segunda pele Caravaggio 1986;

o último experimento artístico que fiz foi essa segunda pele a qual me refiro como Caravaggio 1986;. Caravaggio foi um grande pintor italiano cuja historia é extremamente interessante e eu incentivo que, se você ainda conhece a história dele você pesquise sobre pois vale muito a pena, ele foi muito perseguido por retratar figuras sagradas e personalidades bíblicas sem medo de representar a realidade, a feiura e a cotidianidade.

esse texto é muito interessante e também trás um pouco sobre possíveis técnicas utilizadas por ele para atingir o hiper-realismo como o uso da câmara escura.

agora sobre a segunda pele, para quem não sabe uma das minhas grandes referências visuais é a marca do oliver sykes, vocalista do bring me the horizon, a dropdead, eu gosto muito das peças que eles lançam e a minha favorita é essa segunda pele do mano jc.

a partir dessa referencia e do meu repertório pessoal decidi experimentar a criação de uma segunda pele, queria uma imagem do contexto renascentista talvez bíblico e o caravaggio sempre foi meu favorito por romper com os padrões do perfeccionismo que a igreja cobrava. essa imagem que usei para fazer o full print é a capa de um filme de 1986 cujo nome é Caravaggio. na imagem Dexter Fletcher que interpreta caravaggio em sua juventude posa recriando a pintura "Rapaz com Cesto de Frutas" do pintor.

e esse foi o resultado, eu amei e já tenho em mente peças que virão por ai, foi muito legal poder testar qual seria a melhor forma de estampar essa modelagem e eu gostei bastante.

a música que vou deixar de recomendação para o post de hoje é uma música bem curtinha da banda de stoner metal Sleep.

Annie McEwan (Hair & Makeup Designer): David's so keen to be extraordinarily different in every single opportunity. David Tennant: The look we have for him in the show is not quite as he's described in the book because the tv version of Good Omens is sort of set now rather than back when the book was written. Crowley's sort of of-the-moment that he's in, unlike Aziraphale whose rather frozen in aspic and has worn the same clothes for hundreds of years. I think Crowley likes to sort of feel like he's of the moment that he's in so he has to be a little bit rock 'n' roll. I don't know how en vogue he really is.

i love when we see little bits of valjean & cosette just hanging around the house together "they were both on the steps leading to the garden", "this took place in cosette’s chamber", "she generally embroidered in wool ... and jean valjean read beside her" yeah 🥺.
