I’ve seen some people talk about how “Willow made Hunter feel worse” after she showed him the picture of him and Flapjack, and that she should apologize to him and that’s just… not really how I read that scene?

Hunter feels AWFUL. His best friend just gave up his life for Hunters and he just… misses Flapjack. It hasn’t fully sunken in yet that Flapjack is gone from him. Not only that, but Hunter only has his memories to remember him by. He wasn’t even awake when Flapjack gave his life! It’s really tough handling this all, and of course he uses his anger towards Belos to cope.

I don’t think Willow giving him the picture made it worse, but I also don’t think it made it better. I think Hunter genuinely meant what he said- he wasn’t sure if he was okay or not. A picture of the two of them is wonderful to have! It’s something physical! It’s nice to see his best friend again! But god, it still hurts. He JUST lost him.

Willow saw this conflict and apologized immediately. She says that she didn’t MEAN to make matters worse- and of course she genuinely means it. She removes herself from the situation, not because she wants others to feel pity or whatever people are saying, but because she doesn’t want to do EVEN MORE damage than she believes she has. What else could she have done in that situation with her state of mind? Willow had already been slowly breaking down, and now she believes that she just totally screwed up with Hunter. Removing yourself from a situation when your mind is in such a mess of a state is OKAY TO DO.

I don’t think Willow needs to apologize because she already did. She did the best she could in that situation given the circumstances. I DONT think she was making the situation about herself (unintentionally or not). I think all of these statements are a REACH and that Willow handled the situation just fine, especially with her own feelings taking place.

and anakin just collapses back into his chair and sort of shrugs wordlessly because she didn’t MEAN to but she did find the crux of the issue itself which is that she may have been happy and fulfilled by their relationship (or forcing herself to think she was) until the moment she found out anakin was having an affair, but anakin stopped being really actually happy before Padmé dragged him to the party where he met obi-wan.

that’s the way his love works—he wouldn’t have actually looked at obi-wan twice if he’d been fully committed to his relationship with his wife. He thought he was, but he was chafing at the edges of being her husband. Not that it was her fault, but that they turned out to be a bad match. Or not that they turned out to be a bad match, but that the timing was wrong.

mochi thinks its kinda hot but kinda annoying how much lime eats. on one held he works out regularly and as a tall young man has one of those ridiculously high metabolisms where he can eat like 12 donuts and 3 blizzards and still be in shape, so she gets it. also he looks really good so she cant complain. but on the other end there are (a bit too frequently occurring) mornings where she wants like. spam and eggs or something. and theres like 1 egg and zero spam since lime needs like 6 eggs for breakfast and they havent gone grocery shopping yet

I had a friend in high school who was often wrong and overconfident about it, and one time she insisted that the Civil War (American) took place from 1851-1855, not 1861-1865. None of us had smartphones yet and we were in the weird tiny outbuilding where we ate lunch (so no computers or internet) and none of us were currently taking American history, but I knew she was wrong, both from generally knowing about history and because I’d just caught Gone with the Wind on TV while out with a cold. And I was like, Liz, it was the 1860s. I just saw Gone with the Wind. And, without missing a beat, she told me that they’d changed the dates especially for the movie.

Which, you know. Gone with the Wind is absolutely full of revisionist history. I’m just not sure what purpose moving the war ten years down the line would serve.

oh violet 100% on average i wanna say i go about 1/4 against her. shes incredibly good at fighting games and has a eye for it i havent been able to train myself into yet. also helps she always plays a winning matchup with our mains HAHA! mad fun though. shes incredibly talented and so so fun to play
