🐦⬛Julian : Hell yeah. Really happy to have someone to be a lil funky with ; loves him very much. They both have theatrical personalities, Julian noticed that about Liam back during the Plague : the way he'd stroll around the clinic and hoping from one patient to another, waltzing over to Valdemar to ask them something... It had charmed him back then and even after. Liam is very keen on helping out Julian and spend time with him, doesn't exactly see his life without him.
🐐Lucio : Hell nah. Too prideful, too condescending... Will absolutely adore gossiping about him, talk shit behind his back, in good faith (unless Lucio does something that genuinely pisses him off, then Lucio get spooked a few times).
🐺Muriel : thinks he looks like a gentle giant (is absolutely right). He's pretty hurt at how avoidant he is. With his issues about belonging he takes the initial rejection and avoidance on Muriel’s part to heart a lot.
🐍Asra : Very mixed feelings. On one hand, he is aware that they had a story together before the Plague and everything, but... He doesn't have any feelings towards them anymore, and the way Asra still cares for him makes him uncomfortable. Doesn’t want to talk about it to others to not be labeled as selfish.
🦉Nadia : unironically calls her ma'am, miss, madam. Very impressed by her and her natural authority. Very quiet around her and almost timid. Considered becoming a courtier just so he could display he was working under her orders (totally not because he wants to be besties with the courtiers too nooooo haha).
🐱Portia : EEEEK PLANT FRIEND. Likes to spend time with her once in a while to stay in the cottage and tend to her garden, although she doesn't trust him with bringing in new flower specimens since he told her about that one variety which only grows over dead bodies...
🪱Vlastomil : Would hang around him more if he just... Didn't talk about worms so much. Sure, it’s interesting, but... Once you've gone around the whole of the subject well uh... The problem is Vlastomil won’t talk about anything else.
🐏Valerius : off-brand Lucio? No thank you. Nice hair though. Nice taste in wine. But he CANNOT handle his attitude. Has had to refrain from chaining him somewhere a few times.
🪲Vulgora : Initially scared of them at first, but over time, started quietly laughing at their antics, and would even join in with their banter, making them laugh loudly too. Decline all their offers of sparring ; once they were so insistent he had to show off one of his spells (necrotic touch - he made a couple of flowers wilt in his hands) to convince them not to. The added danger of getting potentially getting seriously hurt in a spar with Liam only fueled their desire to fight more, much to the necromancer’s despair.
🐦Volta : He finds her too clingy, but very sweet. Would hang around her more if she weren’t so touchy, but he loves talking with her, she's a great conversationalist.
🩻Valdemar : FRIEND. FRIEND. FRIIIIEEEENNNND 🗣🗣🗣💥💥💥💥‼️‼️‼️ (need I say more)

rewatching stranger things 2 for steve and kiddos plot and stumbled into one of those high intensity will scenes, and my only thought is how cool thats gonna be in @carolperkinsexgirlfriend 's steddie in the upside down au (i forget if theres an official name yet aslfhdfil)
#i never got as invested in will or el or any of the 'important' characters (except maybe hopper) as much as my silly little other characters#but koko's au? im so so hooked#and its not like i dislike will or el i love when their characters have character moments#problem is half their shit is plot moments instead#id probably watch 9 episodes of el trying to make friends at cali highschool#but i skip all the lab tank brennar backstory shit after season 1#like all that shit is canonically important to her and yet it doesnt feel important to her. shes more invested in what angelas doing in s4#than she even felt looking for her mom in s2#it all feels plot first el second#anyway long tangent to say koko's au has none of these issues and i fucking adore it#its refreshing to be genuinely interested in these plotline that are coneptually solid but i just wasnt invested in when watching the show#so ye cant wait for steve to scream bloody murder in upcoming chapters itll destroy several characters emotionally and i for one cant wait

#eeaao's 'how did you let me go so easily' moment. like i dont let myself even THINK about this too often#bc i immediately beat myself back with the 'if it's hard for you then imagine how hard it is for mum. her PARENTS cut her off'#but like. idk. my nan i couldn't give less of a shit about which is something i always find so interesting#bc even as a child with NO basis for it or any understanding of her behaviour both past and present i still wasn't Comfortable around her#like children are smart actually. i just Knew her vibes were off and i Knew my mum was weird when she was around#like i truly dont think i ever loved my nan even when she was a very frequent part of my life#but my grandad? i ADORED him. id see him multiple times a week and he's the kindest man ive ever met#and hannah what i told you about my mum saying certain people have magnetic auras THAT WAS ABOUT HIM#like i cant actually put into words what it was about him but people just wanted to know him and spend time with him#but he was weak and let my nan walk all over him and when push came to shove he chose her and now ive not spoken to him in 3 years#& i KNOW he loved me. he thought the world of me like it's a bitter unspoken thing between me & my sister that we KNOW i was his favourite#he used to buy me egg butties at agricultural shows when my mum said no and specifically ask for two eggs#he used to sit and eat his soup with me when he came over to do work at the house#he used to play with me. he used to smile all the time. i can so clearly hear the way he'd go ''iya [my name]' with his proper rural accent#or how he'd tell anyone who would listen 'she's tough as old boots that one'#and i could make him laugh like NO ONE else could and he'd light up and go 'give over' and he genuinely enjoyed my company#i KNOW HE DID. and i havent spoken to him in 3 years. he'll be dead soon#and i cant talk to my mum about it bc it's her DAD it is so much worse for her and i cant talk to my sister about it#bc she wasn't close with him like i was and she just shuts the conversation down and those are the only two people#who know my grandad and know what he meant to me so im just here like. he literally stopped speaking to me overnight#i stopped hearing from him i stopped meeting up with him im so so angry with him the love is still there i dont know where to put it now#why couldnt he stay. why did he pick her when she's a loveless void of inhumanity. why werent we enough#hella goes home#my grandparents on my dad's side are also not in the picture funnily enough but idgaf about them. she got that grandparentless swag

Pleased to say that I've only done two "love stories" of the Even if Tempest FD and it's already GREAT. Even if literally everything else lets me down (which is pretty unlikely I think) I'd be fairly satisfied with what I've already got.
#even if tempest#otome#god i love ALL FOUR LI's in this game so much. just as characters and how their relationship with anastasia differs it's GREAT#and while it didn't dig into it quite as much as i wanted i'm already THRILLED to see her trauma being addressed#it's not quite happily ever after yet - she has so much shit to process and work through#the way she flashed back to that psychotic landon CG just to LIE TO CRIUS that a STRANGER attacked her?#i HATED it but i also LOVED it#and i genuinely adore the friendship between the LI's as well as the cadets in the Wings#the banter underlied by actual obvious affection is so wonderful#honestly if this FD remains solid then taken as a whole with its predecessor it MIGHT be my favorite otome#like taken as a WHOLE i think taiali is unbeatable. that story and resolution is unmatched#but the sum of its parts - certain routes - isn't great honestly#but i adore EVERY route in this game and if zenn and lucien's afterstories nail the finish then this game just. Wins.#a REALLY interesting and engaging story as well as every route being solid

Attractive people really have no idea how much easier their lives are because of how they look. They think people are that nice and helpful to *everyone* but actually they’ve been getting special treatment the entire time.
#my coworker is very pretty but she doesn’t see it#and our other coworker is obviously into her#and so he’s been spending fuckloads of time ‘training’ her and ‘helping’ her#it’s just an excuse to spend more time with her and talk to her#she thought he had spent this much time with all the new hires#I just had to explain to her that in fact no he did not help me this much when I started#in fact he exhibited a lot of resentment at having to train me#she was totally 🤯 about the whole thing#and it’s like girl…. fat people are not having the same experiences you are having#and genuinely truly I adore her#this is not me being mad at her. she’s just living life#it’s just annoying that our coworker is blatantly treating her better because he thinks she’s pretty#and if we’re getting really honest I’m kind of sad because I liked him a bit#but I know there’s no chance he would ever be interested in me#and his interest in her just confirms that#and I just feel kind of worthless and ugly about it
