Ok I need to know if anyone else thought this or if I completely misinterpreted these lines. So during Little Brother when Pony does his monologue, he says that “you could still smell the cigarettes he always smoked, Winstons”. And I first heard this and I kinda did a double take. Because we all know Dallas doesn’t really have a place he considers home, he constantly moves and I guess we kinda have to assume he doesn’t really have a family. But my questioning comes in is that, do we know is his legal name is actually Dallas Winston? Or does he call himself Dallas Winston (specifically Winston as his last name) because he likes that cigarette brand? Like has he attached the emotional value to that as a constant in his life, and therefore has chosen to call himself Dallas Winston?

Idk if this is a hot take or not, but I don’t think Jon, Martin, and Jonah are actually trapped in the computer in tmapg. I think it’s more likely that they left some kind of imprint/impression on the tmapg universe that made Norris, Chester, and Augustus.

There are many, if not infinite, universes. Since Jon’s voice is what pulled the fears through, it makes sense for part of him to be wherever the fears are. (This could either mean he is split into millions of pieces, or that an impression of him is left. I think it’s an impression caused by that means he could exist somewhere).

Of course, they could have just landed in the tmagp universe and that is why we are following that universe. I would love to “see” Jon and Martin again. But, I don’t think that’s where the story is headed.

Parts of Epic just hit different when you remember that Eurylochus was married to Odysseus’ sister, Ctimene. Like??? I know Odysseus calls his crew his brothers, but Eurylochus was basically an actual brother. It makes his betrayal in Mutiny so much more heartbreaking. I don’t even know how to explain how this tiny piece of information just makes Epic so much sadder.

Is it safe to say Vertin is no stranger to alcohol? As evidenced by:

1. Vertin was served wine by Forget-Me-Not during dinner.

2. Lilya claims Vertin prefers champagne over vodka in that one letter we received and even brought her golden champagne so they could celebrate together.

3. Picrasma candy has alcohol in it, although so do some chocolates and it's such a tiny amount that it might not count.

4. Vertin enjoys a beer in artificial somnambulism. It's a dreamscape, but her dreams are based on reality to some extent.

Or should I wait until we have more evidence before considering this a fact?
