Rose City Comic Con was last weekend; between moving and starting a new job, I wasn't able to finish my original idea for Friday's costume, so I ended up throwing together a Shlabethany cosplay (courtesy of Goodwill and the Dollar Tree). I ended up adding an open white button-up, since it was cold and I do not have the confidence to wear a bikini top in public, and I didn't have time to glue on artificial eyelashes, but this cosplay was still fun to do. I might revisit it when I have more time.

taz spoiler but I think the crew should actually annex Scott Boldflex instead of Shlebethany the next time they can recruit bc

1. Scott carries his own prism so unlike other hard light people-entities we’ve seen, he can go anywhere.

2. If he’s kept in Ustaben it’s not like he’s been freed like Emerich frames it, like it will be just like not leaving Passion’s Cove. Being part of the crew means he can explore all the layers and truly be out there meeting people.

3. I feel like having an AI hard light member of the crew would be funny, and also maybe good for the crew? And Emerich can act as the medic if he gets injured.

4. I also want to see Emerich’s relationship w hard light entities to be explored more, he has a connection to them and sees the AIs as people whereas everyone else doesn’t so it could be really cool to see played out more w a developing relationship w one construct in particular

If Scott gets slightly modified and/or disguised I think he’ll be fine.

​Most people (myself included now) are spelling it "schlebethany", try that for more content! There are some great posts about that absolute shitbird in the TAZ Steeplechase tag.
