Anyone remembers when these were stickers, that turned into a Memo-Pad project that didn't come to life djdjd. Four seasons + Infinity memos is something I would still love to do one day, but the Infinity part is gotta be enough for now.
You can currently pre-order it in the shops as part of the space series!

[ TRY ]: The sender just received a new kind of tea, and prepares some for themself and the receiver because who better to share the experience with than the receiver? (Xiǎngyu Li!)
{ Fancy a Cuppa? 🍵}
When Xiǎngyu Li had invited Shuichi to try the new tea he had recently received for his shop, he naturally had to come! It was going to be closed to the public today, so he was going to be the first person aside from Li to try it. He felt honored...
As he sits down and watches the other prepare the tea, he takes in the delicious aroma filling the store, humming in delight. "It's smelling great already, Li-kun. You said that this particular tea is quite rare to even find, right? It certainly doesn't sound like a flavor I've had before... I can't wait to try it!"
Once their teas were ready, he looks in awe at how great it looks and smells... and as he brings the cup to his lips, he tells him: "Thank you very much for the tea....!" Before taking a small, careful sip.
"Ohhh....!" The flavor of the tea instantly hits his taste buds. Anything he tried from Tranquil Brews was always delicious; but this tea, was especially tasty. All the notes of certain flavors Li described this tea flavor in particular should have, he tasted it all in just that first sip... "Li-kun...this tastes amazing...! I-I love it, already! Yes, this will definitely become a beloved flavor for the customers once they can try it, too: I just know it!"

Tug, chapter 11: Now
sneaky sneaker sneak below 🛒🥭🧁
“Mm so you’re a ruin your insides, who gives a shit about your digestive tract kind of guy?”
“And you’re an I hate joy and pretend to like healthy food kind of asshole?”
He grins after wrapping his pink lips around the word asshole with vigor. It’s so bright Evan wonders if he should ask him for a referral to his dentist.
“Ah, you’ve got me pinned,” Evan says, loving the immediate banter and smirking right back at him. “Am I that easy to read?”
“Impossible actually,” he says, lips stretching out and pushing his cheeks further up his face. “But we just met so give me a few seconds to adjust and I’m sure I can prove I’m up for the challenge.”
Evan feels hyper aware of the space his tongue is taking up in his throat and the way his breathing’s only clear pattern is erratic. He’s staring at the man in front of him and really looking, and the thing that he really can’t wrap his mind around is the man is looking right back.
At him.
He hasn’t had this much direct eye contact since before Zoom became a regular part of his day to day.

In this week's column, I talk about our compulsive yet ultimately meaningless need to categorise and divide, the rewards of physical media, and the treasures to be found in charity shops.

Every time I see a post making fun of people being afraid to get into comics I think about how when I was first getting into comics I thought it would be fun to read Infinite Crisis because it was a HUGE event and it would give me an idea of what a whole slew of runs and characters were like. I made a post about some panel pretty early into the event (I think it was a build up comic that wasn't even officially part of the Road To Infinite Crisis so EARLY early) and some blog I didn't know made fun of me for not knowing the greater context of the panel I was commenting on. And while I was naively typing up a quick little 'ah sorry I'm new to comics and didn't know that. Thanks for the context!' they had gone through my blog and started doing the same for a bunch of other comics I'd read, and then mocked me for reading IC when I clearly new so little about comics.
Now, obviously, that behavior is ridiculous, and I just blocked them, but it did stick with me. It was one of my earliest interactions with comic fandom and I never forgot it. Most of the people I've intereacted with have been lovely. Even when I have gotten comic cannon wrong corrections are normally very kind. But not all of them are, and the ones who aren't are so vocal about it.
So i actually don't think it's the comics themselves that make getting into comics an unappealing prospect.
