcs they had planned. lili worth i miss you every day
anyways yeah to answer your question. i love bart & rose 👍 the way hes one of the only people that just. likes her. hes the first person (ish) that reaches out to her after her mom died when she was at a very low point in her life and he continues to just enjoy her company and like her as a person which doesnt happen a lot <///3 there are so few people that like her and want to spend time with her and just genuinely think shes a good person but bart always does!!!!! barring t*tans *f t*morrow bart always likes her and always thinks highly of her when no ones else does 💞💞💞 theyre so sweet and i want them to interact again

Maria Hill. Commander of SHIELD. The only person capable of truly predicting Nick Furys literal bullshit. The only person capable of successfully wrangling the Avengers. The only person qualified to take no shit from anyone. She is one of the most important main characters for marvels plot development and characterisation. AND THEY FUCKING FRIDGED HER IN THE FIRST EPISODE OF A SHOW THATS NOT EVEN FUCKING HERS?? It wasnt for character development because her death is only used as leverage against Fury. That if that video of 'him' killing Maria Hill gets out then everything he's worked for will fall apart. It wasn't for the plot because her death has absolutely no relevance to the rest of the show. It wasn't even to reveal something. She isn't even thanked for her service to SHIELD and the Marines. SHE DOESNT EVEN HAVE A FUNERAL. She's just dead. Lying in a casket along with so many other women marvel packed up for the fucking sake of it.
I won't accept that they've done that to her. She could've been so much more. She shouldve been.
And now Carol Danvers. Captain Marvel. The human equivalent of a nuke. The woman Thanos punched in the face and didn't even flinch. The Avenger for every other planet in the goddamn fucking universe. She is the only Captain Marvel. She is meant to be one of the most powerful people in the universe. Her powers are able to kill Gods. AND GI'AH JUST FUCKING GETS THEM?? AFTER ALL THE TRAUMA CAROL GOES THROUGH TO GET THEM, AND ITS NOT EVEN HER FUCKING CHOICE. Why do Marvel repeatedly diminish the power women have over and over and fucking over. Let us have these strong characters without someone else just one upping them just be-fucking-cause.

ok i really like this because i feel like previously the comic had an issue with making me care about yjh regressions. like theyd say they happened but didnt show it in a way that made me actually care but like with this now i understand and i can care about the pain his character went through more rather than just 'oh yeah the regressions happened hes sad about that but your not gonna get to see why and any of the pain he went through'

YA SHOULDVE. ok so i didnt take screenshots for a while but i think its really funny she got eaten. i dont like her. i know she tried her best and was going through a tough time but when your a parent trying your best isnt enough. you are raising a human being obviously your not going to be perfect but being a bad parent and trying to excuse it with 'i tried my best' is crazy. any other situation trying your best will always be enough because thats all you can do but a parent should do more than their best. i just. ugh. i think shes a very interesting and compelling character and a very realistic and human one at that but if she was real id want to fist fight her.

honestly outside of writing the book and not getting dokja away from the abuse eairlier she was actually an amazing mom, she taught him many important things and even here always taught him the right lesson. BUT WHY THE FUCK YOU WRITE THAT DAMN BOOK-
also she basically abandoned him in a sense so hate her for that too ✌️

thats actually insane because that means there was a reason behind the book. the book was to make sure no one ever thought it was dokja. i mean i dont think anyone wouldve suspected that so still she prob didnt need to write it but. THAT MEANS THERE WAS A REASON FOR THE BOOK. MY WHOLE ARGUMENT HAS BEEN THROWN OUT THE WINDOW I LOVE BEING PROVEN WRONG OHHH THIS IS AMAZING AND CRAZY. i still have my annoyances with her parenting but like. +50 parent points for this you go girl AND YOU GO DOKJA MURDER HIS ASS

so pilot charlie is more violent, for lack of a better word?? shes not BRUTAL but she did fight with Katie killjoy for making fun of her hotel I mean yo go girl!! but like she never gets violent like that in the actual show until its too late. she lets adam walk all over her, she honestly SHOULDVE went sicko mode on val the moment he licked her but for some damn reason she didn't. she cussed out susan, which is like okay love that attitude! but like is an annoying old lady enough for her to snap but NOT the leader of the angels also being annoying asf and not listening to what she has to say? okay like I was hoping shed be badass when the angels came down to clap everyone-she was literally screwing around??? she didn't kill ANYYY angels and okay I guess her job was to just protect vaggie cause of the shield but even then it still looked like she was screwing around. WHY ARE YOU APOLOGIZING IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIGHT WHILE BUMPING INTO THE VERY BEINGS THAT ARE TRYING TO KILL YOU?? also that firework thing was pathetic how does vaggie put up with her GOD. like I KNOW she has the power to go batshit, she should've been throwing hands since the START of the fight. pilot charlie would NEVERRR smh,,,
also she didn't even be serious and actually kick ass until it was way too late and sir pentious already died but even then?? and yeah the ONLY sort of damage she ever did too an angel was adam and she just stabbed him and kicked him into the ground, oh and with the help OF HER DAD? and who killed adam? NIFFTY. she didn't get one kill to herself, and her "badass" moments were underwhelming
