In this scene there are two options, basically one saying yes you want the tapestry, and the other saying “I’m not sure…”, so first time I chose that one. Then Lilia, Vil, and Kalim were like “Oh what?? Maybe there’s something else you could get then. But the tapestry has so much history and would be so pretty.” Type of conversation. Like, no guys you don’t get it, I’m ✨BROKE✨. This is my natural response to everything because I have no money and I KNOW Crowley don’t give us money to travel. I sure as hell ain’t workin for Azul more than I need to 😭

Then Leona’s like “Guess that settles it.” NO IT DOESN’T! YOU BETTER BE PAYING FOR THAT MR. KINGSCHOLAR BECAUSE I AIN’T!

Then Leona pulls this out for the other option when you just say yes. …Sir just know I will be making this trip HELL for you. 💀

Why is no one realizing Leona’s inferiority complex? It’s SO apparent in this scene. He just kept going. And everyone was like “Oh how ill behaved you are” like NO GUYS GET THIS MAN A THERAPIST! Leona I have a really good one I can recommend you just please stop because you remind me of younger me bro it’s actually horrifying.

One thing that I love about me is that songs resonate to me so much.

Especially I like it when songs resonate to books I read

Army dreamers by Kate bush will always be dear to my heart because I always see the song as the book “Three comrades” by Remarque I loved it, love it and always will.

Even if the story in its self is a bit sad and depressing its portrays the life of war veterans so well

When you were robbed of your freedom as a young adult to go fight for something you don’t even understand.

To only know how to kill and destroy for half of your life

And then you have to go back to your own life like nothing happened.

Three friends who used to only kill and survive have the chance to live.

Robert (the main character) portrays such good character and gives us such good ways to relate to him. He finds love, he lives, he works, he has two best mates that love him so much and he loves them too Gotfryd and Otto my gods I can’t how the book is so so good-

Army dreamers. Mostly resonates with Gotfryds death and trust me I was shocked, sobbing on the fucking floor when I read it. “What could he do should’ve been a rockstar” resonates in a way that Gotfryd is portrayed like the poet of the trio, the dreamer (heh pun army dreamers you get it-) the optimist. He dies and I see how crushingly it alters Robert’s and Ottos brains. “What could he do should’ve been a politician but he didn’t have a proper education” reminds me of Otto he is the cool headed smart and strategic person of the group he races cars, he does so with much confidence and knows that’s he’s that good (cause he is) if it wasn’t for the war he could have gotten an education, he had so much potential to do it all. “What could he do should’ve been a father but he didn’t even make it to his twenties, what a waste” this one reminds me of Robert’s love interest Pat she was such a carefree woman so smart and sweet, but she was ill. she had so many dreams but she couldn’t achieve them. She was sick and the sickness only got worse as the book went on and finally she died. Robert was devastated two most important people in his life died Gotfryd and Pat that’s so depressing but it’s written so good that the bone crushing sorrow because enjoyable.
