Insane idea for a Magnus Archives/Slay the Princess crossover:

After the construct fails and falls apart, the Voices and Vessels get shunted into the world of the Fourteen Fears, pre-Eyepocalypse---and their inhuman nature causes them to almost immediately graft onto one of the Entities, warping them into avatars without their permission.

For argument's sake, this takes place during season 3, before the Unknowing and after Jon comes back to work---and yeah, let's say that this could also count as a fix-it fic, bringing back and saving beloved TMA characters who've died. But really, the important thing is that the Vessels start wandering into the Magnus Institute, having zero clue where else to go... and all of them vaguely recognize Jon for some reason, or at least his voice. Things only really start clicking once the Voices show up, and while they're human enough to sound vaguely different from Jon, they still call him "The Narrator" at first.

And throughout it all, Annabelle Cane can sense that there are two great forces out there, interfering with the workings of the Entities. Not only that, but when she looks through the gap in reality in Hilltop Road, she senses another version of the Archivist. One untouched by the Fears, but one who still managed to accomplish something nigh impossible in his own world.

One who may not be as gone as everyone believes.
