Fossil Friday: Septarian Nodules

This funky rock consists of fossilized mud, calcite, aragonite, and limestone. Septarian can be traced back to ancient sea beds from around 50 to 70 million years ago. The cracks within these specimens, called septaria, can be caused by the shrinking of the mud clay as it dries. Septarian can be found in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Madegascar, Morocco, and the United States, with notably UV reactive specimens found in Utah, United States.

Cíaxoch and Celena, from the most recent chapter of SAMATFOE. I am so happy to share this piece with you guys, you have no idea. I'm really proud of it. And I'm so happy to share Cíaxoch and my version of Celena with you too! They're like Eclipsa and Globgor, but... smarter. And lesbians. They're a human/monster romance but the human is also a monster and they bond over their similarities. Cíaxoch is your average Septarian but if she was also an orphan who was raised by revolutionaries and likes architecture. Celena is... Celena. Half-demon, shy, potion-maker, and an aspiring runaway princess. Hope you like them!

Gemuary 2025 Day 12: Septarian

Septarian nodules, or "lightning rocks" are nodules of limestone filled with calcite. They are sometimes known as "dragon eggs"!

Some OCs I've done recently

Cubic Zirconia, a gem that strangely appears in many universes...

Green Plastic, a gem that controls petroleum and loves nature;

Cobalt Bloom, a gem that emerged with two gemstones (it's like the Rutile Twins but with two gemstones and a fused form);

Geuda, a judge gem with 10 powers;

And finally, Hauyne (he/him) and Septarian (she/her, despite looking like a he), two gems that emerged connected to each other, thanks to a shard of their gemstones that one has from the other; Hauyne is a gem capable of solidifying and molding energy; And Septarian is a very unlucky gem (literally, she risks her life every day just because she exists).

NOTE: These gems have nothing to do with each other (except for Hauyne and Septarian).
