CHLOE CHARMING HEADCANONS!

- She is autistic! She often uses noise canceling headphones or earplugs during sword practice, the sounds of the swords hitting each other makes her teeth grind.

- Lesbian! But not very out and open about it, Chad is the only one that knows apart from Red but she is certainly trying to come out! Mostly on her own terms.

- Has ADHD (Audhd girlie!) and often forgets to eat meals when really hyper-fixated on something, like her history books or her swords training, a lot of the times Red does have to remind her or bring her small snacks in between her breaks

- After coming back to the present time with Red, her relationship with her mother was very protective(?) in a way. She was a little worried about being away from her mother and would take many opportunities to be back with Cinderella. It took months for her to get a hold on the idea that her mother was safe again.

- Chloe is a chronic clothing stealer, her closet is full of Red’s clothes even though they stand out so bright in her closet and color scheme. It makes her laugh to have people shoot her some odd looks as they see bright red with golds, whites and baby blues. It serves as a reminder in Chloe’s mind that Red loves her, enough to share her clothes with her.

- Uses ASL! Since Chloe has some bad meltdowns sometimes when too overwhelmed or simply overtired, she uses sign language and has been since she was a kid and King Charming taught it to her! The entire Charming family uses it to communicate with Chloe when she goes nonverbal and Red is actively on her way to becoming fluent in it to understand and aid Chloe better.

- Her and Chad used to be double trouble when they were kids, they would run around the castle in races and narrowly avoid knocking over a servant or two in the process. They would make anything a competition; Who could get to dinner faster, who could read a chapter of Mom’s favorite book faster, who loves Mom and Dad more, so on and so on!

- Chloe’s favorite place to go on a date is to the museum!! She likes to look at all the museum of cultural history has and she loves to go on long rants about some of the exhibits there. Her second favorite place is a botanical garden because she likes how peaceful there are, and Red loves taking her any where when they’re allowed to.

- Chloe still wonders about Wonderland, even more so now that they’ve come and gone in the past. She doesn’t want to get Red upset with her by asking after them but she still thinks about it from time to time. (“Did flamingo feathers always taste good?”)

- She is actually one of the biggest sort of advocate for anything if she or someone else needs it, even if it means being a bit mean to get there. Chloe doesn’t find it fair that she has to ask for certain things and have people get a bit snotty in response, although it’s Auradon, what should she expect with women like Audrey’s grandmother?

- Chloe age regresses! A coping mechanism sometimes for her mind when she’s too stressed or too anxious, she has a mental age range of around 7-9 and tends to only be around her brother or Red when she does regress, she’s only comfortable around them.

- Chloe was actually the one to first ask Red out instead of Red asking her out! She did it at the enchanted lake, it was a planned hangout where they were supposed to swim, but her nerves made her too nervous to even get near the water. She asked Red to be her girlfriend while they were sitting at the edge of the water, blurting it out so suddenly that it made them both stare at each other with wide eyes.

(She did go for a swim after, practically dunking herself under so she didn’t have to hear Red reject her at first, but she never did. So she had a girlfriend AND soaking wet clothes.)

javi is a baby regressor !! anywhere between tiny little newborn && two ( at the oldest ) . sooo itty bitty !!

shauna && nat are his mama && dada — they don't always take care of him together but it's a way that they bond .

javi is fully nonverbal when she's small && is a big crier . she mostly vent regresses && his regression is involuntary . it can be suuper scary to be so little especially given the circumstances .

javi is a quiet regressor && even cries quietly being used to keeping his regression from travis . she struggles to communicate her needs being an anxious && shy regressor on top of being nonverbal . nat or shauna will just catch him crying && immediately drop what they're doing to figure out what's wrong .

i think even while big a lot of the time javi is mute so he knows sign language . lottie's not an official one of his caregivers but with her also being mute sometimes they converse a lot in asl .

javi love love loves all soft things !! he is always carrying around a stuffie && gets super stimmy when he gets to wear one of shauna's flannels .

she quietly follows around nat like a little ducky . some of the others playfully tease this but it makes nat so happy . mari will quack at him sometimes in a teasing way ( more in a silly way than a negative one ) .

javi's soo clingy with shauna when he's sleepy . the only time he's ever really fussy is when he's sleepy && mama is busy . she'll cling to her && sob maybe even stamping her foot . nat comes rushing over : "it's okay , ducky . mama'll be done soon . the sooner she leaves the sooner she'll come back !!" javi finally lets go of shauna but he won't stop crying until he's got ahold of one of shauna's flannels .

nat calls him ducky or buddy && shauna calls him baby or bug .

shauna always tries to save some extra food for javi when she's portioning because she knows he struggles with eating . never enough to be noticeable but maybe an extra bite or twos worth .

javi is too little to really play but she really loves stories . leaning against nat slowly drifting off to sleep while he tells a crazy story or cuddled up in shauna's lap while she reads to him from a book . they don't really have any proper baby books so any kind of plot always goes over javi's head but he likes the coziness && the sound of shauna's voice . she always falls asleep pretty quickly with shauna while nat's stories are more interesting for someone his age so she's more actively engaged in them .

Mute Nico (and selectively mute Jason)

He’s always gotten into periods of silence. His family called them ‘hushes’ (his grandfather used to get them. Really it’s selective mutism as a result of autism and ptsd)

Growing up it just. Wasn’t a Big Thing. He learned LIS and ASL so he could communicate w/ Hades when he had a Hush

Teachers didn’t like him anyways so it didn’t change much when he was at school

Anyway flash forward to modern day

After Bianca died, he fell into a Hush for a few months. Minos berated him for it cause he was an abusive shit

He started talking again when he managed to get away from Minos for a few days (Hades and him and Persephone took a trip to reintroduce Nico to all his siblings)

They made him feel welcomed and warm and he slowly started talking a bit again

By the time BotL rolls around, he’s completely out of his Hush

And then Minos Leaves and he finds out that Hades also gets Hushes and he is like… ‘woah’

Cue more family bonding :D

This continues, blah blah blah great NOW BETWEEN THE SERIES

Hazels super great about it, and he starts teaching her ASL to talk to him when he’s Hushed

And Reyna learns about this from Hazel pretty quickly cause they bond FAST

As praetor, she knows a ton of ppl who go selectively mute (from ptsd, autism, ppl who are fully mute from trauma and also just being born mute) and she’s like ‘… have u met my friend, Jason?’

This is how Nico learns that Jason is also selectively mute cause *trauma* and *autism* being raised by wolves makes u communicate more nonverbally than verbally

Nico and Jason bond over that and Reyna is like ‘I love my strange boys. Cooky boys. Funny little Kreatures’ cause they’re both little gremlins who try to pretend they aren’t

And Jason brings him to a dinner one day w/ a bunch of mute, deaf and hard of hearing legionnaires and vets in new rome

Nico starts healing from Minos w/ his newfound support group

Then Jason disappears and Percy disappears and the Doors of Death disappear and Thanatos disappears and Nico does a freestyle dive into Tartarus

Not going into detail rn but from being tortured to the jar to all the screaming, his vocal chords are wrecked and Speaking, A Normal Struggle, becomes impossible

So he’s rescued and joins the Argo Crew, and can. Not. Talk.

Hazel and Jason interpret for him (but Jace doesn’t remember Neeks cause Fuck Juno)

Hedge helps Nico too (he did a double major in sports medicine and psychology specializing in childhood trauma, he’s a smart little demon goat)

Anyways coach officially diagnoses Nico with psychogenic mutism/ trauma induced mutism

Jason and Nico bond more before Split cause of sign and mutism

After Split, Jason goes mute. He can’t talk again for a few weeks. Piper and Leo don’t say, but they kinda blame Nico. Hazel glowers at them

Post war, he and Will sign w/ each other about Nicos health (deaf Will rights)

They become really good friends then

More likely than you think 😌 How much do you want to bet though that firehouse puppy has a few lockers specifically DEDICATED to the amount clothes that were given to them (including the ripped ones)? Now the question is if Jean would pull you into his lap WHILE wearing one of his handpicked outfits when someone visits the firehouse just to show how powerful he is. Oh absolutely to the insane amount of aftercare needed after Jean gets his hands on you. Ian will believe literally anyone over himself, poor lad has NO self esteem 😔 They definitely have at least one locker full of clothes for their dog! Jean will do absolutely anything for a powerplay, so yeah he'd definitely dress them up and pull them into his lap and casually grope them while visitors are around. Anything to show his claim over them. He keeps everything on just the right side of okay so that the others don't try to take them away from him, while still being able to take all his sadistic urges and whatnot out on them. Everyone else can only really help by giving solid aftercare and keeping him occupied when they need a rest. Oh I love that so much, they all learned ASL so they could help hoh/deaf people during rescues, but it's very convenient for a nonverbal partner too! Ian would be so into it. Not really, it's just considered rude. Which I guess runs the risk of a supernatural being not liking you, which would suck, but usually there's no consequences. It's just about being polite. I'm hoping they brought in someone Jewish to teach it, cause she was really awful and kept spouting lots of antisemitic bullshit too. But generally the other witchcraft courses I took were really cool and interesting!! For the disability studies minor, technically it's only an honorary thing. I was meant to be in the first class of students graduating with it, because the disability studies programme as an official department was new in my senior year. But then covid hit towards the end of my last semester, so they had to push off the creation of the minor. But I took all the required classes for it, so while it's technically not on my diploma I hit all the requirements for it. It mostly involved various classes about the social and medical models of disability, the history of disability, and the way it's portrayed in media and literature.

7. What was the most embarrassing moment in your muse’s life?

Banagher: Absolutely the time that Audrey told him to his face that he didn't need him. All of that confidence... (💧)

Amuro: Fraw coming over to his house pre-war during a time that his father was away for work, and noticing how messy it was. It was the first time she had seen it like that, and it was almost horrifying.

Kamille: When Fa cut his hair for the first time after he came out to her. He'll never forget how it stuck up because of how she cut it...!

12. What are some warning signs that your muse is getting depressed? 

Banagher: His dissociation gets worse. It's almost hard to notice usually - but when he's getting bad, he goes completely catatonic. It'll be half an hour of staring off into the distance, and he won't respond to even the loudest of sounds.

Amuro: He gets even more cagey and isolated, but hides his feelings much better than he usually does. Amuro isn't the kind to want people to worry about him - so when he notices that he's starting to feel worse and entering an episode, he pushes everyone away with excuses that make it seem normal. "I just have a lot of work to do," "I'm sick," "Fixing a new car is taking up all of my time, I'm sorry!"

Meanwhile, he hasn't left his room in days.

Kamille: He gets twice as irritable as he usually is, often yelling without meaning to or being able to stop it. It embarrasses him, but he really can't control it no matter how hard he tries. It usually ends up in more isolation, because he hates feeling like he's become like his mother.

19. Do they have any distinct voice mannerisms? (e.g. saying ‘like’ or ‘um’ a lot, stutters) 

Banagher: Because of his chronic dissociation, Banagher often completely forgets what he's saying mid sentence. This results in really long "ummm"s - and when he's getting particularly frustrated by not being able to recover the memory, he makes soft clicking noises with his mouth to calm himself down. He hates feeling abnormal - and forgetting makes it so much worse.

Amuro: When he gets embarrassed or frustrated, he starts stuttering. The stutter often frustrates him more, so he'll just keep himself from talking completely if he finds that he can't get the words out. Depending on the situation and who he's with, he'll simply communicate using Newtype abilities, or sign language.

He picked up sign language because Fraw suggested it to him after the OYW. His nonverbal episodes got worse because of his PTSD, and he would frequently get upset when he couldn't respond - so she suggested that he learn sign language. He knows ASL, LSM, and JSL, though all at widely different levels of fluidity. He uses LSM and ASL less frequently than JSL.

Kamille: He often stims with his voice! He says "uh" a lot generally, and popping "p" sounds while he's thinking of what to say - but in terms of stimming, he'll sometimes make random noises with no known origin, or animal noises. His favorite stim is to meow, for some reason - it might have something to do with a brief hyperfixation on cats as a child.

On the Argama, he tends to try and subdue his stimming more - which frustrates him to the point of going into his room just to stim in privacy. Sometimes Quattro will notice him getting upset before he freaks out and take him into another room to help him let out his frustrations via stimming with Kamille. Quattro is awkward about it, but he'll make weird animal noises to help Kamille feel better about it anyway.

YESSS THOUGH (okay Tyler being an iPad kid is kind of funny in concept, but also if i think about it too much it makes me sad bc I feel like he had to learn a lot of skills at a really young age and ended up on youtube/wikihow a lot). I’m esp big on the Ben & Aiden knowing basic ASL--like yeah, Ben can just write or use his phone, but knowing even basic fingerspelling is so helpful when you’re nonverbal/can’t talk. That's always one of my favorites dfgdfg and same for the HC Ashlyn having a lot of joint pain--I've never done any form of dance but I've seen/heard the horrors, her having the worst back/joint pain sounds about right

I'll start with some Tyler ones and then kind of ease off into general SBG headcanons :D Under a readmore for length bc whoops this got a little longer than expected

(There are some vague spoilers ahead? But honestly, I’m p sure what I mentioned that would be a spoiler has been implied by a few episodes before the finale so)

Tyler can cook; so can Taylor, but he's a little bit more picky about how food prep goes and can get overwhelmed if anyone is in the kitchen with him and he doesn’t know what they’re doing/if they’re in his way/if they’re trying to talk to him a lot.

He will let Taylor help sometimes, though, especially if they’re both extra worried about their mom for some reason or something else is up.

He’s extremely meticulous about washing his hands/tools/cutting boards between ingredients. Even if everything he’s chopping goes into the same pot or pan, he’s going to wash that knife every time he switches to a new ingredient.

A lot of people don’t really think of it with how ~picky~ and meticulous he is with how he cooks, but he actually does enjoy it a lot. It’s grounding for him, helps him calm down (so long as nobody else is in the kitchen), and gives him a chance to think things through.

He's actually a lot better at cooking than Taylor. Nobody really expects it out of him.

He, Taylor, and their parents used to actually cook as a family. After their dad died, though, he took on the majority of cooking.

He and Taylor are vegetarians. This is oddly specific and holds no weight other than “they wore matching shirts with the name a now-closed vegan restaurant that existed in New York printed on them Once” but it kind of stuck w me after I pointed it out to my husband. I’m p sure he had a School Burger (definitely not vegetarian friendly) on his tray in one of the early episodes, but like [I Do Not See It.png]. Not sure if I have the headcanon that Mariana is also a vegan or a vegetarian, I kinda go back and forth with it a lot.

While his dad only taught him a few songs on the guitar, he would actually be really good at it, if he gave himself the time to sit down and work with it. I think he probably loved it a lot as a kid, but after losing his dad, it just kind of... Hurt to try to pick it up consistently again. If he's ever home alone or near one and alone, though, he'll absolutely pick it up and just slowly/carefully strum out a few notes or songs.

I'm p sure that it's implied to be canon based on One conversation he and Taylor had, but I'm completely saying that he prioritizes sports (especially baseball) because he's hoping he can secure a scholarship through it+essentially get a free ride to college and make shit easier on his mom. And also, y'know, make her proud.

He gets overwhelmed really easily in-general, and that contributes to a lot of his angry outbursts. Pressure stim (weighted blankets, weighted items in-general) are a godsend for him. He hides it pretty well, but after a certain point, he’ll start to get snappy--and it really just seems like it happens for no reason (but, y’know, he’s actually overwhelmed/under a lot of stress).

He also really just. Loves to hold hands with people that he's close to. He says it's so that they feel safer/more comfortable, but honestly, it's a mutual feeling. He feels safer with the people he loves/the people he cares about within arms reach.

He tends to sit really close to. Anyone that he considers a friend or family. Like, shoulder-to-shoulder with them. If they move away, he notices--and will try to remember that for the next time he sits next to them.

Taylor will also do this; it's something she kind of subconsciously picked up from her brother. She notices just as much as he does if someone moves away, but instead of just silently keeping a little bit of a distance, she'll actually ask if she can sit closer to them.

Ben loves this a lot, actually. Taylor is so physically warm (and also just generally sweet/understanding), and he loves having conversations with her, so he loves having her nearby. It’s convenient when she can see his phone easily/see what he’s typing.

Ben prefers traditional art, but he isn’t opposed to digital; he’s not used to using a drawing tablet yet, but he really likes the various tools and other features that come with it. Since his art is for him/a lot of it is art therapy, he doesn’t really post it or share it with anyone unless one of his friends asks.

Logan actually loves having his nails painted. At first, he was kind of worried (because of bullying, his grandparents, just generally afraid he couldn’t pull it off, worried about ruining his nails while working in the greenhouse, etc.), but after he heard Aiden and Taylor talk about it, he was like... Huh. Maybe I could try it. He doesn’t really like experimenting with colors or designs--he likes a lot of neutral tones (specifically dark browns), but Taylor did convince him to try a really warm orange shade once and he loved it.

When he gets extremely embarrassed, Logan will hide his face in his hands. Unfortunately, in these moments, he usually forgets he has glasses on, so those get dirty or he accidentally jabs the nose piece against his eye.

Aiden doesn’t paint his own nails often, but when he does, he goes for the brightest, most eye-straining colors. Like, the brightest neons ever.

Aiden sneaks out often, much to Ben’s panic. He tries to sneak out without Ben noticing/after Ben falls asleep, but. This happens more as the weather gets cooler/colder. It stopped happening as much after the Savannah trip, but he still slips out every now and then (and has, at least once, narrowly made it back in through his window before midnight)

Ashlyn keeps their group chat labeled “them.” Not out of any negative feelings towards anyone in it, she just can’t be bothered to change it or think of any new name for it. It’s kind of growing on her though, it’s almost endearing now.

I’ll throw One in about the parents but this has gotten a lot longer than I initially expected dfgdfg Emma is so nervous around Logan’s grandparents. She already kind of struggles socially--she isn’t the same level as Ashlyn, she’s more indifferent and “eh, if I talk to someone, I talk to someone”--but man Logan’s grandma unnerves the absolute hell out of her. She just seems so intense to her.

Riley actually goes nonverbal sometimes when she is stressed out or exceedingly nervous. This doesn’t happen much anymore, but happened in the early days of being a hunter and happened a lot when she was younger, so to circumvent when she was growing up she learned ASL.

Adair realized that really early on when she got hurt during a mission (the big one she got hurt on where she almost didn’t make it because she got so freaked out she couldn’t call for help). When she woke up and spent the next few weeks in the hospital, Adair learned sign language for her.

All this to say her favorite form of communication is the nonverbal way she and Adair can talk. Even without using her hands, Adair and Riley can understand each other on a level she’s never really had before.

The fact that neither of them can figure out the other is in love with them is ironic and sad lol

Riley doodles a lot and is actually pretty good at art. She has a sketchbook with drawings of Adair that she keeps very hidden away because it’s embarrassing but wow they’re pretty.

okay y'all, here are some more headcanons lmao. i went to reread the ending of the last fic i posted on ao3 (post abt it here if anyone is interested) bc i loved the sign language part that i wrote, but instead my brain went "ooo autistic!sara/ptsd!sara and autistic!ray nonverbal communication :)))" so,,, that's how these headcanons came about

ray learned sign language from a very young age, partially bc it was one of his special interests for a time and partially bc he wanted a way to communicate with people when he became nonverbal, during sensory overload or after a meltdown/shutdown

sara didn't Really learn sign language until after she returned home to star city the first time. like she knew bits and pieces maybe from her youth, and nyssa might've taught her some here and there, but it wasn't until after she got back home that she started to really need it. laurel was the one to teach a lot of it to her (bc laurel Definitely learned from a young age, just bc she wanted to), because of a really bad night where sara became nonverbal and had a harder time communicating what she needed. so laurel started teaching her after that, and she learned more on her own once she left

a lot of times when sara becomes nonverbal it's less to do with sensory overload/meltdowns/shutdowns and more to do with really really bad days/nights regarding all her trauma. occasionally it Is because of sensory overload/meltdown/shutdown, but the majority of the time it's bc of all her trauma n ptsd

it was still early in their time as legends when ray found out that both he and sara went nonverbal at times, although for much different reasons. they didn't know each other super well and ray, being ray, was trying to be friendly and have conversation with her while they were stuck on the ship, but she wasn't responding verbally to him at all and when it looked like she was about to try she had an almost pained look of concentration on her face bc it was taking so much effort to try to gather her thoughts and form words and force herself to speak and get the words right too. ray noticed and put two and two together and effortlessly switched to sign language (after asking whether sara knew it or not) before sara even got a word out (sara was thankful for that. it really was taking far too much effort and she didn't have the energy for it so early in the morning, especially after the night she had had that resulted in her becoming nonverbal in the first place)

really soon after that ray tells sara that he sometimes goes nonverbal too, but because of autism rather than trauma/ptsd (sara didn't state that that was the reason for her going nonverbal in as many signed words, but she very vaguely hinted at it and ray put the pieces together/inferred the rest). sara, in a moment of actually letting her guard down even a little to ray, smiles softly and nods, because it's nice to have someone who understands what being nonverbal is like

after that they kinda get closer and become better friends, and they both kinda learn how to pick up on when the other is nonverbal, even if it's not super obvious for everyone else. it helps because if the need arises, they can let the team know that the other one is nonverbal so that the team can like,,, adjust communication expectations or w/e

sometimes sara n ray talk to each other using sign language even when one of them isn't nonverbal, just bc like,, sometimes it's still Easier for them to communicate without speaking

when one or both of them just need like,,, calm and quiet, they hide away in either the library or, later (once sara becomes captain), the captain's office, together. they just sit with each other and occasionally check in using sign language so that they keep the calm and quiet atmosphere

one time sara has a really bad night and ray finds her sitting on the floor of the cargo bay, so he sits across from her and when she looks up he can see that she's been crying, so he signs "anything i can do to help?" (bc he wants to help but knows by now that sara probably won't wanna actually tell him what's bothering her). sara shrugs and they kinda make small talk in ASL for a little while before ray can tell that sara's kinda getting lost in her head again, bc more tears come and she closes her eyes and tries to wipe them away, so he taps her lightly on the arm and signs "is touch okay? do you want a hug?" and sara pauses and hesitates a moment but eventually nods and lets ray hug her, and it kinda helps bc ray gives v good hugs, n awhile later they go n hang out in the library and ray makes it his mission for the night to get sara to smile/laugh with any joke he can possibly think of in sign language

Why yes, I do have ND ocs.

Annie is autistic and has adhd - so I honestly love your HCs about Tim and Helen (and tbh I’ve stolen them and made them a part of my world with my ocs).

She has a really difficult time with social cues and reading facial expressions and doesn’t always know how to respond in social settings. From a really young age, she learned to mimic people around her - particularly Helen and Jessica - as a way to fit in/react properly to things.

She has a lot of sensory issues - particularly involving loud sounds and certain fabrics. Helen and Tim got her a pair of really high quality noise canceling headphones to help her. They also went out of their way to make sure that all of her clothes are made out of fabrics that won’t bother her.

Although she does have issues with sounds, she loves music - particularly classical music. When she was little, Helen used to play piano music all the time to help her calm down. When she was in school, Annie joined the band and she learned how to play multiple instruments- violin is probably her favorite. When she grew up, Annie joined the Springfield Philharmonic, and she opened her own music store after King Toot’s closed.

She has a special interest in music - she could research it for hours on end, she taught herself how to play several instruments, and she knows everything there is to know about most instruments. She loves to infodump about music to anyone who will listen. One of her favorite things to do is sit with her dad in the choo choo room - she sits and talks about music while watching Tim’s trains zip around the track, and Tim loves to listen to her.

When she gets overwhelmed, she’ll go nonverbal. She’s tried to learn ASL, but she can’t quite get the hang of it. She knows a few important words and phrases, but she can’t hold an actual conversation using ASL, which sometimes stresses her out even more. Typically if she ever goes nonverbal around Ruthie - who is her best friend - Ruthie will just get out a pen and paper and slowly try to help Annie calm down through a written conversation. (Also, Ruthie is super protective of Annie and she will not hesitate to fight anyone at school who bullies Annie or makes her feel uncomfortable)

I just realized that I spent a ton of time talking about Annie, so i’m just gonna be brief about the others.

Mollie has adhd and ocd. Neither actually gets diagnosed until she’s an adult because honestly the entire Simpson family is ND so Homer and Marge didn’t really pick up on anything unusual.

And I know these aren’t technically considered ND, but Abbie has depression, and both Abbie and Ruthie have ptsd - Abbie from the way her father treated her and Edna before the divorce, and Ruthie because she actually witnessed Maude’s death (She was only a year old so no one thought she would remember it, but it’s one of her first memories. But for the longest time she didn’t even know it was a real memory because no one in her family ever talks about how Maude died)

- He’s not very good at languages :( but he learned a few basic signals and is a lot better at reading your hands than signing to you

- He created a few key word signals with you that are easy for him to remember, stuff like a motion that means “I need to be taken inside” or “I can’t/don’t want to speak right now” and.… my favorite… “do you need me”

- He really likes using his hands to communicate because he also fidgets so often, so he practices sign language by signing along when he talks

- Overalls? Look cute as hell on this man he will 1000% buy a pair just to match with you

- Sweaters and overalls are THE cutest combo and everyone agrees on this

- Only downside is Toby is always right over your shoulder when someone gives you a compliment ready to be like “she’s mine so back off !”

George

He goes thru an apocalypse story phase when he's a teenager

George's family has taco Tuesdays, which means Harold also has taco tuesdays

He never knew Harold developed separation anxiety until they were in middle school and it had chilled a lot. He just knew his best friend was a little clingy and got really scared if he was missing, so he did everything in his power to make sure Harold felt safe and knew that he was safe too

His MSG allergy effects him 3 different ways: he either gets a rash (Dav's word) he gets a stomachache (season 1 finale cupcake shop) or he throws up (Hack-o-Ween). Throwing up is a lot less common/often than a rash or stomachache

His parents are divorced and that's why they were fighting so much during the parent day episode and why his mom was flirting w a fart

Actually becomes really good friends with Erica once she comes out to him, he likes to build and theorize with her. She really is smart and, crush or not, he admires that about her

He acts really confident but he's actually very anxious about talking to people. He doesn't know what to do and when he really wants to make friends he's terrified he'll mess up
