I do feel like these designs maybe portray the clearest arc out of all of them so far. I like that #some of it came from a bit of necessity which is really fun that mirrors the actual play format thats cool #(necessity being freshman year riz is pretty much a huge block of red flannel lmao. kinda stole figs canon color coding for a bit)#(and he's got the owlbear jacket from taping the games in sophomore year... so I cant give fig the big red blocking until #junior year lmao. coincidentally this forced me to be a bit more dynamic with her concept which is great)#her second pair of shoes very sonic tho. I kinda enjoy that lol #tbh I really love that canon gorgug is like in a pair of chucks 24/7 that is SO funny for a barbarian I hope to keep the energy going #with class swap fig I think a barbarian who wears like collector sneakers is awesome. the foot support is so important to their work #the general idea of a hyperfem girlypop barbarian still ticks for me tbh. idk enough abt the zeitgeist to know if thats passé now or not #but doing Fashion on ur job of bodily tearing ur opponent apart with the least flourish possible is just a hit for me #her knee brace is from like an injury back in her cheer days that she got by overexercising in hope of being good enough that #the team couldn't let her go. the team then used that same injury as a pretext to let her go #I think abt her arc tbh... fig's thing in canon junior year abt the point of her rebelling. I feel like a lot of it can also apply to rage #both knocking things over and holding onto things don't like. make anything new. destruction without at least a glimpse of a vision #of the after is ultimately a cynical defeatist point of view... strategic barbarianism for fig babeyy #yay! once again its time for me to Fucking Sleep. but hopefully I can hammer out a proper ref for riz and gorgug both in the #following week inbetween doing my job. its that time of da year lads (<- fully seasonal worker)

#ash plays bg3 #bg3 #gale #gale dekarios #personal #look. im used to the way he looks now. im cool with it. but she shouldnt be!#this was an interesting conversation tho. i know ive been leaning into him following his own ambitions but--#the dialogue options along those lines are becoming a lot more direct in a way that doesnt quite fit with how im playing #the gale that im playing isnt going around pronouncing that he's gonna take over the world (because that's not what he's actually planning)#so im not completely sure how to play this. i saved before so i can go through it a few times to work out what i want to say #(ftr i have no qualms at all about reloading in this game. i dont feel bad in the slightest. im playing this game for fun)#ultimately i dont think it matters too much what i say here unless i choose some really extreme options. which isnt my plan anyway #but it's important to me. im enjoying the roleplay aspect #it's also pretty funny that ive only had one long rest since the one where i fucked the emperor. i should be able to tell her that lmao #like hey yeah a lot's happened since we last spoke #but anyway if you say you're gonna take the crown yourself she says 'if it doesnt crush you i will' which is fun #gonna stick with the 'im not sure' option. and all my companions are saying such nice things to me about it :')#except wyll and jaheira. come on guys #and lae'zel but that's because she's been kidnapped so. rip. should probably make that a priority but i like progressing main quests LAST

#the jelly blox came as a HUGE surprise bc i didn't think my mom would get me them?? BUT SHE DID!!! AND THEY RULE!!!#i also FINALLY got a scanimation book!!!! i always looked at them in stores when i was younger #but never got one bc my family did NOT have the money for them #but they're cheap now!!! so i asked for one with my favorite animal!! and i got it!!!!#i also got my much coveted bratz baby doll bc i watched their movies alllll the time but only had a bratz baby angelz doll #and the rainbow high doll is the one with the unique body mold!!!! her hair color is sooooo pretty!!!!#AND THE ADDAMS FAMILY POLLY POCKET SET!!!!!!!!! IT'S SO DETAILED AND BEAUTIFUL AND COOL!!!!!!!#i think im gonna take it out of the packaging but idk - it's sooo pretty tho so I think I gotta!!#the chester cheetah action also looks AWESOME and he's SO COOL and im absolutely gonna have a photoshoot w/ him lol #im also excited to play with the kanoodle puzzle!! i think it'll be fun!!#and the dream sand!!!!! the texture is SO NICE it's like a mix between kinetic sand and playdough #oh!!!! and the popsocket fidget train!!!!!! it's AMAZING!!!!!!! it's all I've wanted and more!!!!!!!!!!#and as for the lego unicorn set? i have SILLY plans for that one........ 😈#mine #toddler babbles

now that i'm playing dragon age: veilguard i understand hbomberguy so much better. think i could probably do a 3.5 hours long video called "dragon age: the veilguard is FINE and here's why"

#the writing in dragon age has Always been a bit clunky it's part of the charm #but yes there are sections in DAV that made me go “oh nooo”#but no it isn't as bad as people say #the mechanics are fun idc. it's bad that my new laptop can run all of BG3 fine but becomes laggy as hell in any city location in DAV tho #companions r generally charming and they're all professionals so it makes sense they're less prone to big fights than say DAO morrigan #but yes i do miss having a bit more tension in the party sometimes #the character creator is great for dudes but yea it would probably b cool if it were possible to have curvier bodies for those who want tha #but no it isn't literally impossible to make good-looking rooks. it's quite easy actually #and like yeah you can't have wildly out there body types but it's pretty cool that you can be a geralt type a twink or chubby as a dude #(i play male characters and have only done the female cc once for a custom f!inquisitor so i have more experience w that one)#the qunari also look. fine? the antaam don't look too soft or anything so far #the majority of complaints against this game were stupid and not rooted in anything real #BUT!!! i don't love it #solas continues to be a highlight #lucanis is great so far and i love neve #neve's voice acting is amazing #she manages to make some very disappointing lines sound good #but..... i can't pretend the writing *isn't* awkward in places #d'meta's crossing stands out to me as a pretty bad case of overly direct storytelling #(spoilers) talking to the mayor was deeply disappointing! he just TOLD rook what he did and why. it felt so anticlimactic #especially bc the imagery in the village was striking and grotesque #but there didn't feel like there was any payoff #other sections have been great #but DAV just feels like it completely lacks subtlety at times #the other DA games haven't always been masters of show dont tell but this section felt like a first draft #like someone was working out the story and didn't have time to polish the script at all before the voice actors were called in #idk it really stands out to me as bad #also yeah it's noticeable that you don't really get to do evil things. at least not yet

#not art (yet!!!!)#preddy good kristen I got goin on in this piece #for some reason my brain isnt letting me do this one. been stalling on it for a good few days. but I intend to break thru it #I need to put this on paper at least once #(its space sweepers. I think it would be funny if the kids are in that universe too but theyre just like off to the side doing their own #thing pretty much unrelated to the main plot. theyre delivery people. theyre all still teens. they get up to shenanigans and then #one day they look up like huh the guy who founded eden fucking died?? when #kristen specifically I got a decent amount hashed out in my brain somehow. she's like an engineered messiah with a grafted engine #along her upper body skeleton that'd let her spontaneously rearrange objects on a molecular level #so she can theoretically knit wounds or cure diseases by thinking abt it very hard #sadly the engine of course takes enormous amount of energy to power. so most of the time in practice she just #has a half-metal skeleton that doesn't do anything. so she's buff as shit on the upper side and one of her punches can break your neck #but her mobility is limited and she sprains her ankles like every other week. her shins have broken like a few times #I genuinely love the way her shoes n braces look in this one its very fun #there are a lot of choices I made in this one that are so fun and also just like. a result of putting them in space sweepers #and thinking to myself here and there hey this would be cool if it harkens back to their canon designs #not riz tho other than being human he is fully exactly like how he looks in canon. hes just like that #hes the navigator and he charts their courses by hand with a school calculator #(also technically their legal counselor since he's sorta responsible for not putting them in traffic control's hands)#drawing this does make me realise a lot of these dynamics are really fun lol. idk if Im gonna ever do anything like proper for this but #at the very least if I draw this the idea will be out there)

i am a synthv user primarily because 1) i was always kind of a moresampler main on utau already :3c and 2) i am easily swayed by affordable pricing and extremely user friendly interfaces BUT the one problem with synthv studios focus on realism is how instead of just distorting vocals that are too high or low out of range, instead they just get breathier and REALLY quiet, you can get around it okay with parameter shenanigans but thats one think i really prefer about voisona and utau or sv editor - this is purely a preference thing, but I do love putting a synth far below its range and have it still functional (albeit robotic) LIKE go into c2. i know you sound like a broken jackhammer. go into c2.

#im an expression over realism guy. also an expression over robotic-ness guy. robotic realistic it doesnt matter to me #what i care about is how much hashtag personality i can hear HGKJDSHJDS #its so nebulous what i like about a synth LOL its star power!!!! do i hear star power or not!!!!!!#that is another reason i like sv a lot tho theres some expressive banks who's vocals were flattened in other iterations #primarily sora. altho the coco girlies are pretty expressive for what they are. utaus pretty good for personality honestly #but like man. the reason i got interested in learning how to use vocal synths myself was because rikka's ai blew my MIND #years ago... years ago when they had some marketing copy that referred to ai as automatic intonation.....#she still is just one of my favourite vocals in general she just got so much personality in there #but yeah expression is king to me. its king to me. thats also why i like utau banks that have like a thousand appends #i dont care that its like an entire gigabyte or two GIVE IT TO MEEEEE #the whispers... the vocal fries... the soft banks... the power banks....#thats also what i really have been loving about genbu despite him being a standard bank #he has those extra phoneme groups which are so cool the soft and the falsetto. and of course his bank is like a kire style bank in general #so a lot of interesting utau-esque expression can come from it. suffix broker like or voice colour esque. love it
