Its almost mothers day [in the US] and since it’s also the last week of school i really wanna do something for my Work Mom lol. I was really hoping the Shar stuff in this game would have more nuance to it with one of your companions being a Shar worshipper. But so far it feels like the same old “darkness = evil, light = good” with a nice smattering of “Satanists Sharrans are coming to kidnap your children and groom them into their evil cult!!”

I acknowledge that most of this is rooted in D&D itself and that the writers of BG3 were probably limited in what they could do with these licensed characters and world. But it still sucks and is so boring. Feels like a high fantasy version of a every old Satanic Panic horror movie out there
