She reminded me so much of high fantasy elves that I took her middle name from Tolkien - it means nightingale. Lida means “loved by the people,” and her last name is obvious. 😄

Brain moment

Mephone made the contestants, he made silver and candle, candle has the "inner flame" which manifests with greater power and a 3rd eye, aswell as speaking without speaking in a slightly altered voice

Who else has great power, extra eyes, and speaks in a reverby way without a mouth? SHIMMER

What if mephone just subconsciously made someone who can actually use the dormant abilities he himself has? And seeing as it's said this power can be unlocked for others, as seen with silver, it could just be dormant shimmer energy within the contestants

Conclusion, candle has the most shimmer like traits unlocked when she was created but sense mephone doesn't know wtf a shimmer even is he just framed it as a mystic thing

I always talk about wanting Lilia or Malleus with wings, claws, and a tail.

Then I couldn’t help but think, what about the Knight of Dawn?

The Knight of Dawn with wings would be beautiful! 🥹💚💞

His amour already has various angelic motif, so him with beautiful wings (especially blessed by the fae) would be beautiful.

I’m imagining white with gold wings on him.

Wings that get scarred and marred in battle. Where you would then help treat him after battle. Treating the wounds and soothing the aches as you handle the wings as gently as you can.

The trust he has in you to allow you to do this when he’s this vulnerable.

And then…his wings turning black due to blot. As the way fallen angels do when their wings go from pure white to the darkest black.

Why else but for those that he loves? He would fall just to protect those he cherishes. In order to protect you.
