LasAbarcas Base Game Save File 1.0
My Base Game Save File is complete!!! Download it here!
UPDATED VERSION AS OF 3/18:
OLD VERSION:
My goal with this save was to make the base game feel super ALIVE and full of personality - basically what we all wanted the base game to be originally. This save is full of lore: each household has a story (some inspired by iconic Sims lore, others original), each Sim has relationships outside their home, each world has a description and each neighborhood within each world is built with a very specific vibe that draws particular Sims to live there, all community lots (and some residential lots) have descriptions, and even the graves (and ghosts) at the Willow Creek church graveyard tell a story. There are TONS of community lots in this save that all feel different from one another and are designed with different kinds of Sims (personalities, career types, ages, etc.) in mind to give everyone multiple things to do outside the house.
All lots were built using only the base game (disclaimer: occasionally my game adds pack-specific items, like a kind of food, during playtesting, so it might say there is a pack-specific item on a lot but it's not meant to be there!), but many lots were built with other packs in mind. For example, the save has restaurants, a boba shop/thrift story, a cafe/retail space, a community garden, a high school, and so on that are base game only. So, if you only have the base game or limited packs, it should feel like you have more to do than the base game provides and open up your gameplay with a little imagination.
If you do have more packs, the lots should easily convert to their intended lot type to allow more functionality. You should also find things that come in other packs available in the save. For example, many Sims have university degrees, all Sims have cold/hot weather clothes, there are loads of clubs for Sims to be in (each with a description - MORE LORE hah!), and the calendar is filled with holidays/events.
Here's a little tour of the Save:
WILLOW CREEK:
Most families in Willow Creek have lived here for generations. These families strongly value their roots and create such a strong sense of Willow Creek identity that the transplant families have taken on this identity as well, leaving the town full of people who proudly work to preserve and celebrate the town’s vibrant history and traditions. Families in Willow Creek tend to have a more traditional approach to family life/dynamics and care about the family’s image/status within Willow Creek.
OASIS SPRINGS:
Oasis Springs had its heyday several decades ago when its space exploration industry was booming, but when the industry fizzled out, the town lost a lot of business, wealth, and residents. However, those that remain take pride in their retro desert town and clearly see what remains: a beautiful, unique, special place to call home. Families in Oasis Springs tend to be a bit quirkier, care little about what other people think about them, and focus more everyday happiness than career success.
NEWCREST:
Newcrest is a very family-friendly neighborhood filled with fun for all ages. Families here tend to be a bit more laidback – they are willing to go with the flow and enjoy the messiness that comes with growing up. The Newcrest residents are a supportive bunch of people who enjoy each other’s company and have a healthy balance between careers/school, hobbies, and spending time with family and friends.
I will also be releasing a Limited Packs Save with version one containing updates to Copperdale and Strangerville coming soon, as well as a No Limits Save down the line.
I hope you all download and enjoy!! Please let me know what you think and if you notice anything that needs updating.
Thanks!

Hooray hooray, it's Wintersd- oh, not quite yet, but happy December, everyone! I hope those of you in colder regions have a nice warm spot to bundle up and get cozy for the holidays! Meanwhile, the first Saturday of a new month is this Saturday, which means it's time for another art party hosted by my guild, [VS] Verdant Shield!
I've said this in almost two dozen posts now, but there are always news eyes around, so a quick tl;dr: art parties are a concept carried over from Final Fantasy XIV - in-game get-togethers for artists of all kinds to hang out, chat, and create together! For GW2 parties there's more of an emphasis on hanging out and gathering references during the party itself, and then in the days/weeks following to work on your creations at your own pace and then post to the shared art party tag. We've used the same one (#VSArtParty) since the very beginning so you can go allll the way back and explore what people have made!
Even more tl;dr is this: the ‘goal’ of an art party isn’t to be drawn, but to draw others, and share with the community!
Time and /squadjoin information is below the cut, but will also be posted again on the day of the party as things begin!
Location Information:
No fighting this time, we're in a nice no-combat corner of Snowden Drifts (the Southwest corner, to be precise!). There is a nearby dredge event that we might catch some dialogue from from time to time, but because we're up on the main part of the building across the bridge from it, no enemies should ever come close - simply relax and get cozy! Podaga Steading Waypoint has the matching name of course, but Skradden Waypoint (by the map entrance from Gendarran Fields) is just as close!
Time & Squad Details:
As is customary, we'll be having two parties - the first one on EU servers and the second on NA - with an hour break in between for those who may want to attend both!
The EU server party will begin at 9pm Central European Time (aka 3pm Eastern Standard Time or 4 hours before in-game reset). I'll be hosting this one on my EU alt account, so please either /whisper or /squadjoin Stormcaller Nell for a taxi invite if you don't end up on the right map!
The NA server party will begin 1 hour after the EU party's official end, at 7pm Eastern Standard Time (aka 1am Central European Time or at in-game reset). I'll be on my main account for this one and may switch 'host' characters a few times, but please /whisper or /squadjoin Freja Owlsong for a taxi invite if you don't see my customary white cat tag hanging around on your map!
Closing Words:
Feel free to consider this a Wintersday-themed party if you like! Because Anet likes to start their festivals midway through the month and I like to do the art parties at the start, it often means if I want to have a party during a festival it ends up awkwardly late, like Halloween in November..... but regardless! We just celebrate a bit earlier than the game does! Anyway!
Thank you everyone who comes out to these events and makes them so fun and memorable - there wouldn't be an art party without all of you! Take care of yourselves, keep yourselves warm, and I'll see you all this Saturday! ♥♥♥
#making a pre-emptive new years resolution to do something cool next month for the 2 year anniversary please look forward to it!!!#gw2#guild wars 2#vsartparty#obnoxious tourist simulator#📢🎨

I wanna ask your thoughts on a piece of GMing I've been struggling with despite myself
Namely, it's about structuring a campaign in a specific kind of system
Namely, it's this sort of Lancer, or perhaps DnD4e style system, where there's lots of combat, and it's a big draw of the system, but at the same time the combat is expected to be something resembling "balanced" and players walk out on the winning, - or at least, living, - end of most encounters. Now, I think this style of "tactical" combat is awesome, and I can set them up just fine and have lots of fun running them
But then there's the narrative side. Cuz these systems are usually ain't no PtbA or BitD, but they have some focus on their blorbos and the overarching plot they're stuck in, in a way that something like OSR-I-don't-bother-naming-them-until-they-live-to-lvl-3 doesn't
Now, I've run BitD specifically just fine, and had lots of fun there too. When the system is 100% about the character moments and the plot, I'm happy to just do that
But in these systems where the meat is the tactical combat, I struggle to both fit in interesting combat and narrative play that doesn't just fill like obligatory filler between the combats. And I was wondering if you'd have some insight on how to square that particular circle
I feel the struggle, but I think what helps is reframing what you think of as "a good story." I'm going to be referring to D&D 4e for the sake of my answer here, because it is the one I'm more familiar with of these two games, but it should be applicable to almost any game with tactical combat where the most important character verbs are variations of "Fight."
And to do that I'm going to quote Valiant Quest, a cool game I recently when nut nut over and that I'm currently organizing an online game with the girlies for. Valiant Quest has this quote in its section detailing what the game is for (which should be included in the free demo you can follow from that link):
Don't tell stories that can't be solved with swords, this isn't the system for political thrillers. Keep things simple and the goals clear. Only once players are invested should you even consider adding nuance. Broadly speaking your plots will start as either: a bad guy threatens a cool status quo or a bad guy enforces a terrible status quo. In either case, hit them with a sword.
I think you have identified an issue that sometimes pops up in these games, which is that you get a feeling of player characters being flown from one action set piece to another with the "story" content happening in between those action set pieces. The issue with that in the long run is that you end up with a disconnect between the gameplay and the narrative. The way to address this, I feel, is to think of the characters as action heroes. Action is their main vocabulary for interacting with most issues, so you want to give them issues which can be solved through action.
Now, there is a bit of an issue with D&D 4e (and this is also a problem in 3e and 5e, as those games have very much the same assumptions as 4e) and its kind that they very much do expect characters to win most encounters, which from the point of view of conventional storytelling doesn't necessarily make for the most interesting fiction. This is largely an issue of two different playstyles butting heads and D&D as a system never having really evolved to match this newer playstyle. But I think the solution to this very much isn't to artificially make sure that the player characters keep on winning, nor is it to conjure up endless contrivances that undermine the characters' victories. If the player characters keep winning each combat encounter but bad things out of their control keep happening off screen to ensure that their victory is short-lived it can ultimately undermine their sense of agency and make it feel like the characters are just observers to some series of events.
And the best way to do this hinges on transparency and communication but also fairness. Let your players know when their characters are rushing against potentially deadly odds, but when they do play the threat presented to the hilt. When the party wants to escape because they realize they've misjudged the odds, let them, because even though it is easy and fun to approach these games as fighting games where you the GM pit your toys against the players' toys in the fiction those goblins are creatures with hopes and dreams and they don't stand to gain from chasing after the heavily armed adventurers. If the party is forced to retreat and they can't recover all of their fallen, the enemy actually stands to take hostages they can use for leverage.
So to recap: you want to tell simple stories where issues can ultimately be fixed through the actions the character sheet provides the player characters; if you try to go for plots that hinge on things that the player characters can't really interface with it will make the action feel disconnected from the narrative and undermine character agency. And while these types of games do, much more so than your traditional OSR games, rely on empowerment and expecting the player characters to emerge victorious you as the GM should still strive to be an impartial judge, and that also means running things at the appropriate level of danger to them. But this type of play, even more so than many other playstyles, relies on high trust and openness. So be fair, but also open with information.

Kink/autism question, I have a close friend who often comes to the same kink events/markets/play parties as me and my polycule. I have a very subby/degradee dynamic with my polycule and this friend has picked up on that and has started adding her own interjections, calling me a little bug, holding my leash, and referring to herself as the "queer-platonic cousin of your leather family".
I've asked my friend if she'd be interested in any play and she's said no, and while I'm fairly attracted to her she doesn't seem to be attracted to me. I have no qualms with this, I know I'm not everyone's cup of tea.
That being said, I enjoy degradation and submission with my polycule because I know they're all attracted to me and love me dearly, and they do it because it's fun for all of us. When my friend does those same things, it kinda stings because I know she's also not attracted to me, and it just feels insulting. We also do a lot of work together in uni and she makes references to my kink dynamics in situations that aren't super comfortable for me (I'd prefer to keep my school life and kink life VERY separate). Sometimes when we're at our local sex club together she'll come into the room and start having a conversation with me about school while my wife is literally inside of me.
Do you have any advice on how I can communicate to her that I really enjoy her friendship and I'm glad to have a kinky buddy and talk about our respective relationships, but I don't like how she's injecting herself into my dynamic? I'm certain that she's not trying to be mean-spirited, but the fact that it's coming from a friend and not a partner makes the teasing feel a bit icky to me. She's had a rough year and I don't want to alienate her, and we're both not very good at social cues. I usually laugh it off but it's starting to wear on me.
I can kind of understand how your friend got her wires crossed here -- she probably thinks that by saying degrading things to you she is being playful and affectionate in a way she knows you like; she might even think she is doing you a kindness by giving you some of the dynamic you enjoy, despite not being sexually interested in you enough to want to take it further. But it's backfiring, and coming across as if knowing you're into degradation has given her the excuse to be a little bit mean and undermining.
Between that, the random attempts to initiate school-talk while you're getting fucked, and not being discrete about your kink life around others, there is a clear over-arching problem here with your friend: she doesn't see your kink life as a precious, carefully guarded part of you that should be handled gently and only by certain people.
For your friend, it seems that kink, friendship, school, and day-to-day life can all slosh up against one another, without firmly defined boundaries, and the presence of one in the place of another is not a problem. That can be fine for her, and it is for some people! But it's not how you feel.
And really the only way to fix this is with communication.
I think the best way to start is to explain to your friend how you feel about your kink life, and why you draw boundaries around it. Something like,
"My kinky side is very precious and private to me, and it's only something I want to share with my partners. "I love that you are supportive and understanding of my kinks as a kinky person yourself, and that we can bond over kink as friends. [ONLY SAY THIS IF IT'S TRUE.] "But when you use degrading terms for me, or start talking about my kinks when we're in vanilla spaces, you're taking my sexual life outside of that private realm and into a more public one where I don't want it to be. I also find it jarring when we're at the dungeon together and you suddenly start trying to talk to me about school or vanilla-life things. I go there to try and escape that regular-life headspace. "I keep these worlds separate and I hope you can help me in drawing that line. I'm okay with [talking about kink when we are at the club/sharing kinky spaces together -- say what is true for you here] but I don't express that side of myself in public, at school, or with people who aren't my partners."
Your friend will probably feel a bit embarrassed to learn that she's been making you uncomfortable all this time, so she might act awkwardly about it at first. Just give her some space to process that on her own -- it's not your job to make her feel better about the fact that she made you feel bad. Just continue to be friendly while maintaining boundaries between your kink and vanilla lives.
If she crosses a boundary again, remind her of your limits in the moment:
"I don't want to be called a gutterslut by non-partners, okay?"
"This isn't a subject for right now."
"I don't want to talk about that here."
Comments like that. If she continues crossing boundaries in spite of repeated reminders and clarifications, then you will have to think about what steps you'll take to maintain the boundary yourself. This could include anything from no longer speaking to her at the dungeon, walking away from unwanted conversations, not inviting her to gatherings with your polycule where a lot of open degradation occurs, asking a dungeon attendant to prevent her from approaching you during a scene, and making remarks that turn the attention back on her if she tries airing out details about your kinks in front of strangers.
That your friend has had a rough year is immaterial on the question of whether you get to have the boundaries that you have. You are not doing anything to harm her or the relationship by articulating what you need, and she chooses to ignore your boundaries once you've stated them explicitly, any tension that introduces to the friendship will fall on her.

Okay so in 1.03 Dead In The Water, there's this exchange Sam and Dean have at one point in regards to Lucas—the little boy who watched his dad drown, who Dean connects with during the episode:
DEAN Andrea said the kid never drew like that till his dad died. SAM There are cases—going through a traumatic experience could make people more sensitive to premonitions, psychic tendencies. DEAN Whatever's out there, what if Lucas is tapping into it somehow? I mean, it's only a matter of time before somebody else drowns, so if you got a better lead, please.
And the last time I watched this episode, I went "Oh cool! A little Psychic!Sam Easter Egg." Right? Sam goes through the traumatic experience of losing Jess, and he's tapped into "whatever's out there" (the yellow eyed demon) and he's having premonitions about what he's going to do next. Which definitely makes a lot of sense.
But when I was gif-ing stuff from 1.03 today, I realized that... funnily enough, within the context of this episode we also have some fun stuff relating to the "slightly psychic Dean" posts that have gone around this year... Or if you prefer, Cassandra!Dean. Cassandra, in reference to the prophet in Greek myth, cursed by Apollo to utter true prophecies but never be believed.
Dean often knows when bad things are going to happen in Supernatural. He doesn't have visions—but he has "bad feelings" and makes predictions that turn out to be scarily accurate at times. Of course we can infer that Dean is just good at 1) reading people and 2) understanding how sequences of events tumble one by one in a row like so many dominoes. It's another sign of his incredible intelligence. But it IS fun to think about Dead In The Water as the first indication of Cassandra!Dean.
First, because Lucas has premonitions, and Lucas and Dean are paralleled and connect on an emotional level.
Dean and Lucas have similar traumatic childhood experiences. Both watched a parent die and both lost the ability to speak afterwards:
DEAN You're scared. It's okay. I understand. See, when I was your age, I saw something real bad happen to my mom, and I was scared, too. I didn't feel like talking, just like you. But see, my mom—I know she wanted me to be brave. I think about that every day. And I do my best to be brave. And maybe, your dad wants you to be brave too.
Dean is able to connect with Lucas through their shared traumatic experience. He's the only one who's able to get through to him—and after a short conversation and just drawing together for a while—much to his mom's shock. Dean is able to understand what Lucas is feeling without Lucas saying it.
Second, because Lucas has bad feelings that tell him the locations where the spirit will strike next, but no one listens to/believes him.
...Kind of like people usually don't listen to/believe Dean's bad feelings.
DEAN Anyway. Well, maybe you don't think anyone will listen to you, or, uh...or believe you. I want you to know that I will. You don't even have to say anything. You could draw me a picture about what you saw that day, with your dad, on the lake.
Of course, this line is just Dean paralleling Lucas with himself and his own reasons for not speaking, but it must hit home, because Lucas begins communicating with Dean through drawings.
Further, despite Sam also knowing Lucas is having premonitions, when Lucas reacts with extreme distress to the idea of going home and clings to Dean desperately, Sam still... doesn't think it means anything. He thinks the case is over.
Third, Dean has a bad feeling that the case isn't over, and Sam doesn't believe him.
The sheriff had just threatened to arrest them if they stayed in town, so of course going back to town is a big deal. When Dean turns around based on a bad feeling, Sam thinks he's just being paranoid.
SAM But Dean, this job, I think it's over. DEAN I'm not so sure. SAM If Bill murdered Peter Sweeney and Peter's spirit got its revenge, case closed. The spirit should be at rest. DEAN All right, so what if we take off and this thing isn't done? You know, what if we've missed something? What if more people get hurt? SAM But why would you think that? DEAN Because Lucas was really scared. SAM That's what this is about?
Dean sticks to his guns, and they arrive just in time to save Lucas's mother from drowning in a bathtub.

tips on bonding with a forgotten god 👍
so, you want to attract some long forgotten (or newly created) spirit with no reputation. honestly, i'd label this kind of unsafe and risky, but i did it, so i'm not gonna stop you if you really want to. just keep in mind that, while attempting to contact a forgotten god? you're gonna run into other stuff. this is essentially reaching your hand into the spiritual mystery box and shaking it around, and some of the stuff that lurks down there is bitey. here is my obligatory tread with caution first, put up wards against anything malicious etc etc, but realistically. i can't stop you.
general forgotten god bonding tips:
keep an energy of openness about you. just broadcasting a general thought of "hey, i'm here, and i want to talk to you." they listen. if they want to talk to you, they'll find a way.
look for reccuring signs in your life. humans like to find patterns in everything, but look for a sign that affects you on a large scale. a lot of these signs can be found around big changes or life events. ask who that random streak of strangely specific good luck or that weirdly occuring motif or that time you almost died but didn't belongs to! sometimes, you'll get an answer. other times, it's just chance, which, there's nothing wrong with that either.
talk out loud to "any spirits who may be nearby." i used to do really vague wide spells like this by saying that exact phrase, and it works for drawing them in or warding them off.
communicate with them. communicating is huge. talking is huge. they'll tell you a lot about themselves if they're chatty and want to foster a connection with you, although some will be harder than others.
ask what offerings they'd like! once you know someone is there, and you determine you'd like to work with them, ask them things. i know it seems annoying but a lot of the forgotten gods just appreciate you caring enough to do so.
find out what they stand for. help them with it!
be a little crazy with them. part of having a really cool relationship with a forgotten god is just being really weird together. it can be a part of your practice and I wholeheartedly encourage you to get a little weird with it. in whatever way you see fit.
and last, but definitely not least,
most importantly, imo, but there's a reason that when creatures or angels or demons are depicted, it's a lot. it will be a lot. there is a reason angels tell you to 'be not afraid'.
i am gently taking your hands, and telling you,
when you meet an old god,
be not afraid.
they are beings just like us at the end of the day. they may not be on our level, like, at all, but basic human respect and kindness goes a long way. i've seen spirits shy off because people have such a set image of the deity in their mind as a deity that they forget that.. you can be friendly with them. no one is going to smite you down. they will also want to talk about their days. they have niche hobbies. they have lives.
be not afraid.
don't blow them out of proportion. be respectful, and kind, and coexist with them instead of apologizing for breathing the air they occupy, and things will fall as they should.
anyways. this got long so i can make a follow up post of how to bond with Cou specifically, but i'm leaving this here for now.
thank you to @caidenthewitch for the fun engaging question. i am by no means a professional but hell, it worked for me, so 👍
i hope this experience helps!

It’s been eye opening seeing the discussion around mods here. I don’t participate in RP or go to social events so I never knew the gatekeeping around mods was so pervasive, but I knew about the insecurity with vanilla gpose.
My question is, how do we start making this community better and more inviting? I know one person won’t solve things over night or ever and it’s an uphill climbs, but how do we START?
That's a good question, honestly, and one I think is really multi-faceted! In my opinion, mods are a symptom of an overarching problem within the xiv space as a whole, so making blanket statements around banning and/or cutting them out don't really do anything and serves more as kneejerk response. I really do believe mods have a place when they are utilised properly and for personal joy.
I think the biggest thing a single person can do is keep an eye out for console/vanilla players and advocate for them. It's like I said before in regards to roleplay: if someone is earnestly coming into a space with good-faith intentions, we owe it to them to meet them in the middle with our own and not exclude them on the basis of things they cannot necessarily control.
From a gpose perspective, uplift vanilla creators! I think it's good to uplift creative work in general regardless of tools, and I wish people used the reblog/repost(for bsky/twitter) more, but there's some really great work being done by vanilla gposers and a lot of guides I've personally included on the Compendium about how you can achieve a really pretty gpose if you're limited in your toolset.
From an art party perspective, I think people need to be more considerate of other players and not assume that social media presentation is the norm. Again, I don't really go to art parties (I'm not an artist) but even something like a party host stating on the tin that mare/mods are optional and attendance does come with the caveat that your character may be drawn as their vanilla self may do wonders to help. After all, it's not like a modded player can't put a link in their xiv profile to carrd with their modded screenshots, y'know? But there should be less of an expectation that someone has to jump hoops to see your oc and more of an appreciation they were drawn at all. I'm not about to snuff someone drawing any of my ocs, I'll tell you what SDFJKLGHSDF. I also think, on an individual level, we can hold our friends accountable for their biases around vanilla players when it feels like they're being needlessly judgemental or exclusionary, or even when they're panicking about their own mods not being shown. Again, it's about uplifting people rather than putting them down. Mods don't make a character; the player makes a character through the love, dedication and time they pour into them—whether that is through mod-hunting or spending three days farming an Ivalice top (I'm calling myself out here). It's important that people know that.
From a roleplay perspective, it's kind of the same deal. Ensure within your own spaces/communities that mods feel truly optional. Make an effort to include new people; especially new roleplayers who don't know the ins-and-outs of modding in the scene. Call out biases and remind people that just because a person doesn't have the rp addon or doesn't have mods that they still might be a writer/roleplayer and that the calibre of what they put to paper matters more than personal aesthetic. That goes for how pretty a carrd/website looks, the aesthetic of their tumblr, etc. Not everyone has an eye for colour theory, blocking and everything else that goes into making an artist, but some of those people are fucking fantastic storytellers. Read more short fics and ask replies! Comment on people's word! Express interest in their stories! We're human beings who are supposed to be weird, messy and fun. Invite people to different events and show them what's out there.
I do my best with the spaces that I have, but I have an atrocious timezone for events at the best of times. Just know if anyone ever comes to the Fireside I'm not going to care a lick whether they have mods or not as long as we're having fun in our roleplay.
Beyond that... well, I don't touch a lot of the modding community for the aforementioned reasons. I think that's a far bigger problem than you, I or anyone on this website can solve. The horse has bolted. There's so much decentralization around mods and creators wanting to keep control and potentially make money that can't really be solved. I think as long as people are mindful of the above and don't take mods too seriously, that in itself can be a pushback against it.

"Hey guys, let's check on that weird elf lover lady" - Status update(?)
⚠️ˢˡⁱᵍʰᵗ ᵗʷ!⚠️
So, other than grinding in college and trying to absorb as much TES lore as possible, I've been working on a speculation piece for the current (crisis) state of the Summerset Isles. I've made a few new friends who are also interested in helping me forge together an accurate current picture of the illusive province, now ruled by an oppressive authoritative system. Speaking of college, I'm majoring in history (you can already imagine how I feel every day waking up to the news)! And what I love to do most with a lot of the media I consume is draw comparisons to real-life historical events and phenomena.
I hope you can see where this is going. Getting back into TES lore again after years of being discouraged (a story for another time, it's not a pretty one) was the best thing to ever happen to me because there was this entire gold mine worth of material for me to investigate and study. But the lore tidbits and chunks that I ended up looking over more and more were practically everything that revolved around the Altmer. I do find their culture and customs to be extremely interesting, especially with how I'm absolutely obsessed with glamorized dystopian themes depicted in media. I just don't show it often because people always assume the worst.
I will be crystal clear, I still have so much to learn about the Altmer and TES lore in general. I have been previously stunted in learning both aspects (again, a story for another time). So, I may be joking around a lot and goofing off a lot on this dump blog, but what no one sees is me scribbling down notes under the table. And trust me, I'm always writing and watching. They may look like insane rants made by an airhead, but hey, I'm still doing my best!
I am aware that what I'm doing is not popular within the mainstream(?) space of the modern TES community. The High Elves are seen as nothing more than heartless snobs who think that they are better than everyone else. When everyone and their grandmother should know this is the furthest from the truth, and we were given far too many examples of that. Hell, the Dunmer are more beloved than the Altmer, and they would be canceled yesterday if Morrowind came out in the modern day (along with the masses learning about how they treated Argonians).
All TES races and some of their customs have unsightly facts about them in some shape or form. Yes, I am aware of the Altmer practicing eugenics and other not-so-fun facts. Trust me, that was hammered into my skull back in the day whenever I dared to have curiosity. In fact, every bad fact about every elven race in general was fed into me back when I lacked the spine to do my own research in order to appease the wrong kind of people.
I don't want to ramble on for too long. That's what I've been up to for the last few weeks. Thank you for reading! :>

Hey! Do you have any information regarding Rotten Heaven and their creations? I specifically would like to know more about Busuko and Honue. Thank youuu <3
Hi, I'm not sure exactly what kind of info you're looking for so I'll just go with a basic introduction of the Artist and his contribution to Ukagaka.
Rotten Heaven is a website created by artist Watazou/Wat 「real name: Tomohiko Watanabe」. The website was created in 2001, firstly as a tripod website and got delete somewhere in late 2016. The website mainly served as a diary, gallery and download site for his creations.
About: Watazou is a sucker for metal music (who would've thought ?) his favorite groups being Death Angel, Exodus, Alice in Chains, Megadeth, etc. He also loves Vocaloid, most notably Miku & Luka, drawing various fanart & having a collection. He also wrote in his dairy about events and festivals he went to. Wat also was a fan of Hellboy and Mike Mignola. On his Twitter he has been posting a lot about Uma Musume: Pretty Derby.
Watazou was very active in the Ukagaka community, he notably created various original Ukagaka Ghosts over the years which were all very complete.
🥀The Toxic Waltz [2001]
"Slash-hardcore clothing and fast-paced animation, high tension and angry conversations will transport you to a world that cannot be replicated. She is also known for her funny interactions with other Ghosts, and is in any case a ghost with a high degree of communication excellence."
Ghost consisting of Busuko "Diva Satanica" her companion Honeyu and her sisters, Kusuko "Chemical Warfare" & Kakuko "Atomic Smasher". An additional shell would later be created for Busuko, called Busyakko or Yakko for short.

Left: Busyakko - Right: Busuko, her sisters & Honeyu
🦴Hone Hone Oyako [2006]
Ghost consisting of Honeyu and his daughter Honue who can also be spotted in the Ghost The Toxic Waltz, randomly appearing. She features multiple Outfits which are randomised at launch.
🪦RottenHeaven - Graveyard Lovesong [2008]
Ghost consisting of RottenHeaven, a living dead girl, inspired by the Frankenstein's monster & her companion Heartache. RottenHeaven's scripts are mostly written in Hiragana/Katakana with no Kanji.
Un addition to that, he also created a number of Ghosts, notably clock ones, Shells for Ghosts such as 54 or Talker, a Ghost named "Raven" for the baseware Crow, participated in art books and drew fanart of various other Ghosts. His own creations, most Notably Busuko for The Toxic Waltz was featured in many fanart within the community and fan games such UkaSamsh & U-New de Bomber XP. A fansite The Toxic Alliance (毒子同盟) would even be created by fans of The Toxic Waltz
On a last note, Wat notably collaborated with Ryūō Zero/Zero-r, creator of the Ghost Blood Tea House, to create a series of merch featuring Busuko & Urako for the Ukagaka Anniversary Event of 2012.
And there you go, I hope this answers some of your questions, there's definitely some information that I haven't seen being shared by many users before so that should teach people a few things. Looking into this made me love Watazou's work even more.
HAVE A GOOD FRIENDLY VIOLENT FUN !

goodbye campfire fest!!
this has been so so much fun- i'm so happy i got to be able to be a part of this wonderful event with so many talented artists and writers- it's been so beautiful seeing everyone's interpretations and writing and i've loved seeing everyone come together to create something unique. being so excited to open tumblr everyday and see what people's contributions are has been the highlight of my days this week, and it's so cool to me that i can be a part of this for the first event, and even though it was a teensy bit stressful, i'm so glad i've been able to hit all the prompts.
i can't wait to see what people might post during late submissions!! gonna keep checking every day to see. I've found many new talented artists and writers I had never seen before through this event, you all are seriously so nice and have been so sweet to me and to each other, this event has made me so happy.
I can't wait to see more from all of you. happy fest and much love!
@outerwilds-events

some more doodles(base game and eote spoilers) + random sappy rambling (positive vent?) below cut
some other random doodles from this weekend <3

yes I gave prisoner ears. I'm sorry I'm too much of a furry for this fandom aha
on a serious note, this fandom and this game have been my favorite thing about this year so far. Seriously, I was actually having a really tough couple months around the start of this year. I was dealing with a really really toxic friend in November and December and I was struggling to get over them. I was having a hard time letting go of my hurt and of the memory of them and our friendship- I was hurt and angry and I missed how great it was in the beginning. It was really tough for me, I didn't have any way to distract myself and I didn't have a way to let out my feelings. I felt stuck and trapped with a horrible memory and I didn't have the motivation to let it go. Then comes along this silly little game, that I remembered trying to play forever ago. I decided that I should probably try to play it again, and god it was the best decision I've ever made. This game, it has brought me so so much joy. I finally felt like I was able to let go and learn to move on and just enjoy the good memories while still remembering that they're in the past and while I can't change what happened, I can look forward to the future and hope. this game helped me cope with the grief, it helped me learn how to take care of myself and recover. It affected me so much in many ways, I will never ever forget it. This community has also brought me so much happiness, I've met so many wonderful and kind people, and I've became friends with some really cool people(one person in particular has been especially swaggers, you know who you are you weirdo /affectionate /plat). campfire fest has been great and I'm glad I got to be a part of it!! When I was thinking of what to draw for today, all I could think of was the immense amount of support I've received and given, and seen being passed around. So I figured it should be something to express that love!! Much love, and goodbye to campfire fest!! Can't wait to do this again next year <333

Thank you for the pain it was delicious, 10/10 will order again
I have so many feelings about it HHHH I feel like I accidentally dug myself into a situation (or you did it on purpose you mad lad) that made everything hit harder.
When I first started reading Caged Lungs, like the first third or even quarter I was convinced it was a bad dream. Or like a bad trip from the mushrooms on the pizza. That oh, everyone's gonna just wake up and it'll be fine, there's gonna be reassurances and comfort. But then... It's kind of like a dawning horror situation when I realized more and more that hey, this is real. It's taking chunks out of their lives, they're still doing day to day things but it's getting worse. I didn't even catch it during the fight with Hypno, I just shrugged and went huh, that's weird.
But as it mentions the time crawling and they keep getting worse and Donnies mental health plummeting...
I hit the end and panicked because hey? Wtf? (/pos)
But seeing everything slowly go back to "normal" in Clipped Wings adds to this. Because it's the realization of no, this is real... Or is it? This all happened... Right? Everything should be the way it is but now they're STILL gaslighting him but accidentally this time.
Their denial can only work for so long until it damages both parties. And I feel like it's already there.
This fic has a choke hold on me and I squeal every time I see a new update, unreliable narrator is one of my favorite tropes and you do it SO WELL
:D :D :D YEAASSSS very glad i pulled off the kind of dreamlike quality to caged lungs that i was going for!!! (in some scenes more than others i really tried to accentuate it, like the second-to-last scene with the post-shredder flashback. i mostly used it to draw the most painful contrast i could between how its all ended up vs how it USED to be. very fun to compare the earliest scenes to the final ones though, especially when it comes to donnie's behavior, because it is so painful and jarring) nothing is ever truly MADE UP in donnie's narration, but his grip on reality slips further and further, and with it a lot of the details are twisted (he misinterprets april a lot especially, and also dissociates quite a bit and has memory issues. there's an entire BEATDOWN that you only see the tail-end of because he doesn't remember it, which is probably a good thing considering its one of the most traumatic events from when they were under the curse, probably third behind the murder attempt and the closet. i mean he doesn't remember NOW but..... they do.)
and i hesitate to call their behavior now gaslighting, since gaslighting is an intentional act of abuse intended to make the victim feel like they cant trust themselves and their own memory, etc etc. them covering up the evidence is PLAYING INTO what they did, but they're not denying it (they're doing the opposite, in fact, with how much they're ruminating on it and trying to fix their mistakes, although covering up the evidence is them trying to run away from it to abate their guilt lmao). less lying more omitting the truth, but its still hurting just as much because donnie has conditioned himself to think his memory is unreliable and he "makes things up" because of his "victim complex". even though he's dissociative and is currently struggling with memory issues because of that, he instinctively panics when he gets confused on the details, and they have also conditioned him to be afraid to ASK now, because they would get mad at him for doing it.... its a whole mess. donnie doesn't even know how to communicate his needs anymore, and they dont know they need to ask.
thank you for the ask!!! microwaving this in my brain mmm yumm
#ask#canary continuity#rottmnt#next update should be sooner than the last one#because the power went out and i wrote like 2k words with no internet this morning LMAO

[Communication Systems Online]
"That should do..."
"Greeting everybody. My name is Leo, and I run a Laboratory alongside my coworkers/peers."
"We specialize in multiversal transportation, robotics, genetic engineering, combat weaponry, plus a handful of other departments."
"I personally specialize in all things combat and medical research, though I'm not exempt from discussing other topics."
"I do hope you will be able to get along well with everybody. The last thing I want is for any complications or arguments among others."
//Psst, down here!
//Yeesh, I finally got around to it, huh? Hello everyone! This is a remake of an ask blog called @ask-leo-and-company which was on a whole other account, so I remade it over on my main, @cherrithechu, as a side blog!
Here are some guidelines if you decide to shoot an ask:
-No NSFW asks
-Dont be irritating in the asks
-Any out of character asks should start with //
-Use a ❔,❓, or ? followed by the character name to ask what that character is up to
-Any post with the "#side story" tag means it's cannon, but not happening during the events of some major story that may be happening
-M!A are allowed, but nothing visual. All these icons were commissioned (except for Whisper's) and I can't draw lmao
-Hackmail is open! If you don't know what that is, it's basically Rotumblr's Pelipper Mail, but OneShot themed
-Be edgy and fun! These guys are from WAY back in middle school, so don't expect five-star writing here, I'm here here to have fun! Everybody has ties to several IPs, such as OneShot, Pokemon, Persona, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.
//If you wanna check out all the stuff that's happened previously, check out the original blog for yourself
//Also everyone you can ask is down below!
-Leo (He/Him) (The stereotypical stoic one, just wanting things to go to plan. Resembles and Octoling purely by coincidence after an experiment with genetic modification on himself)
-Theodore (He/Him) (The chaotic one. Theo is the kind of person to lay out his life for his pals, and just wants people to enjoy their lives! ...But don't let him near a box of matches. That didn't end well last time...)
-Abigial (She/Her) (Leo's Daughter. An artificial human that just wants to live her best life with her friends. She attends High School whenever she isn't helping around in the lab, and is slightly spoiled by her dad and Theo)
-Whisper the Zorua (They/Them) (A Hisuian Zorua who made its way into Leo's lab, and now stays by his side at all times as a friend)
-The Plushmaker (She/Her) (An ethereal being whose sole purpose is to bring comfort to mortals across the multiverse)
-Aster (He/Him) (The universe's Chaos God of Destruction. Now taking residence in a replica of Leo's body, he plans to enjoy himself after the millennia he was sealed away for)
//And with that, ask away!

Star Sending Event Info
Welcome to the Pokeask community’s first Star Sending Event. Basically, this is a Holiday Exchange (AKA, Secret Santa) with a little twist: It’s in-character! Write up a wishlist for your characters and in exchange receive another blog’s character’s wishlist - one which you either draw or write your character completing their gift as best they can.
This is not a full fledged event with a location your characters must attend, interact with others, etc. You only need to do three things: Write your character's wishlist, fill the sign-up form, and do your piece for who you get!
Continue reading for info on how to participate!
Important Links
Intro P.1 | Intro P.2 | Info Tag | Wishlist Template | Contact Info SIGNUP FORM TO PARTICIPATE
Continue reading for rules and other necessary info!
BASIC INFO
These are limited to Pokemon OC blogs or ask blogs!
One entry per PERSON.
The form to apply is found above, just make sure you read the full document first.
Do not expect to send or receive more than one gift (But you can choose to provide more than one should you be inspired)!
As part of your entry, you can submit multiple Wishlists for your characters, with one list each. This gives your Sender multiple options to choose from. More lists does not guarantee more gifts to receive.
Senders may do as much or as little as they like with their submission, as long as it meets the minimum requirements for the post.
Feel free to reply to your Sender’s submission as well, and use it to kickstart an interaction!
You MUST keep your Recipient a secret.
Do not share with anybody that is also participating in the event.
This event focuses around character interactions.
Politely, I ask you don’t join with the sole intent of getting free art or writing pieces. While I ask for effort in submissions, the main goal is to spark little interactions between the characters from different blogs!
TIMELINE
Assume all dates are done under the Eastern Standard Time Zone. We do not have exact times because our team is doing this within our availability and have life priorities outside of the event.
Our application period starts from now, and runs until the 3rd of November.
Wishlists will be distributed on the 4th or the 5th, depending on availability and any extra organisation needed.
You may start working on your submission as soon as you receive your Wishlist!
We will be checking in on submission progress on two separate WIP dates; the 25th of November and the 15th of December. This will be to make sure you’re on track with your submission.
A verbal update is sufficient for the first Checkup, but we expect something more substantial by the second Checkup.
If no update is received a backup entrant will be assigned to your Recipient. We will have one final Checkup on the 10th of January for unsubmitted posts.
As part of the above, PLEASE keep a line of communication open with us! We will be understanding if you find you cannot complete your gift and there is no judgement towards you should that occur. We want the event to be as fun as possible!
WISHLIST INFO
Wishlist Template | Example 1 | Example 2 | Example 3 | Example 4
Wishlist Due Date: November 3rd
Five Wishlist items per character, max.
As part of submitting your Wishlist, you MUST make sure to include some kind of visual reference for the characters that you are submitting lists for.
Wishlists may be posted publicly, and posting them is even encouraged! Tag them under #pokestarsending2023.
Wishlists are allowed to be farfetched, abstract, or even impossible to complete in-canon if it is in-character for your OCs to request such a thing.
If you’re unsure what this qualifies as, check the list examples or confirm with a mod!
In the case something your character would ask for is something you as the blog owner does not want to be completed for plot or story reasons, please leave a note written OOC stating so!
Lists can be written in-character, out-of-character, by a different character on the blog, or just a simple bullet pointed list.
As everything is completed in-character, do not expect the Sender to complete any wishes in a proper manner if it doesn’t seem fit for them!
SUBMISSION INFO
The period for posting for submissions will start on the 24th of December and ends on the 31st of January.
We ask that you send your submission to be checked over with us to make sure it meets all requirements. Once approved, you may post!
If you require more character info about your Recipient, you may ask us to ask for you while keeping you anonymous!
Remember: It is your character that is completing what is requested on the Wishlist.
Your character does not need to be able to fully complete a gift item from your Recipient’s list, if it isn’t realistic for them (i.e. their Wishlist asks for Technology and your character is a Wild Pokemon, which may be unrealistic or abstract). HOWEVER, there should still be effort put forth by your character in providing the gift.
Try to keep the tone positive and heartwarming, unless you receive permission from the character owners for your submission to take on a different tone.
Post by @-ing your Recipient, and include the tag #pokestarsending2023! We will be reblogging all submissions.
If you are unavailable to post your piece during the submission period, please let us know! We can post it for you on our blog.
Writing minimum: 600 of words minimum.
600 words is the minimum we ask of a writing submission to make sure enough is put into describing the gift and/or gift giving process. If you find yourself struggling to meet the minimum, please reach out to us with your WIP so we can can help review it with you.
In the case you plan to write the Recipient as part of your submission, we will inform you if the person receiving would prefer you not to write their character in your submission.
Instead, try focusing on other details: How would your character prepare the gift? What process do they take in doing so? To what lengths do they go? Also, make sure you describe the gift itself and how it’s delivered to its Recipient.
Art Minimum: Either a coloured full-body, or a half-body with a background (at least three props).
Must include the character of the Wishlist. Including your own character is encouraged.
Comic Minimum: Clean sketch, 3 panels.
Must include character of the Wishlist. Including your own character is encouraged.
The minimum requirements may change if we feel they need to be adjusted. We will announce any changes, and by the submissions drawing period, we will have finalised them.
Final Notes.
Questions and constructive feedback are always welcome and never stupid! We are happy to clarify anything. Be it through the messaging system, or ask. You can also contact us on discord for any further communication; please see the contact page on the Star Sending blog for more info!
If you are stumped in any way of participating, you are free to ask for help or feedback from the team!
To make sure you have read everything, I have included a little passcode requirement in the form. What was your first pokemon game? (Non-mainline games are valid)
Make sure to reference examples and templates to aid in your submission!
Thank you for your consideration in participating! I am just one person with some friends, hoping to run something nice for this community, and I sincerely hope I can do my best for you. Every effort to make this as great as can be is hugely and humbly cherished.

alright i'm gonna do it. my tcm fanfics:
The Sawyer Sisters, Fifty Years Later. the first one i posted which i wanted to get done in time for the 50th anniversary of the events of the first movie (not the movie itself, that was this year). consider it an introduction of sorts to the setting and characters of my gender-swapped au. written as an in-universe journalistic article but the kind that someone may have written out, sat down and looked at for a while, then discarded. i wrote it a few weeks before posting and i think it came out well enough. i felt like i should do something to celebrate the date and also establish my ideas.
The Texas Chainsaw Tarot. a conceptual piece that just consists of my descriptions of what i'd imagine a tcm-themed tarot deck would look like. i'm interested in tarot from an artistic/symbolic perspective and designing fandom-themed tarot decks is always fun, but i can't draw so i have to write it out instead. i'm glad i posted it on ao3 because it got some decent engagement. i still stand by all my choices.
don't question the virtue names: the sawyer sisters saga. this is my collection of all the sawyer sisters-verse fics i've posted. i'd already had these written but i did some significant edits before posting, and i think they turned out alright. still it's a very niche thing to have written so i didn't expect much of an audience. it's possible to read these like original fiction, but it would be too much to make the necessary changes to make it actual original fiction, you know? anyway what i've posted so far is focused on chastity (chop top's counterpart) and what she was doing in 1969-1973, because i felt that needed the most elaboration in this universe, and it turned into a whole thing because i just kept writing more and more detailed lore. i'll probably post more stories focused on other characters and time periods at some point, but for now we have a three-part history. (chass has kind of become my blorbo from my brain due to how much i've expended on her story, and she's not even really my favorite of the sort-of ocs!)
features a lot of 60s-70s cult stuff, partly inspired by some of the true crime literature i read around this time for "research", and partly by just the general vibe of the era. i deliberately didn't want this directly based off of any real-life things even though it's impossible not to be influenced, just as real cult leaders were probably inspired by the tactics of others before them. also features a lot of ocs.
i actually wrote these in reverse order of how they ended up being posted. i just kept going further back in the timeline while i wrote
ace of swords, or the rhythm of life (is a powerful beat). the first in the aforementioned series. chastity goes to la, meets and eats a girl, joins a new community, meets another girl, and... this was just meant to establish how she got to the final point, but it became its own thing soon enough. 2 chapters, 14k words.
hit the floor (and crawl to your mama). chastity goes to a party and has her first negative experience with the cult, then goes home, but not for long. originally written as an interlude of sorts. the last chapter takes place later in the timeline than everything else that's been posted so far, because again, these were written in reverse order. 3 chapters, 12k words.
the flesh failures (let the sun shine in). the last part...for now. chastity does something she's not proud of and unintentionally performs a heroic action, then gets her head bashed in for it. 3 chapters, 14k words.
more to come if i ever post the rest, and then...who knows? i'd also really like to expand on this verse here in ways that wouldn't fit into a published fanfic, regardless of whether anyone else cares lol.

Howdy howdy! First I just wanted to say; Congrats on 10,000 followers! You deserve it!! Your hard work, creativity and dedication are so present in everything you do, and it's so inspiring. I wish you lots of luck in your future projects ☺️☺️
May I please ask for a romantic ship for The Boys?
I'm 22, non-binary (AFAB, if that matters) pansexual/romantic, and polyamorous (no preference for gender)
General personality stuff:
MBTI is INFP
Ennegram types 2, 4 and 8
Zodiac: Taurus sun, pieces moon and rising
Hogwarts house- Hufflepuff
I'm in college- Women and Gender Studies major with a Queer Studies minor
My goal is to go into harm reduction/community + advocacy work : )
Dreams for the future; ideally a semi-active lifestyle where I can pursue my interests- I'd like to have a home gym, a gaming set up and a crafting room one day. The work I'm going into will likely be very emotionally draining so ideally I'd have the free time to relax/recharge by playing games, doing art, and hanging out with my partner. Something I'd really love to do one day is get really high and go into an aquarium or planetarium
Favorite places I've been; Costa Rica, Italy, Santa Cruz/Monterey (specifically the boardwalk and aquarium)- I'd love to visit France and Japan someday
Pet peeves; I strongly dislike when people have an inflated ego and genuinely don't care about/respect others. Hate capitalism/pro-capitalist arguments and People who don't recognize larger underlying issues or who choose to ignore key information when looking at an issue
I hate when people are condescending and cruel. I get super annoyed with people who don't follow road safety or who are just rude drivers
Appearance: I'm 5'3, chubby, and kinda muscular. I have lots of scars on arms, chest, and legs. I have mid-length brown hair that I usually wear in a half-up style. I like dying it but bc I'm working right now, the ends are just bleached. I have dark brown eyes, some freckles/moles/scars littered across my face, and round cheeks. Fashion consists of graphic tees (with puns, memes, and trippy art) and jeans or shorts/cargo pants. I'll wear lots of different kinds of jewelry, including fun earrings, chains, and chokers. My style is casual/comfortable. I put effort in, but prioritize comfort lol
Hobbies/likes- theatre/acting, going to the gym, roller skating, playing video games, listening to music (and singing along.. Badly), smoking weed, watching TV shows and movies, drawing/coloring hanging out with friends, Writing, reading, going to museums/amusement parks, taking care of/watching animals, making bracelets/jewelry, surfing/swimming
intellectual interests; extistentialism, law/politics, current event/media analysis, anything to do with space or the ocean, animals/environmentalism, studying languages
Positive traits: my friends have told me that I'm smart, funny/goofy, sarcastic, polite, thoughtful, strong, patient, trusting/trustworthy, empathetic and compassionate. My friends generally come to me for advice and I've been told I'm a good listener. I also like make myself useful (doing dishes, wiping down counters, laundry, etc) I'm passionate and very excitable and it makes me pretty talkative (when I want to be). Sociability depends on my mood. Sometimes I sit back and enjoy group dynamics, other times I participate more in conversation
Negative traits: I'm pretty self conscious/ insecure, and indecisive because of it. I definitely have a tendency to be envious. Bad habit of taking stuff personally and dwelling on issues that I should let go. can get annoyed/frustrated easily, especially if I'm overstimulated. I'm also jumpy and gullible. Communication is very important to me in all my relationships, but when I get depressed, I tend to isolate.
I show my love through acts of service and prefer words of affirmation. I enjoy doing things for my loved ones and making sure they can relax, feel safe, and be happy. I'm not exactly sure how to describe my type so I'll list a couple characters I simp for lol- Wolfwood (trigun), Aki (chainsaw man), Percy (Vox Machina), Levi (attack on Titan); I guess how I'd describe them is- sarcastic, closed off but vulnerable, funny, brooding, obsessive, sensitive
Misc stuff
- Right now, some of my favorite media includes The Boys, Trigun, The Office, Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, Breaking Bad, Hollow Knight and Arcane.
- Games I usually play include Overwatch, League (I'm ashamed), Hollow Knight, Pokemon and Harvest Moon
- Currently Attempting to get through a book called The God Problem. Super interesting but goddamm it's thick
- I collect a lot of stuff. I have a Ton of comfort items- my posters, stuffed animals, collectible figures, etc.
- When I first meet people, I'm overly formal and will crack a few jokes, but once I'm familiar with someone, I cuss a lot and enjoy playful teasing, but I always encourage to set boundaries if they need to.
- I'm a big over thinker. I can be pretty independent and self sufficient (sometimes) but I'm also very very insecure and doubt myself a lot. I've got lots of vocal stims and am pretty fidgety.
- I listen to a lot of different kinds of music but I think the main genres I listen to are indie and alt rock
- some of my favorite artists include khai dreams, Hozier, Mitski, Maneskin, Queen, and The Weekend, and I really enjoy musical/cartoon scores and soundtracks (especially Adventure Time and Steven Universe)
- Fave songs right now are Stress Relief (late night drive home), Good Luck Babe (chappel roan), Don't Look Back (kotomi, Ryan elder), First Time (Hozier), and Die For You (the weekend)
I did my best to flow along with the rules you laid out- hopefully I didn't miss anything- I apologize if I did. I know this is really long, so I apologize if it's overwhelming. Please don't feel pressured to answer. Take care! 💛
-thatstonedwriter

Marvin loves your intelligence. Whether you're talking about politics and law or the best way to undermine Vought, he's absolutely blown away by your thought process. He's always bragging about how smart you are to anyone who'd listen
Everyone else you work with (maybe there are one or two exceptions) tends to think about what they want and act on it compulsively. You're level headed, thoughtful, something he wasn't used to at first, but instantly fell for
You and Marvin are constantly doing things to make each others lives easier. You might wash the dishes one night while he folds the laundry. Showing up at the office with coffee and something sweet when he pulls an all-nighter. Small gestures that mean so much and that show your love
Dealing with Butcher means being told hurtful things and being expected to brush it off like it's nothing. Knowing it'll hurt you deeply, Marvin makes it clear to him (in private of course) that you're off limits. He can be an a--hole to him all he wants, but he draws the line when it comes to you, no exceptions
Marvin definitely takes inventory of all the things you collect (posters, trinkets, etc.) and, no matter what, finds something to add to it. He finds tons of small, cute things that remind him of you. They're left on your desk or on the counter in the kitchen where he knows you'll see. Usually there's a little note attached in his pristine handwriting, always with a heart by his name as if you didn't know it was him who'd left it there
I hope you like it my love!!!! :D Xoxoxo💜💜💜💜
