fem reader, pure fluff, childhood friends to lovers lemme alone do not perceive me yk the drill by now, lil self indulgent fic cus i love childhood friends to lovers and puppy crushes, polar opposite’s trope, this reeks of my oc x canon katsu ship sooooo shh shh do not perceive.

the first person who realizes katsuki has a crush on you is his mom because when she comes to pick him up one day from kindergarten he suddenly mentions you. it’s an innocent little interaction he had with you that mitsuki doesn’t think much about at first, simply surprised her son managed to befriend someone outside of his little group of friends until he starts mentioning you more and more.

soon you’re the only thing he talks about and katsuki even starts begging her to have you come over to play. mitsuki is extremely curious to know what kind of person you are to have been able to enchant her son the way you have, she says it’s fine as long as your parents agree.

you’re a sweet little thing, almost the complete opposite of her little devil’s spawn. you’re polite and a little shy when you ask “ is it okay if i come to play at katsu’s house, please miss katsuki’s mom ?” and how could she say no to you ? she pulls at your cheek lovingly and her son almost snarls at her.

“no touchin’ !” he snarks, pulling you against him like you were his teddy bear.

mitsuki was the first to realize her son had a crush on you when you were always around. when he found something cool during a class trip you were there and whenever he was upset it was always because you had argued about something irrelevant that seemed so much bigger in the eyes of a child.

she realized because katsuki had, and in some ways, will always be rowdy. he’s rough and temperamental and moody—basically, he can be quite the brat. (she wonders where he gets that from a lot) but he’s different with you.

he’ll always be a little rough around the edges but it’s the thought that counts. he drags you around a little too hard but it's to show you something he knows you'd like and you repay him by being patient with him and letting him drag you around to his hearts content. he let’s you use the crayons he’d just denied another classmate seconds ago and when it’s really early in the morning and you’re still sleepy unlike your more energetic friend, he waits for you. sitting with you in the reading corner quietly commenting on a little bit of everything in the book you’re sharing until you’re awake enough to start the day because katsuki wanted you to be together through anything no matter what, starting the day without you was simply unimaginable.

you offer him your kindness and he repays you with his loyalty. acting like your guard dog, protecting you from everything and everyone he considers a threat to you. he goes a bit overboard but it’s the thought that counts and he’s definitely got the right intentions.

“ i’m g’nna marry yn when i grow up !” katsuki proclaims from the backseat of the car after mitsuki had come to pick him up. she looks at him through the rear view mirror only to see he’s not even looking at her, looking out the window somewhat longingly, watching as his school fades away from his sight, further and further and further away from you. she smiles to herself.

“yeah ?” she asks “yeah !” he responds proudly, crossing his arms “ i asked yn if she wanted to be my wife an’ she said yeah, so we’re gettin’ married !”

“huh. how’d you propose ? you don’t have a ring.” she jests.

katsuki responds immediately and exclaims he does have one, shuffling around to reach for something in his pocket. he pulls out a plastic ring pop holder, the candy on top is missing and mitsuki can imagine what happened to it.

“gave her one of these !”

“so that’s why you had me buy those from the store last time,” she hums. “ you ate it, though.”

katsuki tries to roll his eyes but just ends up looking up and to the side, mitsuki recognizes it as him trying to mimic what she does a lot and she snorts.

“well duh, we both did ! ‘f i kept it in my pocket it woulda gotten gross !” he defends. mitsuki simply responds with a hum, smile on her face growing larger as she hears her son happily chatting about the rest of his day with you.

she knows her katsuki is hard to handle. extremely so. but when she sees the way you both interact she can tell something is there. you don’t ‘handle’ him. you like being around him. you like playing and talking with him, she sees how happy you make him whenever you come over for playdates. he holds your hand when you get scared and you hug him tight and beam when you see him again after he’s gotten over a nasty cold.

she can tell you make her son happy and he does the same for you in the way children do with pinky promises and shy cheek kisses, kisses over tiny wounds and refusing to be separated whenever the rowdier one of you both gets his recess time taken away for being naughty.

mitsuki hopes this crush, this love you have for her son can grow along with you. she hopes you’ll stick around as katsuki grows up more and potentially more rowdy and rougher around the edges but even more enamored with you. and with the way her son is squirming around in his seat and tugging at his seatbelt, giddy about you accepting his ring pop proposal, she has a funny feeling you’ll be sticking around for a long time.

I still can't get the unused concept art of Wish out of my head so I've been reading a lot of rewrites and looking at a lot of Wish redesigns...

So... I got inspired. I'm currently conceptualizing my own Wish "rewrite/redesigns", but with a twist. It's gonna be a spiritual "prequel", cuz idk I feel like being meta since we'll be using the original concepts before the final concepts/decisions made for the final movie XD

Many of my "prequel" characters will be stand-ins for the canon characters! So "Asha" will be renamed "Amala", "Magnifico" will be called "Mamoun", and so on. Think of Pokemon Legends: Arceus regarding the relations of these "OCs" with the canon characters.

Anyway, here are the designs I have so far! I only have the designs for Amala and the Star for now. Hopefully, I can get to draw the other characters soon, especially Mamoun and his wife.

The story will be called "Once Upon a Wish"

Here's an overview of what I have so far... Some details may change if I feel like my other choices serve the story better. (Also, small disclaimer, this is just a veryyy self-indulgent AU made by yours truly, so some details may not be accurate with the canon lore present in Wish)

The story takes place on the same island of Rosas, but from many years ago. If my research is right, canon Wish takes place in the 1200s, so maybe my "prequel" can take place in around the 900s-1000s. Rosas definitely wasn't called Rosas back then, but I'm still figuring out what to call it so I'm just gonna refer to it as "an island".

Amala is a shy, meek, but hardworking apprentice of the island's head sorcerer Mamoun (hence, her color palette looks similar to Mickey's outfit from The Sorcerer's Apprentice). Despite all her hard work in her magic studies, she doesn't really excel at using magic, making a lot of accidents during training. If there's anything she really excels at, it's the act of storytelling (She can draw/animate, sing, and write stories like fairy tales).

Amala also has a little sister Ayah, who I can imagine is the Lilo/Anna to Amala's Nani/Elsa. Ayah is spunky and cheerful, but she has an illness that makes her disabled. The sisters are orphans, but they live under an old family friend they affectionately call Grandpa Dabir. Dabir is a retired bard turned doctor who was part of a troupe with 6 other former bards, all of whom he and the sisters still interact.

sorry if this question is a bit stupid/redundant but im curious how your wir ocs became their own thing in hard times in houston? did they just evolve beyond, did you just want to see how they'd work outside of the wir setting or did you disconnect them from it for another reason? how ocs/aus grow into different ideas and settings is just interesting to me!

Very simply: Me and my friends in a VC went ohh wouldn't it be funny if we made a human AU? Like, how would these characters act if we forced them to be people in a society? And I wanted to be self-indulgent and make characters southern.

And then the madness took me. What I love more than anything is thinking about how and why characters act the way they do. Which I was already doing beforehand but now I was like, wow... their childhoods and the ways that SOCIETY impacts them!!!

So yeah it was a fun little "omg what if" because I like designing human versions of characters that me and my friends got kinda crazy with pretty quickly. However before an actual normal human AU there was a Resident Evil one. Because as a joke I drew @metalpincer's OC kissing a certain character. And then it just kept going.

Classic power of Yes, and- teehee. And at a certain point, my focus with the video game versions became more of an exploration of people existing within a society where their existence is based around a performance and being a product, rather than interacting much with the canonical movie plot. LOL.

I love character studies. I love putting strange dysfunctional people in a mundane situation and seeing them act weird. And most importantly, I LOVE PLAYING BARBIE DOLLS WITH MY FRIENDS!

Hello, i hope no one's asked this before, but what inspired you to draw from all the different cookie run? i love how you draw them, especially dark cacao cookie.

Thank you, I'm glad you like how I draw the cookies! ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ Hmmmm, I think what inspired me to draw so many cookies in romantic scenarios was my need for self-indulgent interactions between cookies and the viewer and positive reception from oc x canon shippers and selfshippers. At the time, there wasn't a lot of anon insert work for Cookie Run that I could find so I decided that if I wanted something like that, I had to make it myself. And by taking requests, I could help create something sweet for a character that someone out there really yearns for. Admittedly, a lot of the drawings I've made, that include characters I don't focus on personally, are simpler and surface level. This is due to not wanting to put forward an odd portrayal of said chara by going too deep in the wrong direction. Because of that fear, I feel limited in what I can do <:,)

OKAY, I'm gonna start making things clear here and explain the difference between

Burger Bats AU Johnny and canon Johnny.

First of all, I respect the canon and the creator's works, and when I draw the canon I try to make it accurate, however it is different for the AU because he's a completely different version of himself and it took place AFTER the comic had ended. And I am completely aware of what kind of character Johnny is.

Burger Bats Johnny AU :

BB!Johnny is a person who's trying to change in this AU. However it doesn't mean he's a good person here, some of his characteristics, interests and traits are still there, but in a "what if Johnny was trying to change" way. This is why we call it an AU for a reason, because we know that BB!Johnny will be further from his canon self. We are aware of that. You are not supposed to mistake him for his canon self, because it's called an AU for a reason.

Canon Johnny :

We know Johnny, well from JTHM. I could describe him as unhinged, random, disturbing in a way but also humorous at the same time. He's an interesting character I must say, he has a lot of words coming out of his mouth yet still acts like the biggest hypocrite you know. He goes out there taking people's lives, even if the reason is because he didn't like someone's tie.

When I draw canon Johnny is also how I see him in the comic, I try to match his personality when I draw him. I try to make it accurate to the canon when I draw him. He's still the way he is in the comic when I draw the canon version of himself. But we are a fandom, there's a possibility that we will make up our own headcanons. I am completely aware of what JTHM is, the storyline, the characters, I am aware of that without romanticizing this idea. It's fiction, it's a literature about a guy living in a constant horror.

I do love canon Johnny as a character as much as BB!Johnny. I love them equally. But at the same time I also want you guys to separate BB!Johnny as an AU from the canon.

The purpose of this AU is not meant to be accurate. This is a multifandom AU that coexists with OCs, so it means there's some characters from different pieces of media in here, not just JTHM, another example that's part of the AU is Pou, LITERALLY POU the game, and it's meant to be just for fun and it isn't supposed to be taken seriously because of the wacky jokes (mostly just between me and my friends, mind you I'm not the only person part of this and I'm not gonna bring up any names for their sake and protection.)

I'm also gonna explain the relationship between Angel and BB!Johnny because it's also relevant.

They are not in a relationship in this. They are not supposed to. They're complicated and toxic, they kinda don't like each other but they hangout and do what friends do. Sort of like enemy-friends, rival-friends whatever you call it. And if you see me draw them together like a couple, it's not related to the lore, it's just something I draw when I'm bored or just trying to have fun. Again, it is not meant to be taken seriously. And I do not condone whatever the heck they do.

It's one sided. Johnny doesn't reciprocate Angel's feelings for him. He doesn't feel the same way. My friend and I had discussed and we agreed. But we also like to joke about how they're like an old divorced couple by how they interact with each other.

There are people who don't like this, I understand that. And I am not forcing anyone to indulge in something they don't like. But refusing to let people have fun and explore their creativity? That's a different story now.

We are just a bunch of teenagers trying to have fun, trying to be creative. It's just we would do in our free time.

Good luck with your OCs! I don't engage much with OC fandom but I do like it. It's a nice and creative way to be self-indulgent/project onto a character/just have fun with new powers/mysteries/comcepts and let everyone know what it's all about from the get go, no canon characterization must be harmed for it either, is a win win. Or it can be an exercise to try to create something that would 'fit' the canon world, the OC possibilities are endless.

I have a few TBHK OCs. At first I only created them to have a role in Your Clock Is Ticking , since we know nothing of teru's classmates and i didn't want to use canon characters as tools with minor roles for my fics, but by now most of my OCs are fleshed out and I love them dearly.

Sugawa Rita was my first proper oc, so she got the honors of having an art

She is 17, a normal girl with no special blood, loves to bake, loves yellow, acts pretty open but is very closed off about her insecurities. She is considered pretty but not 'most hot in school!' type of pretty. She is the love interest of my full supernatural Akane (the name is Aka), since he is dead in the fic, she has no idea.

She is aroace (believes she is pan though), so even if Aka was alive in the fic he would have had no chance.

Shunji is someone I created to get a crush on Teru, but it was so fun to write him that I got attached, to the point I will give him a mini arc in the background where he get a good bf. (rockytye79 made an art of him!!! CHECK IT OUT: HERE )

Tsurai Yamato is an OC I made to be Aoi's dad, because I needed to give the Akane of the fic (who died 30 years before canon so most of the current manga characters weren't even born) a crush. He is a self-destructive mess in every sense of the word, I gave him way more depth than he needs for his role. Made him indeed a pure OC, for I have zero belief canon Aoi's dad would be anything like Yamato.

i've been thinking about this question a lot lately, because a few people have mentioned an interest in poly fic from me recently. i always really love writing good-natured ribbing between the guys, and sylus is such a fun character to write for intentionally driving others up the wall. I honestly would love to be able to write poly mc sylus caleb someday, but i'm not poly myself. I know that i could do it as an intellectual exercise, could probably write something that makes sense for the characters, the right amount of angst and insecurity and also feel-good hurt/comfort with an ultimately happy ending. but my monogamous, insecure ass wouldn't be able to put my heart into it in the same way i do in my current fics. i write fic because it feels good to engage (and wallow) in self-indulgent hurt/comfort, to explore the characters' canon traits while having the freedom to play with an mc who is like an oc to me, who is both like the mc in game and like me (to varying extents). if I wrote poly, my instinct would be to center it around mc's insecurity that sylus and caleb would love each other more than mc. personally, there's something inherently othering to me in poly relationships, because in my life i have always found that if there are three people, someone is always left a little behind despite everyone's best intentions. it just hurts my heart, no matter how irrational that may be. i know that there are poly situations where that's not the case, and people can and do successfully navigate healthy, happy poly relationships, but i think other fic writers would do a much better job, and have more fun writing that relationship for these characters than i could.

and just as a canon note, @sichore has a great post about how out of all the LIs, Sylus would be the most open to a poly relationship, and I think she's absolutely right; I can see him being open to loving caleb like mc loves caleb, because mc is the other half of his soul, and what mc wants, sylus wants. and caleb has shaped mc so much in this life--- @minniestarmj has some lovely thoughts about sylus being able to see caleb's mannerisms, how alike they are, in mc after meeting caleb for the first time. i think sylus would also empathize with caleb's ruthless, cynical attitude about other people, his dehumanization of others while only caring about mc at the expense of the entire world. caleb, on the other hand, is so traumatized, has spent his entire life with his one anchor as mc, is so possessive and protective, i find it very hard to imagine him being anything other than monogamous. he's so fear-motivated, i think that in a poly relationship he'd always be afraid that mc loves sylus more than himself, that he's always on the edge of losing her. also, sylus's dangerous lifestyle, and what it exposes mc to on occasion, would give him an aneurysm. now, all of these would be awesome things to explore in the hands of a good writer who is excited about poly relationships, but i personally just want to wrap caleb up in a blanket and have mc reassure him at every anxious thought that mc loves him, and only him, always and forever... after mc gets over being furious at his big stupid baka self about playing dead for a year.

maybe i'll get over myself someday and be able to write it, but right now, i like thinking about these guys separately, and if they appear in each others' timelines, then their interactions will be good-natured even if slightly contentious/competitive because they all love mc, after all, and i'll probably always write a tinge of longing from the LI who isn't the main focus of the fic. but that's all i can promise right now. for now, i'm content to reblog well-written poly fic and ideas from other writers, and to write my sad little angsty takes on the LIs and MC the way they are portrayed in the game--slightly jealous nutcases, who still do everything in their power to try to center mc's wants and needs despite their own hangups.

My art:

My drawings, crafts and some cosplays. I draw lots of fashion related illustrations. I grew up spending most of my youth in uniforms. Being able to wear different clothes helped me with my self esteem and gave me the freedom to express myself. That's why my art often features characters in different outfits. It's not just about looking pretty. I see it as a story in itself, where characters could be happy, whimsy and express themselves in different ways.

I especially find Kny to be a very fashionable series so it gives me a lot to work with. I love to imagine what their preferences in clothes would be based on my understanding of their characters, and with respect to their original designs.

Beyond that, I also draw other things. I mostly love to draw characters bonding and being happy in their element.

I usually tend to draw wholesome moments between Kny characters. The series itself is tragic, but the happy moments also stood out to me and gave me comfort. I want to express that happiness I felt when I first read the manga, the happy moments they could have had, and the fleeting ones they had in between. I like almost all the kny characters, but Giyuu and Mitsuri are my absolute favs. I hope people who come to this blog can appreciate them as well.

My KNY OC Akari is for me to be self indulgent, while still being somewhat of a love letter to this series. okay i swear last from me tonight and no spoilers for show but i need armand happiness can we have some book armand / devils minion headcanons. literally about anything- their relationship, what they like to do, post canon, general armandisms that make me love him So Much?

don’t worry about bothering me I love when u interact with me <33 ok so I have a rlly cringe post canon devils minion head canon that I have been wanting to talk about but it’s rlly cringe and self indulgent 😭💔 but tbh, about as cringe as anything in late book canon so 🤷 I hope u enjoy and it makes u feel better, it’s my go to comfort headcanon

so I think Anne rices canon introduction of “through Science™️ vampires can conceive children with the help of DNA 🧬 , but they will come out as genetic clones, literally like identical twins but they r ur child, and lestat has a canon clone son” is a stroke of unhinged world building genius that is greatly underutilized by the fandom! I also think the vampire chronicles fandom is rlly missing out on some cringe fandom trademarks (like fandom ocs, ridiculous aus, stuff like that) bcus of the lawsuit thing probably. So anyway, I made the change I want to see in the world, and I have a genetic clone fan child oc 🙏. inspired by Armand’s canonically paternal personality and nurturing tendencies and soft spot for children, I like to think that way way post canon (around modern day) Armand and Daniel decide to Start A Family, and go through the process lestat did of conceiving a clone child with a surrogate (through armands dna), and they have a son (clone of Armand) named Ivan (after Armand’s father, I’m sappy) ! 🥰🥰 . It’s so silly I know, but I think having the opportunity to raise a human child and getting to give him and watch him live the mortal life he constantly envies and hoped to be able to provide Benji and Sybelle (before it was stripped from them) would be like, rlly good for Armand, and definitely I could see him in later canon wanting to pursue having a child with Daniel bcus of this unresolved grief. The clone layer, as ridiculous as it is, adds another dimension of sappy bcus not only will Armand get to live out the catharsis of giving a human child the fulfilled human life he never got, he will also get to see *himself*, or an almost too literal embodiment of his inner child, get to experience what he never did, and live that happy and safe childhood that Armand was deprived of. I think watching his son who looks just like him grow up and become a man while Armand is eternally frozen as a teen would be hard for him, but still healing and important.

So in my heart, post canon Armand and Daniel have their shit together enough to healthily (tho imperfectly) raise their clone son Ivan, who lives and dies a mortal. Ivan is the most spoiled child to ever live and he has a lavish playroom that is practically a house, fifty iPads, probably like ten ponies, etc etc. I imagine since he shares so much of Armand’s dna he strongly carry’s a lot of his traits, such as autism and strong hyper fixations. And I like to think he’s a little bit of a brat like Armand was as a child🙏 especially since his other dad Daniel does little to discourage those tendencies 😭. Ivan is a screen addict, a model train addict, and a Wolf Kid. He grows up to be the freakiest, strangest, long haired big bearded 5’6 ginger man at the gay bar. As a toddler Armand dresses him like a tiny fancy little man bcus he won’t have any son of his committing any fashion crimes, but unfortunately for Armand Ivan takes after Dad-niel in the fashion department and by the time he’s able to dress himself he wears wolf themed t-shirts and cargo shorts everyday 💔💔

Daniel is rlly naturally good with kids which is incredibly sexy and romantic to Armand. He’s the fun dad 💀 Armand is a little too strict and a little to over protective bcus of how trauma based I imagine his parenting would be, and daniels laid back, comfy and understanding energy helps level that out. When he’s a teenager Ivan goes through a rebellious emo phase and Armand and Daniel have to spend all of their energy desperately trying to ensure Ivan doesn’t tap into his addiction gene or his strong susceptibility to inheriting his father’s personality disorders 💀. He is very doted on and very loved, he is given more care and attention than any other child would be capable of receiving 😭. Armand is convinced he’s a child genius and will definitely cure cancer and become a world leader, so he tends to parade him around like his prized possession that everyone needs to know is incredibly special during Vampire Family reunions or whatever goes on post canon. ivan is not allowed to interact with Most vampires, except for Uncle Louis, who finds it emotionally difficult to be around children 😭 and Uncle Lestat (only under careful supervision of Uncle Louis), who loves throwing Ivan around like a ragdoll and telling him embarrassing facts about Armand 💀
