Funkycule fun fact #2884782: because penilians are hypercarnivores, they have evolved out of the ability to taste sweet things. Due to this, the penilian equivalent of candy is typically based on saltiness. Pringles are like candy to penilians
#if youre wondering how cassandra is surviving on earth as a hypercarnivore: 'carnivore' diet supplemented with the fact#that as partial scavengers penilians are gifted with being borderline immune to food poisoning#so in a pinch she could just like. kill and eat a bird JDKQHDKQ#shes still pretty malnourished though. earth meat isnt the same as what the penilians farm off nearby alien planets#(penilians no longer eat meat sourced from their own planet for cultural reasons)#nearby planets are similar enough to get away with it. earth not so much JDKQJDK#honestly a theres a nonzero chance that part of the reason cas is so chill these days is because shes malnourished#and also was basically forced to develop asthma because the oxygen content difference between earth and the penilian homeworld is#uh. noticeable (all species there are massive after all)#negated mostly by being constantly shapeshifted so small but shes still not entirely built for it BFKAJDKW#💛#funkycule au#rambling about this because i almost accidentally fell back asleep thinking abt it gm JDKQJDK

found my ancient mp3 player recently. finally found a charger for it and plugged it in. and remembered i found a yt playlist of the whole httyd movie chopped up into like 20 videos and i downloaded the mp3s of all of them to listen to on the school bus. which is why i can effortlessly quote the whole first movie now
#i was. unhealthily obsessed with that whole franchise#oh my god i just remembered i used to write rise of the brave tangled dragons fanfic oh my god 😭#i didn't publish much but i had an irl friend also in the fandom and we shared a quotev account to publish stuff together#i still remember the full name she used online#we both used our main characters names online- Rosa and Sara#though i sometimes went by Jenny bc canonically Jenny was Sara's name before she changed it the second she wasn't on earth anymore#(<- EGG. EGG. EGG. EGG.)#(like legit the second she got isekaid she cut her hair super short and changed her name-)#also sara canonically had the ability to absorb others' souls when they died and then shapeshift into them majoras mask style#(<- EGG CARTON. EGG CARTON. EGG CARTON. EGG CA#sara was dating jack frost bc of fucking course she was. also she had fire magic#Rosa was with Hiccup#and then we had another fic with Kate and Billie who were sisters#years after me and the irl friend stopped talking and i reworked the characters into their own original stories#Billie ended up in a lesbian relationship with a girl named Raven#and they ended up finding Billie's long lost infant sister and raising her like their own kid almost#also i say i wrote RoTBTG fanfic but honestly. i did not care much for tangled back then#i included Rapunzel because i didn't want to seem petty like i was just cutting out the girl i didn't like#bc i did like her just not enough to write her#but she never like. Did Anything#if anything she was usually stuck talking about politics with Stoick and meridas parents and couldn't adventure much#such is the life of a royal i reasoned . so i do not have to have her there and be bored by her#usually i replaced her in the quartet with fucking Melody from little mermaid 2 bc i was unreasonably obsessed with that since childhood#i watched little mermaid 2 before the actual first film because we owned the vhs and i was SO obsessed with melody i LOVED her#i also wanted to become a mermaid and loved singing#so i just. found ways to shoehorn her in#i do not remember everything that i posted and everything that stayed in the vault#bc when me and that irl stopped talking we both deleted Everything in a fit of 14 year old rage and pettiness#I've long since deleted the quotev account- she actually kept using it for years and i let her cause i wasn't THAT petty#but it was under my email and since i noticed she seemed to have abandoned it and i needed to delete the email. it is now gone

cas would not kiss dean first. dean would also not kiss cas first. this is their tragedy. but a shapeshifter or some kind of monster clone or djinn dream would initiate the first kiss and they would 100% return it. or the real dean and cas would've just simply fallen together somehow like tripped and fell and gravity would bring their mouths together whoops anyway they'd both take it from there - and that's not fate pulling strings it's just dumb luck for these two dumbasses (affectionate)
#destiel#thoughts#and btw: i don't know why everyone thinks i'm trying to woobify cas by saying he wouldn't kiss dean first.#fact: dude literally waited for death's door to confess his love so he wouldn't burden dean with his feels - but at least he could#use them to save dean. and he thought he couldn't have dean (the one thing he wanted..) which is why he didn't make the first move#bc he thought there would be no further moves. i don't understand what's not clicking. anyway they're both dumbasses#don't bother fighting me i know i'm right

Strange human emotions
Summary: Castiel has been experiencing some rather strange emotions, especially ones that revolve around you.
Word count: 1.7k
A/n: No one really writes about Cas, and it’s a shame because him, Sam and Dean are my absolute favorite. But I hope you enjoy ;)
༺═────────────═༻
He could feel it coming up again, that same burning feeling in his chest that keeps him up deep into the night. Not that he can sleep to begin with, but still the feeling invaded his every thought as he waited for you and the brothers to wake up.
Cas didn’t know how to explain it, these strange human emotions that he had learned over the years, he didn’t understand them. He knew the ones that you and the boys had taught him, how it helped him learn to express how he felt to others. And he was truly grateful for it.
But, the ones that he was never taught always worried him. Like when he could feel when someone is staring at him, even though nobody is in the room with him. Or even worse when you are near, or when you touch his shoulder when you walk past him, or how about when you speak to him so beautifully that he feels his stomach churning into a weird fluttery feeling.
There must be something wrong, Cas would conclude, pacing the bunker’s library in the dead of night. Maybe you had been taken over by a shapeshifter and this was the universes way of warning him.
Yeah, that had to be it, but how would he tell Sam and Dean that? For Chucks sake you are one of their closest friends, how could he tell them that they would need to kill you?
No. No, he couldn’t kill you. He just needs to figure it out a bit more by morning, he couldn’t just go on a killing spree. It wouldn’t be right.
But if you were in danger or you are the danger then he would need to speak to the brothers about this. But, how?
Cas sat across from you and Dean, Sam to his right of the booth as he stared out the fogged window. The falling snow momentarily capturing his attention, the way each flake was built uniquely different from the other.
It amazed him how something so beautiful could end up in a world like this.
“Hey, Happy meal.” Dean suddenly spoke up, dragging Cas away from the window. “You gonna focus, or are we gonna have to tell you while we fight the sons of a bitches?”
“I’m focused.” Cas told the older man, his hands coming to rest in his lap.
“Mhm, yeah sure.”
Sam cleared his throat, turning his computer to face the others as he began to explain the current case to them. “So, Sophia Cocklen had reported her husband missing, nearly a month ago. And as of three days ago both her brother and eldest son have disappeared as well.”
“Has to have something to do with the men,” you spoke up, dipping a French fry in your ketchup before popping it in your mouth. “Because Sophia’s sister, mother and two daughters hadn’t been touched at all over the past month.”
Sam nodded, clicking on another tab as some police reports popped on screen. “That’s what I thought as well, but the thing is that none of them have any bad records on there name. And…”
Sams voice seemed to drift off, running farther and farther from his ears as the same burning feeling began to arise from his chest. He glanced at you for a quick second, the way you looked at your work and took it seriously. The way your eyes seemed to have a small sparkle in them when you spoke.
And especially the way your hair slightly fell in front of your eyes, hiding that sparkle that made his stomach erupt. It made him want to reach over the table and push it out of your way, just so he could catch another glimpse of…
You pushed your hair out of your face, halting Cas’s thoughts completely. Why was he thinking that? What were you and the boys talking about? Why did his body’s vessel feel so warm and sweaty? Was it getting hotter? What if you had turned evil? What if this was your way to slowly kill him off?
Him. Castiel, an angel of the Lord. Struck down by a woman that was more than likely possessed by a monster.
“Cas?” You questioned, facing the angelic being who seemed to be almost in a trance. “You alright? You look like your sweaty.”
Cas pulled at the collar of his trench coat, the feeling of sweat sliding down his neck. Boy, did he hate how the human body can physically act when you don’t need it to.
“Yes,” He told you rubbing his hands against his pants legs. “Yes I’m fine it’s just a little warm in here is all.”
“Really?” Dean asked, taking a quick sip from his lukewarm coffee. “It’s pretty cold in here to me, what about you Sam? Y/n?”
“Dean.”
“I’m just saying, you gotta focus in, Cas. You’ve been acting real edgy for the last couple of weeks.”
“I’m fine,” Cas told him, trying not to drag the situation down the rabbit hole. “It’s probably just… allergies.”
The boys and you shred a quick look with one another, knowing well enough that angels don’t have allergies. “Cassie?” You questioned leaning forward onto the table. “You don’t get allergies.”
Cas felt his face warm up, “That was just the first thing that came to mind.” He told you, his fingers fiddling with one another. “That’s what you all do.”
Dean smacked his lips, letting out a quick ok before continuing with his conversation. “As I was saying we need to go and search every place that these men where last seen at. And normally I would say go by ourselves to save them, but I’m not so sure what we are up against just yet. So Sam and I will head down to the bar the brother was last seen and Cas, you and Y/n can go and search the junkyard.”
Everyone agreed to Deans order, quickly finishing up their lunch before they need to head back out. Well almost everyone agreed. Cas sat there in his seat, pondering if he should pull Dean or Sam aside and ask if these feelings he is getting about you is bad or good. Because he does not want to harm others but at the same time he didn’t want to hurt you either.
He wanted to beat his head against the table, the thoughts that raced through his mind aggravated him. But what could he do about it? Wait… you and him were going to the junkyard to search for clues of the missing family members, he himself could interrogate you there. But, how?
༺═────────────═༻
At the junkyard, you and Cas kept you voices low, barley speaking a word to one another as you inspected the place. Your flashlight shined about the place, scoping out any and all items that could appear useful for the case.
“So, Sam said that the dad and son used to work here. Almost like a father-son business, you know?” You told him, shining the light in the angels direction, mindful not to blind him in the eye.
He nodded, unable to stop the fluttery filling the further he walked with you. It was killing him, he wanted to ask you what you were doing, because he knew for a fact it was neither of the boys. But, at the same time he didn’t know how to bring it up.
On one hand he could slowly bring up the topic, have a simple conversation before he would ask you. Though, on the other hand, he could just flat out ask you if you were trying to kill him. Because, that’s what it surely felt like. That you were killing him slowly and purposefully.
Cas came to a quick decision, he would hold a conversation with you then ask you. Simple as that, no harm no foul.
“Cassie?” You asked, that soft voice of yours causing his chest to burn and his stomach to twist into knots. What the hell were you doing to him? “Are you alright-“
“Are you trying to kill me?”
You were shocked by his sudden question, his straightforward tone and seriousness catching you off guard completely. “… No?”
“It sure doesn’t seem that way.” He continued to accuse, folding his arms over his chest like he’d seen Dean do plenty of times before. “Would you care tell why you are trying to kill me?”
“But, I’m not?” You told him, voice uncertain and slightly laced with worthy. “Why would you think that?”
Cas glanced around the junkyard, almost as if the answer was somewhere written in the piles upon piles of junk. “My chest has been burning every time you come close to me, or how about when my stomach make me feel like my vessel is going to induce vomiting. When I know for a fact that I don’t eat anything to make it do so.”
You stood silently, letting the words sink deep into your skin. His chest burned? His stomach felt like he was going to throw up? Why the hell would he have thought that you were trying to kill him? It honestly just sounded like his vessel was sick, or maybe he—
You cut your thoughts short, and it suddenly clicked in your mind. A sly smile gracing your lips as you walked towards the angel. “Oh, Cassie~” You sang out, free hand coming to play with the sleeve of his trench coat. “Do you have a crush on me?”
Cas furrowed his brows, eyes dancing across your face as you came closer. “…No? At least I don’t think so.”
A chuckle left your lips, standing up on your tip toes you gave the angel a quick kiss on his check. Watching as a light blush crept upon his cheeks. “I like you too, Cassie.” You turned back to the junkyard, flashing your light at an empty bathtub and broken mattress, leaving the poor angel stuck in his spot.
Cas lifted a hand to where you had kissed him, the ghost of your lips making his heart stutter in his chest. Damn you, he thought to himself. Damn you and these strange human emotions.

prompt: a well-meaning lie
Dean/Cas, 100 words
--
would you still love me if—
Castiel turned his eyes from the made-for-TV romcom and focused his squint on Dean.
“What does she mean?”
“Oh, that’s a test. Does he love her enough to stay with her no matter what?”
“So she isn’t a shapeshifter.”
“No, she was speaking figuratively.”
“Ah.” Castiel went back to watching the movie. After a minute, his head canted slightly toward his shoulder. “I have another form.”
“I remember. Wings, cosmic powers, real loud voice.”
Those blue eyes met his again and narrowed in unspoken question. Inwardly, Dean sighed.
“Yes, Cas. Even if you were a worm.”

So get this, we’re hunting this shapeshifter in DC. It’s been turning into all these senators, but it keeps specifically turning into the oldest and ugliest ones then it goes out to bars and flirts with young women to try and get them into some kind of scandal. I don’t know, everyone has their own way of doing politics. Anyway we corner it in its office and dean says “what are you scared of turning into someone hot?” as some kind of lame taunt. Fell kinda flat. But the shifter gets past us into the hall and when we next trap it in the bathroom it’s turned into Cas! How hilarious is that? Dean tells it to turn into someone hot then it turns into the ugly accountant guy! I couldn’t stop laughing as I stabbed it honestly, and dean was trying to hold back his laughter so hard he was turning red. He was shaking so hard while we dragged out the body. Anyway luckily it let us fake Cas’ death so he’s no longer wanted in Pennsylvania after what happened last week.

CASTIEL STARES AT THE DOG FOR A SECOND before he carefully pats his head once, twice, with the air of someone who actually never petted a dog before in his life. He's neither a cat nor a dog person, but he watched the first humans tame and train wolf puppies, and he can appreciate the various jobs these animals have taken on to help mankind thrive. Then he climbs on a bar stool, hands on the counter, and everything is nice and normal until the barkeeper turns around to face him again with the whiskey in hand, and Castiel does a visible double-take, something akin to shock on his face. This man looks a lot like Dean if Dean had a beard and longer hair. It's spooky. "Um — thanks," he says, still thrown.
‘ can't say i've got much of an imagination when it comes to namin' places. haven't got a pig either, for that matter. ’ not that he wouldn't have one, if he had the space. hell, if he had enough of a yard, he'd have a whole menagerie of animals. but as it stands, he doesn't even have a yard to call his own, so that idea will have to wait. ‘ one whiskey, comin' right up. don't mind the dog, he sure acts like he's attention-starved, but he gets plenty. ’ as if on cue, castiel's hand is nudged by the wet nose of a very needy american alsation, as jackson turns towards the back wall to pour a whiskey.

Y/N’S POV
The knocking on your motel room door startles you, and you grab your gun from the waistband of your jeans and cautiously step towards the door. Flicking the safety off, you place the barrel onto the wood and cautiously open it just enough to see who’s on the other side.
“Sam? Cas?” you gasp, throwing the door open wider.
“You should be more careful, Y/N. We could be demons or shapeshifters or any other kind of monster,” Cas speaks first, and you blink at him, amused, as always, by his directness.
“Nice to see you, too, Cas,” you smirk, opening the door wider to let them in.
“Hey, Y/N,” Sam says as he leans down to hug you. “It’s good to see you.”
“You too, Sam,” you smile as you close the door behind them. You know whatever this unplanned visit is, it’s about Dean.
“You seem healthy,” Cas states, tilting his head to the side and frowning as if searching for something. “And yet—”
“So!” Sam interrupts quickly. “How have you been?”
“Fine…” You narrow your eyes at the alpha’s strange behaviour. “This isn’t a social visit, is it?” You finally ask.
“No,” Cas confirms, and you don’t know if you’re glad he’ll get straight to the point or if you’d prefer Sam to dance around it all a little more.
“Dean.” It’s not a question. It’s a statement. You knew from the way your stomach dropped the second you saw them that this wasn’t a good news visit.
“I asked Cas to find you,” Sam said softly.
You and the younger Winchester have stayed in touch since you left the bunker, but you agreed you wouldn’t tell him where you were, and he wouldn’t ask. It was one thing for Dean to find out they were talking, but it’d be another entirely if he knew Sam knew where she was.
“What happened?” Your mind goes to the worst possible scenario, and you try to fight the rising nausea.
“Dean has been taking store bought suppressants,” Sam says, and you feel your blood boil.
“What? Why? Why would he be so goddamn stupid? Did he know what they’d do to an alpha in his situation?” you fume at the men as you pace the threadbare carpet.
“No. He knew they weren’t suitable long-term, but the side effects he experienced weren’t typical,” Cas answered.
“I thought it was a mix of the drugs and rejection sickness and that it’d ease over time,” Sam says calmly and quietly. “But I think he suffered some kind of chemical reaction to them, and by the time I found out what he was taking, it was too late.”
“Too late? Sam, what are you saying?” You’re terrified of what he’s so anxious to tell you.
“He’s feral, Y/N,” Cas finally puts you out of your misery, and while it’s bad news, it’s not the worst thing they could’ve told you. “But I don’t understand why you are not.”
It’s not an accusation. The angel is just curious about alphas who mate with but don’t claim omegas. To his literal knowledge, an alpha finds an omega, they mate, there’s a claim, an unbreakable bond, and pups. Your situation with Dean had always intrigued the celestial being.
“Because I’ve been taking the suppressants I should. Prescribed by a doctor. Why didn’t he do the same thing?” Contrary to the angel’s question, yours is accusatory as you look between Sam and Cas.
“You know what he’s like, Y/N. He doesn’t talk about these things, and I didn’t know until a few days ago. He’s been overcome with guilt for how he treated you, and I think…” Sam trails off, noticing from the look on your face that you know what he was alluding to.
“You think this is some kind of self-sacrifice?” you ask in disbelief. Dean is well known for his self-depreciation, and it’s something you’ve seen and heard from him many times, but this? “No… No, I don’t believe that. Why would he put himself through that just to go feral anyway? Why not just lie down and let it happen on its own?”
“You really want me to answer that?” Sam asks, and you frown.
“Sam, you can’t be serious! Dean is not doing this to punish himself for hurting me. There’s no way,” you argue, but you know the green-eyed alpha better than he knows himself. It does sound like something he’d do to himself—some kind of fucked up repentance for his behaviour.
Sam only shrugs, and you sigh, knowing you’ve both come to the same conclusion.
“So, what? You want me to go to him? Get him out of this mess?”
“You’re his mate. Only you can get him back from this,” Cas says, and you laugh bitterly, taking the angel by surprise.
“I bet Dean loves that!” you scoff. “Anytime I told him that like it or not, we’re mates, he shot me down in flames!”
“I know he hurt you, and I can’t imagine how hard this is for you, and Dean knows it too. He told me not to look for you. That he doesn’t deserve your help, but I’m asking you to think about it. Please?”
“I don’t know, Sam. If I go to him, you know what it means, right?” you check, not convinced either of them fully understand what they’re asking of you.
“I do,” Sam responds.
“And you know it’s pretty much a done deal that he’ll claim me in his feral haze? And then when he comes to, he’ll regret it and reject me? You’re asking me to sacrifice myself for him? Because I won’t survive his rejection, you both know that, right?”
“He’d never reject you, Y/N,” Cas confirms what you know in your heart, but it brings no comfort.
“Oh, because a forced claim and being stuck with someone who doesn’t want me is a better fate than dying from rejection!”
“He does want you. He loves you. He just can’t—” Sam starts, but you interrupt with a scoff.
“Give me what I want. I know, Sam. He’s told me that so many times it’s imprinted in my memory!” You huff, quickening your pacing.
You want to say no. You want to protect yourself and your fragile heart that’s still trying to heal, but you know if you were the feral one, Dean would already be here, doing everything he could to get you through it—even claiming you just so you’d survive.
He doesn’t deserve to die, and yet, you don’t deserve to be someone’s mistake, but you can’t see any other option. If you don’t go to him, he’ll die. If you go to him, and he doesn’t reject you, you’ll be miserable, but you’ll both be alive.
“Fuck!” you yell in frustration. Once again, you feel that self-loathing that only Dean seems able to bring out of you. You hate yourself because you still love him even after everything, and you’d sacrifice everything to save him.
“Where is he?”
Walking up to the secluded cabin, you shiver at the deathly silence surrounding you. As if being this deep in the woods isn’t ominous enough, there isn’t even a bird chirping or an insect buzzing in the heavy air.
You’re so deep in the woods that the midday sun can’t even breach the trees. You drove as close as you could, but you’d had to abandon your car about a mile back. This is probably the safest house Bobby had ever found, and you have to admire Dean for choosing this one to hide out in.
Sam had given you the key. At first, you’d been shocked he’d lock Dean in with no way to escape, but you knew feral alphas aren’t to be taken lightly. There had been cases of ferals going on murder sprees, and the green-eyed hunter would never risk putting people in any kind of danger.
“Dean?” you call out as you knock on the door. “It’s Y/N. Sam found me. He said you need my help.” With no response, you take a deep breath, preparing yourself for being too late, and put the key in the lock.
Pushing the door open slowly, the sour smell of Dean’s feral rut slams into you, and immediately your body begins to respond to the distressed alpha. Your skin tingles, heat floods your veins, and slick pools at your entrance. You’ve never been more grateful for a heat to come on as you are now. If it didn’t, Dean could seriously hurt or even kill you trying to get himself out of this.
“Omega,” Dean growls from the doorway of the bedroom and with one look at his bloodshot eyes, you know there’s little to no humanity in him right now.
“Alpha,” you whimper and bow your head in submission.
“Mine,” he groans in front of you, and you jump, having not heard him move across the room.
Dean buries his head in your neck and inhales your scent, gasping as if he’d been suffocating, and your scent is his oxygen.
“My ‘mega,” Dean snarls and slams you against the wooden door. You whimper at the pain and remind yourself not to fight. If you fight, things could get ugly.
Pawing at your jeans, he tries to undo them, but in his desperation to get at you, he can’t grasp the little brass button and punches the wall next to your head in frustration.
“Hey,” you purr, placing a hand on his cheek and smiling as he leans into your touch, “It’s okay, Alpha. Let me.”
Loosening the button and pulling the zipper down, you kick off your shoes, slide the denim from your legs and step out of them. Moving to your shirt, you begin pulling at the material when Dean slaps your hands away.
“No!” he growls. “Mine.”
Dean isn’t gentle when he claws at your shirt, grabbing the neckline with both hands and ripping the cotton from your body. The groan that rumbles from his belly when your lace-covered breasts are exposed to his gaze has slick soaking through your underwear.
He wastes no time placing his lips on the tops of your breasts, biting and sucking the sensitive skin, marking you in a way he never has before. Dean pulls the cups of your bra down and quickly finds a hard nipple, and you groan from his overzealous assault.
You whine as the alpha pulls away from you, but before you can complain further, Dean lifts you on his shoulder and carries you to the bedroom.
“Strip,” he orders as he places you back on your feet, and you don’t dare disobey or take your time removing your bra and panties.
“Good girl,” he praises as he takes his clothes off, and you wonder if just being here is making him a little less feral. “Get on the bed, Omega.”
Again, you don’t dare take your time and quickly crawl onto the bed and wait for his next instruction. Dean kneels at the bottom of the bed, pulls you down by your ankles, and pushes your knees down to the mattress.
“Mine,” he growls as the scent of your slick reaches him, and he lowers his head between your legs. He’s not gentle, anything but, and his longer stubble scratches and jabs at your soft, sensitive skin. It’s sore, yet you quickly fall apart on his mouth.
Before you fully come down from your high, Dean’s fingers are inside you, and he’s sucking and biting his way up your body. When this is over, your skin will be an interesting spectrum of colour; you can already see patches of red on your breasts from earlier, and Dean’s not done with them yet as he goes back to sucking and biting your nipples.
As your forced heat takes over, the pain from Dean’s bites and rough hands ease, and all you can feel and hear now is desire and pleasure and growls and snarls, and Dean, mumbling mine over and over again while his teeth nip at your neck.
“Present, Omega,” Dean growls as he pulls back from your body just enough to let you turn around. You crawl further up the bed and lean forward onto your elbows. You unintentionally wiggle your ass as you get comfortable in your new position, making Dean growl deeply and spank your round cheeks.
You feel his hands slide up your thighs and over your ass. His touch soothes and cools your heated skin. When he finally slams into your slick, aching pussy, it’s hard, rough, and deliciously painful.
Dean is fully feral, and there’ll be no stopping him until he comes out of the rut in five or six days. You know it won’t be pretty, and you won’t come out of this unscathed. At least your heat is making you feel like a wanton whore.
As your humanity is overtaken by omega, much like Dean’s is with alpha, your last thought is being grateful for being in a cabin in the middle of the woods, in the middle of nowhere.
It’s been six days, and Dean still pounds into you like there’s no tomorrow. Your heat is starting to wane, but hasn’t subsided so much that you won’t still be pliable under his hands. Still, at least the heat fog is beginning to lift, and you hope it’s a sign that Dean’s rut is finally ending.
It took four knots to get him out of his feral state, but his rut is intense, and he’s insatiable. You suppose the combination of suppressants and being feral will do that to an alpha.
“‘Mega,” Dean grunts as his hand slides up your spine and grips your neck. “So good for me, baby girl.”
His praise makes you purr, and you feel his hand slide from your neck into your hair and wrap his fist around it, making your body turn to jelly. Dean tugs your hair, and you’re forced to raise to your knees, your back pressed against his chest, and he pulls your head to the side by your hair, exposing your neck to him.
It’s already black and blue from the gnawing he’s been doing there this past week, but this is different. He’s scenting you and licking your mating gland and whining. Dean loves licking and kissing your neck, but not like this. It feels different. There’s a change in the atmosphere, and his thrusts are brutal and stuttered.
You try to move, try and get him away from you, but he snarls and yanks your hair painfully, keeping a hold of it so you can’t move.
“Dean,” you whimper, and he snarls again at the use of his name, and you know he’s not as far out of this rut as you’d hoped. “Alpha, please,” you beg, but it’s useless. He’s too far gone again. His mouth is sucking on your mating gland, and he’s growling and grunting as his knot swells and catches at your entrance.
“Please don’t do it, Alpha. It’s just the rut. You don’t want this… you don’t want me, please!” you cry. But as his knot slips inside, locking you together, your head falls back on his shoulder, and when his teeth break your skin, you scream your release and lose the little self-control you had earlier.
Coming down from your high, you notice that Dean is still latched onto you, and you can feel blood dripping down your neck. The sudden rush of hormones and pheromones from the claim makes you reach another orgasm, and this time, you take the alpha with you. Grunting and growling, Dean’s release coats your walls, and you let the blackness take over.
When you come to, you’re on your side, and Dean is cleaning and soothing the wound on your neck with gentle licks and soft kisses. You’re still locked together, and every twitch of his cock catches your G-spot and fills your womb with even more of his seed.
A brief thought that he could’ve gotten you pregnant crosses your mind, and you hope the fates aren’t so cruel as to have this be when you get your wish of pups; not like this.
The last week finally catches up with you, and the lullaby of Dean’s whines and whimpers, combined with his soft kisses, lull you into a deep sleep.
The sun’s warmth on your face begins to wake you from sleep. Your muscles feel heavy, and Dean’s lips caress your back and shoulders.
“Morning, Omega,” he rasps behind you, sliding a warm hand over your hip, and a pang of dread settles in your stomach. You’re tired, every muscle in your body is screaming at you, and your pussy is in agony from a week of rough pounding and knots courtesy of the alpha pulling you closer to his body. If he’s still not out of this rut, you don’t think you’ll survive another round.
“Don’t worry,” Dean chuckles. “I’m not feral anymore, and the rut has gone.”
You’re confused, wondering how he knew what you were thinking. You don’t think you groaned. In fact, you’re pretty sure you didn’t even move. Your body is too sore to even tense up.
Then you remember Dean claimed you and that he did it while in a feral rut.
As your whole world comes crashing down around you, you do the one thing you’d rather die than do in front of Dean.
Cry.
DEAN’S POV
Devastation. That’s all he can feel radiating from the omega next to him. When he woke an hour ago, he’d been happier than ever. The second he claimed Y/N, there was a shift, and all felt right in the world.
He thought—naively, he now realises—Y/N would be happy. It’s what she wanted. What she needed, but the sheer anguish from her tells a different story. The worst part of all this is the shame he feels for claiming her without her consent and the knowledge that now, she’s stuck with him whether she wants to be or not.
“Hey, sweetheart, it’s gonna be okay,” Dean tries to soothe her and presses his lips to her shoulder. “Y/N, look at me, please?” She remains on her side, facing away from him and crying, and the alpha in him takes over. His omega is in distress, and he needs to fix it. “Omega, look at me!” he growls lowly, and watches as Y/N obeys his order and timidly rolls onto her back.
Dean’s jaw drops, and he’s disgusted with himself as he takes in her abused torso. There are a couple of bites and bruises on her back and shoulders, but it’s nothing compared to what covers her neck, breasts and stomach. There’s so much bruising that barely any skin has been left unblemished. As he scans further down her body, he can see the same damage over the tops of her thighs and between her legs.
“Baby girl, I’m so sorry. I—” Dean can’t finish; he has no words for what he did to her. He immediately gets out of bed and fills the tub with hot water. There’s only so much he can do for her out here in the cabin, but the safe house is stocked with first aid supplies, medication and dry and tinned food.
When the tub is full, he shuts off the water and walks back into the bedroom, seeing Y/N still lying on her back and seemingly void of all emotion. Whether it’s on purpose to shut him out or she’s in shock, Dean’s not sure.
Walking over, Dean lifts her from the bed and carries her into the bathroom. He lowers her into the hot water and bathes her gently, mumbling words of comfort, hoping she can hear him and that she can find it in her to forgive him.
Y/N’S POV
After tenderly bathing you, Dean left you to soak in the warm water a little longer, telling you there were clothes in the wardrobe and that he’d make something to eat.
“Please eat with me, omega. You need to get your strength up, and we need to talk,” Dean had begged before he left, closing the door but not fully so he could still keep an eye on you.
He was right; you do need to talk. And eat. You feel weak and lightheaded and desperately in need of something to take away the pain that’s pulsing through every inch of your body.
When the water has lost its warmth, you climb out and wrap yourself in a towel, avoiding the mirror in the corner. Dean’s reaction earlier is enough for you to know you’ll burst into tears if you see it for yourself. And you can’t bear to see his claim on your neck when it was given under duress.
Pulling clothes from the wardrobe, you choose the softest and biggest things you can find. You know from the smell that the sweats and t-shirt are Dean’s, but you’ve always gotten comfort from his scent, and you suspect you’ll get even more from it now.
Coming out of the bedroom, you follow the noise towards the main part of the cabin and find Dean spooning pasta into bowls in the kitchen.
“How are you feeling, sweetheart?” he asks, stopping what he’s doing to give you his full attention.
“Sore,” you chuckle, pulling out a stool. You hiss and wince, the throbbing—and not the good kind—between your legs getting worse for a few seconds as you sit.
“I’m sorry, Y/N. I didn’t mean… I hate that I was so rough. That I’ve hurt you,” Dean says as he pushes a bowl and fork towards you.
“You were feral, Dean. It’s not your fault,” you reply, and you mean it. It’s really not his fault.
“It is, though, sweetheart. If I had taken the right suppressants, I wouldn’t have gone feral, and I wouldn’t have claimed you without your consent.”
“I knew what I was signing up for when I came here. I’m just sorry you’re stuck with me,” you smile sadly. “And if you want to leave, I get it. I know I’m not what you want—”
“Would you stop saying that?” Dean interrupts. “I do want you. I have always wanted you. I’m scared that tying you to me will put you in danger.” The desperation rolls from him in waves, and you know he’s telling you the truth. You can feel it. “I want you, Omega. I want this. I don’t regret claiming you. I regret doing it against your will, and if you want to leave me… reject me… It’s what I deserve, and I’ll let you walk out of here right now, but please stop saying that I don’t want you, Y/N. You’re all I want.”
The chemical bond you now share with Dean is overwhelming. He feels more deeply than he ever lets on, and regret over the non-consensual claim is putting it mildly. He’s distraught over it, and his feelings are so strong that you can almost hear the thoughts in his head telling him he’s stupid and he’s fucked things up before it’s really started between you. You can’t take it. You can’t let him think you don’t want this too.
“You’re all I want too, Alpha. The reason I got so upset when I realised you could feel how I felt is because it was a rut claim, and we’d be stuck together and miserable and resentful, and I didn’t want that for either of us, but I could never reject you, Dean. I love you too much.”
The relief that washes over him makes you smile, and because of your new bond, you know he knows every word is true.
“I love you, Y/N. I’m sorry I couldn’t admit it before, and I’m sorry I didn’t give you what you wanted sooner.” Dean slides off his stool and comes to your side with a tube of cream in his hand. “Now, let me see that claim. It needs something on it, sweetheart.”
You tilt your head to the side and pull the neck of the shirt down, exposing the angry, swollen bite mark. Dean gently covers the wound with the medicated cream, and you hiss at the sting.
“Sorry, baby girl.” Dean winces, feeling your discomfort as clearly as you can. “Now, eat and then bed, Omega.”
“Just to sleep, right?” you ask, scrunching up your face and wriggling in your seat at the thought of him going anywhere near your pussy for at least a week. “No sex?”
“No sex,” Dean laughs. “You need to rest, sweetheart, so just lots of cuddles and closeness and bonding and sleep.”
THE END

ok. coming to you live from the afformentioned bus
anyway i THINKKKKKK the idea of like. cas not being able to come back from the dead might not be true??? or well. somethings coming back. i actually have no idea if it would be anything resembling cas or
i think so?? probably. we'll go with yes. i'm the author here i should know this crap
OH MY GOD
#for context um#so basically the cas we know is a very small fragment of a greater being#like a tiny chunk from a bigger pot of playdoh basically?? which is how hes able to change mass so easy#its just. taking more playdoh out or putting more in#but if said afformentioned fragment dies or is destroyed or whatever i think the rest of him would remain#probably??#well its like. oh i LOVE talking myself out of ideas here#i think depending on how he dies or is destroyed or whatever. probably. PROBABLY another fragment could just get created#its certainly not an infinite source and it would mean the more it happened the less shapeshifting lenience that fragment would be allowed#BUT BOY IS IT SOMETHING. OK.#anyway rant over get back to your day

Halloween AU:
Bruce: a werbat
Can shapeshift into a bat by the light of the moon. Think vampire but without the sun and garlic allergies and without the need to drink blood.
Dick: some horror creature with no bones
He’s light and bendy that allows him to do inhuman acrobatics
Jason: a goul
A zombi like creature that needs to eat flesh to survive (so a carnivore)
Tim: a ghost
Tim died to neglect. No one goes to his room so one day when his parent where out of town and they forgot to hire someone to take care of Tim, he ran out of food. For comfort he curled up in a hidden cubby he discovered in his closet. Tim never made it out of his cubby hole.
Tim became a ghost, ghost are tangible unlike the transparent pop culture depiction. Ghost Tim was there to greet his parents, no one noticed he died.
With nothing better to do Tim watched his body decompose in the cubby hole in the closet.
When he joins the Waynes he doesn’t tell them that he’s died. As far as the Waynes are aware Tim is a normal human boy.
Damian: a nature spirit
Can communicate with animals. Can get animals to do his bidding but he doesn’t like to override the will of the animal so be usally avoids that
Cas: a blood witch
Was trained from an early age to use combat spells and curse.
Steph: a Jackle (I think that’s what the creature I’m thinking of is called)
A wer dog like creature. She can choose any bread of dog to shift into. It comes in handy on missions to choose what kind of dog. Her favorite shift is a golden retriever.
Duke: Will of the wisp
Has a human form though prefers to stay in his ball of light form
Barbra: a tech sprite
Can travel between devices. Has a holographic form when outside of technology. Can literally surf through information

Summary: When Castiel Novak inherits an ancient plot of land in Scotland from his uncle, he leaps at the chance to move as far away from his past as possible. The place is charming, even if it has quirks, but best of all, nobody knows anything about him. It’s… mostly perfect. The only snag is the patch of woods on the land and the strange way nobody will talk about them. When spite leads Castiel into the Aikenwood despite the warnings, the very last thing he expects to find there is a knight named Dean in a bower full of roses. He’s handsome even if he’s also irritating and, despite himself, Cas is oddly charmed by him. He finds himself drawn back to the wood again and again, but there are stranger powers at work than just a knight and a few roses. A little digging reveals that most who enter the Aikenwood don’t come out again, and Dean isn’t all he appears to be. With their lives and feelings tangling like vines, Castiel soon finds he must do everything he can to save Dean from an impossible fate that threatens to tear them apart forever. But the truth has both roses and thorns, and Cas isn’t sure which he’s going to find if he succeeds…

Dress to Impress CAS challenge by @circusjuney
Prompt: Mythology
Selkies, for those unfamiliar, are shapeshifters common to Scottish and Irish folklore. They're said to be seal-folk who, on the night of a full moon, can shed their skins and take human form.
Legend has it that a man who steals a female selkie's skin can make her his wife, but she will spend her life longing for the sea. Once she finds her skin, she dons it and returns to the sea as a seal, never to be seen again.

Loki can’t help the snort of amusement that escapes him. Anyone else would have responded with disappointment – since it is painfully (pun intended) obvious that the god is responsible, rather than the curled up Midgardian on the alley floor – but instead Castiel focuses on the facts at hand. Perhaps – and here’s a novel idea – the angel actually isn’t disappointed in him.
“Alright Professor – take that up with whoever came up with the slang; I just use it.” A disgusted face (because Loki doesn’t particularly want to dwell on thoughts of this man’s balls) followed by a shrug. “Anatomically impossible for you, perhaps: some of us are just more flexible than everyone else.”
@emeraldxphoenix ;; some meme somewhere Loki said: “I still maintain that he kicked himself in the balls.”
"THAT IS ANATOMICALLY IMPOSSIBLE," HE POINTS OUT. "And balls is a terrible slang word for testicles. They're not ball-shaped. If at all, they look more like eggs. It makes more sense, too, because eggs grow a baby bird or reptile inside them, and testicles grow at least one half of what you need to make a new human."
#congratulations on your language making more sense than english#for one word at least xD not sure the same can be said for the rest#cas he's either joking or lying he cannot kick himself in the balls#saying that though he can shapeshift so he actually probably could#this is just chaos this thread already i can feel it#qapsiel#v: i'm no sweet dream but i'm a hell of a night

WIP excerpt for lottie behind the cut; a pocketful of Kons. (( chrono || non-chrono ))
But also . . . maybe it’s not him, or maybe he’s just hiding his Pockets somehow, or maybe he’s really hurt. Is there something that can hurt someone bad enough to affect their Pockets? Cas seems fine, at least, so . . . well, if Superman is hurt, Cas would be the one who got hurt, wouldn’t he? Cassie’s fine, and as far as she knows so is Superman’s other soulmate, whoever she is.
Unless she died in Doomsday’s attack. Did that happen? Is that why Cassie woke up to a Pocket of him? Because he lost his other soulmate?
Is that why his face looked so empty on the feed earlier? That might explain some things, if . . .
So–he does need her, if his other soulmate is dead. If he lost her.
So she was right. She can’t reject Cas. Can’t neglect or ignore him into fading. Can’t . . .
Superman needs her, if that’s true. If he lost one soulmate and died himself, and then immediately woke up alive again to a new one? What else could that even mean, if that’s what happened?
It has to mean something, she thinks.
She wouldn’t abandon anyone like that, much less another superhero. Much less anybody like Superman. He has enough power to do, like, anything, and all he ever wants to do is help people.
How could she reject him after that, especially if he just lost another soulmate?
No way. Just–no way. Never.
“Cassie will neither be meeting Kal nor be left alone with him,” Diana says. “The Watchtower is currently locked down and will not accept his access codes, until the League can be certain as to whether or not he has returned, and if he has been in any way compromised or injured by the methods of said return.”
“There could be a supervillain puppeting his dead body around,” Mom says. “Or it’s just a shapeshifter, or an android, or who knows what!”
“She just said they were being careful, Mom!” Cassie snaps at her, clutching Cas to her neck defensively and trying not to bristle. “It’s not like they’re inviting him up for a pizza party and handing over all the security codes!”
Cas chirps worriedly, and Cassie tries not to tighten her grip on him. Tries not to raise her voice any more or shout again or–
“I think it’s perfectly clear he can’t be trusted at this point, and the fact you’re even intending to hear him out is appalling, Diana,” Mom says sharply, and Cassie absolutely fails not to shout again.
“You don’t even know what he’s thinking, Mom!” she yells at her, and Diana sets a steadying, soothing hand on her shoulder.
“Cassie,” she says gently. “Helena is only concerned for your well-being. And Helena, Cassie is a capable warrior in her own right, and will not be left alone until we are certain as to whether or not Kal has returned, and as to his mental state and intentions if he has.”
“I don’t give a damn about that man’s mental state,” Mom says, clenching her fists, and Cassie feels so frustrated she could actually just scream. Cas hugs her tighter with a worried little chitter, though, and that . . . that’s . . .
She doesn’t want to upset him. Doesn’t want him hurt or worried or afraid.
She doesn’t want to let him down.
She–exhales, slowly, and pets down Cas’s back.
Cas needs her. Superman might even need her, at this point, which is . . . a very weird thought, but still not something she’s going to ignore. She became a superhero to help people, and just because Superman’s her soulmate and a little on the old side doesn’t mean she’s gonna blow him off. Like–it is weird, yeah, it’s really weird and kind of uncomfortable and she doesn’t know what to think about it, but–but that’s not her mom’s business, and she can figure it out for herself. And–and Superman won’t be–
He’s Superman. He’s her soulmate. And more than that, he’s Cas, who she can’t even begin to imagine ever hurting her. If Cas is who he is at the center of himself, if Cas is his real soul–how could she ever imagine someone like that hurting her? At least–not on purpose, at least. Not deliberately.
“I do,” she says tightly. “He’s my soulmate, Mom. I’m not gonna abandon him. But it doesn’t even matter right now anyway, because he’s not on the Watchtower. This is, like, Justice League stuff.”
“And you expect me to just trust that?! Trust that no one will let him in or leave you unprotected?!” Mom demands, clenching her fists again, and Cassie bristles again, and she just–she doesn’t know why her mom will never just listen. Never just trust her, never just believe her, never just–
“Helena, my friend. I give you my word that I will not,” Diana says gently, and Mom–grimaces, and then looks away, folding her arms. She still looks frustrated, but . . .
“I’m holding you to that,” Mom says, her voice tight.
Of course Mom would listen to anyone but her, Cassie thinks, her chest clenching painfully. Of course she wouldn’t trust her word.
She grits her teeth for a moment, then just–fine. It’s fine. Whatever. If Mom lets her out of the house without being a jerk about it or upsetting Cas again, that’s all that matters right now anyway. The Justice League needs to know what’s going on so they can figure out how to help Superman, and that’s the important thing here. She’s not gonna let him down by getting stuck going around and around in a stupid argument for the next hour when he needs her up there.
“I’ll keep you informed,” Diana says to Mom, and Cassie dodges it when Mom reaches out in an attempt to put a hand on her arm and touch her, and just–heads for the door, her own hands still wrapped tight around Cas as he peers back over her shoulder with a soft little chirp of concern.
Superman’s not a bad person. She can’t believe someone who Cas came from could ever be bad. But even if he were, it’s not like Diana and the whole stupid Justice League won’t be up there to deal with him until they can help him with–whatever’s got his face looking the way it looks right now. Whatever brought him back, but might not’ve brought his original Pocket back with him.
She just wishes her mom would trust her for once.
She doesn’t understand why that’s so hard for her to do.
