What if we get like an internal monologue of just how much Sevika is into you? Like if it’s her first day as counselor and she sees you walking around the halls helping out as an assistant. She can’t help but think reader is so damn cute! Maybe even reader flirts a little from afar <3
Pretty Piltie ⋆˚✿

Tumblr media Tumblr media
After her first day on the council, she saw you in the hallway, walking around with your clipboard in your face. (Definitely in a hurry)
She raised an eyebrow at the pep in your step and the carelessness of you flipping through pages while walking. Before she could even move to the side, you bumped into her.
"I'm so sorry," You looked up at her with an embarrassed look on your face, "I thought the halls would be empty."
She couldn't even get a word out before your eyes widened, "Shit. The meeting is over, isn't it?"
You scurried to the doors she just came from, and she almost laughed at your actions. Even after the exasperating meeting she had a smile graced her lips.
Well, I could get used to that.
When she got home, her mind flashed back to the girl she encountered in the hallway, furrowing her brows. She tried to rid of the image. Maybe she was just thinking about it because it's the only exciting thing that occurred today. Yeah, that's it.
The next week, she had to come back for a second meeting, this time staying back longer to discuss things in finer details. A couple of councilors have already up and left as it was getting late.
After a few minutes, she saw you walk in with one of the council members. You had a nervous smile on your face while the older woman spoke to you.
Sevika let out a snort at your expression, finding it to be oddly cute but containing herself moments later. Although she couldn't stop eyeing you when you stood behind the councilors chair just across from her.
You were scrawling out things on your clipboard while the grey-haired woman in front of you spoke. Sevika was only half listening as her eyes bored into your face, taking in all your features.
I mean, who knew Piltover had princesses like this.
Suddenly, you looked up to make eye contact with Sevika, her brows 5 she averted eye contact to look at the woman in front of you.
She saw your smile from the corner of her vision when she looked away. Fuck.
It seemed like every time you looked away she stared back at you, she didn't come here to eye-fuck her co-workers assistant but damn.
She watched the way you tilted your head when hearing something strange, or raised your eyebrows at something controversial, bending over to whisper something in the ear of your boss.
All in all she was definitely lost in thought when someone called her name, "Sevika!"
She looked over at the woman beside her who spoke, "Shall I repeat myself? I say, what are your thoughts on this matter?"
Sevika blanked. She racked her brain for an answer but the only one it was coming up with was the curve of your smile and the hue of your eyes.
She saw your surprised face and you mouthed something to her, "Say you agree."
She coughed into her fist before speaking, "I suppose that's fine."
The others looked at her suspiciously but carried on nonetheless. Throughout the rest of the meeting she made sure to pay close attention, so that she wouldn't slip up Infront of her co-workers again.
When the meeting was dismissed she was the last to leave, running her hand down her face in a way to ease her mind. She took a deep breath before stepping into the hall.
She was greeted with the sight of you talking to a few advisors, taking notes, and handing out papers. She found it endearing the way you bounced from person to person, engaging in conversation.
It seemed like you were taking peoples opinions for your survey. This was her chance to redeem herself. (She's embarrassed you had to help her earlier.
After speaking with an unfamiliar lanky man, you turned around and locked eyes with Sevika once again.
You waved at her, flashing her a cute grin. But before you could take a step towards her, your boss was calling her away.
Immediately, you deadpanned and pulled your lips into an exaggerated frown. Sevika smirked at your expressions and flicked her hand teasingly in a shoo, motion.
She would most definetly be seeing you again.

And yes I’m gonna be 500% delusional and say that YES, Mel and Sevika DID meet. Mel recognized that Sevika was a prominent figure in Zaun at that burning paper memorial and using her beautiful partially manipulative green eyed powers, she convinced Sevika to take her spot on the council because she “can never return to that life” because of what she is now.
And YES, Sevika reluctantly accepted—mostly because she knew it would be the best way to get Zaun what it needs, but also because she was DEFINITELY intrigued by Mel’s fine pure 14k gold ASS.
Sevika took one look at Mel and was like “Damn, they was making them like this up here? I shoulda came sooner.”
And yes they’re long distance girlfriends while Mel travels to figure out her powers and Sevika has her desk job as a Zaunite-Piltovan Counselor with dual citizenship and a nice apartment. And YES Mel comes back to visit her several times a year and brings her gifts from her travels.

the lanes are build upon loyalty, it's literally the vein that keeps the heart of the place standing, the way the council doesnt see it is insane.
from the very beginning they show that. Vanders first words we hear in the series are literally him showing loyalty and then, when threatened, the lanes showing him loyalty right back. betrayal always comes with loyalty, that doesnt stop it from existing though and thats what the council fails to see, always.
they see betrayal but they dont see the loyalty that has to come before that. they want to sit in their chairs up high and think they are better but they betray each other too. it's shown throughout the entire show. they just have DIFFERENT opportunities to betray and backstab.
marcus even said himself that "there is a crime behind every coin" in the undercity and the irony will for ever be that it was his crime that gave him a bloody coin.
the council is full of those coins they just have the water to wash the blood off.
ignorance at its finest truly.

In my opinion Silco’s goal being a righteous one works so well with all the evil stuff he does in service of that ultimate noble dream of “liberation for Zaun” and it is quite interesting to see because for him every action is deeply calculate with that objective in mind, a very fascinating exercise on does the end justify the means?
I think is important to understand why he does things, like he doesn’t sell drugs just to become rich, (comparatively to other chem-barons he doesn't seem particularly ostentatious in any way nor him nor the people that work for him or his own daughter); he sells shimmer in an effort to have complete political power and control over Zaun with the ultimate goal of using that power to unite the undercity and fight against piltover oppression.
He doesn’t kill Vander because he is resentful and wants revenge, he does it because Vander has been fully assimilated by the system, as Silco sees it he is no longer a protector or leader for the undercity, in his effort to protect his kids he becomes another pawn for piltover. Silco can forgive whatever happened between them but he can’t forgive Vander’s betrayal of Zaun.
Silco is brutal and ruthless but it is not like he is sadistic and enjoys the violence, he understands the violence is necessary to become a force so big that piltover can no longer ignore the plight of Zaun AND IT WORKS! You can hate his actions and disagree I don’t think it is necessary to agree but it is to valuable to understand where those actions come from and what that violence is used for. At the end of the day his methods worked perfectly, he got everything he wanted BECAUSE OF THAT VIOLENCE, because of the fear he managed to instill on Piltover or by becoming impossible to ignore. Every choice, every horrendous action, every person he killed or ruined on his way there was in favor of that goal and it worked. Sure, you can think he also had his own selfish goals, some people even interpret it as wanting to "own" Zaun, but that doesn't make the oppression of Piltover any less real or the goal of liberation from that oppression any less necessary.
I also think it is interesting to see Ekko in contrast to Silco because in Ekko we see a more sanitized version of him, he could be considered a "good revolutionary". Him and the Firelights help and protect their people and the only violence they practice is against Silco, which in itself is really funny as a goal because what does this actually accomplish against the higher overarching problem of piltover oppression? Nothing, pitlover doesn't even know Ekko exists, by all means his fight against Silco is beneficial to piltover even if he doesn't realize it. Something also intriguing to me is how Ekko as the "good revolutionary" according to the writing tries to take out the one person who is actually offering any real resistance to piltover oppression and this gets proven when after Silco's death the undercity gets brutalized by pitlover because there is nothing stopping them anymore, there is no force to be afraid of, no one really to offer resistance, EVEN the Firelights. As for Ekko he doesn't even get to fully say his piece to his oppressors and actually ends up working as a redemption arc to Himmerdinger who as chief of piltover's council for near 200 years was responsible for the horrible situation on the undercity that led to the suffering Ekko and his people were experiencing, it wasn't even Silco's fault in that regard.
It is funny how much of the writing is very counter-revolutionary (not that it is surprising sadly) but at the same time Silco’s logic, reasoning and ways get vindicated and proven right by the end, his only failure was not his political ideas or his methods but that he gentle parented too hard but oh well can’t hate a man for loving his daughter I guess

Sevika took off her arm. the one Jinx carved her symbol into. she probably made Sevika that arm as a backup, just in case, so Sevika would never be without one. maybe she even made it knowing she might not be there one day (cause Isha made her better, but clearly didn't cure her. and I think she knew that).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
amongst other things, do you think she did it out of grief? did she do it because she could not carry a reminder of her girl on her body? because it hurt too bad to remember this was the last thing he girl ever made for her, or put her mark on? that there would be no more crayon and carvings and explosions and color? no more arms made from her hands?
or was it because the arm was precious to here, and she couldn't let anything happen to it, couldn't risk it being damaged, because that was the last piece of her kid that she would ever get? she couldn't bring herself to wear it, because of all the possibilities for something to go wrong?
maybe it's both. maybe the pain is just all consuming. the fear and the worry and the denial all wrap up into one thick, suffocating feeling, that she doesn't know how to deal with. so she leaves the arm behind. she doesn't look at it, not when she can't risk breaking down. not when she can't spend a moment tracing her fingers over the carving and morning what she's lost without so much as a goodbye.

I'm stealing this from my lit teacher but he posed that something certain characters in arcane s2 missed were 'Zuko Alone' moments. Moments where characters took an extended amount of time to introspect, face the consequences of their actions, and connect with the wider world. This, to me, is why Caitlyn's arc wasn't as effective as it could've been. After a switch-up, after a big 180 like hers, it is simply necessary to track the progression of her arc. It's easy to say "In hating you, I've hated myself" and "no amount of good deeds can undo our crimes" but when you don't see her face the Zaunites or acknowledge the class-privileges she exploited, it all rings a little hollow. Arcane usually does a good job of tying the personal with the political and I think that's hidden in Cait's arc. She works as a character when you're understanding her actions in relation to her love for Vi and forgiveness of Jinx. She doesn't if you think of it on a wider socio-political scale. It's just a little odd when the show is such an arbiter of 'show don't tell'. That line has to do alot of heavy lifting. Alas, what time restraints does to an arc.

Reasons why Jinx is alive– A fully comprehensive evidence analysis
Right. So I've seen a lot of people with conflicting views on if Jimx survived at the end of Arcane season 2, and I have been itching to do a meta post on the subject, so here it goes!
The first piece of evidence that I found particularly noteworthy was the explosion itself. By going frame by frame it was possible to see this:
Tumblr media
It's a blink and you miss it kind of scene, but this is right after the explosion, and you can see the clear pink line going into one of the vents. Now why is this important? Well, it's simple, it's the shimmer effect that happens when Jinx is moving very fast! I know that Warwick was holding onto Jinx, but in a explosion its perfectly plausible for her to get out of that grip using the explosion of her monkey bomb.
Then we have the scene where Caitlyn is inspecting the plans for the Hexgates.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is literally no reason for her to look at these plans. Not unless she thought there was something she missed...
There's no dialogue here, so it's really just based on what she does and how she reacts. Most notably what she's holding.
Tumblr media
It's the head of one of Jinx's notorious monkey bombs. What's more, it's clearly damaged and singed. So likely this is the very same monkey bomb Jinx used in the Hexgates. This also suggests that Caitlyn might have been searching for evidence of Jinx's dead body... and clearly didn't find it for her to be holding Jinx's bomb head and then searching on the plans. Which brings me to the focus changing to this:
Tumblr media
The vents we see the streak of pink shimmer light go inside correlate to the plans as shown above. The vents connect to the air ducts which connect to the outside. After this, the camera goes back to Caitlyn and we see her look at the monkey bomb head and then smile.
Then we get to the most telling piece of evidence that Jinx survived and left Zaun and Piltover behind, which is definitely a controversial choice on the writers part and does come across that they just want the option to bring in Jinx whenever they want in later stories taking place in Noxus, Ionia and Demacia. Which is very Marvel like lol. This is namely the air blimp at the end shot of the show.
What I find interesting is the fact it mirrors exactly the very first time we see Powder in episode 1 of Arcane season 1 when we see one of these air blimps.
The difference in these shots is that the one from season one is going TOWARDS Piltover, and the one from end of season 2 is going AWAY across the sea. The only difference in the ships themselves is the streak of blue you can just about see on the side of the hull. Maybe a further hint that Jinx is indeed on board that blimp.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Obviously it is what Powder says about the air blimp in season one that truly gives some solid evidence Jinx escaped on the air blimp heading for the sea:
Tumblr media
Well, it seems Powder was right about that... the shots being so similar is clearly not a coincidence.
This is made all the more evident with the very last seconds of screen time of the show. It ends with Jinx's signature scribbles taking over the screen for three seconds with the words 'The end' written across.
Tumblr media
Some people I've seen commenting on the fact the letter E on 'the' is reversed, but I think that's just a style choice in line with Jinx's graffiti so far. What is significant here is the fact it's so evidently Jinx's mark straight after the air blimp that resembeled the one in the first episode of Arcane season one.
Annnnd there's just one more thing now. I promise I'm almost done lol.
The lyrics to the song Wasteland that plays during episode 8, when Jinx is about to try and end her life are as follows:
This world is a wasteland where nothing can grow
I used to have strength but I ran out of hope
I know it’s my fault that I'm here all alone
This world is a wasteland
Please let me go, go, go, go, go, go, go
But then the lyrics change in the last chorus, they go from Jinx preparing to end her life for good, to THIS:
This world is a wasteland where nothing can grow
If it weren’t for you I’d be here all alone
I know in my heart this is where we belong
This world is a wasteland
Don’t let me go, go, go, go, go, go, go
Don't let me go
I feel it's likely that the line 'if it weren't for you I'd be here all alone' is referring to Ekko. Because it's Ekko who stopped Jinx from killing herself. And then of course the biggest change, from 'please let me go' to 'don't let me go' Jinx isn't ready to say goodbye. She wants to stay living. And I think it's this that plays in her 'sacrifice' scene with Warwick. It's not her giving up on life, it's her accepting that her life has changed and she needs to break the cycle by moving on. Not for anyone else, but for herself.
Let me know in the comments or reblogs your thoughts on this! And thank you for reading if you got this far lol.

I think I just dislike ships with Sevika because a lot of shippers can't seem to talk about characters outside of a ship, if that makes sense??
Like people can't talk about one character without another character being brought up.
I also just really don't like seeing her shipped with topsiders, it seems out of character for her.

Hii!! Could I request Council member sevika x reader (established relationship) bathing her after a stressful day or even her first day 🙏🏽💕
Late night care ―୨୧⋆
hi anon ! and yes i love this, she definitely deserves it, i went with after her first day :) its kind of suggestive in a few parts but nothing explicit so be warned !
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sevika had just gotten back from her first meeting, it was quite obvious she didnt have a good time
On the way home, she ranted about how the topsiders on the council treated her, they werent too happy about Zaun being represented.
This was obviously bound to happen as the council wasn't very open-minded. It would take a while for them to adjust to this change.
She needed some time to relax and you knew just how to help her.
You pulled her into the bathroom as soon as you got back home, sitting her on the toilet lid next to the bathtub.
She groaned at the soreness in her legs when she sits down, rubbing at her thigh with calloused hands. You got on your knees in front of her, beginning to tug at her laces, hand wrapped around her ankle. Her eyes widened in shock at what she thought was your boldness.
Pulling her booted foot from out of your hands, she raised her leg to rest her sole on your inner thigh. "So this is your idea of helping me relax?"
Your face flushed, not realizing the implications of your actions and pushed her heavy leg away. "It's not the time for that," you pointed towards the bath, "I was going to run you a bath.",
You looked up at her, and her expression was beaming in amusement. "You can't just drop to your knees in front of me so fast," She teased while you continued to tug her boots off. "But I guess it's not the time for that yet."
You rolled your eyes at her words and tossed her dirty boots to the corner of the room and stood up between her legs. Before you could move, she was wrapping a thick arm around your waist, putting her face into your torso.
"I appreciate you doing this for me." She mumbled into the fabric of your shirt.
You let out a small chuckle at her affection and ran a hand through her hair, slightly scratching at her scalp. After a few seconds, you pushed her away to turn to the bath. She let out a grunt when you escaped her grasp and eyed you as you bent over the tub to turn on the water.
You could feel her piercing stare from behind you as you tested the water that was now flowing into the tub, making sure it was hot just how she liked it. You had bought some cinnamon and sandalwood bathsalts a few days ago from a nearby shop, knowing Sevika would like the scent.
Reaching behind her, you opened a cabinet near her head, your arm brushing against her hair. She turned slightly to plant a kiss on your forearm, looking at you with soft eyes.
You giggled at her forwardness, feeling a blush settle on your face as you pulled some small jars out. Her eyes chased your form as you moved back to the tub, pouring in (what you think) is the perfect measurement of salts. After adding in some rosemary to help relax her muscles, you sat them on the corner of the ledge, swirling your hand in the half filled tub.
Sevika found this endearing, that you are working hard to please her. Even though the past few days have been nothing but stress, she felt as though this moment had already taken it all away. You did so much to keep her worries at bay, and she recognized it.
She shook her head and smiled to herself inwardly, getting up from her spot and stepping beside you, putting a hand on your lower back. You started to stand up, and she grabbed your chin on the way, pulling your cheek to her lips. Her thick lips were heavy on your face, and you could feel her hot breath fan your cheek as she pulled away.
"Ready?" She asked, finger still on your chin.
You nodded, putting your hands on your hips to stare proudly at her. She chuckled at your confidence and pulled her shirt over her head.
You stared, flushed, at her happy trail that climbed up her toned stomach. The dim light highlights the muscle of her arm, and your eyes trailed up to her black bra that concealed her chest.
"You're staring damn hard for someone who said 'its not the time for that'," She cocked an eyebrow down at you.
You cleared your throat and turned around, pretending to search for something. At that, she let out a throaty laugh and nudged your back lightly. You realized you needed to grab her a bathrobe and shook your head as you stepped out to get to the closet.
Grabbing a black and red silky robe from the closet beside the bathroom, you hummed in approval. You could hear her clothes dropping to the ground from within the bathroom and stood outside a little bit longer than you probably needed to, clutching the robe to your chest.
When the sound ceased, you took that as a queue to step back in. You were greeted with the (yummy) sight of Sevika layed back in the tub. Her toned back pressed against the wall, and her arm rested on the ledge. Her hair was splayed out on the wall, moist with condensation. The sight of her head thrown back and her eyes closed in genuine pleasure made you stare for a few seconds before closing the door behind you.
When you turned back, her grey eyes pierced through you, now smirking in your direction. She made a 'come hither' motion with two fingers. You obeyed and stepped towards her, setting the robe down on the counter.
You knelt down to run your hands up her arm to her neck, slightly scratching the base of her scalp. She groaned at the feeling and relaxed (if she could be more relaxed than she already is).
You pumped some bodywash into a rag near the ledge by the previously discarded bath salts with your other hand. Tapping on her back to get her to learn forward slightly, you rubbed the rag gently over her back, letting soap drip down into the water.
You now sat on the ledge, leaning on the wall parallel to her back. She groaned occasionally at your massage, coming undone under your touch. Gritting her teeth at a particularly tense spot that you tore through.
Her skin felt hot underneath your fingertips, running your nails down her back and across her scars. It was rare to see her so vulnerable, but you weren't complaining.
Suddenly, you realized how slick the ledge was with condensation when you shifted a bit. Before you could process this you went toppling over.
Not onto the floor.
Into the bath.
Sevika jumped in suprise, getting pulled out of her trance and moving her legs upwards to catch you. Her arm held onto the front of your shirt. But this didn't do much. Water was already up to your bellybutton and overflowing onto the ground.
Immediately, your eyes flew to Sevikas face, worrying that you ruined the moment. But what you were met with was her delighted and teasing smile. Her thick lips were stretched upwards.
"If you asked to join, i would have said yes," She laughed, "Ya didn't have to jump at me."
You both laughed at your situation, trying but failing to pull you out of the tub.
Eventually, you both gave up, having no more energy, and you pulled your wet shirt over your head as a last resort and settled between Sevikas legs, back pressed against her chest.
And this is how you opted to stay for the rest of the night.
Sevika was pleased.

Sevika's Ending (But for real I don't think it's an Act 3 issue... It's an Act 2)
See, hindsight is a very powerful tool that helps us visualize when things should've been done differently. Hindsight is realizing I shouldn't have been a coward back in my early teens and should've gotten a headstart on youtube, alas we are here. Hindsight in this case, is judging the way act 3 of Arcane ended in relation to the show and where they went wrong, if they did.
I genuinely, genuinely loved the show, and like the ending, I think the conclusion of the characters makes sense with the way they were presented, despite my previous post regarding Sevika's ending maybe being interpreted as "Character assassination", it wasn't, I think taking a position of leadership inside of Zaun was what she needed. My post mainly came from the heartache taking that position must bring her, now with emptions more settled after episode 9, I wanted to touch on the fact that, for me, the issue with the conclusion wasn't an Act 3 problem, rather an Act 2, because Sevika's arc concludes in act 2.
Now, Wants vs Needs is something character arcs are usually based around, what your character wants is not necessarily what your character needs. In this case, Sevika's arc follows this structure pretty well, she does not want to be in a position of power, rather reserving her loyalties to someone she considers better fit to lead, this however comes to an issue as she, more often than not, is the only one willing to put her actions where her words are, she is calm, collected, and knows loyalties better than anyone, she exhibits qualities a leader should have, but the issue is that the attention of the world around her, much like our own, is taken by figures bigger than her, Vander, Silco, Jinx. This leads her to the logical conclusion of being the support rather than the spotlight.
Let us recall then the scene in episode 4 of Sevika rallying the Undercity residents by the Vander statue, this is a big moment in the story, and possibly the culmination of her arc, she has spent her life following, and now the latest person she tries to follow is unwilling to risk everything for their city, so she must step up.
This may look as a "She can't lead" moment, I would rather take it as a point of change of perspective for the people of the Undercity, of the fact that while a Symbol is necessary for hope, you can't let it dictate the capacity for fighting, that's why Isha shows up and lights the flare, are you willing to follow just the person? Or do you want to follow the ideal? And if you follow the ideal, does it matter the person that leads you if they know and respect that ideal? This is an important oment in Sevika's arc, the realization that she can do it, she can lead.
And that's why I find it a bit, confusing WHY we weren't given a scene of a conversation between her and Jinx regarding Jinx stepping down from a leadership position, as, pardon if I'm interpreting wrong, as the narrative clearly indicates by taking a detour to solve the Vanderwick plot.
What I'm proposing is basically a writer's scene (a scene that is really only for the writers to know, as what it does it take time that could be better spent elsewhere), but I think 1 moment with Sevika and the Firelights in episode 5, following the prison break, would solve the issue of not really getting WHY she would end up in the council.
In regards to her ending, why I consider it making a bit of sense, is that yes, Zaun did not become independent, and yes, she's in a position of many enemies, but treating her position as having no allies is ignoring the fact she's one of only 2 councilors in the room that chose to stay, I know in my ending break down I put it as forcing her to sit down and accept responsability, clearly that was not the intention for her arc.
I don't think a whole episode was needed to finish her arc, but definetly a scene, she needed a scene, one more scene.
But maybe it's just me, anyway-

So I only JUST caught that Silco said “Her name is Jinx” muffled with the mask on as well in s1e9. I always thought it was not actually able to be heard, but listening to the episode with my headphones on I caught it. It was quick, not as aggressive, more matter of fact and bossy. Idk. It doesn’t really change much, but an interesting thing nonetheless
