Refugee Disguise Coruscant/Naboo
Amidala's mustard-colored disguise to pose as a refugee was in a style that came from the Thousand Moons system. Her Naboo crest headdress, made of orichalc metal decorated with a flower of life design, was covered with a lace veil while in transit from Coruscant. After her arrival on Naboo, she wore the crest openly and added a burgundy coat.

if Obi-Wan had wanted them to stick together he would have put his children in thoses leshed backpacks and maded them hold on to the the preschool walk rope. they have a history of wandering off and needing to work on their self regulation.

Sometimes, we don't choose who we love.
I made a playlist for Padmé Amidala. For her feelings and ruminations. Please check it out!

To those who act as agents of chaos, I say this: I stand resolute and unyielding. And if you strike my voice down, know that a chorus of thousands shall rise up in its place, for you have no dominion over the righteous. We are the defenders of truth.

Don't be afraid."
"I'm not afraid to die. I've been dying a little bit each day since you came back into my life."
"What are you talking about?"
"I love you.

right right so we know Dormé was Padmé's handmaiden for at least 7 years if not 10 which is longer than her royal handmaidens served her for (4 years). Now, obviously the royal handmaidens knew her intimately and beyond her role as queen but in her time with them she was a) a child queen and a teenager and b) using a mask and a role very distinct and different than who Padmé was as a person. Dormé knew Senator Amidala, who, in public persona, was much more Padmé than Queen Amidala ever was. In the Darth Vader comics, we see Dormé working closely with the former royal handmaidens, and she seems to know them as well as they know each other, and most importantly she's one of them, a part of this group. I love this dynamic, and I can't help but wonder what went down in the 19 years between Padmé's death and when we see the handmaidens again. how did they come together like this? who recruited them? why Dormé but not Moteé and Ellé? (the explanation I'm looking for is not 'greg pak doesn't care', it's something in-universe) After they came together, how was it? were their tensions? was there a sense of superiority from one or another over the other? how did their different perceptions of the person that brought them together affect their work together? the royal handmaidens knew Padmé and talked to her after she was queen, but Dormé worked so closely with her during that time. what would that mean? do you think they argued over whose side would she take in arguments? what foods she liked? and what was the weight of Dormé being the only senatorial handmaiden around? was she? maybe Moteé and Ellé and even Teckla were there before but they left? how did the sense of loyalty Dormé clearly has for the other develop? they were all much more physically similar to Padmé than the other senatorial handmaidens, so how was that? when the 5 ghosts of your closest companion are before you, what do you do?

Lakeside Gown Naboo
For visits to the Varykino retreat in Naboo's Lake Country, Padmé had a backless gown that clasped around her neck. She brought it with her at the end of her second term as queen, and wore it covered with a shawl when Chancellor Palpatine visited her. During her retreat with Anakin Skywalker, she wore the dress with her back uncovered.

i want ahsoka and leia to talk, and i want leia to be angry, because how can you still love a monster like him? she can't be mad at luke, not really and not forever, but she doesn't know ahsoka at all. she sees it in her eyes that when ahsoka looks at her she is only reminded of someone else, someone she hates — and, then, ahsoka tells her, “you are your mother's child.”

Unidentified Queen of Naboo from The High Republic with a yacht
The unnamed Queen ruled around 382 BBY. That queen owned a yacht, which the gambler Axel Greylark wanted to buy with his inheritance.
Unfortunately, that is all what is known about her. We do not know how she looked, what kind of dresses she wore or her age. On the painting she is presented in royal hangar with a probable visualisation of the yacht, which she owned, in the background. She has a costume, which belonged to other Naboo Queen, who ruled after her reign. As the Lady ruled in time of Great Peace - she was presented with traditional scars of remembrance on her face.
Naboo royal crest behind her also represents her high status.
