This fangirl truly loved Shisui! She blushes tremendously and shyly approaches him. Her onyx eyes advert from his gaze as she gently spoke.
“ S-Shisui! Erm.. I-I .. Was wondering if .. I could hug you?”
*Turns around at the sound of her voice*
Hi there! Barely heard you comin' up
*small friendly grin*
A hug? Hey sure, why not
*opens arms*

I want to kiss your brain, this is awesome
It totally feels like that (the comparison to our world). And i've noticed as well that the yin doesn't get recognised in our society as much, despite being just as integral to it as yang. Because, it's more silent, more subtle.
A lot of things are directed by, created for, and measured by yang energy. It's what gives you recognition in our world. Like you said, money, control, sports etc.
While our contribution somewhat drowns, because society has not yet (for a big part) realised that they're looking through a lense. The yang lense if you will.
Women especially often get judged by yang values and fall short (there are plenty of exceptions of course) because that's not where out power lies. We're less recognised in sport, statistically lead less companies, rule less countries, make less money. While we fail to realise how much our yin contributes to the world. By glueing it together, forming a net of support and information, by uniting us, offer empathy, raise our new generation, bring joy(!).
And that to me is (god imma get cancelled) what modern feminism often gets wrong. They see the world through the yang lense. And they believe to empower women they need to force us more into yang. By promoting promiscuity, by encouraging us to work more and not stay at home with kids. To compete with men if you will, be loud and take up space. (Which to some can be very fulfilling. I myself love working)
But they completely fail to see that we never were weak! We never lacked in comparison to men. We are very powerful yin wielders. They can't see it because it's hidden, and not as recognised by society as a strength. We're not being celebrated for the support we give others. There are no competitions for empathy or best mothers, best friends, best understanding of ourselves. No tools to measure the love we bring to this world, the happiness, the light, the will we instill in others to go on. (Or on the darker side, the sheer power of manipulation to get others to do what we want.)
I think we should recognise more the value we as women, as yin users, already bring to this world. Embrace the power that comes naturally to us (for most of us yin, but surely for many of you gals yang feels more right too) and stop shaming others for their choices.
Because we always were powerful. Let us stop trying to be men, and find back to being women. Because Yin and yang form a unity and one whole.
Thanks for listening!
Why Izanami is the most powerful Genjutsu
I know it's not canon but I really love that Izanami had been created in the anime by an Uchiha woman, Naori Uchiha.
note the symbolic gesture of reaching for your opponent to come near her. To escape Izanami you have to surrender to her and to yourself
Metaphorically, Sharingan works like a defensive answer to an emotional agression : loss, trauma ect... It reaches domination onto other from the inside, by creating or taking others into powerful illusions.
And since we've exclusively seen men using the Sharingan at there finest Sasuke, Madara, Obito, Itachi to quote the best of them. We've seen the most masculine expression of the Sharingan. It's about breaking emotionally the opponent. They transform it into something strongly offensive.
Izanagi for instance is about defying death itself, while normally everyone is passive to death you have to submit to it at some point. But by resisting it turns as a very agressive jutsu. It's defying natural cycle of time.
Sasuke's speciality is the use of Amaterasu (Enton), born from his extensive burning hate for Konoha. Notice as well Hate and Passion are close feeling. Passion in etymology comes from the latin -pati meaning suffering, being tested, enduring. This emotion acts as a destructive fire who can't be extinguish except by love (water/emotion)
Madara even if (strangely) we don't know his speciality, there is no doubt that he uses it as a deadly weapon at a terrifying scale. By the way, his own powerful hate is vanquished by a Mother, Kaguya the Mother of all Shinobi, the original water.
Itachi trapped people inside his world, but chooses to torture them. not shows them their favourite dream.
Obito has probably the less aggressive version of Sharingan, Kamui makes the owner retreat even partially in an other dimension. but still it shows to be so efficient to...wiped out his own clan! And manipulating different people from far away location.
In the anime, Izanami is shown to be a female version of Sharingan and in my opinion it's the most powerful of all Sharingans. Can you imagine for a sec? you can change someone from the inside, by their own will? It's like a baptism. You kill his own self and bring them back to life as a new person. . They do their own introspection, face their own demons and make peace with themselves. The ultimate peacemaker.
That's why I'm expected a lot from Sarada (maybe too much). Symbolically, women are the best at understanding the Inton/Yin energy in depths. They are just naturally "built" to get easily in introversion. By the fact their reproductive organs are hidden, they are submit to internal cycles, they create live inside themselves, they receive their partner inside themselve ect... I'm not saying men can't do introversion, or can't be receiver but it's just coming more evident to women. In this logic I've always find it strange that there is no high level female users of Sharingan in the manga.
As an illustration, Itachi's tsukuyomi was imperfect when he was still alive. He can only kill them mentally but can't bring them back to life. It's only Edo Itachi understood his past mistake and by using Izanami on Kabuto, he reaches perfection in his own use of Sharingan. He destroyed Kabuto physically in escaping and cancelling Edo tensei and resurrects him as a new person rather than just killing him.
But now we have Sarada. And technically the last heiress since Uchiha clan seems to work as a patriarchal clan. I think her power will be something similar to Izunami but at a larger scale. Probably Itachi's story first and then Madara's story will have a different resonance on her than her father. Maybe she would solve what is blatantly missing in Naruto's world : Inner Peace. And who knows maybe in the end of Boruto, Sarada will sacrifice both her eyes and Sharingan users will disappear forever as a price to pay for reaching true peace.
I know they will never met, but wow their vibes together is so...🔥🔥🔥 ! Imagine if he was her sensei, the glow up👀

I love this post!
I couldn't agree more. I really like the idea of a woman inventing and perfecting this jutsu because of our natural introspection. It makes me feel happy and stronger about my body too.
Spread the word! Izanami is the new girl boss power.🩷🩷🩷

*wheezing*
Sasuke is so lucky that Itachi’s blind ass couldn’t see him coz that man would be scandalised by his fashion sense. Like I’m completely convinced he’d break character just to tell him to cover up.
Sasuke: I’m here to avenge our fam—
Itachi: what the fuck are you wearing?
Sasuke: excuse me?
Itachi: you’re excused. And please cover up. Are you not cold? Stop showing your bare chest like that. Did your shirt get torn up? I told you to always have a spare.
Sasuke:…

Thinking about how I'll never get to experience what the real ancient Greece has been like. How it smelled, how it sounded, how it looked when it was alive..meet the people who were just like us with hopes and dreama and silly antics. And that makes me very sad..in a way
do me a solid and just reblog this saying what time it is where you are and what you’re thinking about in the tags.

Mod// Reply anxiety is a thing?? Omg i thought i was the only one
Do you think people used to have ADHD Text Reply Anxiety back in the day. Do you think there was some girl in the 1870s going "Oh, a letter from Esther, how delightful! I must make time to write her a reply this evening!" And then later she was like "It has been 5 months since Esther wrote me, and I am yet to reply. I fear I have tarried far too long, and if she receives a letter from me now it will seem terribly rude and she will want nothing to do with me. And yet, it is ruder still to not write her at all! I fear I am the only one to blame for my current predicament, as I am most terribly forgetful. Ah, but what a fool I am! I shall pray this evening for guidance from the Lord"
