Fallen for a Common Villager

Shisui Uchiha: Falling for someone who isn’t a Ninja isn’t a big deal for Shisui Uchiha. Sure, the Clan would rather he date a person who isn’t ‘weak’ or ‘fragile’, but, it’s really not up to them at the end of the day. The only thing that matters to Shisui is you. The way you watch him train for hours on end nearly every single day, the way you cook him a delicious meal when he returns home from a mission and the way you run your fingers through his hair to help him fall asleep.

He would be super protective of you, too. (I think all of the Uchiha men would be super protective of their wives tbh) Making sure that you hold his hand when you cross the road together, immediately jumps in to help you if something goes wrong in the kitchen (that Body Flicker Technique is hella useful) and when you’re reaching for your dropped cutlery on the floor, he will place his hand on the edge of the table where your head is so that you don’t hit it on the way back up.

Speaking of being protective, he will definitely keep you sheltered from his job as a Ninja as much as he can. He absolutely loves watching your eyes sparkle when he shows you a new jutsu or technique that he’s learned, but he will hardly ever talk about his missions. Someone as precious as you does NOT need to know about any blood he himself or his teammates had spilled whilst they were gone, and don’t even get him started on enemies infiltrating the Leaf Village. When he’s called into action, he’ll tell you that he needs to help protect the Village and the people in it, but that he loves you so much and needs you to stay as far away from the fighting as you can. Then, he will pick you up bridal style and teleport the two of you out of harms way. Before he leaves, he will place a tender kiss to your forehead and snake his arms around you in a quick embrace, letting you know that you are his top priority. And you always will be.

Itachi Uchiha: Itachi never intended to fall in love, period, especially not with a woman who wasn’t a Ninja. After that fateful night of the Uchiha Clan slaughter and joining the Rogue Ninja group, the Akatsuki, he had plenty of time to contemplate every single choice he had made in his life. He played them constantly, on repeat, every single night. Furthermore, he had come to the conclusion that, 1) In order for his plan to come to fruition, he needed to die at the hands of his little brother, and 2) He was irrevocably in love with you.

How could this have happened? He had worked so damn hard for the sake of the Leaf Village, never once thinking about selfish things such as love and romance. But now… It’s all he could think about. Did you know what he had done? Do you believe that he was a monster? If both answers were yes, could you ever possibly return his feelings? All of these rhetorical questions were irritating him to the brink of insanity. He knew what he had to do.

He snuck out of the Akatsuki hideout when Pein and Konan were away and made the strenuous journey to the village hidden in the leaves. There, he discovered you in your apartment, reading a light novel in your living room. He took a deep breath, hesitated, but politely knocked on your front door. You were shocked to see who your midnight visitor was, but you trusted him just enough to step outside and allow him to speak. He was one of your childhood friends, after all. Once Itachi had confessed his feelings and explained his situation to you, you were gobsmacked. Understatement of the year. After taking a few seconds to breathe and fully understand Itachi’s words, you smiled and took his hand in yours. In that moment, Itachi’s mental load subsided and he stayed with you until you fell asleep. Before he left back to the Akatsuki hideout, he found a pen and paper in your kitchen and wrote a note for you, placing it directly on top of the novel you were reading previously. ‘Sweet dreams, my dear. I will be back before you know it. - Itachi’.

Sasuke Uchiha: If there is one of the Uchiha boys who never believed in love, it’s this guy. He had one goal in life and one goal only: Become stronger so that he can kill a certain someone. He believed that nothing could detour him from his path of revenge… Until he witnessed you in an argument with one of your family members. You had stormed out of the house in a fit of rage and angrily kicked your trash can over, the contents spilling onto the freshly trimmed lawn. You groaned in frustration and tears sparkled in your eyes thanks to the full moon. He watched you for a few moments, trying to talk himself out of his out-of-the-blue curiosity towards you.

Unfortunately, it could not be done. He stepped out of the shadows and looked pitifully down at you as you sobbed into your hands. He caught your attention with a cough and told you to stop crying. That there are worse things in this world to cry about. To his surprise, your sadness became anger once more and you stood to confront him. You told him exactly where he could shove his opinion and where he could go. He merely smirked, mildly entertained by your little outburst. This angered you even more and you raised your hand to slap him, unaware of who or what he actually was. He gripped your wrist and locked eyes with you, his midnight orbs made you audibly gasp. Sasuke tilted his head slightly to the side and his infamous smirk reappeared. Maybe he should take a different approach with this pretty one, just this once? The young Uchiha sighed and dropped your arm back to your side and introduced himself. Your tears dried and the conversation continued… It felt as if you had known this young man your whole life. Although his aura was spine-chilling, there was something in his eyes that attracted him to you. Ashamedly, Sasuke could say the same thing.

Eventually, Sasuke insisted that he should go, but neither of you wanted that to happen. You asked him whether you would ever see him again, and Sasuke’s breath hitched in his throat. The realisation that he actually wanted to see you again caught him by surprise. He could only nod and look away from you, not wanting you to catch him off-guard and lose his cool (he has his reputation to uphold, duh). After that night, Sasuke made it a side-mission to visit the Leaf Village more often than he would have liked to take moonlit strolls with you through the empty streets and talk about anything and everything that came to mind. It was usually you doing all the talking and the Uchiha would listen intently and hum when appropriate. It’s safe to say that Sasuke Uchiha was becoming more open to the idea of love thanks to you.

Itachi sighs, looking at Shisui with his usual dead eyes lacking all emotions. “Not now, Shisui. I just came back from an Anbu mission.” Missions like these were the worst for Itachi. Sometimes draining him to no means.

minato is ruled out immediately, no way is a seal going to supercede the speed of a jutsu esp since he's v much dependent on the trajectory/speed of the kunai he throws. (also ref back to mariko breaking down kawarimi in ch 17 for why it's stupid that minato needs a seal for something an e-rank jutsu already does.) mariko for actual thunder god 2023

but between shisui and mariko--that's a lot more interesting. in theory, mariko bc she can more easily make the concept of spacetime (space and time are the same thing, @vermillioncrown is not allowed to call me out if i'm incorrect lol) obvious. she's basically teleporting, her ability to travel distance is all but instantaneous as soon as she's completed the jutsu. (can't be exactly instantaneous bc spacetime hasn't stopped/is still moving, but we're real close.)

but is that the same as being faster? technically. but she's not running either, so is she fast as such? i mean, really, how do you want to cut the pie?

shisui is the faster runner and better w shunshin, but mariko can traverse distance more quickly. but shisui is able to be that fast bc he has the sharingan and can process visual info at that speed, while mariko uses hidden in the mist as a sensory field to tell her where to go. (i think minato was a natural sensor type?)

tbh it's probably splitting hairs, i think it'd be v close and depend if they were bringing their a-game

Hello everyone!!

Mod here~

I am back with another Playlist for one of my beloved characters. This time we're delving into Shisui vibes! This playlist is short and sweet and I hope it transports you right to the Uchiha compounds.

This song screams Shisui to me. It's in the energy of it, the free spirit, the style. I cannot help but think of him whenever I hear it

This one's similar to the first, but with more spice and fire. I believe it captures his cheekyness and passion quite well. "They ask me why so hot? - Because I'm Uchiha"

This one reminds me of ItaShi, could very well go with and Shisui ship however. Here too, I like how the style suits him

This one's very fun. And a bit of a story on it's own. I can imagine him both being the singer or Stacy's brother.

This one's heavy with ItaShi as well and it hits right into the feels

A sweet one to finish this list off. As tribute to his caring nature and love for his friends, family, clan and village.

The team reluctantly report their discovery to the council, all the while Rin cries in heartache.

The Council decide to make this jedi business, and thus demand every Jedi to bring Obito to justice, they give a kill or capture order.

Rin is horrified by this. Kakashi and everyone try to persuade the council to try and take him alive, so he can be saved, but the council refuses.

Rin runs out of the chamber crying, quickly followed by Kushina, Sakura and Konan.

Rin hides in her own chambers and cries for the next two days.

Finally she comes out and meets with everyone again. They are all distraught and upset, but decide that they have to find Obito before any other jedi does.

Meanwhile Obito has now learned a terrifying new power, he has learned to use his spacetime manipulation in tandem with his force drain and he can now drain life from across lightyears. He now hunts for an ancient artefact that will allow him to consume the entire galaxy all at once.

A year goes by, and Minato, Rin, Kakashi, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kushina, Nagato, Yahiko, Konan, Hinata, Tenten, Itachi, Shisui along with exiled Jedi masters; Jiraiya and Tsuande, hunt for Obito, at the same time they try to figure out what happened to him and how he became like this.

During their travels they learn from a former Sith, that there are legends of a mysterious dark side order deep in the unknown regions. Known as the sorcerers of Rhand. The sith explain that unlike the sith, who seek power, the sorcerers seek death and destruction.

This gives them an idea of what happened to Obito.

They encounter him on several occasions, each time he quickly teleports away before they can get close to him. Many more jedi and Republic troops die as well as hundreds of star systems.

Eventually the group decide to set a trap for him, to lure him to them.

Using an ancient sith artefact as bait, they bring Obito to them and they all engage him in combat.

However Obito is still too powerful for them to subdue.

However they are able to damage his mask once again, so that the right side of his face is exposed.

Rin and the others beg and plead with him, to stop what he’s doing and to come home.

But Obito just says that the Obito they knew is gone, and that what they see before them is all that remains.

Minato, Kakashi and Rin sob and apologise for failing him.

Obito remains silent and stares at them. Before finally saying that he is not their failure.

That they didn’t kill Obito Uchiha… But He did.

He ignites his darksaber and slowly begins to move forward, he says he will end everything, and give the jedi the peace they desire. By bringing death to everything.

Rin feels her heartbreak into a million million pieces. She cries hard than ever, and asks what happened to him, what made him like this. What made him empty and dark.

Obito only answers with a cryptic “I did.” He continues to advance towards them in a slow pace.

Rin breaks down and begs Obito to come home with them, and she screams out loud that she loves him, she has always loved.

Obito stops dead in his tracks. He stares at Rin as her words sink in.

She loves him.

For the first time in years this breaks through the endless darkness that had enveloped Obito and his feelings are once again awoken with a fury. The war between his emotions starts up again as the darkness and emptiness slowly starts to dissipate.

And for the first time, Obito’s eyes change, not to the sith red, but back to their natural obsidian.

It is in that moment that Rin can see the turmoil and conflict inside him, buried deep under a shroud of darkness and numbness.

But before long Obito’s eyes flicker into sith red and then back into their hollow black.

He then stares at all of them one last time, before he whispers, barely audible; I’m sorry and then teleports away.

CLIFFHANGER!!!!

We are nearing the end...

It's annoying when people make fun of Kurenai for losing to Itachi in a Genjutsu battle.

Itachi's Sharingan & Mangekyo Sharingan already presented a considerable problem for almost anyone without the same eyes.

Itachi's only rival if not superior in the art of Genjutsu was Shisui The Teleporter.

Itachi is literally one of the strongest and most skilled characters in the series.

Kurenai's one of the most powerful Genjutsu specialists without a Kekkei Genkai.

Itachi, and Kisame, fought Kurenai, Asuma, Kakashi & Guy who all got their asses kicked, but it's always Kurenai who gets made fun of.

Itachi likely did his homework on all Konoha shinobi to be wary of before returning to Konoha, therefore knew the strengths & limitations of his potential opponents.

Kurenai's fight scenes are very limited so we don't really get to see her in her element showing people her true power.

Sakura was so deeply sleeping, she didn’t hear him return, nor draw the circle. It was only when he gently nudged her that she started to wake up. The siren rubbed her eyes a bit confused as to where she was, then remembered everything that happened. A smile drew across her face seeing Shisui. Her arms wrapped around him as she once again found herself hugging onto the man again, “I missed you! I’m glad you came back safe!” She stated happily.

Seeing him again brought back the dreams she was having. Dreams of spending her life with him. Not being alone anymore. Them mated and possibly having a family in the future. All things she wanted. Really, she would just be happy being allowed to stay at his side. Sakura hoped he didn’t plan to just force her away back to the ocean. She couldn’t imagine drifting around alone again. He was like her. Lonely. She could see it in his eyes. Sakura wanted to cure his loneliness along with her own.

Letting Shisui go, she slid off the bed, fixing her shirt a bit as it had risen up while she was sleeping. She looked at the teleportation hole curiously, “Where are we going, Shisui? What is that? I’ve never seen such a thing before.” Sakura looked a bit nervous, gripping onto his shirt. She seemed to be a very touchy creature but it was normal for her kind to be very touchy with one another. It was how they expressed their feelings, and intentions wordlessly. Sirens were exceptionally touchy towards people that they had a fondness to. Clinging to them for support and comfort. Along with expressing affection and fondness for said person. Sakura didn’t know if his kind worked the same way but she couldn’t help herself from doing it.

“Is it safe?” She asked curiously, though she trusted that Shisui wasn’t going to something that might endanger them both.

It was dusk when he started the engine of his car. Eyes hidden behind sunglasses as he hit the road. Like a fool, he smiled to himself, once his eyes caught his reflection in the mirror..."Shut up" he harshly scolded himself. But still, he was smiling, he dared to believe that his days as a lone wolf were over.

While hope remains he knocks on the heavy oak doors of his boss. The soft melodic voice of his boss answered with a simple "Come in". He will have to find a way to trick her since he reported that he captured a siren, fuck, this happens when your mouth is faster than your mind. Adria was a hunter herself, she had a scar on her neck and her left arm was littered with scars. The only reason she didn't bust him so far was because there was never solid proof. All tests she did on him came back human.

There was a trick to some halfbreeds, unlike other supernatural creatures he had an advantage, all tests performed on him while in human form were human. But she did suspect that something was wrong. Now she was even more suspicious when he gave her a sorry story about how the siren escaped him. Shisui however was no fool and he knew that his time here was done, it was time to leave Finland.

Sakura was still sleeping as he came back, which gave him time to draw the teleportation circle. "Sakura wakes up, it is time to go"

Walking through the streets, he could easily sense the others around him, but harder with objects. Bandages around his eyes, and a hand softly touching anything close to him. The last thing he needs is to run into another door.

“This would be easier if you let someone help you.” The fangirl that doesn’t overwhelm him stated, walking right behind him.

He isn’t going to deny the help, but if anyone notices him then…

A decent amount of chakra seemed to be heading his way, fast. A groan left his lips before he could figure a way to escape, the fangirl he can withstand grabbed his hand and tugged him another way. Stumbling at not expecting someone to do that, he followed her.

“Where are we going?” He wondered, before getting to a place that seemed mostly calm. Though that place then seemed to be swarm with another type of chakra. Unlike the chakra before this one seems to be not completely developed. “Are we surrounded by kids?” He asked, almost sweat dropped.

“We aren’t kids!” A small voice screamed.

“Though he’s kinda cute.” Another one stated.

Sniffing the air, he could smell food too. It smelt like a cafeteria. “I told you before, I worked at the normal middle school.” The fangirl stated before he felt her chakra leaving them. “Hey, girls, please keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn’t get into any trouble.” The mischievous voice she gave made his hair on the back of his neck stand up. That didn’t sound good for him.

“How do you know sensei?” The first one that snapped at him demanded to know. Slowly he tried to figure out how many there is, by the mumblings that he could hear from them, he assumes about six. Sitting down to where one lead him to, it was a bench.

He then was bombed with questions. “Are you single?”

“Are you dating our sensei?”

“What is your name?”

“You are cute, but why do you have bandages around your eyes?”

“Where did you meet our Sensei?”

And when they seemed to slow down with their questions he answered. “I’m Shisui, and not dating your sensei. I guess you can call us friends.” He answers the ones he caught clearly. “Thank you?” He looked to the one who stated he was cute. “I have lost my eyes a long time ago. The empty sockets tend to freak people out so I leave them wrapped.”

Then more questions hit him. More in particular what type of ‘woman’ he likes. This made him chuckled. Not to sound mean to them though he stated that he wasn’t looking for a relationship right at that time. They all whined but giggled when their sensei came back to them.

The smell of BBQ seemed to waft over to him, and he shifted his head to make him face the direction it was strongest at.

“Good, he’s not torn the threads. Girls, you can go now.” She spoke before sitting down next to the man. “So how badly did they grill you?” She asked, with another giggle.

He shrugged his shoulders. “They are easier to handle than the pack you saved me from.”

“Give them another year or two.” She laughed, before looking up to the man next to her. “How do you handle these fangirls?” She asked, in amazement.

He gave a crooked smile, before answering her. “I have no idea. But whatever you brought smells good.” He motioned to the table behind them.

“No, this is my lunch, go get your own.” She shoved him lightly. He pouted which made her laugh. “Stop calling me your fangirl, I have a name.” She then states.

“Fine, Y/N.” Which made her squeal and he felt chopsticks placed in his hands. Hearing the plate softly scraping against the table to be closer to him. He just smiled, with a laugh. “To answer you, I try to avoid being noticed.”

“Hard to do when you keep running into doors.” She laughed. “But you are so respectful so they don’t take a hint.”

He didn’t see the point in being mean. It is not like they were actually hurting him. Though if they were more interested in him besides his looks or surname, he’d be more interested in them. Less likely to avoid them.

He didn’t lie to the pre-teens that were 'watching’ him for Y/N either. He wasn’t looking for a relationship at this time. He was just trying to keep moving forward and not get stampeded by his own fan club.
