Seems like it was out of the showrunners hands on where to end the anime because the manga ending for part 1 was much better but they clearly did the best they could

Ikemoto’s writing of shikamaru has always bothered me. The way he writes him feels very ooc often.

It is super interesting how Kawaki and Eida kinda need the same thing: a genuine connection with someone. It’s something they were both denied their whole lives and now that they have it (or feel it’s within grasp) they’re desperate not to lose it and will go to extremes to prevent its loss

Sometimes they really go out of their way to remind you these kids are in fact 13 years old

It’s definitely a little silly but the Sasuke vs dinosaur fight was genuinely really good 😭

The way Sasuke picks up a new animal companion every other arc. They can sense he’s a kind soul (deep down) 🥹
