DAY 7: Summer!!!

Kiran summer alt real!!! Much like the Day of Devotion alt, I was actually toying with a design for this a while back, but never got around to cleaning it up. Which means its bonus sketch time! Yippee!

So this started as me wanting to draw that summer Sharena design after seeing xander-wolk take a crack at it, which you can find here. It was meant to be more of a warm up sketch but next thing I knew all four of my guys are on screen.

Then I explored the outfit a little more. Debated giving Kiran more dangly bits. But I ultimately settled on what usually works when drawing Kiran; throwing a coat on it.

it’s funny how things have gone full circle with malenia. she was so hated when the game first came out, but then people grew to like her. then the dlc came out and now people hate her again lmao

procrastination is starting to have its consequences finally

Beat the first half (I assume it's half) of Inscryption. It took me about 7 hours, even knowing what things did and where powerups were (watched a few Markiplier videos before deciding I wanted to play myself).

Talked my roommate (@too-many-blorbos) into trying the game. She beat the first half in 2ish hours.

She did not die once on the final boss.

Also a fun fact, where it took me ~12 tries to beat Ganondorf in TotK, WITH my best gear, she ALSO beat him in one go. Without flurry rushing because she hated the timing of it.

My roommate's gaming skills are cracked.

#we were talking about it earlier #i tend to figure out mechanics fast and then go high-risk setups for everything i want #like i'll hunt lynels and get eternal squirrel exploits in order to deal massive damage #but i SUCK at shields #meanwhile she plays it safe until she figures everything out and then she's FANTASTIC at risk v reward assessment #thinking about it more this also happened in bg3!!! my strategy was 'hit things as hard as you can as fast as you can'#and she had to be like 'no. slow down. cantrip on the weak guys. whittle it down'#and THEN we killed minthara #roommate is a strategic genius at gaming #and i have never once beaten her in a pokemon battle since she picked it up in earnest #bee's rambles #real coffee hours
