Hanging around my family for an extended amount of time, I’m finding that I’m a lot less neurotic. However, i’m also finding that I’m a lot more short tempered and easily slighted, so it’s kinda a wash.

It’s funny because my sisters always beg me to go out with them and I always say “no I’m too tired.” Which I admit is awful of me. But the one time I have an entire day planned for us they quit halfway because they’re tired and want to go home. I just prepared for a whole day I had so much energy left!! I wanted to still do more they completely killed it. It made me mad and disappointed. The one time I’m ready they aren’t, and maybe that’s selfish? But still it’s upsetting and makes me angry. I know my sister wouldn’t do that with her friends. She brushes me off and doesn’t even care to acknowledge me after she “gets tired” like that’s it. She’s done. I don’t get to even talk to her from that point on it’s so hard to be around her. And my youngest sister is still a child so I must understand when she acts the way she does, or stands to close, or talks to loud but I can’t stand it sometimes and then she also says “I’m tired” and then that’s it. I can’t do it anymore we went home after that. I just don’t understand. Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I should be more understanding..

The whole werewolf concept is basically izuku gets attacked (sometime between first getting ofa and a little bit after the dorms were put in place) and doesn’t fully remember what happened but shortly afterwards, his senses are amplified and he’s faster/stronger. He chalks it up to training and ofa, but what he’s oblivious to is the fact that during the nights surrounding the full moon, he transforms into a bloodthirsty wolf-man

Meanwhile, Aizawa and some other underground heroes have been tracking down a “villain” with what they think is a wolf quirk. At some point, Aizawa finally subdues the villain and hands him over to the police. With a job well done he gets some much needed rest

The next morning, his students are panicking because they can’t find midoriya. While looking for his missing student, he gets a call from the precinct telling him something strange happened with the villain he arrested; the wolf turned back into a human and it’s a kid. A kid who is looking for Aizawa specifically. A kid with green hair and freckles.

The frequency and commonality of "Yugi, obviously being the resident sweetheart softboy, would be great with kids" headcanons is so odd to me. We have a chapter where he stands around with a bunch of 12 year olds and his demeanor is bared-teeth politeness while mentally calling Mokuba a brat and wondering how long until he can get out of there. He's like genuinely petulantly jealous that the creepy Death-T baby gets to sit with Anzu. His relationship with at least Mokuba does vastly improve as time goes on but I honestly do not think Yugi Muto is an enthusiastic babysitter

The fact there's like 5 posts about Saladin Ahmeds Wolverine issue 1 but a boatload of posts related to that fuckass movie is CRIMINAL!

Like c'mon people, there's a big focus on Logurt, they hug and Logan patches him up and worries for him, Logan runs around naked for like half the issue, even next to Kurt. There's angst and comfort and them working together and it's so sweet.

Not to mention LOOK AT HIMMMM! He's so wide and hairy and wild!

Local big sister experiences emotions, more at 6

Been wanting to do one of these with Lauren for AGES, but I never got round to it. Then I saw the Lydia and Phinium expression sheets on @littledigits’ website and I felt inspiration like never before.

The funniest struggle I have with Lauren’s design right now is that she nose too big for she got damn face. Literally, Hilda characters noses take up a fairly small portion of their faces, and her’s took up WAY too much, leaving little room for her to make facial expressions. But I struggled to find a fix because when I made the nose smaller it just didn’t look like Lauren anymore, so I took this as an opportunity to work on that!

She still has a larger nose than most characters, starting higher up (like her grandad!) and ending lower down (but not quite as low as before). I also made her eyes a little smaller and with a shape similar to Lydia’s (though you can see in some of these I hadn’t quite landed on that yet and her eyes are a bit too big), which works both as a nod to her parentage and because I think it makes the nose look bigger. This still doesn’t leave as much room for the mouth as most other characters, but that’s okay — Lauren is a very private person who keeps her feelings close to her chest, I think it works for her to have subtler expressions, adds to how guarded she is! Oh and I also updated the shape of her hair slightly, just to make it a bit more style accurate.

These changes are pretty small on their own, but I think combined they work well to make Lauren feel a lot more…alive? Far less stiff, anyway. I think she also has a more unique facial structure now, instead of just “what if Johanna was 90% nose”. She’s still got a big old nose and I love it but now she can emote, yay!

This is really all just concept stuff, I’m hoping to get a new fullbody style-ref for Lauren out soon! Now that I’ve improved the main issues I had with her face in the last ref, now it’s onto the silhouette! I want her to read as more of a strong character (though it comes across decently in her current ref, I wanna push it more without being as exaggerated as Ahlberg, which is. A challenge for me lol), streamline her silhouette, and finally make her taller than Johanna like she’s always meant to have been <3 I made her shorter for so long because I thought it would help her read better as her daughter but you know what? That’s dumb actually, she’s tall.

ANYWAYS, thank you for listening in on the annual Lauren redesign, and to the artists behind the show for posting so much amazing inspiring show stopping concept work for free because it makes my autism worse /pos

juanki & ferru: the lore

(or, why i am so abnormal about them.)

they've known each other since they were kids in valencia - juanki played youth tennis with ferru's older brother (who was a junior champion) and later ferru spent a year at the academy

"Even when we were little we played together… we have been friends since we were small."

they're self-described best friends + were joined at the hip on the circuit

tennis club unveils a statue of juanki in his hometown? ferru is there. ferru's family throws him a surprise birthday party? juanki is there. holding clinics. going on retreats. traveling to and from tournaments together. coordinating which tournaments they enter so they can travel to and from tournaments together. ← YES, REALLY.

in ferru's own words, "it's always better with him." ok.

they didn't actually play each other that often - their h2h is 7-2 in ferru's favor. they did famously meet in back to back finals in 2010 - appropriately, juanki won one and ferru won the other. :)

in 2009 juanki was called up to the davis cup team for the first time in 4 years. first he was supposed to be a reserve, then he was supposed to play a dead rubber. then fernando verdasco melted down, the fifth rubber became very live, and he ended up single-handedly saving the day and sending them to the sfs.

so when in the final ferru came back from 1-6 2-6 down to beat radek stepanek he immediately raced over to throw himself in juanki's arms, rip alberto costa who got in the way. then of course he dedicated the win to juanki.

the davis cup is just… a whole thing with both of them. so it's appropriate that now etc.

speaking of tournaments that are a whole thing with both of them. after juanki bought the rights to the valencia open, he invited ferru to share them. true love is (checks notes) co-parenting an atp 500 tournament

so when juanki decided to retire he chose valencia as his last tournament 

he went out in the first round. ferru won the entire tournament in his honor. <- they said it, not me.

immediately after ferru's match winner he ran over to find juanki in the stands for a hug so long i had to split it into two gifs

then he dedicated the title to juanki. ("Este triunfo forma parte de ti, te lo dedico exclusivamente para ti.")

they also entered for doubles and made it all the way to the semifinals despite the fact that they had never played a doubles match together before

after their first doubles match (and surprise win) there was a big farewell ceremony during which ferru gave a speech about how juanki was destined by the stars to play tennis and visibly fought back tears as juanki stared soulfully into his eyes.

they got married three months apart, which could mean nothing

when ferru retired in 2019 juanki wrote him a lengthy open letter about his feelings

and threw him a personal tribute celebration. you know, in addition to his actual retirement ceremony.

specifically he held a day long festival of ferru at the jcf academy that included, in decreasing order of normality:

meanwhile ferru is constantly dropping by the academy for funsies. and in carlos' box. and at his practice. and that's BEFORE you get to the davis cup. 

in summary: what if the royal spanish tennis federation paid you to co-parent a grand slam winner with your boyfriend <3 that's what we call a happy ending!
