The process aims to purify the entire alimentary canal, promoting detoxification and enhancing digestive functions. Shankhaprakshalana is believed to eliminate toxins, rejuvenate the body, and restore balance. It demands discipline and is usually done under expert guidance. Ayurvedic Meditation Techniques: Arogyanivesh
Ayurveda, the ancient system of medicine from India, emphasizes a holistic approach to health, integrating body, mind, and spirit. One of its essential components is meditation, which plays a crucial role in promoting mental clarity, emotional balance, and overall well-being. Arogyanivesh, a term that can be translated to mean "well-being" or "health establishment," encompasses various meditation techniques that align with Ayurvedic principles. In this article, we’ll explore some effective Ayurvedic meditation techniques that can enhance your mental and physical health.
Understanding Arogyanivesh
Arogyanivesh is not just about the absence of disease; it’s about cultivating a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being. Ayurveda teaches that our health is influenced by a harmonious balance of the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—and that meditation can be a powerful tool to maintain or restore this balance.
Key Ayurvedic Meditation Techniques
Trataka (Candle Gazing)Trataka is a practice that involves focusing the gaze on a candle flame. This technique helps improve concentration, enhances mental clarity, and calms the mind. To practice:
Sit comfortably in a quiet space.
Place a candle at eye level about 3 feet away.
Light the candle and focus on the flame without blinking for as long as possible.
After you can no longer maintain your focus, gently close your eyes and visualize the flame in your mind.
This practice not only sharpens focus but also helps in purifying the mind and preparing it for deeper meditation.
Shankhaprakshalana (Kriya for Cleansing)This technique involves a series of yoga asanas combined with specific breathing practices to cleanse the digestive system. It can also serve as a meditative practice when approached mindfully.
Start with a series of yoga postures that promote flexibility and digestion.
Incorporate conscious breathing, focusing on inhalation and exhalation to center the mind.
Visualize each breath as a wave of cleansing energy, washing away impurities.
This practice enhances physical well-being and induces a meditative state of awareness.
Anahata Meditation (Heart-Centered)Anahata, or heart chakra meditation, focuses on the center of love and compassion within us. This technique helps foster emotional healing and compassion towards oneself and others.
Find a quiet place and sit comfortably.
Close your eyes and take deep breaths, bringing awareness to your heart area.
Visualize a warm, glowing light radiating from your heart, expanding with each breath.
Repeat affirmations like “I am love” or “I am at peace,” allowing them to resonate with your heart center.
This meditation promotes emotional balance and a deeper connection with oneself and others.
Pranayama (Breath Control)Pranayama is the practice of controlling breath and is often considered a precursor to meditation. By regulating breath, we can influence our energy levels and mental state.
Practice techniques such as Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing) or Bhramari (bee breath) to calm the mind and energize the body.
Focus your awareness on the breath, observing its rhythm and sensations.
This practice prepares the mind for meditation and enhances concentration.
Guided VisualizationGuided visualization in Ayurveda often incorporates elements of nature and the doshas, aiming to create a balance within. This technique can be particularly helpful for those new to meditation.
Find a comfortable position and close your eyes.
Listen to a guided meditation that incorporates Ayurvedic principles, such as visualizing a serene natural landscape that aligns with your dominant dosha.
Allow the imagery to evoke feelings of tranquility and harmony within.
This practice is effective for reducing stress and enhancing mental clarity.
Conclusion
Arogyanivesh is a holistic approach to health that emphasizes the importance of meditation in achieving balance and well-being. By incorporating these Ayurvedic meditation techniques into your daily routine, you can cultivate a deeper connection with yourself, enhance your mental clarity, and promote overall health. Remember, consistency is key—regular practice can lead to profound changes in your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Embrace these techniques, and allow them to guide you on your journey towards optimal health and harmony.

I’m all logic today (I feel soooo dull)
Tumblr media
I’m writing it to myself in the future to try to communicate this dull feeling I am now experiencing... It’s nothing special but logic and conditional reaction and it’s filthy...
I feel being a compost plant, lol
..filled with biomass I put in
Well, I just helped my son with preparing some vegetarian food for a birthday party, so I tasted some. I didn’t consume any alcohol, neither I took any stuff (I would be much better off eating some mushies instead of this kinda delicious cuisine, blargh)
It feels warm and comfortable. Body wants nothing.. The environment is homey and friendly and it is disgusting!
I’m now seriously considering simply washing that out of my body completely by doing Shankhaprakshalana....
Tomorrow is a local fair day and I want to be brisk and intelligible rather than being stuck by processing all that.
Tumblr media
Remember
thermally processed food is for swelling and dumbness. It just turns one’s bio-chem lab on which in turn utilizes one’s brainpower to coordinate the sophisticated digestion process instead of subconsciously connecting one’s psyche to what’s important;
Being full is for oily skin, acne, smell and kidney issues. Being stuffed is like being stuck, dull and blind, like wearing a blindfold, almost like being drunk, but no fun, lol;
milk and cheese is for joint ache;
pastry is for slime and headache. pathogenic microflora loves that
sugary food is for parasites and eye twitching.
Rawism basically is a business need for this condition. It primarily is not about body but the mindset. I just have to be as smart as I could possibly be to face the unknown and talk to all these intelligent people about the things that are new to me:
lead generation
marketing strategy
partnership
international business development
Good news
I won some allies. So far I conducted two productive video-interviews (out of four or five, lol). Oh, my how awful it looks on record.. There’s indisputably an opportunity for growth.
Tomorrow I’d ideally like to meet a twenty-something girl I met last week. That is enough motive to just turn into a raw food eater.
Yes, I’ll do Shankhaprakshalana right now to clean the windscreen up and save the brain power...

Shankhaprakshalana - DAY 1
I’m trying to go vegan - Ariams adventure
WOOOW! Today was an interesting day. I woke up early and arrived at the Yoga and Meditation center in Stockholm at 08.00 sharp only to leave around 15.00. I basically had 18 glasses of saltwater that found it’s way out when I visited the toilet after doing multiple stretching exercises. After I was done I received some boiled rice with beans and ghee. Be aware that this process is one that needs commitment for 40 days. Going through the cleansing procedure was intense yet managable. However, it has healthy benefits. I recommend that you do some research before deciding to go through with it.

What is Shankhaprakshalana?
“Shankhaprakshalana is one of the major hatha yoga practices, coming under the heading of dhauti kriya, it is also known as varisara dhauti. Dhauti refers to 'internal washing' and vari means 'water'. Generally the term shankhaprakshalana is applied, shankha meaning 'conch', because of its resemblance to the stomach and intestines; prakshalana meaning 'cleaning'.
Shankhaprakshalana is not just a practice concerning the stomach and intestines, but is a thorough cleansing technique. It creates a repair action which affects the lungs, nervous system, skin, sinus area, the whole body, continuing while the person follows the regime of special food and asanas. In this way we see the reduction of so many disease conditions, diabetes being the most notable, and a positive step in the direction of good health.” Source: http://www.yogamag.net/archives/1982/isep82/conch.shtml

Ein Yoga-Leitfaden zur Reinigung Ihres Inneren #Yoga

HOW IS WASTED ENERGY AND HOW TO SAVE.
The main reasons for energy losses at the level of the physical body:
- Energiestrategie posture: slouching, kyphosis or excessive looseness in body position. - Diseases, especially chronic and accompanied by pain or any other negative effects. Unconscious muscle clamps. - Sharp and chaotic motion, unconsciously mimicking the nearby energy vampire: the majority of disco dancing, unconscious imitation of the gait and body posture of another person.
The main reasons for energy losses at the level of the etheric body:
- Improper breathing: no rhythmic breathing, breath longer exhalation (normally should be Vice versa), mouth breathing, etc. - The lack of contact with nature and fresh air. - Identification with the state of low energy of tone and the impression that weakness will last forever.
The main reasons for energy losses at the level of the astral body:
- Negative emotions: aggression, anger, envy, lust, depression, pessimism, discouragement, etc. - Conflicting desires tearing the person apart. - Internal conflicts involving emotions, addiction, attachment, etc. - Unresolved problems in the past. - Emotional trauma and clips. Negative emotions of other people to person. Not a healthy sleep or sleep disorders: insomnia, nightmares, excessive or insufficient sleep, sleep not in the allotted time, e.g., day, late rise and late to go to sleep.
The main reasons for energy losses at the level of the mental body:
- Restless mind, an excessive amount of thoughts and the inability to realize oneself is not identified with them. - Negative thoughts leading to negative emotions. Excessive immersion in his own dreams and daydreams. - Thinking that you do not have a value, for example, the solution of the problems of the distant future or thoughts about the past.
The accumulation of energy at the level of the physical body:
- Healthy lifestyle: daily routine, food, exercise and sleep. Healthy food and refusal of intoxication - Cure diseases, or at least some advancement along the way. - Use of different cleansing: fasting, decoctions of herbs, yoga cleansing methods (shankhaprakshalana, Gajah Kriya, etc.), cleaning the liver, kidneys, blood, lymph, etc. - Practice relaxation meditation to relieve muscle clips (see the books Jose Silva or Nidra yoga). - Practice Eastern disciplines: Hatha yoga, tai Chi Chuan, tai Chi, qigong, etc.
The accumulation of energy at the level of the etheric body:
- Awareness of breath and mild attempts to guide him in the right direction: breathing nose, not the mouth, exhale longer than the inhale, etc. - Life in harmony with nature and frequent exposure to fresh air. - Ability to remain calm while lowering the tone and not to identify ourselves with him. - Practice of various energy disciplines involving concentration on the chakras and other points of the body to master subtle energy.
The accumulation of energy at the level of the astral body:
- Ability to maintain high spirits almost constant, regardless of the circumstances and events in life. - Overcoming addiction to negative emotions. You can use various psychological and spiritual practices. - Study of emotional tension and injury. Emotional openness and positive interaction with people. - Cessation of communication with negative people and energy vampires. - Development of the divine love for all beings.
The accumulation of energy at the level of the mental body:
- Practice meditation, Trataka, awareness of their thoughts throughout the day. - Stop do not need negative thoughts. - Monitoring of thoughts and as a result, the ability to restaurantsthe yourself with thoughts (understand that I'm not thought). - Understanding of what each idea entails karmic consequences.
