Mercy is crossed out and we obviously have that as her sample chapter, so what if Arya's next alias is "Joy"? Over-thinking the significance of that phrase and how it could apply to the rest of her Braavos arc🤔

#keese draws#oc art#oc#ocs#seth my beloved <3#fun fact! he’s very likely my oldest currently used oc#I’m pretty sure I made the rest of the magic cat world for him and if that’s true then he’s at least older than the magic cat world#and he’s also older than eternal gales so that’s another batch of main ocs that he is older than#the only real competition is lace since she’s also super old but alas I have no way of knowing how old she is#she could easily be older than seth but even if she is she’s only been like a real oc for the past few months lol#she was originally just another one off story concept I was obsessed with for like a month and then kinda dropped#I say kinda because she’s probably the only story from that era that managed to resurface every now and then#like it is legitimately quite impressive that she’s from that era and yet managed to be named and remembered for years to come#like I need to make clear I did not name characters very often back then and when I did I usually forgot their names within the day#my memory Sucked back then even more so than it does now#the fact that I can remember as much as I do abt lace in her original form is baffling to me#but still she did go into slumber for like 4-7 years so she doesn’t have the history that seth has to me#the biggest thing I mourn is that I don’t have the original art of seth anymore and haven’t for years#I originally got him from a scratch dta and the host project has been deleted#chances are the original designer doesn’t have the original drawing anymore either 😔#I probably had it downloaded on my school laptop at the time but I obviously can’t access that anymore#idk maybe I imported it onto one of the other projects I drew seth in#I should go look later just to make sure even tho I’m pretty sure they won’t be there

im very much a beginner at sewing BUT i do think this turned out pretty charming despite all the flaws!!
#i made her for one of my best friends#its a tiny version of her cat and said cat is named tiny#never use stretch fabric as a beginner its hell to work with ough#i had fun though!! despite a few times i got pretty frustrated#i also was swearing up a storm and talking to myself quiety the whole time but that just helped me focus lmao#sewing#plushies#handmade#cat#yew branch#also someone who was there when i gave this to my friend came up to me shortly afterwards#and she asked if she could commission me for three of these bc she has three cats#i said itd prooobably be around $150 but id reduce it a lot if she paid for whatever new fabrics and matching thread id need#id be charging that high because this single plushie took me eight hours#but also the girl has a stetched septum at my goal size and i asked if she still has the various sized jewelry she used during the process#and she said yes and that she would be delighted to give them to someone who is just starting the process#she said she would give me them for free but if she does commission me im gonna give a further discount in exchange for the jewelry#her bf arrived to pick her up unexpectedly early though so she had to leave really fast bc he refused to wait :/#so i didnt get her contact info. but literally everyone at that hangout knows her so i can just get her contact info from them#im pretty excited about this tbh itd be wonderful to have motivation like that to get back into sewing#even if she doesnt end up commissioning me its still a confidence boost that she asked me!!#also the friend whos birthday it was (shes a new years eve baby!) fffffffffuuuuuuccccccccccck i was always meant to become a mascot character designer
#making slightly esoteric but kind of cute characters based off anything is my true calling. i can never stop.#a few weeks ago i was chatting with a friend about how in fucking. highschool science class#we had to do a presentation on medical conditions and i was assigned scoliosis. a bunch of my friends and family have it so i was prepared.#but also i was at the time like unable to make any project without making funny little cartoons and a weird narrative about it#so i. made an illustrated powerpoint. about scoliosis facts and info. but like framed through the narrative of a rockabilly singer characte#he had a pompadour of course and was named johnny or some shit. and his backup singers who were disemboded floating spines#that sing. he was a normal human. he had sunglasses i think. anyway the spine backup singers were The Spinettes and one of them#her name was like spinella or something i dont remember had scoliosis and the plot of the powerpoint. the plot of the powerpoint#was basically a comic i narrated out loud LOL but the plot was like a saturday morning cartoon very special episode. i had fun with it#no one laughed at my jokes. the disembodied talking spines was a little too esoteric for 2014 teenagers. but later acquaintances said they#liked it? grew on them i guess. anyway i spent like all of highschool doing shit like that. oh god this is what ive always been meant to do#(still thinking too much about my place as an artist because of undergrad theses dont mind me)#(i shouldnt think tooo hard about it tho. my professors are hard on me because they see a lot of potential. but they're also like)#(kind of in a bubble as professors in the fine arts dept of a non art school in ontario. so i do need to take their advice carefully)#(did i ever mention how a prof said i should look into robert crumb as a 'similar artist to me'? the fritz the cat guy????)#(what does it mean.... what does it all mean..... tbh it might just mean that thats the only cartoonist she knew the name of LOL)#(and even then she might not know much about him. like the racism etc. my profs have good advice sometimes but like i said theres a bubble)

first thing my housemate does when she gets back is literally scream at me because i didn't get any of her calls -- because i don't have an activated phone --- while i was driving back from putting my mouse to sleep.
and then continue to slam doors
#mind you she had a perfectly fine ride at work.#the same ride she ended up getting#but she thought i would go out of my way with my mice in the car and my dead mouse in my lap to pcik her up.#again. when i do not have data.#and again.#when i literally just got back from putting my mouse down.#im not surprised though because the day after my 13yo cat died suddenly she screamed at me and had a bipolar fit#about a table i had that she NEEDED right that moment#literally screaming at me every five minutes about the table and even trying to bang my door down#mind you#it was my fucking table.#there was no reason she needed it#because all she did with it qwas put it down in the basemnet#and throw a fit because all i did was push it outside my door and leave it right at the top of the stairs#you want and need this table oh so badly when my cat literally just died?#do all the work. and maybe trip down the stairs and die while youre at it.#i fucling HATE this woman unironically#oh and btw she asked completely last second for a ride#i was in the shower when she first texted me#and it was literally at 5pm. when work ends.#instead of asking me before i fucking left?#or god forbid sending a text earlier ((i still wouldnt have gotten or saw it becaue. again. #so what happened is my leader budstar and my healer sorrelcrest had two kits#rootkit (who died as a kit from an osprey attack) and milkykit (later milkypelt)#milkypelt happened to be very close to (and even mates with at one point) this cat named beechmoth#(named for beecha oleg of course)#so beechmoth dies on a patrol#and then quite a bit later our deputy thunderrip is murdered. whoop de doo#i suspected archpaw (now archtide) at first since she was the only cat in our clan who had a df affinity#but as it turns out archpaw had no dislike towards thunderrip at all.#who had the most dislike towards thunderrip? fuckin milkypelt.#i thought about it for a bit and decided to exile her#so yeah this is kind of a mafty situation we're dealing with#at least in my gundam-obsessed mind#warrior cats#clangen#wc clangen#moss mod#gundam#hathaway's flash#mafty navue erin
