In this au Magnus is very bratty and easily gets angry, meaning he likes a walking red flag and Predaking is like a big soft teddy walking around, and for some reason when he first saw Magnus he just like "Nah I can fix him" but eventually he can't. But for some reason, they still make it up and live peacefully together... Well, not all the time ig :))

And as for Shockwave and Predaking, I kinda forgot about them when I made that post, and also forgot to add them later. So, I might as well talk about them in this post

SG!Shockwave doesn't exactly thrive on logic, more so on emotion. He's an emotional mech, known for having emotional outbursts from time to time. Don't mistake those emotions for dumbness cause he still has his intellect, it's just that he sometimes doesn't use it when he gets up to shenanigans...

SG!Predaking is a gentle giant, and despite his appearance, gives the best hugs. Sometimes, he doesn't know his own strength, but that rarely happens now. He's 'unofficially adopted' Starscream and now is always by the seeker's side. Don't underestimate him cause of his actions, he's still as ferocious and as powerful as the king of the predacons.

Everyone feels like they should have remembered the single kindest Con joining the dark ship.

Especially since they looked eerily similar to Arachnid.

Buddy works in the infirmary with Knockout and Breakdown.

Occasionally they will assist in making sure the Vechicon weapons are in stock and ready.

These Cons don’t have a problem with Buddy being around the Nemesis. They get their work done and don’t cause any trouble. Sure, them being nice is something a bit weird to see on the Nemesis but it isn’t harming anyone so it’s nothing. They may approach Buddy and have a conversation with them, but nothing more.

There are two extremes of this.

One side is that they will find Buddy’s personality annoying and a bit of a nuisance depending on how their mood is that day. May snapp at Buddy if things are bad, but never actually harming them.

The other side is that they absolutely loathe Buddy. They just hate them with every fiber in their being. Has and will continue to try and cause little ‘accidents’ that may or may not indirectly cause Buddy’s end. The only reason why these Cons haven’t done it straight forward is because of the number of Cons that like them and could potentially offline them as revenge.

They are going to protect the only other nice Con on board. They love having Buddy around compared to many of the meaner Cons on board. Megatron "Fake Redemption" Arc (TFP; not entirely sure if the redemption arc would really be fake or not because I have complicated feelings on redeeming someone like Megs, especially in TFP - maybe I'd also do an Amnesia arc; anyway, I'd want to explore Bee's feelings towards that and especially towards it happening in his direct vicinity + I want to do something A Monster Calls-Esque where he talks to the spirits of the Primes in order to make sense of all of this; + I'd imagine him running away at some point or another and hanging out with KOBD who've abandoned the Cons at that point)

Humanformers/Mecha AU (probably based on TFP, maybe a mix of different stuff - Earth and Cybertron are parallel dimension versions of the same planet and Shockwave creates a portal between them; and then throws a few people through it in order to test it out - among them Predaking and Bee; later a rescue mission consisting of a few more Autobots as well as more Cons also ends up on Earth)

"Bayverse Twist-Up" (Shattered Glass esque rewrite of the Bayverse Movies inspired loosely by Arthurian Literature - although that Arthurian Literature inspo is relatively new so I can't say too much about that part yet)

Another OC I use in both my TFP Shattered Glass and Terratron AUs is a predacon named Serrate.

In the SG story, she's one of half a dozen "predlings" cloned by Shockwave, the smallest but fiercest, and most ready to launch her miniature fireballs at any enemy who comes too close.

The Terratron version of her emerges fully formed from a hot spot on Cybertron several centuries after the war ends, close enough in size to Predaking that he's the only person she'll take orders from for a long time. Eventually, belligerence settles into stubborn patience, and an eagerness to pick fights evolves into a desire for righteous battle, leading to her signing up to join the Patrol as a combat agent.

Verses

Main Verse:

V: MAIN | PRE SERIES ✧ ☾ prehistoric predator ☽ This part of the main series takes place on Cybertron, when Predacons roamed the planet. Supernova is a cunning creature, using tactics of sound manipulation with its ringing bell and siren-like songs to lure in prey. It seldom seeks out company besides other Predacons, and typically those interactions turn hostile quickly due to its nature. 

V: MAIN | DURING SERIES ✧ ☾ undercooked experiment ☽ SN-304 is a young, underdeveloped specimen from Shockwave’s Project Predacon, that miraculously survived the cave-explosion caused by the Autobots due to her being a late addition to the project.  She is discovered and taken in by the Autobots and is typically kept hidden away in their hanger base of operations, so she is not discovered by the Decepticons. She is nursed back to health by Ratchet and names herself ‘Starburst’ during this time. Due to the nature of this era of her life, it is difficult to roleplay with anyone who isn’t on ‘Team Prime’ during this time in her life. (Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Bumblebee, Arcee, Bulkhead, Wheeljack, Ultra Magnus, Smokescreen, Miko, Jack, Rafael, Fowler & June.) However, I would never rob anyone from interacting with a baby dragon so we can make it work!

V: MAIN | POST SERIES✧ ☾ inquisitive explorer ☽ Though she will never reach her full intended size, with the help of the Shockwave’s research and an abundance of CNA, Starburst has grown stronger and more powerful. Since the war has concluded, she journeys back and forth between Cybertron and Earth via spacebridge but has a strong preference for the latter. She uses Ratchet’s cloaking device to explore the Earth and its natural beauties, and she is drawn in to humanity’s creativity and innate passion. She does eventually move to Cybertron to live with the other Predacons, but it is several years down the line when her Autobot family has settled there as well. 

Decepticon AU:

V: DECEPTICON ✧ ☾ unwilling scrapper ☽ SN-304 is discovered in the wreckage of the Project Predacon explosion by the Decepticons, and rather than being destroyed, her timid nature is exploited, and she is raised as a weapon. Rather than being shown care and love by the Autobots in her normal main verse, she is shown cruelty and abuse by the Decepticons (Particularly Starscream). While brutal in battle, when confronted outside of combat SN-304 tends to be skittish and fearful of authority and is quick to flee from a scuffle unless she is forced to fight. With the Decepticons being defeated, she flees and spends most of her time cowering in Predaking’s shadow on Cybertron, bowing to his authority. 

Shattered Glass: 

V: SG ✧ ☾ autobot menace ☽ Supernova was a creation by the Autobot sadist and scientist Reamer, who decided to resurrect an ancient cybertronian beast for fun. She acted as an ‘attack dog’ of sorts for the Autobots, mauling and killing anything she was directed to do. Outside of combat she was quiet and kept to herself, seeming to be emotionally closed off. She only showed her true feelings when toying with the ‘mate’ that was created for her, or when trying to assert her dominance against the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. However, her insolence soon caught up to her as she was cast out of the Autobot’s home, sent to live on her own with several of Reamer's other creations.

V: SG ✧ ☾ predacon queen ☽ The appointed leader of her own Predacon army, Supernova has slipped into a ruthless and paranoid mindset. Her desire to slaughter Optimus Prime grows by the day, along with her fear that he will bring harm to her Predacons. Her emotional shut down from her initial creation comes back in full swing, pushing away any relationships she had previously forged. She commands her Predacons to attack any Decepticon or Autobot on sight (except for Reamer & Optimus), and while her numbers are small, they are mighty. Deep down, she cares passionately for her Predacon flock, and protects them with all her spark, though she would never put this sentiment to words. 

Other Series:

V: TFONE ✧ ☾ energon aficionado ☽ Starburst is a low-ranking mining bot who is not very good at her job. She hasn’t been demoted further due to an innate sense of locating energon veins within the mines. She’s clumsy and forgetful, and often gets herself injured and caught in cave-ins. Upon the return of her transformation cog, she discovers that she has a draconic beast-mode instead of a traditional vehicle. With energon flowing through the world once again, she finds herself lacking a purpose and hopes to learn more about herself and her interesting new form. 

V: RBA ✧ ☾ artistic adjunct ☽ Starburst is a teacher at the Rescue Bot’s academy, focusing on Art of all kinds. She doesn’t have a permanent position at the Academy and shows up rather unprompted and without warning. She spends her time outside of the Academy exploring the world and secretly watching humans and learning about their forms of art and how dragons (like her!) are explored in other cultures. Whenever she’s at the academy, she does cause a bit of a messy whirlwind of colors and chaos, often leaving a trail of paint wherever she goes. She always leaves cleaner than she arrived, as if someone forced her to take a bath.

V: G1 ✧ ☾ turncoat dragonbot ☽ To combat the Dinobots, the Decepticons created a ‘Dragonbot’ called Supernova. However, most of the time Supernova tries to attack the autobots or Dinobots she often plays and hangs out with them instead, enjoying the shenanigans and tomfoolery when visiting the ‘enemies.’ Whenever she is sent back to the Decepticons, the emblem on her ‘collar’ is replaced with that of the Autobot logo and is switched back upon being noticed. She doesn’t really want to fight and wishes to simply exist outside of the war and have fun.

Whether by the AllSpark or Primus or even a particularly bored Unicron—a Transformers Meet Up spanning universes would be chaotic.

…Good thing Dart’s already been through a Meet Up before as they had to coral the Jasper Trio, Burns Family, and Predacon Newsparks away from all the action.

Whatever being thought it was a good idea to have dozens of versions of the Decepticons and Autobots in the same general vicinity was insane. Correction, the entity was most likely bored and wanted to cause chaos. Dart could only watch from the designated “organic/children” area as the chaos unfolded. The oddly young Optimus they helped “train” was among all the Cybertronians. There was another version of Predaking outside their own who had two other Predacons with him.

The Starscream, Knockout, and Breakdown they helped were sorta keeping an eye on the members of the Inertia Faction here. Several other Knockouts of similar make were swanning around the actually still functioning Breakdown. ‘Silas getting to the poor broadframe must have been a staple in most universes.’ ‘No wonder that AllSpark pulled us there to save him and Cliffjumper.’ An Orion Pax, D-16, Elita-One and B-127 were among the youngest cybertronians in the gathering.

One Megatron with the Autobot symbol on his chest, but still red optics who seemed oddly close to a human woman named Dorothy. (EarthSpark) Another presumably good Megatron who had a red Decepticon symbol yet blue optics. (Shattered Glass.

So so so many Bumblebees!

There was a very intricate looking Optimus who seemed far too intense… (Bayverse).

Dart’s vigilance toward the various Megatrons paid off when a certain purple-optic one tried to storm the Organics Area. The Omnitrix user promptly turned into Bygone and tore off his fusion cannon for safety measures. Every being who didn’t know them (especially some of the humans) were gobsmacked at the transformation.

Okay. So. The thing is, pretty much all my RP blogs, past and present, are using characters from fan fiction I have or plan to write. And buddy, I write a lot of fic.

Including one project, several years ago, that featured a TFP Shattered Glass AU, wherein Shockwave's attempt to clone additional predacons got interrupted, and the Decepticons ended up with a handful of baby preds to look after, rather than fully grown and formidable reinforcements.

That version of Predaking delighted in being a big brother to his tiny gremlin siblings.

And I am highkey tempted to at some point create a sideblog for them.

The Autobots

The Decepticons Part 1

Right after Dreadwing from the last post is Airachnid. A lot of people don’t like her, some don’t like her because she’s a victim of bad writing. Now, I hope that this shattered version is enough to get you not to hate her, because despite what she did and represents, I don’t have any bad blood for her.

Checking out the tfwiki (before I realised fanwiki’s didn’t have vehicles listed for alts) I believe in search for backstory, I found that canon Airachnid transformed into a stylised RAH-66 Comanche instead of Fowler’s actual vehicle and I thought; ‘no wait, this is great’. I’ve already gone into some detail about how this Shattered Glass Airachnid works, a pessimistic mentally scarred arachnicon with PTSD and Survivor’s Guilt, but with this new alt it wraps her story up in a neat little bow.

Her new alt, based on the scan she should have taken, is based on a Bell 212 helicopter, and though I have initially used a cameo pattern to reference a daddy longlegs spider, this specific model is also used as a rescue vehicle. Why does that work? MEDIC TEAM, BABY! She probably has some lime green optics? Like more yellow than green but still with green.

And after all these characters, all the way in the third post, we finally get to our doctor duo. Our CMO Knock Out and his assistant Breakdown. Seeing as I mentioned Breakdown a little bit just before (though really vaguely so I mean...) I’ll talk about what’s going on with him.

I want to make this mech afraid of the quiet. Not to say he has paranoia like his canon version, but when there isn’t any noise he begins to think, and though not much of a thinker in a literal sense, Breakdown does not like to think about all the ways things can go wrong. So to compensate, he is also a loud mech, talkative and explicitly sociable. You think canon Breakdown’s chummy with the Vehicons? Check this guy out! Teaming up with Skyquake, he helps bring up the mood of the remaining Decepticon forces. Heck, just his presence encourages mechs to ACTUALLY get check ups instead of trying to soldier on. Best boy is also best nurse.

Not that this was an intentional comparison, but like Airachnid, Breaky’s got an alt to match his personality. The nerd boys came back to me with a Roshel Senator APC, and I mean, if you ignore the who Senator part, I’m sure you see the ‘Armoured Protected Carrier’ in the title. So yes, it’s perfect for this big tiddy nurse husbando (oh god that was horrid). Maybe also his optic colour is purple.

Getting to Knock Out now, he may not seem like he’s related to the original at all from initial appearance and characterisation. Instead of running his mouth like the suave flirt that canon Doc Knock is, SG!Doctor KO is rather silent, and far more in the brooding sense.

Decorated in scars; the ones I’ve settled on in a chassis gouge, a soldering scar on the faceplate, a scrape on his door and a mark on the back reminiscent of missing wing struts (oh yes I’m going down this route), Knock Out celebrates his appearance unlike other shattered alternates by caring about his appearance in a more... battletorn way. He has a name and face for every scar (but I don’t aside from definitely Ratchet and a debated between Wheeljack and Breakdown for some funky angst) and the only real time he speaks more than a few words is when he retells the tales of how he got his injuries... but he’s a little morbid to sorta reference his canon sadism so no little kids are allowed to listen in.

Despite still being an automobile enthusiast, he’s has too many looks when ‘disguised’ as an Aston Martin, so to compensate, he’s now a 1999 Honda Civic. Also, that’s what I mean by chassis gouge, just visualise the other scars haha.

Because I don’t have an image for the Vehicons, I’m focusing on the Insecticons here instead. I’ve mentioned it once before but Airachnid isn’t the queen of the Insecticons, which happens because idk funky processor stuff I have the big fear of external content.

So, I needed to look for a horned beetle, and a beetle I found in the Hercules Beetle. Though still containing some of that Insecticon brown, I think the white-ish... elytron? The wing covers I guess.

Before I move onto Vehicons (‘Vehicon lives matter!’ You cry) I’ll talk a bit about the Predacons. Predaking, if given love and affection, is total baby. Predaking, if given the command to defend against the Autobots, would defend with dentae and claws.

With a mix? You get Merry Madness. Yes I am using Dead Sound to reference these ancient boys. Yes I am using this as an excuse to share my love of Dead Sound animations. So as a neat little twist, to show that Predacons are both the spark of hope and dangerous beasts, I wanna keep the browns and yellows and mix it with the purple. Hey! I think it’s a cool idea!

Vehicon time! There’s a little less colour variety in the Decepticons than the Autobots, but the Vehicons have turned themselves into a rainbow of a force. Sure, they might have originally been one colour scheme (red and black for general forces, white and gold for specialists) but now they have a myriad of different choices.

Some are one colour, some have two, others three. Some focus on patterns, others on flats and quite a few on lustre. Though they don’t have an unlimited amount of paint, the dwindling forces has allowed Vehicons to become whoever they want and Megatron can’t recommend it enough.

In contrast, Makeshift did his best to be the least stand-offish colour in the group. Before his untimely demise on his infiltration mission, the brief moments he was in his base form, he was adorned with the goldish finish of the Autotroopers.
