So we all know how protective and possessive Caleb is. I want to write some head-canons on how he perceives and responds to people showing interest in MC (you) throughout the years.

As a child, Caleb had a fierce obligation towards protecting you from bullies. He even went so far as to lock you in an attic to prevent you from getting caught up in a fight with those twerps (reference Rain's Embrace). Especially with how fool-hardy you could be, he knew to keep you out of it completely. The bullies he mentions fending off would have been more than eager to play with a cute girl such as you. Caleb didn't like how rough they could be with you, obviously lacking respect towards a young girl who wanted to "run with the boys" as you so claimed. And of course, you only wanted to because Caleb could. But Caleb could handle himself and unfortunately, he couldn't juggle fending these kids off and keeping you unscathed in the mix of things. He needed to prove to these kids that he was not to be messed with and neither were you. That day, he made it doubly clear that no kid was to mess with you. He never fully explains to you the scuffle he went through to gain this sort of respect, but he won't ever forget learning to take advantage of his Evol to use against someone for the first time... and of course, that first time was for you. Everything he did was for you, somehow.

As a high-schooler, Caleb had many admirers and thus received many gifts and notes in school. You were always a little put off by it. You always thought Caleb was cute, but you didn't realize just how cute until his admirers showered him with attention. You also joked with him about being jealous that he received so many gifts on holidays from secret (or sometimes not-so-secret) admirers while you were left with none. He'd quickly play it off with a smile, claiming you could have all of his gifts if you wanted them since he had no interest in any of his admirers. Besides, he always provided you with the most thoughtful and personable gifts, so was it really so bad? Quality vs quantity, after all. He'd be sure that you would never know about him going behind your back to scare the life out of any teenage boy who so much as looked your way. One instance would have been in PE when the boys were having their typical "locker talk." Caleb wasn't one to join in on such conversations... until you were brought up one day. Some dumb boy would talk about checking you out and Caleb would immediately chime in, "keep her out of your filthy conversation. If I hear anyone say anything demeaning about her, they're going to regret it. Got it?" The boys would be wide eyed and agree not to speak about you. Even if there were some jocks involved, they knew better than to try to one-up someone with Caleb's stature. Not only was he a well-liked and high-achieving student, he was very athletic and a fairly large guy. Caleb also intercepted any guy who tried making a move on you. At one point, you had a sweet guy start to show a liking towards you. You expressed your disappointment to Caleb when this guy suddenly avoided you after his feelings were admitted to you. Caleb would just shrug his shoulders and say, "his loss, pipsqueak." Meanwhile, he'd secretly be proud of himself for scaring the poor guy off after Caleb posed a light-hearted threat at him. "So, you like her?" The guy would confirm and Caleb would nod thoughtfully before adding, "then you need to stop. She's not for you to have." He'd smile politely but his eyes would be sharp as daggers, "Kay?" The guy would take the hint real fast and run.

As a college student, Caleb has some good friends from the Aerospace Academy. One of the boys would say something about the "pretty girl in Caleb's photos" on his moment posts. Caleb wouldn't respond much to this, though he would say something if they followed your profile. "Don't be weird," he'd warn. When meeting you for the first time, they'd be chivalrous. Afterwards, they would definitely tease Caleb for not letting them have a chance with you. He'd roll his eyes at this but would definitely need to take his frustrations out later, whether it be through working out or diving into his schoolwork to distract himself. It bothers him that others see how precious and pretty you are. On the one hand, it makes him proud to know and be so close to such a beautiful and lovely person. On the other hand, he wished he lived in a world where it was just the two of you so no one else could come in between you. His anxieties would only heighten once he thought about the potential pursuers you had at your own college. His head hurt as much as his heart just thinking about it.

As a colonel, Caleb would have strong jealousy towards the multiple men in your life. When he finds out how close you've grown with Zayne after the explosion, he'd feel regretful. He wanted to be the one to comfort you, especially as he harbored the guilt of causing you such pain from disappearing and having you believe him dead. Once he learns about your partnership with Xavier and how he's neighbors with you, he'd feel annoyed. He wouldn't like how often you'd need to work with Xavier, and now you two could even walk home together or see each other at your own apartment complex whenever? Ugh. Frustrating. Rafayel would get on his nerves as well, making his temper flare up. Why do you even need to be around this famous artist? Especially one with a bounty. He would not like the messages he'd see on your phone from Rafayel. He'd contemplate blocking his number on your phone but didn't have a good enough excuse to... so he simmered with anger silently. Sylus is by far his least favorite person you're associated with, though. Being in cahoots with the leader of Onichynus only spelt out trouble in his mind. He would chastise you on the sort of company you keep. He'd be adamant about knowing your whereabouts and to never go into the N109 Zone without him knowing of your exact location and an itinerary of what you'd be doing and who you'd be seeing. This is only because you refused to have him escort you himself since this was "Hunter business" and you could handle yourself... which he highly doubted, but he knew better than to belittle you now that you were an adult and a capable Deepspace Hunter. At the end of the day, Caleb just wants you safe and the only way he can curb his anxieties is by keeping you under his watch and care as often as possible.

Though the man is endearing, he can be downright suffocating. But why wouldn't you want to drown in all the love and care he showers you under? MC doesn't always realize just how deep his love runs for her.

How did things turn out like this?

That’s all you could think as you sat in a cafe with your co-worker Xavier and the leader of Onychinus on either side of you.

It had started a couple days ago when you mentioned to Xavier that you were chasing down a lead regarding illegal protocore testing in the N109 zone. Xavier had insisted on going with you in case there was danger. It didn’t matter how much you assured him that you had everything in hand, that your inside informant was reliable, he wanted to come with to get it. So you had scheduled a time to meet with Sylus but had hoped Xavier would accidentally sleep through it since his sleep schedule was just as abysmal as Sylus’s.

It didn’t work. So you drove into the N109 zone with Xavier. You asked Sylus to just send one of the twins since you had a co-worker with you. He didn’t listen.

“Is that your informant?” Xavier asked, gesturing to the man leaning against a motorcycle.

You sighed, “Yes. That’s him. I can just talk to him myself.”

“No. It’s fine. We’ll talk to him together.”

“Great…” you walked over. Sylus looked up as you neared, the sly smile on his face dropping slightly when he saw Xavier.

“Hey, you said you had a lead?” you said, hoping to just get in and out.

“That I do, kitten. But first shouldn’t you introduce me to your friend?” Sylus said, gesturing to Xavier.

“Kitten?” you heard Xavier mutter.

“I told you I was bringing a co-worker.” you told Sylus through clenched teeth. “This shouldn’t be a surprise, especially not to you. Y’know, since you apparently know everything.”

“I didn’t know who your co-worker was.” Sylus continued to glare at Xavier. “Not that I would since you never mention him.”

“Funny. Until yesterday I didn’t know that she had an informant in the N109 zone.” Xavier said with similar barely concealed malice. “Not that I expected her to have anything nice to say about some back alley crook that operates out of this place.”

“Back alley crook?” you could see Sylus’s eyes flash with warning as his evol threatened to come out.

“Okay!” you clapped your hands together, stepping between the two of them. “The lead? Please.”

Sylus dropped his gaze from Xavier down to you. “Of course, sweetie. Right over here.” he wrapped an arm around your shoulder and turned you toward the bike as he pulled up something on his phone. You watched the CCTV footage he had lined up, taking note of the street signs so you knew where to check out.

As you were watching the footage you hadn’t even noticed his arm sliding down from your shoulders to rest on your hip. He did stuff like that all the time so you never thought much of it until Xavier cleared his throat loudly. You turned to see what was wrong and saw he was glaring at the arm around you.

“Oh uh…” you shrugged Sylus’s arm off and went back to Xavier. “I know where we need to go now. Let’s head on over now while clues may still be fresh.”

“Right.” Xavier looped his arm through yours. “Well, thank you for the lead…I never actually got your name.”

“Skye,” Sylus lied with practiced ease. “And you are?”

“Xavier.”

“Xavier…sounds otherworldly. Almost alien. I mean, how many Xaviers does a person meet?”

“I think it’s a fairly common name. Nothing strange about it.” Xavier said.

“If you say so.” Sylus turned to you. “And are we still on for our outing to the arcade this weekend, kitten?”

You could feel Xavier’s gaze boring a hole through your head though you refused to turn and acknowledge it. “Uh, maybe. Depends on how fast we can wrap up this case. Bye and thanks again.” you tugged on Xavier’s arm and sped away.

Xavier had still been staring hard at you. “So, your informant is a rather strange man.”

“Yeah. He’s just like that but he’s harmless I swear.”

“And you make plans to hang out with him at the arcade?”

“How about that lead huh? Let’s get going and get this case wrapped up so we can go get hot pot!” you said loudly, ignoring his question in hopes of him dropping it.

Days passed since that meeting with Sylus and Xavier was not dropping it. He kept on asking how you had come to know “Skye” and why exactly you were close enough to be hanging out as friends. You kept answers short and vague so he didn’t learn that you were actually friends with the leader of Onychinus. It was not helped though when Xavier asked if you really were going to hang out with him that weekend.

You tried to assure him that you two were pals and nothing more and in your haste to try and sweep everything under the rug you had accidentally invited him to go out with you and Sylus.

You arrived at the arcade, Sylus was already waiting there and Xavier had come in with you. You had told Sylus about accidentally inviting Xavier before this happened and made him promise to be on his best behavior. Whether he actually listened or not was yet to be seen. Knowing Sylus though, probably not.

“Hey Skye,” you said with a tight smile, “Ready to win some plushies?”

“Of course, kitten.” Sylus looked past you at Xavier. “Nice to see you too. What are you planning on doing while we’re at the claw machines?”

Xavier’s eye twitched. “I was planning on also using the claw machines.”

“Ah, well, you have fun. Come along kitten. I’ve been eyeing one of the classic machines for a while now.”

“Oh, just one of the classics. Don’t feel like having a challenge?” Xavier said, keeping you by his side with his arm linked with yours.

“Well, I was scoping out the machines for plushies that she doesn’t have yet. The challenge has nothing to do with it since I have nothing to prove.” Sylus answered, eyeing the way Xavier was keeping you next to him.

“How about we just skip the claw machines for now and play something else?” you said. “They have four player way racing over there. We could all do some racing and maybe come back to claw machines later.”

“Sure. Sounds like fun.” Xavier smiled brightly and started walking away with you in tow. Sylus followed after.

You had thought that the racing would be a good idea but very soon the guys started competing even worse than they had been bickering about the claw machines. The second one race ended they were starting another, calling for another round whenever one of them came in behind the other.

Oh this was a mistake. All of this was such a mistake.

“Is he cheating? He has to be cheating somehow!” Xavier said after Sylus passed him again.

“Sweetie, tell your co-worker that instead of focusing on me he should be focusing on driving better.”

“I am just focusing on keeping up with the both of you! Don’t drag me into your petty little feud.” you snapped, cursing as you took the corner too sharply.

“We are not feuding. Feuding would imply that there was a some kind of competition.” Sylus said. “For which there isn’t because I believe that win belongs to me.”

“One more game.” Xavier demanded.

“Well you two have fun with that.” you got up. “I’m tired of sitting here, I’m going to go back to the claw machines.”

“Excellent idea, kitten. I was thinking I was done with this game too.”

“So was I.” Xavier shot from his seat. “Which machine do you want to play?”

“For the love of…” you muttered.

You went off to the claw machines, ignoring both of them as you approached a machine and put in a token. Xavier and Sylus both offered to play for you to get whatever plushie you wanted but you glared at both of them. “I’m perfectly capable of playing myself. Thanks though.” you forced a smile and went back to focusing.

They were getting on your nerves a little. If they didn’t stop fighting you were going to end up ditching the both of them. Maybe you could call Rafayel to hang out instead or go bug Zayne at work.

For a while they both seemed to reach a truce as you played the claw machines. They had each disappeared at one point and when they came back both of them had arms full of plushies from different machines they must have played at. You looked at the giant pile of plushies before you and sighed. How were you meant to get all these home?

Thankfully the arcade was willing to give you an extra large bag to put all the plushies in. It was still awkward to tote around, and you felt embarrassed dragging it into the cafe after you left the arcade.

Which is where you were now. Sitting between Sylus and Xavier who silently glared daggers at each other over your drinks. “So…anyone see any good movies recently?” you asked, trying to get some kind of conversation started so you didn’t need to sit in silence.

“I did see one last night.” Xavier said. “I fell asleep on the couch and it woke me up with some loud explosion. I woke up worried a Wanderer was attacking the building at first.”

“Haha,” you laughed, imagining a bleary-eyed Xavier snapping awake ready to fight. “Did you end up watching the movie after it woke you up?”

“Well I couldn’t fall back asleep so I watched the rest of it. It was okay.”

“Only okay?”

“It was a Hunter inspired movie and I kept getting sucked out of it by how inaccurate it was to actual Hunter protocols.” Xavier said with a shrug.

“I get the same way when this one has us watch mafia movies.” Sylus said, pointing to you.

You turned to him wide-eyed and whispered. “Why are you mentioning mafia movies?”

“Do you know a lot about organized crime, Skye?” Xavier asked. “Then again, considering how she knows you that shouldn’t be so surprising. Although, hearing that you two have watched movies together is surprising.”

“Is it? We do spend quite a bit of time together when I’m not helping her chase down leads or fight Wanderers. There is a reason we had plans to go to the arcade today, just the two of us.” Sylus said pointedly.

“Kill me now.” you muttered under your breath.

“Seems I am learning a lot today. One of which is that my partner seems to have poor taste in new friends.”

“Xavier!” you snapped. “Don’t be rude.”

“He’s been rude the entire time!” Xavier retorted, gesturing to Sylus.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about. But do not blame the fact that my kitten would rather spend the entire day with me whereas you had to impose yourself on our outing.”

“Okay that is it!” you yelled at both of them. You stood up from your seat and turned to look at both of them, hands on your hips. “You two are going to stop bickering and making snide comments to each other! You are both my friends and I like spending time with both of you. But if you continue to be assholes to each other about it then I’m not inviting either of you out with me ever again. Do I make myself clear?”

Sylus and Xavier fell silent, watching you with a mixture of shock and regret. “Yes ma’am.” Xavier said, rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. “Sorry for getting carried away.”

“Apologies sweetie. I didn’t mean to upset you.” Sylus said, offering you a smile that you shot back down with a single glare.

“Good. Now the both of you apologize to each other.”

At this both of them looked ready to argue but you only continued to glare at them. “I mean it. If you two don’t apologize to each other I’m not spending time with either of you for at least a month. Now turn to each other and apologize.”

For a minute you didn’t think they were going to do it. They were making a point of not looking at each other, frowns etched deep on both their faces. Thankfully they knew to take your threats seriously and begrudgingly turned to one another and muttered some half-assed apologies. At least it was something.

“Good.” you sat back down with a small huff. “Now, who wants to play kitty cards?”

Xavier and Sylus looked at each other. “Best two out of three, winner gets to play with her?” Xavier suggested.

“You’re on.” Sylus grinned, that competitive edge coming back.

You only sighed and sat back as they started their game. You could only wonder how long this tenuous peace between them lasted before they ended up throwing teacups at each other. In your head you made a mental note to keep your guy friends as far away from each other as possible.

Coming home was the worst part of Ellie’s day. She got into her head a lot, and fast. This epic groove of finally understanding what she had to do and actually doing it. It was liberating—fun and everything she has been working towards for her entire life. So yeah, going home to the empty halls, the cold floors, to you, alone and abandoned, was her greatest avoidant.

She was home, anyway. The dogs, alarmed at her very late arrival don’t get up from their sleepy positions on the couch. Instead they stare at the auburn haired girl as her steps unknowingly avoid the candles on the floor. If she noticed, she’d say they were judging her, like they knew what she thought, how she felt.

True and honest betrayal.

The candles on the floor were dangerous. The wax had melted onto the wood and it would be difficult to remove. There were flower petals leading to your shared bedroom and your phone was on the kitchen counter, stabbed and gutted with a kitchen knife. The same utensil you definitely used to cut all the fruit and vegetables that were now wasted and abandoned.

She couldn’t react, she forgot something but couldn’t remember what it was. The quality of your phone had shocked her, enough to plauge you as insane in the deepest crevices of her brain. She’d never say it out loud but maybe she should, because stabbing a knife through your own phone had to be a red flag.

Walking into her room she saw you. Her stomach twisted and turned at the sight of your innocence as you slept. She moved the fly aways covering your face behind your ear and bent down to kiss your forehead, your eyes, your cheeks, stained with stears all because of Ellie and her mushy gushy memory.

“I’m sorry. Baby, I’m so sorry.” You stirred as she whispered against your lips, the warmth of her breath a comfort you had forgotten about.

“Ellie.”

“I’m sorry. I got caught up—”

“You’re home.”

“I’m here. How long have you been sleeping?”

“Mm—I dunno.” You got up and sank against your bent elbows, looking for a clock, the sunlight, anything to tell you just how much time you wasted. “I—El. I murdered my phone.”

“I know, baby, I saw. You shouldn’t be doing that, you could’ve gotten hurt.”

“Yeah. Was the whole point,” you rub your eye with your wrist and yawn with a warmth you haven’t felt since Ellie had left oh-so-many hours ago. “Figured maybe once you realized you couldn’t get a hold of me you’d come lookin’. Guess I was wrong.”

“No, no, baby. I found you. I already knew where you were.” That made you smile, and she was grateful for it. “You still tired? I had a long day, you wanna join me?”

You nodded your head and let her grab your hands as she guided you, “where we goin?”

“Showering. Come, come on.”

She made sure the water was a temperature you enjoyed and you cried as you shampooed her hair. You lathered her body in eucalyptus scrub as she kissed you, sorry again.

“What threw you, then? What was it?”

“I don’t know. I can’t explain it, El. Just something strong. I felt, abandoned. I shouldn’t have done it. I’m sorry. I look psycho. . . I’m insane.”

“Don’t talk about yourself like that.”

“Ellie. It’s true, come on. You shouldn’t have had to come home to this. It’s crazy. I’m a wreck.” She shook her head and held yours in her hands.

Her sweet angel, a wreck?

“Please don’t cry. You’re perfect.”

“Ellie—” you choked, every warning sign blinking, blinding in the back of your mind.

“I love you.”

She’d kiss your lips once, twice, and forever after that. A sweet serenade to forget this ever happened, because she forgot your birthday, and the bowl of fruit would burn in the fire of your melted wax candles. Your phone, neglected and destroyed, becoming just another thing she’d forget.

Omg Mina, hi! I missed you too!!🥹🩷 I wanted to answer this sooner but I have so many things due this week that I haven't had the opportunity to get to it. I'm kind of stressed but you know what, without math this semester is a little more calm so I'm doing okay!

• Himari is the only daughter of the Min family, so they originally wanted to protect their precious treasure against the pain of heartbreak, and were in no rush to see her grow to be an adult old enough to stand at the altar with a man. When they met Mingi, they saw how the two acted around one another, always gravitating towards their counterpart, and suddenly could not wait to see them with wedding rings on their fingers. Now when they see him, the very first question is 'have you proposed yet' and said they wanted grandchildren (though it's a sensitive topic for their daughter, so that talk soon ended)

Mingi's parents fell in love with their son's girlfriend the moment they officially met her under this label and they can see how badly he wants to propose - though both have agreed that in the midst of their ever increasing popularity it isn't the right time - so they definitely bring it up quite a bit. They both have her saved in their contacts under the name 'Daughter In Law' and often call her that when the couple comes over, sort of throwing winks their way

• Why do you always know what's in my drafts...I've been continuously re-working the concert moments compilation every concert-. Since you brought him up though I can give one of them away; they occasionally insert an acting stage between the two - which directly follows/transitions from the HongYunHwa act - and during one of them his fingers found their way inside her mouth while he was holding her throat from behind. (Not to throw anyone under the bus, but some members face troubles with the amount of adrenaline that comes with concerts). Here's a few solo moments;

Now I wouldn't say that the maknae was pole dancing when performing 'Addict' during the second day in London...but there was definitely a pole there, and a blindfold, and the male dancer was Mingi...and 'Wake Up' didn't stand a chance

When performing 'Shadow' right after the theft allegations against Hybe came out, instead of falling backward onto the bed like the usual performances, she dropped the (prop) mic and stuck two middle fingers up (like brother like sister)

During 'Work', instead of doing the normal choreography she did the ass shaking version (the one Kiss of Life did) right in front of an atiny that had the banner 'Himari Marry Me' and took off her jacket to give attendees a good view of her hips yk 🤭

• Hima has been doing this since the very beginning of their career, which he used to find somewhat odd because no one was aware yet that she was still in some kind of childish mindset. When she realized he was uncomfortable with skinship she began holding on to his sleeve, until their relationship grew closer and he let her hold his hand, even voluntarily seeking it out sometimes (in great part because he realized it comforted her - though he would never admit that). It's also a way for the maknae to ground herself amongst the overwhelming background noise, helping them communicate through things like the tightness of their hold

• 'Shadow' was actually the track that was used in 'The World EP. Fin: Will'! There were many more contenders, such as the draft version of 'Blinded Red' but when the other members were consulted about it, everyone agreed that if this was the one she wanted to use they had no problem with how dark the lyrics are. For the chorus she was partnered with San, and Mingi was placed in the middle since it's his verse (why is San lowkey always at the scene of the crime with these two...)

• Hima was rooming with Matz in their first dorm, sleeping on a futon bed next to the window despite their protests for her to take one of the bunks! Here's some chaotic occurrences in the new dorm;

Hima came home from the studio (during Golden Hour Part.2 production) and found the two men holding fire extinguishers while their smoke detector beeped incessantly - they tried to make dinner since she was definitely going to be tired yet failed miserably and set the fried rice on fire...in the pan

The first time either of the boys did laundry they had to go ask their maknae if it was okay for them to touch her 'you know what', which obviously confused her, and when she finally got the word out of them she realized that grown men were asking if it was okay to touch her underwear-

The members can be very forgetful when it comes to her hearing loss and one night Yunho decided to go to the kitchen to get an energy drink (at 11PM...) while she was doing the dishes, but when he slipped past her he put a hand on her hip to make sure she didn't move and hit her head on the open cabinet door, which resulted in her getting scared (because she didn't notice him) and punching him in the family jewels out of pure instinct

Ily so much more sweet! Once this week is over I'll rest a lot and take care of myself don't worry! 🥰🩷 You take care too and get plenty of rest! Also OMG I don't think I've ever seen this one he's so cute ksehfwen 🥹 (he really does look like that pose though)

SO before i get into like when ceedee was drafted and such i wanna talk about how invisible string coded they are because i love shit like this sm

both were born in louisiana only about an hour and a half apart from each other until ceedee moved to texas as a child after hurricane katrina hit (he’s said he’s moved around a couple of times as kid in interviews before)

dak went to mississippi st. in college and ceedee’s dream school was LSU (rival colleges… 🚬) but he had committed to oklahoma (also they wouldn’t have met or anything in college anyway because dak was drafted in 2016 and ceedee started playing in college in 2017 but i digress it makes my brain light up anyway lol)

when dak was drafted he was projected to go like late second round/early third round of the draft but 🗿 he got into some trouble beforehand (driving under the influence) and ended up falling to the 4th round (after the front office kept trying to trade up to get a different backup QB)

dak also had to compete for his spot as a backup and was named starter after romo was injured in 2016. this was dak’s rookie year and he led them to the playoffs - almost to the nfc championship game. after this he basically took the job from romo

okay so FAST FORWARD to the 2020 draft. ceedee was projected to go top 10 and he fell all the way to SEVENTEEN so the cowboys were able to grab him then (drafted bpa instead of for need)

idk all of this is just very <333 to me that so many things managed to fall into place just right and they managed to find each other on the same team out of THIRTY TWO teams it makes me weeeep 🤧 also just something else that i think is very cute because i truly am a little insane: ceedee was born april 8th and dak’s jersey number is 4 and ceedee’s is 88 so 4/8 ALL THE DOTS CONNECT SOMEHOW…

so we’ll go through a teensy bit about dak i suppose and then ceedee this won’t be too long

dak: baby of his family and has two brothers. his parents divorced when he was little and he was very close with his mom before she passed away in 2013 (he’s started a foundation since then for cancer research and suicide prevention/mental health). went to mississippi st, cowboys starter his rookie year, etc etc. he also lost his brother to suicide in 2020 and he’s said before he feels a responsibility to live on and carry his and his mom’s legacy throughout his life. he’s like suuuuuper underrated in the league i feel and a lot of cowboys fans are complete assholes to him all the time it makes me so mad cos they could literally never ever make me hate him - he makes me so weepy 😭😭😭 umm but yeah he’s donated a ton to children cancer funds too and donated during BLM protests and things like that - he won the walter payton man of the year award. he just had a baby and got engaged in october (remember for the yaoi LOL) ok im gonna stop here cause i don’t wanna rant too much lol

ceedee: MY BELOVED… my favorite my absolute favorite. he has two brothers and two little sisters. idk if he’s the eldest or not tbh i see different things all the time that he’s the second eldest whatever not that important i guess. so blah blah college blah blah - he wears 88 on the team because that’s considered really special to the cowboys franchise and is reserved for elite receivers. idk he’s the most beautiful man ever and he does a lot of donating too - i know he participates in a lot of football youth camps a lot to help kids out and he likes to provide meals to families around thanksgiving and christmas time. a loooot of cowboys fans have criticized him for not being that much of a leader and pouting a lot on the sidelines (which he does sometimes… my mimir) but i think this last season he’s reaaaaallyyy taken a step into more of a leader type position especially with dak being out and he’s proven himself more than enough. he LOOOVES spending money on clothes it’s so cute… gonna be a sad day when the class war happens and i’m faced with cedarian lamb. ummm i also legit think he’s gay and closet is made of glass but whatever

personal stuff happened with dak before the season started - this is when he lost his brother to suicide and he’s been really outspoken about mental health since then. on top of that he broke his ankle during week 5 of the season (and tried to snap it back into place by himself on the field). dak was performing on like a sort of insane level before the injury happened so </3 what could’ve been and all that… the what-ifs of it all… so that year they weren’t able to play together as much

Oct 11, 2020: “CeeDee Lamb said he texted Dak as soon as he got out of the shower. Thanked him for everything he’s done for him and they were gonna hold it down for him until they see him on the field again.” (after the game dak got hurt in)

POST 2020 SEASON:

"He came back from his second surgery about two months ago so he’s walking around, rehabbing, doing everything right," Lamb said Wednesday. "It’s great to see, especially when you seen him go down. You saw the look in his eyes and you saw how sad he was and how much this game meant to him. Just to see him smiling again, happy again, being with his guys is a great deal."

2021 SEASON

ceedee’s second year, he was in a WR room with amari cooper (currently on the bills) and michael gallup (now retired) blah blah season happened whateverrrr but AFTER this season the front office (i’ll always be mad about this lol) traded amari to the browns for a 5th round pick 💀 hence THIS!!! which i consider the #Real beginning of ceedak:

1) I honestly haven’t thought that much about it cuz he’s the littlest guy but i imagine at some point he might become nightwing tho i won’t

2) he has generally the same view as everyone else in Gotham, that he’s some rich dumbass who has more money than sense and is always in the news doing dumb stuff or dating some model, donating to charities or whatever. But then there’s the whole situation with Knuckles the billionaire adopting his little brother after he left, which gives him a few mixed personal feelings

Tails seemed happy enough, he lives in a big mansion instead of a crappy apartment, more money than he’d ever seen, goes to a good school, has more opportunities, doesn’t have to struggle to survive

he even introduced himself to the guy to check out his vibe and he seems to be pretty cool

but there is a tight painful feeling in chest whenever he sees the two in gossip sections of magazines and newspapers looking happy but he pushes it away

Tails finally had a good life and he’s grateful to that Knuckles guy for giving it to him

3) Rouge is naturally just pretty flirty, just doing it for fun is just her thing, so they wouldn’t raise too many eyebrows when she does the same to the big bat himself, sure sometimes even sonic throws in the odd flirt or two as a joke to get the guy to fluster and mess with his focus

they make fun of her and gag whenever she does it

but sometimes the way she kinda talks about with a touch of fond intrigue… it sets them on edge a bit, they know she’s joking when she says he’s a ‘catch’ but… nah she’s joking (she wasn’t entirely joking)

they’ve decided trust her to a certain extent, in their line of work extending that trust is very dangerous and they don’t take it lightly. its already being stretched thin with how many times they’ve left each other dry, but it is still there

so if she and batman do have something going on things would probably get dicey real fast and Rouge knows this

'Cause you're making such great points, here, why doesn't Immortal talk about betrayal to the TT/New!GoG? Why isn't anybody horrified after being lied to for years? Ain't anybody concerned if Robot would just wear your face what ELSE would he do on a whim? Can they trust him anymore? WHY ARE WE JUST MOVING ON, HELLO? Where's the team break up? ALSO, again it goes so fast I didn't even process the weirdness of Samson, 'cause why wasn't he at the funeral? I'm going to go insane over the fact we never got any Samson and Nolan? WHY? They keep just saying things then moving on, like it's just the new status quo. Him clawing his way back for insurance, steady pay, etc, could lead to exploring how TT work for the same thing! How it works. (Like will Mark ever get paid for this stuff?) Also, why wouldn't Mark try clinging to any mentor he could get now he's Dad's the Worst Remodel? Why not grasp onto any help? And the potential for Samson, like the guilty relief? How it could've been you? And then, what to do when powers are back, do you fear your vulnerability more or less? Powerlessness saved you once, no? Even if it's irrational association, since he's got more power now, when they're called to a meeting does he feel wary, knowing that's how it happened? Immortal and Cecil are only ones really paranoid or wary, but give me more. Why isn't there a reaction or exploration with Samson as he was uniquely pushed back and only now, given a chance again, which came after his former coworkers were SLAUGHTERED.

ALSO SPEAK ON IT? I'm far too tired to speak clearly, here, but the lack of any insight on how they function on a systemic, interconnected global level, the utter absence of any politics, even to answer who pays for construction post-battle, baffles me. Yes, yes, Invincible is taking the shape and tropes within heroic genre, but relying on the assumptions of the audience only works so far. It leaves questions on how this universe, in particular, actually operates.

Even if it's one off lines about cost of aid, construction costs, diplomacy, heck, do heroes have to be extra careful in specific countries? If there is a global registry, what qualifies you, and can countries cherry pick whose allowed within for emergencies? What's the law like for this? Is there a United Nations for Heroism? What are the benefits? Pay? Can, and have, heroes have unionized? Do you have to report / file a quota to access said benefits? Patrol hours? Can you be cut from the registry and heroic acts made illegal by financial penalty, or does it mean any costs are billed to you individually? Do they have to give their real identities for said registry, and what happens when there's a data breech? Like, are the GoG called that because they have access to ALL nations to help? What does it mean in the context of vigilantes? Do heroes have ranks? How much information is put on file, accessible?

AND YES. Nolan's "protectiveness" becoming isolation, restrictive. GIMME CONFLICT, PLEASE. YEAH, I'd imagine having a partner is already risking it for heroes apparently, so having a vulnerable child is 100x times. I'd love if hero-parents are an actual rarity, or there being an almost unspoken understanding to retire/break for years to actually be in the child's life, earning Nolan odd looks for not doing so. Like "Oh, you're not gonna...? Hm, I mean, it's your kid!" People are already opinionated on parenting, I'm sure hero parents make it 10x worse. ALSO YES. GDA? Do they try discourage parental leave on some "too many heroes cannot retire at once" type beat? Do they offer "babysitting" services that also act as monitoring?

AND YEAH? I think about that, was Mark an accident? Was raising him too much, considering Nolan's Functionally Over Seas, and Debbie's got her own hardworking career going? I can see there being a frustration with raising Mark alone, and omg, please, I love the idea of him being like GoG's Shared Nephew, or just straight up parented by a whole group of Heroes. Does that mean he, as a baby, was lowkey in a car seat while Darkwing or War Woman flew a plane for a mission? Did they just come over and babysit normally? Did he wander around GDA, does he know the in's and out's of the GoG's base intimately then, to the point it's mundane? As he got older did he ever just stay there after school if Debbie was busy + too young to be home alone and someone was always there?
