"Reflections in the Quiet"
In the hush between moments, I linger,
where shadows stretch long and truth feels thicker.
The mirror don’t lie, but the mind? It twists,
bending light through cracks where memory drifts.
I catch glimpses of a younger me,
eyes burning with dreams too wild to see.
Fists clenched against time, chasing the sun,
yet running from storms I couldn’t outrun.
What’s the weight of a soul when stripped to the bone?
When the noise dies down and you’re truly alone.
No applause, no likes, no eyes to impress—
just the echo of choices I tried to suppress.
I’ve been both villain and the one who forgives,
a ghost in my past and the fire that lives.
I’ve loved with abandon and shattered my heart,
then stitched it with words, a makeshift art.
Growth ain’t linear; it's jagged and raw,
cutting through ego, exposing the flaw.
But in that bleeding, there’s something divine,
the beauty of breaking and learning to climb.
So I breathe in this stillness, let judgment dissolve,
a puzzle in pieces, still learning to evolve.
And if tomorrow I stumble, that’s part of the song—
the rhythm of falling, then moving along.

Whispers of the Soul
Beyond the walls of creed and name, Where echoes hush and torches tame, A silent call, a breath so deep, A stirring force that will not sleep.
Not bound by scripts of stone and lore, Nor chained to rites of ancient yore, It flows like wind through endless skies, A song unseen, yet never dies.

A soul is a monstrous thing, weaker than the heart yet stronger than the mind. What you can’t give your heart, feed your soul with— and reveal everything hidden.

"Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom."–Aristotle
Until you find yourself you will always be someone else🫐🐇
Self discovery is a very hard and confusing process. We all tend to look for it, but it’s a slowly paced journey. Asking questions can help us understand ourselves better and it might help understand what we want and who we are (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.゚
Ask yourself questions🫐
I want to be a part of your journey to self discover and self love. Try asking yourself those questions and save them for your future self.

Fighting for My Worth
The memories of who I used to be, Searching for things That never belonged to me. (My mind was stuck in a haze, Feeling so out of place.)
Trying to feel love In all the wrong places, Ignoring the lies That always faced me.
I just wanted to feel, Wanted a small taste Of what it felt like To belong to someone's heart space. Even if just for a moment, I would explore it— The arms of the wrong ones, Searching for love When there was none.
All I learned as a kid Was that good things happen If you take them, Hold them down, And they'll obey you easily.
How do I show her I love her now? Heal those old wounds Of my inner child. Tell her I love her, Tell her I’m proud of her— When you can't hug a reflection, Does this even make sense?
Running around, Learning to love myself Because I never knew how. Left for dead, my spirit— Still, I fought my way out of hell To become someone.
I don’t have money, Luxuries, or fame, But I can say I’ve built myself a home Where there was none.
Selfish now, I am, Because I know my worth as a woman. No more cages for me, My friend.
I fought this battle again today— I don’t like myself, No, not today. But don’t worry, tomorrow, I’ll fight again.
Every day, an endless battle Of finding and keeping my value. The healing road isn’t easy, But that’s what makes it profound.

my ghosts within
In the midst of what seems mundane lies a hidden world
Ghosts surround me, accompanying my every step
The lost, the unmet, the real, the imagined
These translucent entities haunt and console me
Wispy figments shift in and out of awareness
Subdued whispers, their presence felt but never seen
What may seem ordinary masks profound challenges
I push aside my ghosts who yearn to be acknowledged
Fragile mind oscillates betwixt clarity and confusion
A perpetual struggle to live in the present
The universe is littered with daily reminders
of what once was…
of what could have been…
of what I have lost…
of what was never mine…
of what will never be…
Every hushed whisper, every reverberating echo
My ghosts represent these fragments of my narrative
An incomplete history of distortions and illusions
Leaves me feeling incomplete
So, who am I?
What may often be overlooked carries significance to me
Unanswered questions ignite chaos within my mind
I navigate an unsolvable labyrinth of mystery
External investigations cannot unveil these buried truths
Healing lies in reconciling with my ghosts within
Dialogue with them holds the key to my liberation,
Clearing away the misty fog that clouds my perception
By forgiving the past and accepting the unknown,
I can release my ghosts from my internal world
Empowered, I can forge my own narrative,
Finally discovering who I am

Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scarred from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope, and right now, they are sitting here reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today

Discovering
Who told you love must color inside the lines, never turning, never wandering, never stopping to admire the beauty of colors that defy the outline?
Who told you attraction must fit in a box, perfectly wrapped and sealed with a bow, as if your heart should follow rules written by someone else?
You don’t need a label to feel what you feel. You don’t need permission to follow your heart. Desire is a language, and you are allowed to be fluent in more than one.
Let yourself look, let yourself wonder. You are not lost. You are simply discovering.
You don’t need a label to know who you are, just space to breathe and room to be.
So let your curiosity be free, let it explore, let it question, without seeking approval from those who color only inside the lines.

I made my own soul
I am a husk, who built her own soul.
I spun her of amber, I spun her of gold.
Pyrite perhaps, but she bristles and blooms.
Ebbing like candlelight, in the waves of my gloom.
And though she is young, she burns just as bright.
As she sees my through, my aches and my plights.
Haven’t known her since birth, she’ll see me to death.
Parting my lips, at my final breath.
I am a husk, who made her own soul.
A treasure for which, shall never be sold.
I made my own soul.

And in all the healing you do,
all the trying and failing and trying again,
the small steps, the big ones,
the backtracking,
and the painfully shallow forward momentum,
in all that,
there are some things that will remain forever lost.
You will never regain the hearing in your right ear.
The teeth ripped from your jaw.
Or the soft skin you once had.
The trauma will remain in parts of your body as a token of what you once were,
and who you will never be again.
Every part a thread in the tapestry of who you are,
and yet none of it could conjure an image that truly reflects the painter who once saw.
