Regressor Jinu Headcanons!

so jinu comes back i'm thinking a la soul eater weapon, ya know what i mean? except he also just goes back to the saja boys like "we're gonna try again bc rumi is ignoring me and I crave attention"

when he regresses, his age range isnt exactly consistent. he likes to say that he regresses to about 5-8, but really its such a mish-mash of traits that he simply regresses to "small"

jinu starts regressing on accident. he's feeling pretty human these days, his shame and his guilt are at the forefront of his mind, and he really needs a way to turn off his brain. so his brain picks the coping mechanism for him and it says that the stuffed animals in the store windows are really cute and fluffy and he should get one

so he does

jinu spends a frankly absurd amount of time in the store comparing different stuffed animals, their fur texture, their size, their weight, etc until he comes out of the store with a big yellow duck with a silly face

jinu definitely hides his regression for a long while, as long as he can get away with, because this is embarrassing. why is wrapping himself up so tightly in his blankets? why is this stuffed animal so nice? why are lullabies so comforting suddenly?

eventually he can't really hide it anymore when the other saja boys are teasing each other and being little turds, and romance starts singing lullabies to try to get on baby's nerves. it works, but it also makes jinu feel Small. now all the saja boys are asking questions because their leader who usually shuts them up is being very quiet...

romance then takes it upon himself to take care of jinu. he's kind of bad at it but he does keep singing lullabies! baby fully just avoids him when jinu says he feels small because he just feels awkward around him. abby tries to help, and he gives jinu piggy back rides. mystery barked at him once and now jinu just kicks at him whenever mystery is around

loooooots of snacks. nothing too spicy though because jinu cannot handle it and he Will throw a fit if he is even slightly uncomfortable. he's a big fan of pepero, though, especially the choco cookie flavor. abby made the mistake of just handing him the box, and next thing he knew the entire box was just gone and jinu had a tummy ache

eventually rumi does find out about jinu's regression, and she tries to help out since she understands what regression is like. unfortunately jinu is older than her when he regresses so her advice isn't as helpful as he might wish (but oh boy does he love teasing her that she's so tiny when he isn't. yes this gets him clocked with a sippy cup but its worth it)

he loves music toys, and he can be occupied for hours with just a plastic guitar

his absolute favorite toy, however, is his tamagotchi. rumi got it for him as a way of teaching him some responsibility and accountability because now he's taking of a lil digital creature that needs him. he takes this very seriously, and he always has his tamagotchi clipped to his jeans or something so he can take care of it no matter how old he's feeling

it does take a small army to keep him from buying like twenty more tamagotchis, however, with the reasoning from rumi that he will get very overwhelmed and then very upset when his tamagotchis start dying because he can't keep up with all of them

he is very grumpy that she's right. he's always grumpy when rumi is right

sussie likes to act like a caregiver, even though this bird is very bad at it. he preens jinu's hair, he brings jinu things, and he annoys him until jinu gets up to take care of himself

derpy is mostly there for cuddles. he's very good at that

once baby gets used to jinu being small sometimes, he tries to offer him a pacifier or bottle to use, but jinu really has no interest in them. he likes having something to chew on, but very rarely is it the actual chewables they have specifically for him to chew on. instead its usually his wrist or his stuffies

hes kind of bad about having accidents because he gets so distracted with whatever he's doing that he just forgets or doesnt even notice that he has to go, so they do get him diaps to try. jinu has threatened all the saja boys to never tell rumi or he Will send them back to gwi-ma

she knows tho because it sticks out of the back of his pants. she just chooses not to say anything, because she's the bigger (haha) person when it comes to teasing

romance is usually the one that changes him, checks him, all that stuff. abby helps out sometimes, especially if jinu wants to insist he should get to keep playing or reading or whatever he has deemed more important. but since this is typically romance's department, he also has an array of cute pajamas he is trying to convince jinu to wear. so far it isnt working but he's sure he will have jinu in a cute dragon onesie very soon

as soon as jinu learns about video games and gets his hands on a switch lite, its over. they cannot distract him, he is a gamer now, this is all that matters until he needs to feed his tamagotchi

ironically not allowed to have soda because it hurts his tummy and then he gets really whiny

🍓 ⼃ she actually needs her glasses to see, but contacts are unnecessarily difficult for her to put in & take out (what if she takes a nap & forgets they're in? suuuch a no-no . . . at least, according to rumi. . .) so she just wears her glasses instead. she wears her cheaper backup version instead just to avoid the devastation of ruining her main pair

🍓 ⼃ zoey, rumi, & bobby are her caregivers, though she gravitates naturally toward her girls! mira doesn't speak often while little, but common nicknames are zozo, ruru, & some variation of papa. zoey & rumi r also her sibbies when they regress, too

🍓 ⼃ mimi is her universal nickname, but she has plenty others to go around! rumi uses traditional ones like "honey" & "sweetheart / sweetie" but zoey gets creative : "mimibear", "pinkie pie", "strawbaby", & others of varying creativity. bobby is a big fan of the "my [nickname]" format, with "my girl" being his fave

🍓 ⼃ genuinely enjoys taking naps most of the time but especially after big big tantrums. snuggling with ruru & zozo in a dim room with a stuffie is a really good way for her to regulate her feelings & recharge after a big blow up

🍓 ⼃ loves loves loooves hello kitty and friends. her faves r melody & kuromi ; rumi has a melody plushie, she has kuromi, & zoey already has kurropi to match <3

🍓 ⼃ very mischievous bc she knows she's allowed to be. on good days, it's hoodie-stealing & drawing on the walls with washable markers, which makes rumi shake her head in playful disbelief & zoey giggle ; on bad days, it's throwing her toys every which way & screaming at the top of her lungs, to which zoey jumps in to hold her tight while rumi begins to set the bed for mira's impending regulatory nap

🍓 ⼃ very comfortable with the concept of wearing diapers around her cgs, but she's still mildly bashful during changes ; lots of hiding her face behind her stuffies & staring har2d at zoey to keep from looking rumi in the eye. she uses them mostly during ibs flare ups, but she's comforted greater by the padding so sometimes she'll wear them just cus. zoerumi are both willing to help mira with changes, but rumi naturally does the changing while zoey distracts mira with silly faces & stuffies

🍓 ⼃ bedtime starting with mira falling asleep alone never end with her waking up alone. nightmares of her family shunning her drives her to zoey and / or rumi's room[s] in the middle of the night tearfully. other times it's zoey seeking out snuggles with her baby when she feels lonely & rumi following shortly thereafter when insomnia strikes. sometimes, when bobby rolls around to check up on the girls & spots them cuddled up with a little mira, he decides that taking an impromptu hour-long nap isn't terrible

🍓 ⼃ a smidge of a clutz ; her limbs are so long she miscalculates how far she has to reach to grab her sippy and accidentally knocks it over multiple times within an hour

🍓 ⼃ BOWS BOWS BOWS BOWS BOWS !! zoerumi & bobby spoil her absolutely rotten with bows / bow clips of varying colors & decor for her hair. mimi loves mix matching them ૮(˶ᵔᵕᵔ˶)ა

🍓 ⼃ prefers long shirts / gowns to onesies. her fave is most definitely the panda one (she has a panda plushie & a paci to match `⎚⩊⎚´ -✧)

🍓 ⼃ loves the concept of deco pacis but she could never use them bc she knows she'll be devastated if she drops it & the decorations fly off, so she opts for paci charms she can take on & off / pop in & out

🍓 ⼃ randomly gets extremely clingy with rumi bc she still harbors terrible guilt over being the first to raise her weapon against her. rumi holds no animosity, of course, & she understands what mira was thinking, but she still isn't complaining if baby mira settles on her lap in the morning & doesn't leave until midnight

🍓 ⼃ limited to one spicy treat per regression time. spicy foods irritate her belly so it's kind of like damage control for the INSANE amount she consumes when big. mira knows this is a rule even her puppy dog eyes can't solve . . . but she tries anyway (¬◡¬)✧

🍓 ⼃ no exact age range ?? more of a feel of different ages, & even then that can be tricky. some days she can't be separated from her paci, but is perfectly capable of changing herself & pouring her own juice ; other days she's spilling her milk bc her fingers won't work but tuning into a rated r movie. it's nothing mira really cares about, so she doesn't stress about labelling it

What little Jinu headcannons do you have? Like about his headspace age, personality, comfort items, how he is with the rest of the Saja boys and Huntrix?

Little!Jinu

Starting a boy band with your reputation and skin on the line is very stressful, it turns out, and Jinu starts feeling himself getting... hazy, when things start to pile up. In car rides between studios or venues he would stop feeling all-there. It made his head quieter, but it was still confusing and even a little scary.

Started feeling inexplicably jealous when Baby was the one who received all the plushies and soft things from fans while he got bouquets of roses and weird written love confessions.

Baby never wanted any of those things in the first place, and eventually Jinu started volunteering to be the one to "throw them out". He would sift through the pile and pick out whatever he felt drawn to, then sneak them back to his room.

Also migraine hc. Jinu comes topside and the stress combined with Gwi-ma's voice starts giving him these splitting headaches. One of those alone is enough to make him feel fuzzy, and suddenly he finds himself curled up in his hotel bedroom in the dark with a stuffed animal pressed to his face.

"Choo-choo"

^ Caught himself real fast but he was almost, almost small in front of Rumi right from the jump.

Saja Boys catch him eventually. He forgets to hide his plushies away at some point and they have questions. None of them have ever heard of agere before (including Jinu) and Jinu doesn't have a huge reason to be embarrassed about it with them other than that stuffed animals are for kids, so he just explains how he feels weird sometimes to them and they quietly start keeping an eye out for him a little more.

Hypothetical 'Jinu-doesn't-die' thing, Jinu is absolutely the smallest he's been after the Gwi-ma battle. Being freed from his voices and all of the Big Emotions going haywire, he just kinda... slides to the floor staring off into the middle distance until Rumi comes to check on him.

Rumi has to carry him out when he won't budge, and he finally breaks down properly once they're out of sight.

Zoey is the one who calls out that it's regression and the mystery is solved.

Shyest baby. Talks very softly and politely with Rumi, and gives 1-2 word answers to Zoey, Mira, and any stranger.

Really likes soft things and sitting in silence. He loves the quiet so much now that he can experience it.

Can only fall asleep and stay asleep in near-silence. He has a hard time staying down for naps.

3-7 age range, and it shifts around a lot while he's regressed. Can start at 7, go down to three (especially if he's sleepy or around Rumi), then jump back up again if his environment changes.

Echolalia. Repeats things he hears or if something in his head sounds satisfying (Choo-choo), usually very quietly under his breath.

mira canonically has ibs sooo ... padded regressor mira anyone ♪(๑ᴖ◡ᴖ๑)♪ little mira who gets too icky to move around a lot decides that diaps during bad flare ups are the best course of action ,, baby mira trying hard to change herself when she has an oopsie but her tummy hurts too bad to do it effectively so rumi kisses her tummy n helps her change while zoey kisses away the tears on her cheeks n distracts her till she's all clean again! then they all cuddle in the middle of mira's gigantic stuffie pile & bobby runs back n forth with food & goodies & water & meds & anything else mira could possibly desire bc mira is just as much of his baby as she is rumi & zoey's baby < 3

A major power struggle in Mira's childhood home was her clothes. Her parents often dressed her in black or white formal attire and never let her try out different clothes despite her being curious about them...so now she experiments a lot with styles, both big and little.

This becomes interesting when she's small because she starts forgetting about what is weather-appropriate. And you bet she's the type of kid to fight her cgs over a jacket so they've had moments where Zoey/Rumi brought along an extra puffer jacket because little Mira decided on a sleeveless dress when it was four degrees out but they didn't want to spoil her excitement. (She does, once she leaves the warmth of the penthouse, begrudgingly wear the jacket)

Regressor Rumi Headcanons!

rumi didn't really get much of a childhood because of how celine raised her, yeah? everything in her life was about becoming a hunter, getting rid of her patterns, and being perfect. obviously, this affects rumi in a very bad way

she doesn't exactly discover what age regressing is until after she's been doing it for a while. instead, she finds that she sleeps better when she has a pacifier. she doesn't exactly know *why* it helps, but it makes her feel safe and somehow younger

mira and zoey find out, and at first rumi is humiliated because she still feels like she needs to be the leader. when zoey tells her about regression and how she thinks thats what she's doing, rumi isn't happy

she's mostly unhappy because it sounds nice, getting a redo on her childhood

mira and zoey take care of her, though, and they help rumi slowly get more comfortable with regressing

one of the first things that helps is stuffed animals. as rumi starts letting herself regress and be small, she starts accumulating a small collection of teddy bears that she keeps on her bed

rumi also finds a series of blind box plushies that she falls in love with, and she collects them. the plushies are little teddy bears with jobs like "chef!" or "teacher!" or rumi's personal favorite: "train conductor!"

she keeps the train conductor on her bag wherever she goes and accidentally pulls a lisa with labubus on her fans, so now these little job-having bears are insanely popular. and rumi is insanely grumpy that she can't get her hands on them anymore

zoey and mira spoil her like crazy. whenever rumi lets them, they dress her up in cute outfits, they play tea party with her, they build train sets with her

rumi has an utter fascination with trains, and she has several toy sets of very pretty trains. she likes watching thomas and friends, too, and sometimes mira and zoey take her down to the train station just to watch the trains go by

the girls do eventually tell bobby about rumi's regression just so he can keep any rumors down (especially after the blind box teddy bear problem) (bobby also gets rumi full cases of each new series so she can collect them all. bobby is her favorite person for about two weeks after that and its the happiest moment of his life)

(then zoey buys her a really big cookie and she becomes the favorite)

mira does her hair a lot when she's small. rumi doesn't really like having her big braid when she feels small because its heavy and reminds her of celine, so mira comes up with all sorts of cute styles. twin braids, space buns, bubble braids, sometimes she even puts ribbon in her hair and rumi gets so excited

derpy and sussie are endlessly fascinating for her whenever rumi's small. she loves playing with them, and they love playing with her. derpy is so fluffy and cuddly, but usually mira and zoey will supervise whenever rumi wants to play with him because he will sit on her and accidentally hurt her if they dont watch. meanwhile sussie thinks of himself as a third caregiver even though he is a bird with a hat that isn't even his

they get a ton of baby snacks for rumi to try when she's small, especially those puree pouches. her favorite is peach mango, and she will just lay on the sofa watching tv with a pouch. sometimes she lays upside down, though, and zoey fusses at her when she chokes or has puree come out her nose. rumi never learns her lesson

she doesn't use any sort of nickname for mira or zoey, but they dote on her with every little pet name under the sun. it starts out pretty normal with 'sweetie' or 'honey' then turns into 'little bear' or 'mango baby' and eventually the most common thing for mira and zoey to call rumi when she's small becomes 'choo choo'

also, rumi makes friendship bracelets for mira, zoey, and bobby. all three of them cry

ToddlerRe! Mira HCs 🌹

- Velcro baby. (ik she's not super touchy big, but I think her little self will be.) Is obsessed with being carried. The one situation where she isn't clingy is when she's doing something she's not supposed to, like stealing cookies before dinner or drawing on the walls. She thinks her bigs don't know (they very much do.)

- If she is regressing with another one of the Huntrix girls, she holds their hand, even when it's inconvenient (tag games are out of the question. so is hide-and-seek.)

- Shy to ask for affection, so her preferred way of asking to be picked up is by staring at her cgs and hoping they get the memo. She will make grabby hands if she's desperate, but only when she is. They learn quickly.

- Also shy to express affection. If she gives her cgs a gift or helps her cgs with something, she leaves the room and hides behind a wall to see their reaction

- Definitely makes a family portrait of Huntrix and Bobby and forgets about it, but her cgs assume it's a gift and she's just shy and now it's framed on the dinner table. (She's very happy about this she wouldn't know who to give it to otherwise.)

- Her favourite activity is when Zoey or Rumi pick a really boring movie to watch so she can space out and they spend the majority of the movie loving on her instead of actually watching anything

- You know the thing with kids where they're facinated with their blankets and drag them around on the floor or run around draped in it? Yeah she does that. Her blanket's also her lovey, so her bigs have to wash it while she's big or they'll have problems

- Has a lot of tantrums, mostly because they're cathartic for her. She screams and cries and says "no" to everything but her family still picks her up and soothes her and she is reminded that she is so loved and that means her opinions matter to them

- Her spice tolerance doesn't diminish when she is tiny. Rumi and Zoey find it hilarious that they're feeding their two-year-old spicy rameyeon that has a spice level that should be outlawed for children

- She really likes it when her cgs dye her hair. Her first time dyeing it was when she was six, and she did it alone so it was blotchy and uneven. So everytime she needs to get her roots done she waits till she's little so the others can help her

- The first to adopt familial nicknames, "sissy" and "unnie" for Zoey and Rumi and "papa" for Bobby.

- Does the “MINE!” thing toddlers do, but she does it while she talks about about her cgs/sibbies.

- Wants her cgs to return the favour of the mine thing. If they don't say "my (petname)" she will pout and sulk until they correct themself. Favourite nicknames: "my little girl" (from Bobby), "my miracle" (from Rumi) and from Zoey... actually she loves all of Zoey's nicknames because it's always "my (whatever metaphor she thinks of that suits Mira)"...she has [checks notes] three hundred and fifty seven

ok but what about age regressor mira 🙋 who wakes up scared and alone and for just a second the shadows remind her of her cold and empty room as a kid, and then she’s clutching her blanket and stumping down the hall to zoey’s room and she climbs into bed with her awkward kid arms and legs, and she tugs on zoey’s shirt sleeve and whispers, “zoey? are you there?”

and zoey wakes up, blinking the sleep from her eyes, and sees a scared little girl and doesn’t think anything of it, just pulls little mira into a big hug and whispers, “yes, im here, it’s okay! it was just a bad dream, don’t worry. how about we go get rumi?”

and the two of them cross the hall to rumi’s door, hand in hand, and zoey knocks softly. rumi is still awake, revising costume designs, but when she sees her girls, and especially mira, looking so small, she takes their hands and tucks them both into her big soft bed.

“rumi too,” says mira in a small voice, and so rumi turns off the light and climbs in as well, and mira falls asleep happy in her family’s arms, like she’s always wanted.

thinking about her strict upbringing, how every word at the dinner table must have been some kind of veiled insult. but now every word out of zoey and rumi’s mouths is kind and sweet and forgiving! even if she messes up, even if she spills, even if she gets scared and yells. there’s always warm words and soft hugs for her to fall back into.

she loves her pink hair!! it’s her favorite color, after all. sometimes she’ll stand and just look at herself in the mirror and try to put her hair up in different ways!! and if she can’t do it she can always enlist zoey, who’s happy to help.

i think she regresses from around 4 to 6! a young kid, maybe around the age she started feeling *different* from her family. when her taste for loud music and bright colors and cool metal spikes was frowned upon, now she has her girls to gush over her and plan amazing games with her!

and speaking of games, oh how mira loves games! pretend games, chase games, story games, you name it! her favorites are pretend games, and she begs rumi and zoey to play with her. they always oblige, and then sit for ten minutes while mira explains the Rules (there are always many and they are quickly discarded in the play.) and it’s in her own world she made, with her new family, that mira feels happiest.

mira & rumi are both quiet regressors but in different ways—while rumi is just bashful bc her regression is very similar to her patterns in the sense that she's still coming to terms with loving that part of herself & sharing it with her girls, mira simply doesn't feel the need to speak in order to communicate her needs to the people that matter (her sibbies & papa [bobby]). zoey, on the other hand, loooves to yapyapyap about any & everything, so she very often is mira's & rumi's voices when they need something but don't / can't say it. zoey takes her job incredibly serious
