Our Boss let us make them a shelter (i think they are reading these posts lol), as long it's on the back area and doesn't interfers with our job. So we are planning on using cardboard as a base and put on top of it these wodden platforms one uses to transport stuff in the storages, now we are thinking if using cardboard boxes as mini-apartments are going to be a good idea or not mostly due to the snow's moisture, the tarps is going to act as a rooft so that stays in the plan, what do you reccomend to use as a wall from the cold and are dog doors good as a way for them to get in/out of the refuge? (we already have some old blankets we don't use, mostly due to all of us practically living in the back area [it's bigger than how it looks from the inside], and sharing one same blanket)

We could use some tips too in how to make windows bean proofs. we managed to get the windforce bean out of the road with help of the banhammer bean (it took a bit of babying the later; everyone's dignity was gone that night but at least it's [the windforce bean] out of the road) but it broke the front window while at it (it doesn't want us near the banhammer bean now, the poor rocket bean who witnessed all of this is now sleeping in a different area to avoid conflicts)

But back to the original question, what are good alternatives to cardboard boxes? can we build a catio... beantio (?) for them? -"tell them about how our vents now looks like a mini-prision complex"- -"shhh, we are still figuring out if how it happened in the first place, the lil guy with the white eye is still at the vet, poor thing was full of scars and hungry"- ((OOC: sorry if im being rendundant, i didn't expect to last this long lol

Awesome that you get to make a shelter!! Good alternatives for cardboard boxes are panels of wood or metal arranged in a box shape, and of course securely fastened together (really good glue, screws, ect whatever works best).

As for the windows: locks or really strong glass is the best you'll get to prevent broken windows with beans around. They're surprisingly strong, so normal glass tends to be something they break easily.

As for that tiny note of the prison vents: it could be any number of beans. The most likely to attempt to make a prison out of a location is a Banhammer, though. It's not uncommon for beans to find shelter in vents though.

i already answered an ask about andi (that was when i didnt have a name for her) so i'll just talk abt camile here. some stuff abt andi there is a little outdated but shhh it still holds up, dw.

[Camile] is an Italian-Brazilian girl born and raised in the Philippines. She was friends with Andi when she was younger because of their shared judo classes, their bond being a core memory. She had a vacation in Brazil to visit family and when she returned back to the Philippines she couldn’t find her Andi ever again. She is the class president, and is a very good one at that. Many girls in the school look up to/admire her, while the boys have a dislike toward her because of her popularity. She developed an obsession with Andi because of their past. She switched from judo to brazilian jiu jitsu after she accidentally went to some classes in Brazil. She is one of the top honor students, planning to move out of the Philippines and to Brazil for a better future. She knows the basics of Italian and Portuguese but cannot hold long conversations. She feels better using English; Tagalog she’s pretty average with it. Even though she’s butch, she wears the girls’ uniform so people in the school still ‘trust’ her. Her father is Italian while her mother is Brazilian. Both of them used to travel a lot before they decided to settle down in the Philippines. [I’m still unsure what to do with their jobs so it’s undecided right now] but because of the amount of time they spent with their jobs, Camile had to spend a lot of her time in the house alone. She used to be quite carefree as a child but after Andi moved away, she suddenly turned very strict toward others. When she met up with her friend again, her carefree nature returned, but she only showed this side of herself to Andi.

Pretty obvious, but they're set in the philippines, their school being a public school. Might set this around the 2018-2019 era because that's the education system I remember. (I might update this when I know more about the current system tho)

Extra drawings of them ^ also, Andi's hair when she was younger is less messy than that but im too lazy to fix it atm. Her parents would kill her if they saw her hair like that.

Fun facts about them/things i couldn't add because im rushing:

Andi's first name is taken from Andromeda, the constellation. Not only this, but Andi means courageous, strong and -- apparently -- masculine.

Andi's second and last names, Hirundo and Bulalakaw, mean sparrow in latin and meteor/shooting star in tagalog respectively. (h-hopefully...)

Camile's first name is taken from chamomile, the flower. Not just because it's a flower, but also because the flower references apples. The name Camile also means noble and free-spirit.

Camile's last names, Esteva and Leone, have Spanish and Italian origins. Esteva means crowned with laurels while Leone is lion.

Their birthdays, June 27 and July 26, are just the reversed versions of the other's. 6/27 (Andi) and 7/26 (Camile).

The both of them mainly take inspiration from Junna, Nana, Futaba and Kaoruko but the others were slowly picked up along the way.

Camile is half Italian because of memedub Nana, that's literally it.

Ivan and Till were purely by accident because of my older sibling pointing out how similar they are to them.

Camile actually dresses more masculine casually, but she wears the girls' uniform because of the reasons stated above.

Andi owns a red bike, as in, a bicycle. Her parents don't allow her to own a motorcycle.

Andi used to get injured alot, which caused both Camile and Andi's mother to treat her almost all the time.

They have a 6 cm difference, with Camile being taller.

Andi used to call Camile 'Cammy' when they were younger, now she just calls her Camile. (Camile is disapointed about this.)

This is all I can say, I'll make more silly drawings for them later, hold on. (This post is queued up, lol)

hm ... probably his winnie the pooh stuffie? he accidentally ordered a pack of characters instead of just winnie, so the others have their own pooh character stuffies, too (marc has eeyore, jake has tigger, & layla has piglet)! not only is his winnie stuffie very very cuddly, it also reminds him of the little family he has now 🥹

🎨. what does their ideal nursery / playroom look like?

he's gotta have some egyptian-themed trinkets and bookshelf filled with books of his interests (& some others that just seem fun)! also puzzles!! he likes working his brain & sometimes, he sets his stuffies next to him & "teaches" them how to do them!!

✨. how are they different when they regress?

he's actually more talkative when small! he's always asking questions, rambling about the things he finds interesting, mumbling under his breath while he does things, etc... for steven, regression means he doesn't have to worry about saying the wrong things or upsetting anybody; at those points, he's just a little guy (*＾＾*)//

honestly? anything cozy & dark blue works wonders for him. marc is a simplistic little guy, so he doesn't need nor desire a lot of stuff! just having his stuffies & his family is more than okay for him <33

ohhh this sweet sweet boy 🥹 – marc gets mumbly, cuddly, & a tons more open abt his feelings. his emotions come out a lot easier bc he feels safe to do so, safer than he's ever felt in ... well, a while

two items, but his hat & his building blocks!! his hat offers a place for him to hide behind when he gets overwhelmed or shy about something, while his blocks are his favorite toys to build, knock over, & rebuild! also, paired with steven's imagination, those two can do so much more than just build & knock over – they can have a whole storyline revolving around a little block bridge & a few stuffies!!

🎨. what does their ideal nursery / playroom look like?

i rllllly think jake is bigger on toys than stuffies (not to say he doesn't have a few of his own, like his tigger stuffie & mocha the cow), so his playroom would be filled with blocks, legos, cars, little action figures ... all of that stuff!! <3

✨. how are they different when they regress?

he indulges a lot more in sweet treats n stuff – jake most deff has a sweet tooth, but being khonshu's avatar kinda prevents him from allowing himself to enjoy them as much as he wants! the boys + layla like to keep baggies of candy & cookies around so jake can have something to nibble on when he's small & craving sweets *´ㅅ`)ﾞ♥
